The Adventures of Sollus Dellager.

Part 6: The New Horizon

The Sun crested the trees, its golden light spilling into the cave. It moved along the rocky ground, until at last it splashed onto a certain green dragon's face. Sollus squinted his eyes, and made a slight grimace, he had slept well, but his injuries had left him sore, the fight with Dalik was not easy. It was nothing Sollus had ever done before, and it took its toll on his body. His mind as well it would seem, his dreams filled with indecision, doubt. He had basically killed a dragon, a member of his race, or at least enabled its death.

Sollus Tiredly lifted his body up, taking note as the bandages on his chest fell away, he rubbed along where the gashes from Dalik's claws had been, not a single mark remained, the wound had healed fully. Looking down he smiled deeply, noticing the small human stirring on the ground, leaning down he affectionately nuzzled Zach.

"Good morning my friend" The human opened his eyes, looking up into the dragon's smiling face, a short stretch and yawn as he pressed lightly against one of the dragon's forelegs.

"Mmm, good morning Sollus." the human got up onto his feet, nuzzling back at the dragon before walking over to put on all of his clothes, taking care to equip his new weapons as well. The dragon noticed, looking over at his own new weapon.

"Big day today" he said "The start of a difficult journey to be sure..." the human walked over and past the dragon, picking up the sword as well as the leather harness that would allow Sollus to carry it while a dragon or disguised as a human.

"Success promises a better future for not just us, but all dragons, and humans." The boy locked eyes with the dragon. "Sollus, we have to do this." The dragon fidgeted as Zach fitted the strap and sword around the thick green neck, turning his great head around to watch.

"You are right of course, and we aren't alone. We have each other..." Sollus affectionately licked the human's cheek. "I hope there are other dragons like me though, we could use the help."

"I'm sure there are, how could there not be, they cant all be as cruel as Dalik was, maybe a lot of Kranoth's army just joined him because they had to, maybe they would break off if we gave them an alternative." finishing up Zach patted his friends neck. The dragon eyed him, his tail wagging slightly.

"Yes, i'm sure you are right my friend." Gently Sollus lowered himself. "Shall we be off?" He presented his back to the human, who quickly climbed up and took his position, hugging the dragon's neck tightly.

"Ready. Lets do this!" With a running leap Sollus flew out of his cave, his powerful wings flapping in the morning air. looking back he wondered when he would return, if ever again before shaking his head and facing forward, heading straight for Temaria.

Sollus touched down in his usual clearing, allowing Zach to climb off of his body before activating his illusion, his wings and tail receding into his body as he shrunk and took a position standing on two feet, the black armored plates on his back growing to envelop almost his entire body in what would appear to be rough black leather, a thick black cloak springing from his back, standing at least 7 feet tall he looked down at his companion who stared at him.

"I don't think that will ever not be amazing Sollus." the now human appearing dragon chuckled. Placing his giant hand on the real human's shoulder.

"haha, just a little magic is all." Walking forward the two reached the town gates, a guard eying them with some apprehension, shifting uncomfortably in his armor. Sollus recognized the man and nodded to him, the man replied with a grunt as he cleared his throat.

"Best be on your way Sollus...people are still uneasy about your...well, you." Sollus nodded to the man.

"I hope should I return there will be less animosity towards my kind and with good reason." The guard simply responded with another grunt, turning his view from Sollus as they continued on into town.

The square was just as busy with townsfolk as it always was, but this time they were busy with different matters than shopping and gossiping. Men, women, town guards, shop keepers, even the tavernkeep were all running about, hauling off debris and rebuilding. Sollus marveled at their drive, smiling. Temaria will be as good as new in a few months at this rate, he thought to himself. Spotting Korel amongst the citizenry he gave him a nod, receiving one in return, they had already said their goodbyes, there was nothing more to say until his quest was done. Looking around as they walked towards the western gate Sollus caught a few glances from townsfolk, a few smiles and waves and just as many clearly disapproving looks. Zach noticed as well.

"Even after you save the town they still don't like you, we have a lot of work to do, don't we?" Sollus looked down, patting his friend on the back.

