Glasses

This here is just a short, fluffy drabble I wrote up earlier in the week. I challenged my Tumblr followers to through a fetish or kink at me and I would try to write a short story about it. The only one I was sent at the time was a glasses kink, which I found to be an adorable idea. This is the result. Enjoy!

'Come on, where is he?' Aaron glanced around the classroom eagerly, trying not to panic over something so selfish and trivial as the other students filed in. But it was getting close to the start of class, and the one reason he actually enjoyed coming to this annoying philosophy class still hadn't shown up yet. 'Dammit he's the one good thing about this class, and if he doesn't show, what's the point?'

The otter was just about to give up hope to another lame lecture when a german shepherd quickly darted through the door. 'There you are, Connor. Just in time, too.' Aaron smirked, watching the canine get to his seat as the professor began his usual lecture. In his infinite wisdom, their philosophy professor had set the desks up in a U-shape around the room, so he could be the focus of attention for his entire lecture. Aaron didn't care though, as it always gave him a great view of Connor, who sat almost exactly opposite him. 'So glad you could make it. That's it, get to your seat, get all your books out, and put those puppies on.'

He tried to make it look like he was just staring blankly across the room, but Aaron made sure to keep his eyes on Connor, waiting as the shepherd got settled in. It was a torturous wait as Connor got his books out, half listening to the professor while attempting to take notes. But the wait was rewarded when he finally pulled them out: a pair of glasses. A blush crossed Aaron's face as Connor slipped those brass, thin framed spectacles onto his muzzle. Oh how they perfectly framed his face, and brought out those gorgeous, brown eyes. Sure, Connor was good looking anyway, but those glasses where the icing on the cake. Aaron wanted to gaze through those glasses and into the eyes all day, and more.

"Aaron!" The otter jumped as the professor barked his name. Damn, he'd been caught daydreaming again. "I suggest you pay attention, as these lessons can help improve your understanding of your own life dramatically. Plus, there's a report due Friday. So quite spacing out and take notes."

"Yes, sir." He grumbled, doing his best to ignore the chuckles from his peers. Blushing, he glanced around the room, and his eyes met Connor's. For a moment it was as if time stopped, and his breath halted as contact was made. Connor wasn't laughing like the others. No, he was smiling softly. It almost looked like he was blushing too. But no, that was probably just his imagination. He wanted to keep looking, but the professor was watching now, so he couldn't risk it. Guess it was going to be another boring lecture of stealing glances once again.

Or maybe not, Aaron realised, as every now and then he caught Connor glancing back his way. At first he thought it was just his imagination, but it happened more than once. Yes, Connor was definitely keeping an eye on him now. 'Oh god, he must think I'm some kind of stalker freak now.' Aaron sighed, feeling quite the fool. He'd just have to keep it cool until the end of class.

Of course the class dragged on for what seemed like an eternity, as usual. The professor was a boring, opinionated twat, and Aaron would have dropped the class if it wasn't required, and if not for Connor of course. Aaron had been trying to build up the courage to actually talk to the shepherd, but after today he thought it best to wait a bit longer. That was the plan anyway, but when Connor bumped into him after class, there was no way he could avoid it. "Oh, hey Connor. Sorry."

"Hey, it's no problem... Aaron, right?" He smiled, blushing slightly. "Say, I was wondering, this paper we've got due, you want to work on it with me?"

Aaron's eyes went wide, feeling the blush creep back over his own cheeks. 'Alright man, keep it cool. He's just a regular guy after all. A guy with really cute eyes and glasses, but a regular guy all the same. Don't blow it now.' He took a steadying breath and forced a confident smile. "Yeah, that would be great. Do you want to go back to my place? We won't be bothered there."

"Sounds good to me. Lead the way, Aaron."

The otter was beside himself to get Connor alone in his room, sitting in his bed even, as they worked on the damn philosophy paper. Like himself, the shepherd was also only taking the class as a requirement, and was more interested in engineering. The work quickly devolved into jokes about the professor and subject matter, with little serious work getting done.

"This is so lame." Connor moaned, collapsing back onto Aaron's bed. "Who cares about all this good and evil shit anyway?"

"Our professor, apparently." Aaron chuckled, finding enough courage to lie down beside the other. "It's not like we really have to care though. We just have to pass the class."

"True." Connor nodded, staring up at the ceiling. A silence filled the room for a moment, before the canine cleared his throat. "So, uh, I've noticed you've been... looking at me in class from time to time. Is there any reason for that?"

Aaron was blushing heavily now, rolling over to stare at the ceiling as well. "Yeah, sorry about that. It's just, I can't help myself. You're.... well you're really cute, you know. How could anyone not look? Especially when you put on your glasses."

"My glasses?"

"Yeah." Aaron rolled onto his side, smiling at Connor. "Your glasses are perfect, you know. When you put them on, it's like you ascend to a whole new level of hotness. The color stands in sharp contrast against your fur, and they fill out your face well. Plus, they really make your eyes pop." He was blushing again, couldn't believe he was telling Connor all this. He needed to get it off his chest though. "I just can't help but look. I'm sorry if it makes you uncomfortable."

Connor didn't say anything at first, running a finger along the frame of his specs in quiet contemplation. Aaron was sure he had gone to far, until a smirk crossed the other's lips. "No, it's alright. Though, I've never had anyone say they liked me for my glasses before. I'm supposed to wear them all the time, but I think they make me look like a dork, so I try not to. You really think they look good?"

"Oh yes." Aaron's smile widened. "You don't look like a dork at all. I think they make you look handsome, actually. Just staring into them, I almost lose control sometimes." Swallowing his nerve, Aaron gave in to impulse and rolled over, laying on top of Connor. They stared into each other's eyes for a while, locked through the lenses of those glasses as their heartbeats increased. There was a brief moan as they shared a kiss, pressing their lips together and enjoying the heat it brought forth. Aaron felt Connor's arms wrap around his body, and his heart skipped a beat.

"Aaron," he gasped as they broke the kiss. "Is this going where I think it's going?"

"Maybe. Would it be such a bad thing if it did?"

"No. In fact, I think I'd like to see how far this can go." Connor smiled, reaching up to take his glasses off.

"No." Aaron stopped him, putting the glasses back on his face. "These stay on."
