This is a fanfic between My OC Lumus and Sajin Komamura from Bleach. I don't plan on writing any sex for a while, so this is mostly awkward relation stuff for now. I apologize for the terrible, nonsensical dialogue beforehand; I'm terrible at those in writing and in real life. Also, I am being intentionally vague on their past history together. I plan on this series taking place in three time periods (chapters). Here I will upload it each chapter separately, but on FA I will upload each chapter as one .doc file. Subsequently, that means I will probably upload to here first, and to FA when I am happy with that entire chapter (have things I probably change afterwords so that I makes since with the nest part. Only the adding stuff kind of retcon).

Chapter 1: Reunion

School makes a great nap time though. I normally ace anything involving kido or hand-to-hand combat, though my swordsmanship is ... subpar. Imagine a soul reaper who can't use his sword. I usually end up sleeping in those classes, which is how I ended up in a talk with my teacher.

"Why are you here?" he asked in an all too familiar tone. The normal response would be to look down, trying to avoid eye contact. But for me that wouldn't make things any better. I towered over everyone else, so looking down would just put my eyes in line with his.

I am a little over nine feet tall with dark red hair. I also am quite muscular. Not enough to win a body building competition, but enough to be somewhat intimidating. In retrospect, choosing this build was probably a bad idea for making friends. I have a have a beard, same color as my hair, that they tried to shave off, but I wouldn't let them. In terms of clothing, I am just wearing the standard uniform: blue under shirt, blue pants, white over shirt, socks, and sandals. The only thing unique is : blue under shirt, blue pants, white over shirt, socks, and sandals. The only thing unique is a pair of gauntlets. They tried to take them as well. They are the only things I have left from him.

I believe the only reason they're keeping me is because of what I can do. Not everybody performs kido during their entrance exam, after all. I am sure they keep me here so they can watch me; make sure I don't do anything dangerous.

Surprisingly they took to my size with almost no incident. I still remember when I giving my medical info, the nurse asked If I had a bother that went here. I had no idea what she was talking about. I remembered someone who was about my side, but he was to xenophobic to join. Not the "I hate everyone that's different" kind, but the "I would go outside, but there are people there" kind. I considered going with a smaller form, but if I ever want to show my real self, I think I should just get them used to my size first.

I didn't really have an answer for him. At least one that I am willing to tell to someone I don't know personally. I had joined to be of use. I was really good at breaking things, and even better at making people try to kill me. If someone's going to fight me, at least it would be a villain, of sorts.

"Well?" he asked again.

"I don't have an answer sir," I said.

He just sighed. ""I can't have you just sleeping thorough every one of my lectures. You're already a distraction. And you're not very subtle." That last part was not very truthful, but that's what being sneaky was about. If he knew how much contraband I had, I would be a terrible sneak. "Could you at least promise to stay awake tomorrow?"

"Yes sir."

"Fine then, you're dismissed."

"Thank you sir" A promise is really all we can do. I am near the top[ of my class, even though I am only paying attention roughly 12% of the time, so the sleeping isn't really part of the problem. He could send me to detention, but the overseer got tired of me fast. I think I got banned. I finished any work he gave me in half the time, and the rest of the time I just made fun of him or, again, slept. Sleeping during they day has always been much easier for me.

I left the room. One thing I don't miss about not living in buildings, not having to maneuver through doors. Afternoon classes ended for the day, so most students were just hanging around until Dinner. I always just went straight to my dorm.

But on the way I felt something familiar. It couldn't be. I quickly walked to the source, following my gut. This feeling, I think one of my teachers called it "Spiritual Pressure." All that I know is that I was adept at sensing it and manipulating mine since birth. Of course I didn't know what it was, or even that it even had a name. I just knew that I was good at finding people and not being found myself.

This particular feeling I haven't sensed in years. So warm, I knew it had to be him. I rounded the final corner and finally saw him. "Sajin!" I yelled at the man walking down the hall. Before he could turn around I had him on the floor locked in a hug. He was speechless. "I haven't seen you in forever!"

"I'm sorry, but I do not recognize you." He said. His voice was as deep as I remembered it. It just occurred to me that He hasn't seen me in this form before. He's the only person outside of my family that knows what I look like.

"It's me Lumus. I fished you out of that river over thirty years ago, remember?" I said after getting off of him, leaning back on my knees, I still leaning over him. If there was anyone around, I bet they would have flipped out at me tackling someone else.

"River?" he asked confused.

"Of course," I said defeated, "I make one friend and he forgets me. You seriously forgot me, my foxy friend" I said the last part more softly than the others, just in case someone might hear. Though the slit inn his helmet, I stared right into his eyes and changed mine to normal. My pupils changed from their "normal" round shape to their real slits, like a reptile's.

"He stared for a moment in shock. "Lumus, is that you?" he asked after a couple of minutes.

"Yup." I smiled. "What finally made it click?"

"Well, the eyes. You 're also the only person I know that would tackle a captain unprovoked." He said with a chuckle. He stood back up, knocking me back a little in the process. I forgot I was still hovering over him. "What are you doing here?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I retorted with pretend anger, getting off of the floor myself.

"I mean I would never think you would join the academy. Didn't you hate following orders?"

"Meh. I like having a bed. And plus, what's a better place for a monster than with monster slayers?" I joked. "Dude, we should totally hang out sometime. How about you buy me dinner Friday?"

"Why do I have to pay?"

"Because you're the one with a paycheck. You thought I was done mooching of you, didn't you?"

"He sighed. "Do you ever have money?"

"It's kinda hard when everyone is trying to 'kill the demon!' But seriously, did you know they don't pay us? Not even some spending money."

"I was a student here before."

"Damn. I just remembered that I have something to do at the library." So, I'll meet you Friday night." I started to leave, but then remembered a very important detail about our forced plans. "What squad are you in?"

"Seven." He Said with a "how did you not know?" tone.

"Kay!" I phased though his helmet and kissed him on his cheek. I missed this. He still smells the same, but personal scents rarely change anyways. I ran away already plotting our next encounter.
