David gasped as he stepped inside the deceptively huge club, dazzled and dasped as he stepped inside the deceptively huge club, dazzled anbd azed by the sudden onslaught of lights and sounds. His eardrums rang as the deafening dubstep boomed overhead, the bass magnified by separate speakers. All around him were other patrons: Gyrating, grinding, flirting, and dancing their troubles away. He would have lost all sense of direction if he had not held onto the wolf's smaller hand, the twink still leading both deeper into the building. David looked behind him and was filled with a sense of appreciation for the interior architecture. He had only just passed through a lobby of sorts, complete with its own mini-bar and two booths with pole dancers. It wasn't until he was past the lobby that he was able to fully comprehend the scope of the club he was in. The central area was filled with patrons, but its features were still easily distinguishable. The central area was two stories, each floor containing several dance floors and self-contained bars from what he could see. Various species of feminine pole dancers showcased their impressive skills. David couldn't help but stare in awe at their limberness.

"We only just got in and he's already gawping like mad," remarked the shark. The smaller wolf turned around, a huge grin on his muzzle.

"This, my new friend, is our highly respected club. Delicate Rounds shares very little similarity with our dainty little name. You can lose yourself in here far easier than any of the other establishments, but you will always have a great time." The wolf spread his arms and raised them above his head, adding to David's awe of the scene before him. Strobe lights of what seemed every conceivable color played off the edges of his vision, always prompting him to find their source and accompanying dancers. The middle portion of the club was shaped like a giant circle, with each corner of the room sectioned off by small walls for greater privacy. Several black glass chandeliers hung from the ceiling, pink crystals hanging from the bottom of each. Large buttresses and marble columns held up the second floor, where unseen activities eluded David's eyes. The faint sounds of moaning emanated from rooms on the second floor, no doubt higher paying patrons getting their rocks off with some of the many fantastically curvy dancers here.

"I see that you guys don't shy away from sex here either," joked David, a blush centered across his cheeks. Both the shark and wolf grinned at him in a sinister fashion.

"Why yes, my wolfy's employers like to ensure their guests will keep coming back again and again. They just have a couple rules you need to keep in mind," stated the shark in a cold tone, as if he had explained this more than once.

"Rule one is no drugs of any kind here that are dubbed illegal. If it's legal then just don't smoke it, snort it, or inject it on the dance floors or bars. You do that shit in a private room or booth," continued the wolf, centering his eyes on David once again. The orca felt as if his very thoughts were being filed through. "Rule two is no fucking on the dance floors, poles, or bars. If you want to get lucky then you get a room here, we have lots of them." The wolf circled around the orca, taking stock of David's physique whilst the shark had his eyes fixated on nearby dancers. The orca had the feeling that the wolf was just going through the ropes of a speech he had long since memorized. "And now the third rule," he continued. "There is to be no violence of any kind, which means sexual either. Domming is all well and good but punching someone in the face for a quick hard-on does not fly here. You want to indulge in that then go to that kinkier BDSM club. Those are the major rules, the ones we actually enforce. Will you comply with them?" The wolf had his hands on his hips, his head cocked to the side, tapping a foot on the ground expectantly.

David nodded quickly, "Yes, I fully understand. I don't plan on causing any trouble around here; though I do have to wonder if you've ever had any serious problems here with other patrons." The wolf considered his question carefully whilst his boyfriend wandered over to a nearby bar counter. David felt as if he had just dug up something that was better left buried.

"We've had a few sickos try and rape a few of our dancers, myself included. A huge amount of pent up males come here for booze, ass, and music. Sometimes one of them doesn't know how to keep their urges in check," spoke the wolf as he grinned. "And the last guy who tried that with me ended up with a few things missing below the waist." The orca gulped and tried his best not to imagine what that meant, though he had a perfectly clear idea. An awkward silence settled until the shark came back, holding three small glasses as best he could. He offered one to the wolf first, then to David. The orca happily obliged, sipping some immediately and relishing the flavor. The wolf giggled at him girlishly and tapped his glass against his partner's.

"Absolut Vodka, cotton candy flavoring, with a dash of black cherry and gin," stated David, nailing the concoction's ingredients to a tee. The shark nodded and smiled, duly impressed with David's expertise.

"You must have a knack for mixing drinks if you could decipher the ingredients so quickly."

"Aye," agreed the orca, "I used to be a bartender." The wolf cocked his head quizzically.

"Why did you quit then?" The orca laughed and shook his head.

"Quit that? Hell no! More like I was fired for breaking a bottle of very expensive wine over an unruly asshole's head." The shark and the wolf shared a long gaze before bursting out into laughter.

"You got fired for that? Hell David, I've forgotten the number of times I've had my shark here teach someone better manners when they tried getting too friendly. There are no restrictions

about defending yourself here. If someone threatens you first, feel free to fuck them up. Just try and keep blood off the flooring, it's expensive to maintain." David snickered and eyed his empty glass, thirsty for more mixed drinks.

"Guys I think I'm gonna hit the bar; one drink is never enough for me to get loosened up." The shark stepped forward and tapped his chest lightly.