"Indeed we do, but consider how many of these people hated dragons yesterday, or would flee at the very sight of one, think of how much progress we have done already!" Zach nodded, returning his eyes forward.

Looking to his side, Sollus spotted a mother and her child, watching him as he walked, the little boy's eyes wide. With a pat on his back from his mother the boy ran forward towards Sollus, running up and hugging his leg, Sollus looked down in surprise as the boy spoke.

"You saved me Mr. Sollus, you saved my mom, all of us! When I grow up, I want to be just like you!" Sollus kneeled down as the boy took a step back, smiling at him.

"A dragon? Eat your vegetables and it might just happen!" Gently he patted the boy's head, looking back at his mother who simply watched with a smile. The boy piped up again.

"I wanted you to have this, my lucky charm. My dad made it for me before he left to join the army. He said as long as I had it nothing bad could happen to me." The boy looked down for a moment as he rubbed his small fingers over an object he held. "I think you might need it on your quest. it already saved me once..." Sollus looked down as the boy extended his hand, a small object in his palm, it was a simple wooden charm, carved clearly with great care, delicate carvings of filigree around the edges, a small blooming flower carved into the center. A black leather rope extended from it, clearly meant to be worn as a necklace, there was way more than necessary for a human however as it would sag way to low. Sollus nodded to the boy knowing it was adjusted for a dragon's neck, not a human's.

"I will cherish this, Thank you. I wont let you down." Patting the boy on the head again he stood to him impressive height, placing the charm around his neck; A little magic made it appear the right length. Awkwardly the boy ran back to his mother, clutching her dress as Sollus nodded to them both, continuing on. Zach spoke beside him.

"Nothing like the savage dragons I have heard tales of!" Sollus smiled down at him.

At last they reached the western gate, Sollus immediately spotted the Blackstones, walking up to Randar he nodded to the man.

"Are we ready to set out?" Randar nodded back.

"Aye, we are. We will be traveling together for about half of the journey, me and my company will head North across the plains before getting to Argoth, we need to get back to Oessa and restock as well as pay our respects to Zaed and Lanzo's parents." Sollus lowered his head, pain spiking in his heart once more. Alda immediately noticed and spoke up

"It is unfortunate Sollus, but do not blame yourself, they died because of a mistake, it's not your fault. All of us almost died because we were wrong, wrong about your kind." Randar spoke as well.

"I am the leader of this outfit, it was my decision to come here, my decision to fight you. Zaed's death is mine to bear. He was my responsibility. I will not implicate you in his death Sollus, as far as I am concerned Dalik killed him." Sollus nodded in reply, his sorrow assuaged slightly, but still he knew Zaed's death would haunt him the rest of his life. Otto released a grunt from behind, the giant crossbow on his back clacking slightly.

"Sollus did right thing." The giant man nodded sternly. Randar smirked slightly.

"Otto doesn't say much Sollus, but when he does he means it. Put it behind you. Lets be off then shall we? I must admit I feel a bit safer traveling with a dragon after recent events." With a swift turn the Blackstones began to walk off, Sollus and Zach looking at each other before joining them, leaving Temaria behind as the sun rose into the sky.

The group traveled for a time in silence, the weight of the previous conversation still held in the air like a fog. Sollus was still not satisfied, he doubted he ever would be, but he was appreciative to have people who did not hold it against him, surprised in fact. He suspected that if Lanzo was still alive he would hardly be as understanding, Sollus idly spat, the thought almost leaving a foul taste in his mouth.

Sollus was expecting a quiet journey, the road between Temaria and Argoth was well known for being quiet, sure there were the occasional bandits, but nothing organized, there had not been a bandit chief in the area for years now. Argoth could not afford the threat to such an important supply line. So, the "human" distracted himself by watching the birds, trading glances and smiles with Zach and thinking about what his quest would mean. Sollus prayed silently that there were indeed other dragons like him, he would be fighting dragons...killing them, he needed support from his own kind that this was the appropriate course of action, and after all he would not want to make his race extinct and be the last dragon left alive. First things first though, speak to the king and then this archmage...Alondar.

