Maiden was driving home in his new beefed up Corvette after spending the weekend in Philadelphia, visiting his good friend Furvus. The big colourful wolf had his favourite Swedish band, WOLF playing through the stereo as he rawed along with the four hundred and fifty five horsepower Vee Eight engine bellowing loudly. The weekend was amazing; Maiden had had a great time working out and simply enjoying himself with the big grey wolf. But it was now time for him to return back home to see his favourite and beloved horse mate.

While roaring down the freeway towards Virginia, Maiden suddenly remembered it was Kauto's birthday on Wednesday. So as he made his way into Virginia and more specifically, his home city of Norfolk with Seperate Ways by Journey playing, the Saber tooth wolf stopped off at his and Kauto's regular clothing specialists. Inside, the specialists had three floors of various materials and aloud customers to choose any fabric/material and have it be made into any style they wanted, whether it be a shirt, jacket or trousers.

After a full hour of searching, Maiden found a suitable birthday gift and had had it made to fit his big stallion. He then swiftly jumped back into his car and headed home where he would hopefully have a nice surprise for Kauto. Pulling up in his garage, Maiden hopped out and locked it tight before walking inside to the large open-planned kitchen.

'Kauto! Are you here bud?!' Maiden's deep, rumbling voice echoed throughout the house, ensuring Kauto would hear him clearly. A few seconds later, the large wolf heard the familiar clip clopping of his Friesian rushing down the stairs. When he reached the bottom, Kauto's eyes lit up as he saw the rippling form of Maiden.

With a big grin, Kauto charged towards his wolf and literally rugby tackled him to the ground. But in a safe manner, as neither were hurt. But Maiden was shocked beyond belief to find Kauto so excited. 'Maiden! I've missed you so much this weekend, I'm so glad you're back.' With nowhere to go, Maiden was trapped on the floor in a swarm of hulking stallion muscle as Kauto hugged him closely.

'Err.......Kauto....can you loosen your grip there for minute you're starting to squeeze me.' Kauto instantly jumped to his hooves and helped Maiden up while jumping rather crazily on his hooves in excitement. 'Man what has gotten into you? You're very hyper today hehe. It's good to see you too, how have you been?'

'I've been very bored, and have missed you so much. That Ferrari convention was ace, but I just couldn't enjoy it as much as I would have with you. I just wish I didn't have to go to it by myself.' Kauto's excitement rather quickly faded as he said this, and his grin had turned into a rather sad expression making Maiden a little upset too.

'Hey come on, I'm sure you had fun right?' He replied with an arm around Kauto's shoulders.

'Yeah I had fun, I got to drive the new release by Ferrari. But.....'

'But what Kauto, what's wrong?' Kauto looked to Maiden and felt very upset inside for some reason. 'Kauto, don't look at me like that it makes me sad. What's the matter?'

'I don't ever want to go somewhere without you ever again, I couldn't sleep a wink on Saturday and was too tired to do all the things I had planned yesterday.'

'Where is this coming from bud? I thought you were excited about the whole weekend.'

'I was, but by the time Saturday had finished and I was getting ready for bed, I couldn't get you out of my mind. I just wanted to wrap my arms around you all night, I don't know why i felt like that. I guess I love you that much, I need you by my side all the time.'

'Well, I'm here now so why don't we spend the rest of the afternoon doing something together. I bought you a gift for your birthday on Wednesday, you can have it early if you'd like.'

'Awe thank you Maiden, are you sure I can open it now?'

'Yes go ahead, happy early birthday to my big stallion.' Maiden handed Kauto a bag with his present and the stallion looked inside, before pulling out a large shirt inside. It was black and made out of a very stretchy material which Kauto smiled about. But what made him really grin and be surprised about was the pattern and the picture on the front. The pattern was of equine nature with many feral horses on it. But the picture on the front made Kauto's eyes go soft with a deep passion.

'Awe, Maiden that is an amazing picture. When did you take it?'

'Hehe, I had it taken the other week when we had the whole family together. You know, when you accidentally dropped the mug and was very upset that you did so.'