"Well David I hope you enjoy yourself here, if you need company then ask around for Lysan or Nikolai. I'm Nikolai by the way." Both of them shook hands, the orca glad to finally know both of their names. The wolf bowed gracefully, an unorthodox farewell for David to see. The couple gave him one last glance before they disappeared into the gyrating, bouncing crowds of people. David held his glass tight and walked over to the nearest bar counter, settling onto a deceptively comfortable stool. The bartender was a real hottie, a red furred fox with streaks of pink in his hair and glittering blue lips.

"Hey there cutie, what can I get for you tonight?" spoke the fox softly, a burning glint of curiosity in his eyes. The orca hesitated, feeling as if he was being eyed up again by others around him.

"Have anything with Absinthe being the most prominent spirit?" inquired the orca, knowing better than to doubt otherwise. The fox chuckled and tilted his head back to the well-stocked shelves behind him.

"Darlin', if you can dream it I can fix it." David noticed a hint of invitation in the fox's words. Even though he wasn't looking for a temporary hookup, he couldn't lie that the thought had not crossed his mind. The fox was built almost as feminine as they come, with long, flowing blonde hair streaked with pink in various places, painted claws, various bracelets, a set of matching earrings, extremely tight fitting shorts and a low cut tank-top. Obviously a cross-dresser if he'd ever seen one. He looked too young to be bartending, but that was partially due to the makeup. The way he stood, with a paw on his hip and one foot over the other, only further cemented what David thought about him. This fox was flaming gay, and he loved every bit of it.

"Alright then, let's see." David looked at the vast collection of different liqueurs, wines, champagne, and beers behind the gorgeous bartender. The sheer array of colors was dazzling, and the orca quickly wondered how long it had taken the fox to memorize where everything was located. "I'll have a Chrysanthemum."

"Ahh, good choice. Not too many people order that around here without expecting to end up on the floor at some point," stated the fox as he smiled widely, spinning on his heel to face his collection of drinks. The fox grabbed a martini glass and opened one of several small iceboxes under the counter, scooping out and pouring one cup's worth of ice into the glass. As he

worked David recited the recipe in his head, wondering how closely the fox would follow it. He first started by taking a bottle of Vieux Pontarlier, a French brand of Absinthe, and pouring only a teaspoon worth of the sought after liqueur onto the ice. He then followed that up with two tablespoons of Benedictine liqueur, two ounces of dry vermouth, and then finally topping off the concoction with one thin strip of orange peel. The fox grinned and placed the glass delicately in front of the orca, winking at him intently.

"Hope it's to your taste hot stuff." The orca leaned back and stared at the drink, surprised at the speed and accuracy with which the bartender had mixed his drink to its exact specifications. The fox frowned and crossed his arms as he noticed his customer's reaction. "Okay, what did I do wrong?"

"Nothing! It's absolutely perfect; I'm just surprised by how efficiently you mixed everything. Hell I can't even mix one that fast!" The orca grabbed his glass and gulped his drink down in a few moments, surprising even the fox himself.

"Wow, you have a taste for the heavy shit, eh?" asked the feminine bartender, his eyelids raised in mild amusement. David nodded and pushed the empty glass back towards the fox, far from done.

"May I have two more of those please? It's going to take more than that to get me tipsy." They both laughed and the fox grabbed the glass, spinning around with agility that David had not seen before. He quickly set about crafting another concoction, nabbing another glass for the third drink. David found his eyes slowly drifting to the lithe male's supple backside. His jeans were form fitting and the legs had been cut, letting all within viewing distance see his smooth-furred legs. The poorly hidden strings of a pink thong clung to his shapely hips, enticing any customers to tip the little show-off well. The orca's heart rate had increased exponentially as he imagined all the things he might do with this little twink if he played his cards right. In the back of his mind a voice kept telling him the folly of his behavior, how it would only lead to more heartbreak and misery. Memories of passionate nights that led to negligible personal fulfillment surfaced once again, causing a scowl to creep across his face. Timothy, Antione, Derek, Seres, Veruct, Daniel, Nemehk, Jonathan, and several others were names of those he knew intimately, but never got a chance to know personally. What was wrong with him? Why was he just a piece of meat to be admired? Why could he not find anyone who would stick after a few nights? He clenched his fists tightly, his courage fading away along with his desire to even be in this place. The blarinaceire to even be hereg music had become a dull beat in his mind, barely even noticeable as he focused inwards. Voices around him faded into white noise, everything else becoming irrelevant. He remembered something important that Jav had told him, something that had always bothered him.

"If you cannot respect yourself then do not expect others to do the same for you."

A sudden tap on the counter caused him to raise his head, staring directly into the emerald eyes of the fox. He almost felt like he was having his mind read, staring in silence right back at him. He was leaning over the counter, a drink to either side of his elbows.

"I can usually tell when someone is not having a good day, and you seem to be having a terrible one. Come on, tell me what's wrong." The orca was surprised by the fox's perceptiveness, especially in this loud environment. He picked up one of the drinks and pressed the rim of the glass to his lips, pausing before he downed it to look into the fox's eyes once more. They seemed to be filled with legitimate concern; he just had to cherry-pick what he was going to tell him.