Amidst his pondering Sollus noticed that they had passed the western edge of the forest, vast plains and rolling hills opening before them, he could swear that the spires of Argoth were visible as gray spikes in the distance. This leg of the journey had remained silent, Alda and Randar spoke a bit to each other about logistics to take care of in Oessa, but largely ignoring the dragon and other human. Sollus felt his stomach grumble, Zach looking at him with a smirk, patting him on the back.

"Hungry eh? Randar, will we be stopping soon?" Randar looked back with a turn of his head, before turning to glance up at the sun. Sollus idly noticed Otto looking at Randar with the absolutely goofiest looking expression on his face.

"Food?!" the giant man nearly shouted. Randar rolled his eyes

"No, we need to stop when the sun goes down, we cant waste time, we will make camp in an hour or so." Sollus sighed but knew he was right, he looked to his side and saw Zach offering him a bit of dried meat, nodding he took it and chewed idly on it. Noticing, Otto turned back to Zach and made a pouting face. It transformed back into an absurd smile when Zach offered him some as well, the giant man devouring it almost instantly. Randar and Alda just shook their heads.

After another hour or so the sun was beginning to be a constant object in their western horizon. As the first hints of fading light began to show themselves Randar finally signaled it was time, pointing to a hill, part of it fallen away to leave a somewhat rocky wall, a good place to spend the night and only a short distance off the road. Making their way over Randar, Alda, and Otto began working hard to make camp. In a manner clearly practiced many times they pitched tents, set up a firepit with some loose stones and set up a watch rotation. Sollus and Zach stood a little awkwardly, not sure if there was any way they could help, Walking up behind Randar Sollus tapped him on the shoulder, the man busy setting stakes for his tent.

"Randar is there any way me and Zach might be of assistance?" the man looked over at them, raising an eyebrow.

"Im sure I can find a use for a dragon and a ranch hand. Sollus, could you find us something to eat, game around here is usually not hard to find, and I'm sure you could easily find something. Zach, you can set up two tents for you two, here." the man handed gestured to some bundled up tents near him. Zach coughed and Sollus spoke up.

"Uhhh, one tent will be fine, thank you." Randar made a face betraying his curiosity, a faint grin crossing his lips.

"Hah, alright then, use that one, its larger." Chuckling to himself the man returned to his work. Sollus looked down at Zach, a very obvious blush on his face as he scurried over to gather the tent. smiling to himself, Sollus walked over to a clearing, making sure he wouldn't bump into anything, focusing he made a few hand gestures, easing the amount of energy his casting would demand. All four of his traveling companions stopped what they were doing for a moment to watch the sight. Slowly Sollus body seemed almost to disappear, beginning to be concealed in what looked like mist or fog, looking very much like a small cloud. At last he was barely visible and only because they were all just a few yards away, the form grew and swelled into a massive shape, as the shape spread its wings it leaped into the air, a rather strong gust of wind all they could see as the "cloud" moved up into the air, flying off back in the direction of the forest. The onlookers stood dumbfounded for a time before slowly returning to their work. Randar grunted.

"Hmph, dragons..." Zach smirked and began setting up the tent, the sun slowly setting, a small gap all that remained before it crashed into the horizon.

Sollus flew back low above the plains, despite being a dragon he was a little tired from the walk, he suspected he would be quite ready to sleep after this flight, looking around he finally saw a small group of deer that had wandered much further from the forest than Sollus would have expected, probably chased there by a pack of wolves or another predator. Angling his body down, he aimed for two of them, landing hard with a thud he grabbed them both in his paws, quickly and mercifully breaking their necks instantly, their bodies going limp as the others fled back towards the safety of the forest. Idly the dragon moved one to his jaws, swallowing the animal down, it had been a while since he had a large meal and he savored the fullness. Lifting the other one he moved his cloudshift spell over the body till it gained the appearance of his own, leaping back to the sky he began heading back to the camp, darkness already beginning to creep over the landscape.

