No one said a word as the trio walked through the torch lit halls, and up a flight of stairs into the main castle. The feeling of complete mobility was still weird to both felines after spending so much time in bondage. It was almost unreal to them just how much their lives had changed. Luck looked this way and that, taking in her surroundings as thoroughly as she could. She noticed that there were no guards in the halls and the idea flashed through her mind to take Sly out now and run with Maneki. "I wouldn't do that Kitten. I know what you're thinking, and it would be a bad idea." said Sly suddenly, snapping her thoughts back to reality and making her gasp in surprise. "H-How did you..." "Master can sense our feelings through one of the runes in our collars. See the symbols on his ears? We're connected to him now by those." explained Maneki in a whisper, cutting off Luck and pointing at the wolfox's ears. "Thank you for explaining Kitty." said Sly, his ears twitching softly. "So you know our every move before we make it. Maneki mentioned that you knew she would try to kill you too. What do the other runes do?" asked Luck angrily. "All in good time Kitten. I'll tell you in a little while. There's no use hiding their purposes." he said nonchalantly as he turned the next corner.

Around the next corner stood at attention the first pair of guards Luck has seen since she came down into the cellar. Seeing the trio approaching the guards snickered to themselves softly. "Good evening Master Sly. So these are the two feline thieves you asked the guards to ignore? I see you've collared both of them." said one of the guards looking both felines up and down. At this point both Maneki and Luck realize that they are still nude save for their collars and tail cuffs and try to cover themselves from the males prying eyes. "Yes Captain. They are going to be my obedient pets from now on. Isn't that right girls?" asked Sly toward the now blushing felines. "Y-Yes Master..." "Yes...Master..." replied Maneki and Luck respectively, still covering their bodies embarrassed. "I've uh...been hearing a few...rumors going around with a few of the guards recently about your new...pets. They say that you were coming up with a special...rule about them. If it's true I was asked to confirm with you if it would be anything like the arrangement you have between your maids and we guards." said the captain next, his eyes flashing interest. "Ah I had a feeling that this question would come up. Yes I do have a special arrangement that allows...fraternization between the guards and maids on my staff in their off time, and I can see why the men would have taken an interest in my new pets. And with their rowdy personalities if I don't clarify something about it, they're likely to take matters into their own hands if I leave them long enough." said Sly thoughtfully. Maneki and Luck looked worriedly at each other. Things could very easily go in a direction that neither of them wanted now. "So what will become of these...lovely ladies sir?" asked the captain, turning a lustful eye back toward Maneki and Luck now, they barely holding themselves from hissing threateningly at him. "Here is what I have decided on the matter. The guards are free to continue fraternizing with CONSENTING maids. Maneki and Luck, as my pets are off limits to anyone but me. If ANY guard decides against that and tries to force themselves on either of them, my pets have full permission to dispatch them in any way they see fit." said Sly seriously to the male, snapping his attention to himself. Maneki and Luck looked shocked toward Sly quickly after hearing his words. The captain swallowed a bit audibly at the look in Sly's eyes and the tone of his voice before collecting himself. "I-I will inform the men." he replied, giving a salute, quickly followed by the guard at his right. "Good man. Have a pleasant evening Captain." said Sly walking off, Maneki and Luck right behind him.

"What was that all about Master?" asked Maneki as they went, her curiosity getting the better of her. "That was Adam, the captain of my guards here. He's a tough soldier but he tends to have trouble sometimes drawing the line between right and wrong when it comes to getting something he wants. As you heard him say I do allow sex between my maids and guards as long as neither party is on duty, but both parties have to completely consent as well. He has been known to try to coerce newer maids by telling them that it's a requirement of their duties. I'm sure you saw the side looks he was giving both of you. The question he was "asked to ask" was no one's but his own. He was asking if he personally could get sexual favors from one or both of you. Fortunately for you two I'm selfish." explained Sly calmly. Maneki sighed to herself relieved. It was bad enough knowing that Sly himself would eventually start using them that way, but to be at the mercy of every guard in the castle, she didn't think she could handle that. "I'm surprised that you turned him down. I fully expected you to oblige his request, be it for himself, or for every guard in the castle." said Luck to Maneki's surprise. The calico looked at her partner in shock, wondering what could be going through her mind to suggest such a thing. "Oh? And would you have enjoyed that Kitten? Being the plaything of every lustful guard in the castle? Perhaps your time with the Bomke has rubbed off on you." asked Sly shooting a backwards glance at her, stopping her in her tracks. "N-No. I was just thinking that if you did it would free me from your stupid contract." replied Luck, a light blush across her face as her mind travelled back to the punishment she was released from not long ago. "Ah yes. The stipulation of me treating you with any purely malicious intent. Good thinking, but not thorough. What if I decided to only throw you to the guards so to speak as a punishment? Would you still count that as purely malicious intent? I wouldn't, and neither would your contract because it would be for a reason." said Sly seriously. Luck's ears drooped at his explanation. It wasn't going to be as easy as she first thought to get out of his contract. He was a bit more shrewd than she'd given him credit for. "Well Kitten? Would you rather I hand you over to him and/or the other guards as punishment next time?" asked Sly, catching her attention, her breath catching in her throat suddenly. "N-No...Master...I wouldn't." she replied truthfully. As bad as her experience with the Bomke was, it was better than being forced to be the plaything of countless horny males. Sly nodded at her response and gave her the faintest of smirks as he turned to continue on. Luck gritted her teeth softly as she and Maneki continued after him. He had her in the palm of his hand and he knew it, even when she was trying to aggravate and take him off guard he'd managed to turn it around on her.

