This is my first upload. Also, dragons, pokemon, and digimon inspire me to write stories. I'm new to this, so please no hates. Thanks. So, enjoy the story.

One day, as a 14 year old boy named Joe was exploring the vast regions of the Grand Canyon, he saw a rare species of bird. He loved to go bird watching, so he got as close to the ridge as possible. But, before he got his photo, he slipped on a random ice cube someone dropped from the nearby ice stand. He fell into the canyon, with no one to help him. He thought he was a goner, until A scaly hand grabbed him and tossed him up onto a winged back. Joe couldn't believe his eyes, for he was now riding on a white and red colored dragon! This dragon took the boy to it's cave. There, it gently dropped the boy on the ground and rested on the ground. Joe was shocked yet happy that he saw the dragon. He was about to take a photo when all of a sudden, he saw a rare looking stone. It didn't look like a diamond, but it looked like a smooth, round, orange rock.

"If you wish, you may take the stone. It serves little value to me. And, I think you should be able to remember this experience, so go ahead and take it," the dragon told Joe. He was so surprised, but he took the stone none the less.

"Thank you, kind sir," Joe said. He then carefully climbed back up the Grand Canyon and left for his little home in Los Angelas. He placed the stone in a little case. Then, he fell into a deep sleep.

When he awoke the next morning, he felt quite awkward. He went to check on the stone the dragon gave to him, and it was gone! Joe was shocked that someone could have stole it, when all of a sudden, a sharp pain went through his body. He was terrified about what was happening. He quickly went to go get his phone, but as he grabbed it, it turned to powder. The transformation was slow. It started with his hands. The skin fell off and was replaced with bright orange scales. His fingernails quickly jumped off his skin, and they were quickly replaced with pitch-black claws. Then, his arms' structure changed. The skin fell off of his arms just like with the hands, and were once again replaced with bright orange scales. Thick muscles grew around the new structure of the boy's arms. Then, his upper body started to change. Once again, the skin was replaced with bright orange scales, except where the chest was, which the scales there were black. The structure of his body changed. Sharp ridges grew out of his spine. A long, muscular tail grew, and it too had ridges. His legs fell to the same fate as the rest of his body. They grew thick muscles, as well as bright orange scales. His feet grew longer and wider, and also grew bright orange scales. Just like with his hands, pitch-black claws grew from Joe's feet. His neck lengthened and grew scales as well. Finally, his head began to morph. His nose fused with his upper jaw and turned into a long, orange snout. His eyes spread farther apart from where they were originally, and his ears rose up on his new head and became smallish and pointy. Then, his shoulders literally split in two, revealing a large orangish pair of wings. Pitch-black horns grew out of his head, and finally, his brain changed and morphed. Finally, the transformation was done.

"What happened to me? Why am I now this orange dragon? Does this have anything to do with the disappearance of the stone the dragon gave m-" Joe started. Then, he realized what happened. That stone the dragon gave him fused with his body, turning him into a dragon. He went to try to figure things out, but he wasn't used to his new body. He stumbled down the stairs, though it didn't hurt much. He knew now that a car was useless cause he'd squish it before he even put two feet in it. He wasn't used to walking on all fours, so he tried to stand on two feet. Surprisingly, he easily stood. But now his dragon head bumped the roof of his small house. He then remembered that during the transformation, he grew wings. He thought that this would take some practice, but it came easily for him. He flew out of what used to be his house to go to the Grand Canyon for some answers.
