Mercy of Eggmore
A little bit of Minecraft poetry. Those of you who play on the Sofurry Minecraft server may have seen this miniature epic some place in the library. I'm posting it here for all of you to enjoy.
A thousand years ago A thousand fields away A birth foretold in legend Came forth one fateful day In peace he is In love he lives The Baby that was Eggmore
Happy were those days Silent were those nights Shining fields of swaying grass All was right with home Belly full of pie Blue was the sky The Happy that was Eggmore
One Black dragon flight Barely men cannot fight Fire raining from the sky The end was seeming nigh Dark terrors flying high Dining upon his kin The Fearful that was Eggmore
His home now gone His world now black Charcoal earth he buried them Nothing he did have left and heartbreak took him countless tears he shed The Mourning that was Eggmore
Full revenge he swore Full debts be paid Blood oath he did take Steal dragons of their life His heart beat fire His mouth spoke hatred The Fury that was Eggmore
A sword he took A helmet he wore A shield of father's bones A journey he did take Alone he found it Found black dragon's lair The Killing that was Eggmore
All Revenge he took All debts were paid Blood oath he did fulfill Dragon lives he did steal His home still gone His hands stained red The Regret that was Eggmore
A hundred dragon nests A thousand dragon eggs Hundred dragons he did slay The innocent he cannot harm And so he cared All eggs he kept The Mercy that was Eggmore