"Um...Master...Will we be...naked all the time?" came Maneki's timid voice now. She was looking around and noticing a definite increase in guard activity for the first time since she had been brought here. "No kitty. I will give you both clothes in due time. But they are not needed for now." he replied calmly. Maneki sighed to herself upon hearing these words. She was happy to hear that she would not be perpetually nude. Luck on the other hand was not so happy. Sure it meant that they'd eventually be clothed, but it also meant that for the time being he was content with parading them around as trophies to his guards and maids since he'd decreed that they couldn't be touched by anyone but him. It's all another way to remind the two thieves of his dominance and ownership over them, and she hated it. "Keep the attitude up Kitten and you'll find yourself with no dinner tonight." said Sly over his shoulder, reminding her that he could sense her negative feelings right now. Luck growled lightly under her breath at the comment. This was too much. He had no right to treat either of them this way, and she was not going to take this abuse. Her fists shook at her sides as her anger grew, her claws slowly slipping out into them. All she would need is a couple of short seconds. A simple rake across his neck, or puncture of one of his vital areas would do nicely. Maybe she should take out the pervert's crotch first and make him suffer. These thoughts passed through her mind as a small smirk crossed her lips. A light touch on her arm caught her attention and brought her suddenly back to reality. She turned quickly to see Maneki lightly holding her arm. There was a look of sympathetic chiding in her eyes. Luck's breathing slowed a little at the look the calico was giving her. Even without words, she knew exactly what Maneki wanted to tell her, and she was right. She returned an uneasy smile to Maneki to show that she'd calmed down a bit. Maneki sighed a bit on the inside. "That was close. Lucky has always been short tempered, and really quick to anger. But anger and defiance will only hurt her here. He can feel her emotions, so he'll be warned of any attack attempt she would make. He's already warned me that future attack attempts would only net me punishment. I don't want to have to watch her be punished again. Even so...This will not be an easy thing for her to get used to." thought the calico to herself as they continued. Sly breathed a sigh of relief himself. "It seems that Maneki is going to be a key factor in keeping Luck calm and out of trouble. If she hadn't stopped her, I would have had no choice but to show them the runic deterrent in their collars firsthand." he thought as his fingers relaxed, they already halfway to the seal sign that would activate the rune in her collar.

"Ah Master Sly. I hope you're hungry. We prepared the extra amount of food you asked for this evening as well. At first I was worried that you would not be able to eat it all, but now that I see your guests I understand. The amount should accommodate you all." said a lynx maid standing before the large doorway into the dining room. She was wearing a standard maid outfit but a few slits in the fabric to make her stand out a bit more as well as make her look sexier. As with all of the maids she also wore a cloth choker around her neck. She had beige and white fur with dark brown socks and glove patterns in her fur and on her ears. Her purple eyes focused on the two thieves for a moment before turning back to the male. "Thank you Alice. Is everything ready?" asked the wolfox coming to a stop before her. "Yes Master. Tonight's meal is hot, and ready for consumption." she said turning to lead the three into the room. A few maids roved quickly around the large dining table placing last minute touches here and there. They bowed to Sly upon his entrance and briskly took their leave. "Roast beef, baked chicken, succulent baked potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, rice, and a small assortment of breads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. You weren't specific on what you wanted so I had the chefs cover a small variety. I do hope that everything is to your liking." she said with a bow. "Thank you very much Alice. It all looks delicious. Give my thanks and my compliments to the chefs as well." replied Sly. "I will. Would you like any music while you dine?" asked the lynx with a small blush, happy that he was pleased by the spread. "No thank you. My pets and I have a great deal to talk about. We would just like some privacy." he replied. "Of course. Enjoy your meal Master." said Alice turning to leave, the large doors into the room closing behind her by the guards posted outside. "Food looks good. Wouldn't you both agree?" asked the male before he turned to see the looks on the two feline's faces. Maneki and Luck both stood awestruck, jaws slack and slightly drooling at the look of the piping hot food. "I take it you both approve of the dishes. Well don't just stand there gawking. Help yourselves." he replied taking his seat. Maneki and Luck turned to look at each other. Neither knew what to say. They had never seen such a spread before and been invited to actually eat. Cautiously they stepped up to the table and grabbed plates. "What; are you afraid of it? I promise there is nothing to be afraid of." said Sly already putting food on his own plate. Maneki was the first to move, her stomach having reminded her again of its need. Luck sighed a little, resigning herself to follow suit.

