The girls go to the beach!
"Where are we going mommy?" Katee asked. Even though school had ended long ago, the weather was finally hot enough for them to go to the lakeside. Katee, Chelsea, and their mother Lena had been to the beach earlier that spring when they first arrived in their new hometown.

"So Lena," Becky started hesitantly, "how goes the search for a new house?"
Lena laughed at the question. "I've enjoyed staying with you so much I was hoping we could just move in! However, Luke is insistent about getting out of your hair."
"Don't worry; I have enjoyed you all staying with me so much..." She trailed off and begun to stare out the window at the forest they were driving by. Lena sensed her sister-in-law's sadness and grabbed her hand, causing Becky to blush as she continued to stare out the window.
"Becky, you don't want us to leave do you?" Lena asked softly.
"No... I really don't. Ever since you have moved here my life has been so much more... full. I really don't want life to go back to the way it was. My house is definitely large enough for all of you to move in. I even have enough money saved up for an extension if Katee and Chelsea wanted separate rooms. As long as you helped pay for things I'm sure it would work out great for us all." Becky smiled hopefully at Lena, awaiting a response. Lena was quiet for a moment and then responded,
"I'd love to! But Luke needs some convincing..." She looked back at her two daughters. "Chelsea, Katee how would you like to move into your aunt Becky's house?"
The girls smiled and gasped at the news. "Would that mean we would get to live in that huge house all the time?!" Katee asked.
"Yep! All we have to do is convince your father. Can you help do that?" Lena knew Luke's soft spot was for his daughters.
"Yah!" Katee and Chelsea chimed in unison.
"Awesome!" Becky said, relieved that she would not have to return to a quiet, boring life.
As Becky rejoiced, Lena pulled into the beach parking lot and found a spot. "All right girls, time to put on some sunscreen and help carry the toys to the beach."
The girls jumped out of the car, grabbed their toys, and ran off towards the lake.
"You forgot your sunscreen! You better not get in the water yet!" Lena yelled to them.
Becky laughed and said, "I love those girls. They're so much fun to have around."
Lena rolled her eyes and laughed. "They are quite the crazy ones... I need to use the restroom. Do you mind following me and watching the towels and cooler?"
"Not at all, let's go," Becky replied, still full of adrenaline from how happy the news of her family staying was. She smiled and bounced her way to the bathroom as she caught up to Lena.
As Becky waited outside of the bathroom, she began to daydream about the other day with Lena. When Luke and Lena first started dating, Becky was curious as to what Luke saw in her.