"To be perfectly honest...' began the orca, pausing as he carefully planned out what he was going to say next, 'I'm quite lonely. Let's just say a few events in my life have left me a little emotionally distant or even let's say...unstable at times." The fox nodded and giggled, rolling his eyes.

"You just described just about every other patron in this little club sweetheart. Tell you what though, if you lay out everything for me and come clean with me then those drinks are on the house." The orca considered the offer and straightened his posture, turning around to take stock of his surroundings. More people had moved onto the main dance floor, an ocean of gyrating bodies presented before him. The music came back in full force, blasting its way inside his skull. A mix of dub-step and electronica poured forth from many speakers hidden throughout the building, providing a never-ending aural assault. David closed his eyes and turned back around, cancelling out the noise as best he could.

"Can we talk about this somewhere a little more solitary?" asked the orca, uncomfortable at the idea of spilling private details about his life with so many others around him. The fox shook his head and tapped a claw upon the gleaming surface of the bar.

"Not allowed to leave this area with a customer in tow unless I get special permission. They don't want the patrons fucking the bartenders, hard to serve drinks with a cock in your ass," the fox paused momentarily before adding, "At least for some people." The orca found himself laughing at that sentiment, he was truly beginning to appreciate the company of this witty fox.

"Fair enough, I don't think anyone really cares what we are talking about anyways." Before he could say any more a few club-goers stepped up to the bar, diverting the attention of the fox. David leaned against the counter and studied the newcomers who had interrupted his confession. One was a short cat clad in tight-fitting leather and sporting a face full of piercings, the second was a well-built dragon with orange scales and green markings easily scene through

his open jacket, his chest bare for all to see; the final one was an usually tall chameleon with several odd scars across his face, David also noticed that the very tip of his tail was missing. All three of them ordered their drinks quickly, the fox memorizing them effortlessly and beginning his work. The feline and dragon talked to each other and sat on the barstools whilst the chameleon seemed intent on staring at the fox. "Obnoxious," David thought to himself, wondering just how often the twinkish bartender had to deal with leering customers who wanted more than just a drink. Part of him also considered the possibility that the fox might be a total voyeur. Whatever the truth of it was, the orca still did not like the look of the chameleon, he seemed very...damaged. Just being around the guy made him very uncomfortable, and the fox seemed keen on keeping his distance. The creep's compatriots seemed unfazed by his stature, though the cat turned to meet his gaze.

"A little odd isn't he?" asked the feline, taking David by surprise.

"Beg your pardon?" responded the orca, stunned by his blunt question. Had he really been that easy to read? The cat tilted his head in the direction of his supposed friend, smiling in a manner that made David feel a tad awkward. He shuddered as one of the chameleon's stereoscopic eyes flicked in his direction, flicking back to the fox just as quickly.

The feline chuckled tapped his colored claws on the counter, "I'm hoping he behaves himself, he's been kicked out of three clubs now for rowdy behavior. My draconic friend and I enjoy this place; hopefully we'll get to stay here if the green giant over there decides to play nice." David cocked a brow and frowned, hoping that no such incident would sully his night. The fox turned back around and placed three well-crafted drinks on the counter, putting on his best smile for the three patrons. The feline and dragon paid immediately, however the chameleon gripped the glass firmly and pulled it over. The bartender grimaced and grabbed the top, his strength surprising given his feminine frame.

"Sorry darlin', no free drinks here," stated the fox firmly, keeping his tone in check. The chameleon grinned in a fashion which sent chills down David's spine. The reptile pulled a little harder, nearly yanking the bartender over the counter. There was something in his expression and posture that seemed familiar to David, something he had seen before. The chameleon's friends looked very uncomfortable, appealing to him to just pay and walk. He wouldn't budge and continued to stare down the determined fox.

"I'd like to pay for this in a different way," finally spoke the reptile, his words heavy and deliberate. The fox blinked as if he had misunderstood the statement, slowly baring his teeth as he realized the nature of this patron's words.

The fox shook his head angrily and locked eyes with the troublemaker, fully intent on standing his ground. "I don't accept payment in that method from just anyone, especially someone like you." The chameleon's grin widened as he was challenged, tugging harder on the glass now. David could see that the fox would be yanked over the counter if he went unassisted. The orca had hoped to have an uneventful night devoid of confrontation, but judging by the struggle unfolding before him that possibility continued to shrink. He clenched his fists and stepped forwards, determined to aid his new friend and disarm the situation before it escalated further. "Hey!" he yelled, though the reptile's gaze was still centered on the bartender. "Leave him alone and just pay like the rest of us. What makes you think you can bully him?" David partially regretted his words as the chameleon craned his neck and stared at him with both of those enlarged eyes, unblinking and deathly devoid of compassion. He released the drink suddenly, the fox falling backwards onto the floor. The reptile turned to face him and David saw that the grin was still there. He realized in one moment why all the alarms in his head had been going off since he laid eyes on this person, a realization that chilled him to the core. He had just confronted a psychopath.