As he was about to move off back in the direction of the camp his eyes caught sight of a fire back along the path, on the road just as it left the forest, it flashed into existence before burning dimly, Sollus's sharp eyes could perceive a few figures, perhaps five. They were moving, walking along the path. Focusing, Sollus intensified his spell, his body fading even more as he angled down towards them, he carefully landed a distance away, laying his catch down he creeped along the ground, hiding behind a small hill to make sure he would not be seen. _No one would set out from Temaria in the evening, there would be no reason to..._As he approached, the dragon heard raised voices. They seemed to be arguing about something. He raised his head over the hill, his form invisible in the encroaching darkness to all but the most trained eyes.

"Put the damn torch out, do you want to tell them we are coming?! Shall I shout ahead for them?!" the man angrily grabbed the torch, forcing it into the ground, the light vanishing with a few sparks. The previous holder of the torch stammered.

"We cant exactly find them if we cant see the damn road!" The thief of the torch shoved it back into the others hands, clearly the leader of the group.

"They will be camped, they will have a fire, we will be able to find them just fine without letting them know we are coming! The man cursed under his breath. "You sods should be happy I need your help, we stand to gain a lot from this, a dragon! You could get anything you want with that kind of reputation under your belt!" Sollus felt his body freeze, he suddenly recognized the leader. Veimar, from Temaria, he recognized two of the others, by face not name. Veimar was well known for his hatred of dragons, he had lived to the North in the town of Theyk before a dragon had burned half of it to the ground, his parents killed as well, in his drunker moments he would shout about how he was going to kill dragons or die trying, in his sober moments he would tell stories about the cruelty of dragons, most of them not true as Sollus surmised. He could only be here for one reason, he had gathered a group of people to track Sollus down, and kill him. One of the men at the back spoke up.

"Aye, and how exactly do you expect to take down a dragon and three dragon slayers hmm?" Veimer chuckled.

"Don"t underestimate the element of surprise. Corbin here will take out their watchman and then we will sneak in and kill the rest in their sleep." The man now identified as Corbin nodded.

"I never miss." the others glanced at each other, nodding they continued to walk in silence.

Sollus slowly eased himself back, picking his catch back up again he took off, flying with great speed back to the camp, he found it easily within a few minutes, already they had started a fire. He flew back quickly as the last sliver of the sun sank down beneath the skyline.

Sollus landed with a thud, happy to allow his cloudshift spell to fall off, free from the concentration his companions looked up with a start, eying his massive form as he began shaking his head slightly, his eyes glowing a faint purple as he mouthed some words. A faint circle around the entire camp formed, slowly it creeped upwards, its texture looking like that of a soapy water, constantly moving and shifting in a dazzling display as it caught the light of the fire, seeming to absorb the light itself it shimmered beautifully. Steadily the circle rose, moving upwards and leaning inward as at last it sealed. After a solid ten minutes or so of channeling the entire camp was within what to the inside appeared to be a giant soap bubble. Otto stood dumbfounded, his mouth hanging wide as he was entranced by the shifting color.

"Preeeety..." Randar, Alda, and even Zach stood as well, watching the spectacle before looking over at Sollus. Randar moved over to the dragon, who had lowered himself a bit laying down to fit within the bubble, his tail and wings held close to him as the glow in his eyes faded.

"Whats all this then Sollus, just giving us a show?" Sollus looked down at the human, nudging the deer at him which he slowly gathered up, hefting it over his shoulder as he still stared at the dragon who finally spoke.

"A group of humans from Temaria are looking for me, they want to kill me. This barrier I made is a veil the traps light from one side and projects what I want it to on the other side. Anyone can walk through it through, as it is merely an illusion. As long as they don't walk inside of it they will walk by, completely unaware of us." Randar grunted, Alda and Zach had walked up behind him as well, listening intently. Randar spat.

"Figures, it seems that even if you save them, some people are not going to let go of their hate. Surely they must know that they are no match for a dragon and three well trained warriors." Sollus nodded.

"they planned to find our camp, wait for us to sleep and kill us then, there are five of them, and one of them boasted to be an excellent marksman, killing whoever was on watch before the others crept in to finish the job." Alda made a disgusted face.

"Cowards...aye that might have worked if their marksman is as good as he claims." Sollus grunted.