Minutes passed in silence as the trio ate the prepared food. Maneki and Luck had been a bit apprehensive and hesitant at first, but as soon as they began eating they found that the taste of the food urged them to continue, they eating greedily. Sly ate a bit more calmly, going over in his mind what he wanted to talk to the pair about. But first he decided that he would need to break the ice between them all. "You two seem to be harboring some animosity against me. And I can't say I blame either of you for it. But seeing as you will both be living here now let's get a few things out in the open. Go ahead and ask any questions you have. They can be about me, the castle, its other inhabitants, your situation. Anything. I have nothing to hide." he offered. "Why did you capture us?" asked Luck quickly, swallowing a piece of roast beef. "I thought that this question was already answered. As I said before; it was because I was contracted to do so by the mayor of Locke Village to the east. You two plundered the town for two years and the citizens were tired of it. So they contacted me to take care of you." answered Sly. "Are the other maids also people you've trapped this way Master?" asked Maneki next. "No. All of the maids and guards you see roaming the castle were hired by me to protect and tend to my castle, myself, and my guests. They are paid wages and while it's modest, if they choose to, they live here in barracks on the castle grounds." explained Sly taking a drink of water from his glass. "What are the runes you've placed on our collars?" asked Luck seriously, thinking back to the glowing symbols on the inside of her collar. "I knew this would come up, and I am happy it did. There are six runes encircling the inside of your collars and tail cuffs, and each has a specific purpose. The first is the 'Rune of Binding.' It ensures that the only person that can remove your collars or cuffs is me; as I'm the one that put them on you. The second is the 'Rune of Fatigue'. When control collars are made they are typically set up to keep the wearer in a specific vicinity or place. Your situation is no different. This rune is set up to stay in the proximity of a specially set point or 'totem'. As long as you stay within the set vicinity to your totem it will not activate. Its effect is that once you leave the vicinity of the 'totem' a timer begins on the rune; activating it if the distance from your totem is not restored within twelve hours. The rune itself will drain you of your energy steadily, eventually taking more than your body can produce and reducing you to a quivering helpless mass until I or someone else finds you. I'll let you decide which would be worse." he explained, keeping his eyes trained on the two females. "And what is our totem?" asked Luck curiously. "Ordinarily this information is kept secret from the wearer to keep them from running off with their totem, but it is important to know for you two. Besides it doesn't matter if you do know. Your totem is me, my body. Your limit is one mile. So as long as you are on the castle grounds and I am as well, the rune will not activate. The third rune is the 'Rune of Exhaustion'. It is an instant version of the previous rune. It will instantaneously zap your body of all of its energy and render you unable to move until energy is restored. It can take a couple of hours for your bodies to generate enough energy to move freely again if this rune was to be activated. Keep this in mind before you're tempted to do anything out of line such as try to attack me." he said, looking back and forth between the two now. "We got it, because you'll know what we're going to do." said Luck annoyed. "Yes, as is the effect of the fourth rune; the 'Rune of Empathy'. I am connected to your feelings and can feel them emanating from you via these connecting runes on the tips of my ears. One is for each of you. Anger, happiness, sadness, fear, bloodlust, all of your strong feelings are broadcast to me through this rune. The fifth rune is a last second addition. In fact only Luck's has this rune at the moment. I will add it to yours later Kitty. The 'Rune of Tracking' will let me know where you are at all times, at least what direction and distance you are in relation to my own position. It became apparent that this rune would be needed after today's little event." he said. Maneki froze for a second, thinking back on the day's emergency, and how he'd told her that he wouldn't have found her in time if it had not been for Amber. "Y-Yes Master." she said softly, inwardly happy he was adding the rune to her collar.

