The End Of Tyrany

Chapter 1

"It wasn't always like this. Atleast that's what taught growing up."

"They told us that everyone got along back then. Humans and furs faught side by side. Wars where faught to help keep the peace. There was little to nopverty."

"I still can't believe it myself. Not after all I have seen. All I have been through to survive in this nightmare."

"I bet you're asking how bad it could be. Well. Ley me tell you."

............................................................................................

Ten human soldiers stood, guns aimed at a group of four furs. Three of the furs where plain houscats. the other a wolf. A man standing behind the line of humans was seated apoun a hourse, giving commands in a language desined for humans alone. He raises his arm, yelling a command. The line of humans openedfireon the furs, leaving none left alive.

A young cat kneeled behind a wall, hiden from the human's sight. He placed apawover his muzzleto keep from alerting the humans as the guns fired. He had just watched his family and best friend die. HE started to shake as he waitedfor the group of humans to move on. His fists clinchedin anger and hatred.

He sat there for close to twenty or so minutes before thr groupof humans finally movedon from the area. Peering out from around the corner to see if the coast was clear, HE nods and starts to move slowly and quietly twords teh group of dead furs, left to rot in the streets. When he reached his mother, he cheaked her pulse.

"No....." he speaks softly and starts to tear up.

"You can't help them now."A voicecalled from offin the distance. "They're already dead."

He looks up and searches the serounding area, tryingto find what the voice belonged to. He quickly grabs hs fathers tanfa blades, readying himself for defince. He had one knee braced to the ground, the other out infront of him, incase he would need to run. He held one blade out infront of him,the other more behind him.

"You need not fear me." the voice called as a large black dragon roundedone of the corners. "I have no intent to harm you. I'm as much on the run as you are."

"What makes you think I will trust a dragon. Far as I'm concerned your no different then those beasts that did this." He spoke through soft tears, yet didn't drop his guard. "It was one of your kind that told them where we were."

"One of my kind, yes, but not I." The dragon responded. "I know the onewho turnedyou and your family in. And I assure you, had she known I was here as well, the humans would have spent more time scouring the area."

Slowly he lowered the blades, but kept them ready just in case. "Why should I believe you." He asked.

"Because, Damian, I knew your father well, and was helping him to get you and your family to the safe haven of the alliance stronghold." The dragon replied. He lifted his shirt to reveal a brandmark. Something only bestowedon those the humans claimedto be traiters.

Damian dropped the blades to the ground. The steal clanking off the cement. He went back to his examination of his family and friend. Taking what things that were still usable. He looked up at the dragon as he hovered over Damian's fathers corpse. "Will you help me burry them?"

The dragon nodded. Liftingthe large male cat'sbody off the ground and movingto the large female. Damian himself lifted his kid brother onto his shoulder and was forced to drag his friend over to the only batch of earth suitable for a grave. The sound of arecordskipping goes off in the back ground and everything freezes.

............................................................................................

"Ok. I call bullshit." A large plated dragon shakes his head. "Dragons wouldn't side against furs."

"Oh? Is that so?" A middle aged male cat with a steal left arm and shoulder snickers lightly. "Where you there?"

The dragon closed his maw and shook his head. The male cat shook his head. "You are right about one thing. Not all dragons sided with the humans."

............................................................................................

Everything unfreezes. The large black dragon and Damian stood over the unmarked graves of his family. He had his head bowed as he said a soft prair to the goddess, Mithindrial, mystical gardian of all things furry. The dragon has a clawedpaw restingon the young cat's shoulder. "We can't stay much longer." He warned.

Damian nodded. He placedhis fathers weapons in their sheath and strapped the in place with the body strap. The handles of the blades to his sides, the blades comingto an x across his back. He lookedup at the dragon. "What do I do now?"

The dragon shook his head. "I can't tell you what to do, but I can help guid you along the path your father tried to set you on."

Damian nodded. His father had been training him to fight and to controle his ability to manipulate metal. "So.... That means you and I are stuck together?" Damian askedas he looked up at the larger male.

The dragon nodded. "At least till I get you to the alliance stronghold, where I am not welcome."

Damian was confused by this. "Why are you not welcome?" He looks up at the large male. "I thought you were on their side."

The dragon let off a small chuckle. "I am on no-ones side but my own, young one. Just as your father was." The large male looked down at damian with a half smile. "It's why your father and I were such great companions."

Damian nodded as if this had answered all his questions. Again the record skips and the story comes to a halt.

............................................................................................

"Thats sounds more like it." The dragon rumbled.

The male feline telling the story shook his head. "You mind not interupting mewhen I'm telling this. Your the ones who asked me about my life. And as to how I got this arm."

"Yeah, but this sounds way too farfetched." A female lion chimed in from the other side of the table he sat at.

Damian looked over at her. "I never said you had to believe me." He shook his head. "Now... Anything elcebefore I continue?" He paused a moment to hear if anyone else had somethingto say.

The female lion shook her head and stood up, walking off. "Well I refuse to listen to these lies."

Damian shook his head and once more started his story, skipping a few pages ahead, seeing as no-one else had anything to say.

............................................................................................

The large dragon stood ontop of a building, scanning the ground area belowhim. Damian snuck silently through the streets, ducking in and out behind anythinghe could hide against.

A small contengent of five or six humans stood at the end of the road. These where what the two kept watch on.

One of the humans spoke something then walked off away from the others. Half a block away from his group, the human ducked behind a building, and unzippedhis pants, letting his adverage sized human cock flop out, startingto take a piss. The dragon on the roof made a signal to the male cat.

In the shadows, the dark male cat crept silently up on the unsuspecting human. One paw goes over the human's mouth, the other bringing the sharp edge of his blade to the human's throught. "Signal the others in any way and your dead."

The human noded. When the paw wasremovedfrom his mouth he shook his head. Talking in a low voice. "You're late. You were supposed to be here an hour ago."

The dragon landedon the ground silently a few feet away from the two. Damian still holding a blade tothe human's throught. "Put the blade down Damian, he is an ally."

Damian nodded ans slid the blade back in it's sheath. Stepping back from the human and keeping an eye out around the corner, watching the rest of the group. then looked back at the human. "You were supposed to be alone, Dak."

Dak shook his head. "I was alone an hour ago." He looked up at the larger male. "You find the place before the soldiers?"

The dragon nodded and tossed the human a small sachel of gold coins. "You said there would be more then this, but that's all we found."

The human opened the sachel and was pleased at what he saw.Damian made a light whistle, audiable only to furs. A signal for them to move. The human looked up and over at Damian. "What was that?"

Damian looked at the dragon and held up three digits. "No. We agreed on no killings, human or otherwise during this meeting." The human called out in a slightly higher voice, un-intentionally alerting the three humans coming down the street.

Damian made an nod and ducked off down the small ally and hid behind a wall. The large dragon jumped into the air and flewup to one of the nearby roofs, unseen. Dak quickly zipped up his pants and turned teh corner just as the other three humns arrived. Damian watched from his hidding spot tryingto make out the unfamiliar conversation.

The three soldiers talking to Dak drew their guns and rann off down the road, Yellingfor therest of the soliers to join them. The remainingsoldier ran passed a few momments later, gun drawn. When Dak looked back for his non-human companions, he found no-one. "Could have at least said bye, dicks."