"It is a risk I would obviously rather not take." Zach walked up and placed a hand on Sollus' snout, rubbing gently as the dragon rumbled.

"Can you hold a spell like this for this long? I know how difficult it can get for you." the giant creature nodded.

"Normally yes, but I had time to prepare. I was given enough time to channel so that this barrier can sustain itself without my constant assistance. It should last for at least ten hours, till morning." Randar sighed.

"Well, I hope they turn back then, lets see about getting this deer cooked up."

Otto who was still transfixed by the veil finally broke free at the promise of food, his eyes landing on the deer as Randar approached hanging it on a spike he embedded in the wall to set to work preparing the animal. Slitting its throat as he placed a bucket underneath. Walking back to the fire he sat down, everyone joining him as Zach sat down in front of Sollus, leaning back against the dragon who nuzzled him for a moment.

They sat for a time, sharing stories, Zach and Sollus talked about life in Temaria, as well as how they had met, their fight with the wolves. The Blackstones listened intently, Randar getting up occasionally to continue preparing the deer. Eventually he mounted it on the fire cleverly with some wood, the cuts of meat cooking slowly on the fire. It was the mercenaries' turn to tell stories, Sollus listened closely, he learned all about how Randar had formed the group, gathering skilled and disciplined mercenaries from the kingdom of Argoth, with the exception of Otto, who was from Tauv of the kingdom Thaladar. Both Alda and Randar were orphans who had grown up together in the military of Argoth, and viewed each other basically as brother and sister. Zaed and Lanzo were from Oessa, their real parents were killed by a dragon who had been living in an underwater cave in lake Milos, they were adopted by a farmer and his wife, but had trained themselves hard every day, eager for the opportunity to fight dragons and avenge their parents.

"I heard about them, how far they had come, their dedication, their discipline. They leaped at the opportunity to travel with me, their parents were a bit apprehensive, but they were grown men by then, free to choose their own path." Randar stared at the fire, grunting he raised himself, lifting the meat off of the rack to cool. "I am not looking forward to telling their parents that they died, I am ashamed." Alda placed a hand on his shoulder.

"They knew the risks, as did their parents, as did you. They will understand in time." Sollus remained silent, knowing of his role in this he elected to say nothing, it was not his place anyways. Randar looked up at the dragon.

"I will be sure however to tell them who it was that saved the rest of us, and the entire town of Temaria. Hopefully it will assuage them slightly. Besides, everyone deserves to hear how not all dragons are evil monsters." The human looked down, shaking his head. "Just like humans."

After all had eaten it was time to finally go to sleep. Despite the illusionary veil they all agreed to maintain the watch schedule, Sollus was first, along with Zach, then Alda, and Randar last. Given the veil Sollus elected to stay in his normal form, in case he needed to do quick spell casting to maintain it or alter it in some way. He suspected that Veimar would be passing soon, and he wanted to make sure they would not suspect a thing. The three Blackstones entered their tents, slowly drifting to sleep from a long day of traveling. Sollus looked down at Zach who nuzzled against him, the drake returned a lick down at his friend, his love. The human looked up at him.

"Sollus...is our relationship...wrong?" the dragon looked down at him incredulously.

"How could two souls who love each other be the wrong kind of relationship Zach?" the younger being nodded quietly, a hand rubbing along the dragon's paw, noting the tremendous difference.

"Its just that...you're a dragon. Big, powerful, wise...i'm just a human, how can we be together when we are so different?" Sollus breathed deeply and licked at Zach's hair.

"Different beings compliment each other well. To me you are a reminder that dragons and humans can live together in peace. You are the reason I fight Zach...my motivation." Zach smiled up at the dragon.

"And you are the same for me. We can show the world what dragons and humans can do, can be together." The dragons smiled back before lifting his head to look at the shimmering veil. The fire had died and the moon was higher in the sky now, the stars visible through the barrier twinkled visibly. Lighting the area with gentle light. Sollus enjoyed the sight for a time, not used to being outdoors this late, he idly wondered if he would be able to more often eventually.