'Yeah, and you guys and girls were very good with me. You weren't angry at me for being clumpsy.'

'Oh how could we be angry at you, it was only a mug and besides we got a great photo of us all together with you in the middle.'

'I know, awe Maiden i absolutely love it. Thank you so much.' Kauto pulled Maiden into him and hugged him tightly again with a load of warm nuzzles to his neck for good measure.

'You're very welcome, I do have something planned for Wednesday but I won't ruin it for you heh. Now, why don't we spend some time together and go out for a drive to a local restaurant or something for the evening eyy?' Kauto smiled and nodded in return.

'I'd love too, anything to spend time with you.' As Kauto replied this, Maiden grabbed his big stallion into his arms and raced upstairs were they got ready before heading out to the Corvette C7 for a drive through the mountains. Since Maiden had only bought his new car the previous week, Kauto hadn't driven it yet. So the Saber Wolf gave him another surprise and let his stallion have a drive in it.

Fifteen minutes into the drive Kauto was in love with the new Corvette and couldn't believe how easy it was to drive. Especially with his large hooves, he was able to relax with his hugely ripped left arm leaning on the window and the wind gushing through his long mane.

'Ahh, this is the way things should be. I'm with my big wolf, going through the mountains in a wonderful Corvette with a bellowing soundtrack from a V8 engine. It doesn't get much better than that hehe.' Maiden chuckled to this and gave Kauto yet another surprise.

'Oh I think I can make it a little better for you, hold on to your horsey mane it's about to get very windy.' Maiden moved his meaty right paw towards the dashboard and pressed a button with an opened roof over a car, sign on it. Suddenly a wild gush of wind blew through the whole car as the roof suddenly contracted back into the trunk. Kauto neighed in elation as his mane wildly shook and blew in the wind.

'Maiden this is unbelievable. I feel so free, I just want to neigh and go wild!'

'Well, go wild! It's your birthday very soon so just let your excitement run free! Neigh for me like the stallion I know you are!' The mountains all around echoed as the thunderous Vee Eight engine was suddenly accompanied by a howling, squealing neigh from Kauto's immensely powerful lungs. Maiden watched as his big horse neighed so freely in the wind around him, with his long mane making him look truly sexy as well. A few minutes after this, Kauto stopped and breathed deeply as he looked over to Maiden. 'Wow-weeeee! Now that is what I was talking about. How did that feel eyy? I bet all that sadness of the weekend has gone hasn't it?'

'Phew, crikey that felt good. Thank you for getting that out of me, I needed it heh.'

'No problem, I figured you needed something to just let yourself go free in that sense. You were a little upset after all that excitement went out of you, I don't like seeing you in that way.' Maiden leaned over, and with his soft muzzle planted a deep kiss on Kauto's own muzzle.

'That is why I missed you so much over the weekend, moments like this just mean the world to me.'

'Hmm....why don't you stop the car at the top of the mountain road, maybe we could just spend a few minutes in the car.' Without hesitation, Kauto parked up with an amazing view over the mountain ranges in front of them and switched off the engine. The stallion looked over to his wolf and noticed a wide smile on his face, obviously intending to do something.

'Hmm....I wonder what that big smile means?' Without saying a word, Maiden again leaned over and pulled Kauto gently towards him so he could wrap his lips once again around the stallions. But this time he did so with a real deep love from within. Five minutes later, they began to wander around one another, caressing and massaging each other as much as possible. Maiden was particularly keen on licking over Kauto's mountainous pecs which rippled with each movement. But anytime he got close to his muzzle, it just had to be kissed. Twenty minutes in the car resulted in a very fine moment between the pair as they spent it alone together.

As they looked out of the front windscreen, they both rested against one another and rubbed the other's chest warmly while resting in the car. 'I'm a lucky horse, I really am. I have a wonderful family, a great life, and the best part is I have the most wonderful wolf anyone could ever have.'

'I also am a lucky wolf, to have a big stallion like you in my life makes me feel so safe and make me want live. Happy Birthday Kauto.'