Sollus perked his head up a bit, he heard voices approaching, no doubt Veimar and his men.

"Damn it all where are they! We should have seen a fire by now, we should have caught them!" the men groaned, clearly haggard from their journey. One in the back spoke up.

"Maybe they kept going through the night? Maybe they are still way ahead of us...we should head back, we didn't bring anything to make camp with..." Veimar turned on the man.

"Turn back?! If we miss them I'm heading to Argoth myself to warn the king, I wont let that dragon endanger more humans, he needs to be hunted down and killed just like all his kind!" By now the group had stopped along the road, just a short distance away from the veil. The others all looked at each other. One by one nodding. Finally Corbin spoke up.

"Give it up Veimar, we aren't catching them, for all we know the dragon flew them there, this isn't worth it, we are heading back. You are free to go on your fools errand to Argoth if you think a single guard will grant you an audience with the king based on some wild rumor of a dragon disguised as a man." Veimar stammered, roughly pushing the closest person back into the others.

"Cowards, all of you, afraid to do the right thing. Fine! Go back to Temaria with those other dragon loving bastards!" He roughly grabbed the torch, lighting it before turning on the others to head on down the road. They all looked at each other before turning around one of them commenting on what a monumental waste of time it was.

By now Randar had awoken from the shouting, he stood behind Sollus who noticed him with a nod.

"Should we hunt him down? He is alone and he has vowed to cause trouble for you. In my line of work you learn to not leave too many loose ends." Sollus grunted.

"He is an innocent man, misguided and dangerous, but still, innocent..." The mercenary next to him sighed, and shifted his weight.

"Not often I would want to do something more harsh than a dragon I suspect. Very well we'll leave him be. I suspect you will be seeing or hearing of him again however. Go ahead and sleep Sollus, ill take Alda's watch to make sure they don't come back and then sleep again." Sollus nodded and lay his head down, encircling Zach as he did so against his chest. Randar looked down at him with a light chuckle before walking off to stand watch.

"Sleep well my love." the dragon breathed deep as the human rubbed his snout back, the two drifting off to sleep together, the moon nearing the end of its reign.

Sollus awoke slowly, the light warming his body as he yawned, his tail flicking slightly as he cracked his eyes open, he looked down, a brief flash of surprise crossing his features as he didn't see Zach there, looking up he saw him helping Randar dismantle a tent, a sigh of relief escaped the dragon as he looked up, the barrier was still there, but he could feel its power waning, it had lasted just long enough, as he rose the others looked over at him and with a flick of his head the veil shattered like glass, flecks of what looked like snow falling before quickly dissipating. Otto clearly looked a bit disappointed, but he returned to packing just as quick. Randar approached.

"If this whole Kranoth thing goes south Sollus I'm sure you could pass for one hell of a mage at the college." The man adjusted his shield as he mounted it on his back. "This is where we separate I'm afraid, we must head north to Oessa. You should reach the capital by noon. Sollus I hope to the Gods you can fix this, I have my doubts but you have changed my life." the human bowed before the dragon. "I suspect I'll see you in the final battle, and hopefully we will both be standing at its end as well. Farewell." the other two mercenaries gave a quick nod to the dragon and his human friend as they walked off into the plains. They watched them walk off for a time until they were shadows walking along the hills. Sollus looked down at Zach.

"Shall we be off then? We have a lot ahead of us." Zach reached up, wordlessly pulling at the drake's muzzle till it was down to his own, kissing the dragon gently on the lips, Sollus replying with his own kiss, the dragon pulling back, blushing a bit. "Ahhh, and just what was that for my little friend?" Zach coughed a bit, wiping his mouth a bit.

"Oh, nothing, I just...well...it has been a while Sollus..." Sollus raised his eyebrows sharply, a grin crossing his features.

"Oh, so that's what you are up to...mmm?" the dragon leaned down, licking gently under the human's neck as he giggled " You shouldn't tempt a dragon...we can be quite...insistent once we get going..." the human simply responded by rubbing all over the dragon's snout, licking back again.

"Mmmm, how about a little privacy..." the dragon flicked his head, a single word uttered as the veil of illusion fell over the area once again. "I'm sure it will last long enough..." Lifting a forepaw the dragon carefully helped the human undo his vest and shirt, pulling them off till he stood with his bare chest showing. The dragon leaned forward, licking at the exposed chest and belly. The human gasped from the rough tongue.

"Haah! S-sollus, that tickles!" Zach fidgeted, working to undo his pants as he stripped off his belt. The dragon lowered his head with a glance into the human's eyes carefully pulling them down as well as they fell, the human stepping out of them, standing only in his undergarments. The dragon quickly moves his tongue up, rubbing teasingly at the Zach's belly before wiggling the muscle down and into the rim of the clothing, sneaking deeper he found what he was after, the human freezing for a moment as he inhaled sharply, his member hardening quickly against the giant tongue. Without a word Sollus smirked and tugged down the last bit of clothing the human now fully nude to the dragon who proceeded to press his thick tongue right against the human's arousal before quickly sucking it right into his maw, this thick tongue cushioning it in a bed of pleasure. the reaction from the human was immediate as he bucked hard into the loving maw.

"Haah, oh my God Sollus..." the dragon smiled to himself pleased at the response his efforts were creating, as he expertly used his tongue to pleasure the human. With a grunt Sollus realized that he was getting aroused himself, his slit splitting slowly as his own length began to push out, he fidgeted his hindpaws, planting them firmly as he spread his legs a bit, Moaning around the member in his mouth, vibrating his lover gently.

The vibration was all it took as the human felt his pleasure reach its peak with a hard gasp he bucked hard into the dragon's maw, his body seizing as he unloaded himself, the drake's tail wagging excessively as he drank all that his friend generously offered to him, pulling off he swallowed audibly. Zach was practically mush, but he could smell the drake's arousal peeking out, a pleasant scent that fogged his mind with lust, leaning to the side he looked between the dragon's legs, the thick organ throbbing lightly in the air.

"Mmm, go ahead my love..." Slowly the human walked underneath the dragon, crouching slightly he looked up at the dragon's member, the knot already swelling at the base. Easing forward he planted a kiss on the tip, catching a bit of the drake's flavor, a pleased rumble echoing above him as he set to work. Being too large to fit in his mouth he suckled at the tip, endlessly lapping up the dragon's pre as it leaked out to reward him, his hands lifting up to rub along the thick shaft.

Sollus was in heaven, the efforts of the human as if done by an expert, he bucked instinctively down at his friend, the tip pushing alongside his head as he turned to kiss and lick along the whole thing, a hand finding the base of his knot, he squeezed and rubbed all over it before licking at it as well.

"By the Gods..." the dragon found himself a bit pent up unsurprisingly as he felt his edge nearing much faster than he was expecting as well, it seemed he might fall over the edge just as quick as his lover. The human returned to the tip, his tongue working in concert with his mouth to bring his draconic friend the same pleasure.

"Mmmh!.. Zach...I'm so close..." The dragon lowered his head, squinting his eyes and gritting his teeth as he felt his release welling up within him, the human simply moaned, rubbing at the thick member and awaiting his reward eagerly. With a roar the drake bucked again, his tip splitting as a torrent of white essence flowed out, filling the human's mouth quickly before flowing down his face and chest, Zach swallowed as much as he could, sighing in pleasure as the dragon's release finally finished, a forepaw reaching up to urge the human back to his snout, as he licked all over the human, cleaning him up of the mess and kissing him lovingly.

"Mmmm, my sweet human..." Zach shivered slightly at the rough tongue, returning the kiss gently.

"My lovely dragon..." Sollus smiled down at him before stepping back, nuzzling the human's clothes back to him. As Zach dressed Sollus stretched his wings and neck, the last time he would be in his normal form for a while he suspected. Slowly he took on his transformation, shifting to his human guise, till he stood to everyone but a few people's eyes as a human once again. As Zach walked up to him he waved a hand and the veil shattered revealing the duo to the world once more.

As they walked along the road Sollus looked out with hope towards the spires of Argoth, towards their future, their quest, and towards the new horizon.