"And what's the last rune?" asked Luck impatiently. She did not like the setup of the runes, but at least none of them were deadly. "The last rune is one that is shared among all of the maids that work and live here as well. You'll notice that they all wear cloth choker type collars. Embedded on them is the 'Rune of Contraception'. While it is active you cannot get pregnant." he said with a smirk that pissed Luck off to no end. "Listen you son of a..." "Master...Is that really the only reason you captured us? You mentioned before that the village wanted us gone, and that you'd received information on us. Why do all of this? I don't think that you'd go through all this trouble to gain new sex slaves when you have maids perfectly willing to do this for you. Why did you take us alive rather than kill us? It wasn't a last minute decision. It's obvious that you had planned to do so from the beginning." said Maneki at first timidly, but more pronounced as she spoke. "I knew you were sharp the night I first saw you Kitty. Yes I planned to capture you both alive. Truth be told I need to ask for your help in obtaining something." said Sly seriously to the surprise of both females. Maneki and Luck looked at each other confused for a moment. This was an unexpected twist. The sound of fire crackling overshadowed the silence in the room as the two nodded to each other and turned back toward the male, intrigued. "By 'obtain' I assume you mean..." "Yes Kitty. I have a job for you two; something that requires your combined unique skills." replied Sly, cutting off Maneki and continuing. "An old colleague of mine has a very important item, a gemstone that I need stolen." explained Sly. "You want us to steal this gem for you? Sounds risky. Is this what you enslaved us for? To force us to do this because it's too dangerous to do yourself?" asked Luck quickly. "Quite the contrary. The danger involved will be at a minimal, only provided by his guards. Runic security won't be a problem as I provided it." said Sly with a smirk. "You provided the security? What's to stop this friend of yours from suspecting that you stole it or had it stolen?" asked Luck next. "Simple. The man has been receiving numerous announcements that he is the target of the local bandits and thieves. They will take the blame for the theft." replied Sly. Luck only leaned back in her chair in response to all she's heard, not sure what to make of it yet. "What are you thinking Kitty? You've been very quiet." said Sly towards Maneki now. "You said that you provided the runic security, and that the victim has been receiving threats lately. That sounds a lot like..." "You are correct. When I said old colleague before I should have said ex colleague since I will have nothing more to do with Lord Bartholomew." explained Sly seriously cutting her off again. "And this gem you want us to steal is important to him?" asked Maneki, a small gleam in her eye. "Very. It's one of the most precious possessions he owns." replied Sly. "Alright. I'll do it." said Maneki seriously. Luck looked at Maneki quickly, confused. She'd never known the calico to get that particular gleam in her eye. She really wanted to do this. How does she know this Bartholomew person? And what did he do to earn her scorn? "Well if 'Neki is in then I'll have to go too." said Luck dismissively. "Glad to hear that you're both on board. Though as you are both aware, my asking was only a formality." he replied with a smirk. Luck only scoffed at the notion before going back to her food. "When will this take place Master?" asked Maneki curiously. "Soon. A few preparations still have to be made, and you both need to be prepped on the details. But that can wait. I've given you both more than enough to think about tonight. For now let's finish eating." said the male as the trio awkwardly settled back down into eating.

The candles on the table were more than half melted before all of the food was gone. Sly, Maneki, and Luck all sat back, full and relaxed. "What did you both think of the meal?" asked Sly curiously. "Everything was delicious Master. The best meal I've ever eaten." replied Maneki truthfully. "It was alright." chimed in Luck next. "Alright huh? Is that why you have more bones on your plate than anyone else then Kitten?" asked Sly with a smirk. "It was good okay?" admitted Luck after. "Was that so hard?" asked Sly mockingly. Luck only turned to look toward Maneki and was surprised to see her head bowed toward the male. "Thank you Master for the delicious meal." said the calico solemnly. "You are welcome Kitty. Well Kitten?" said Sly expectively towards Luck now. Luck looked a little apprehensive at the notion. "I excused you from asking to be allowed to join me for dinner because I knew you would be uncomfortable doing so, but I will not overlook a lack of manners." he said sternly. Luck sighed softly as she looked back at the wolfox. Slowly she bowed her head forward to match her friend. "Thank you...For the meal." she replied. "You are welcome as well Kitten. I am glad you both enjoyed it. Now it's late. Come with me and I'll show you where you'll be sleeping tonight." said Sly standing. Maneki and Luck followed suit, standing and following him as he turned to leave.

They walked down a couple of long halls, and Maneki's spirits lifted as she recognized the area. Sly was leading them toward the room he had first had her sleep in. The castle was large, and after a few more turns they arrived at a small hall of doors. "Here we are. One of my guest rooms." he said turning toward one door. He opened it to reveal the nice sized room. Simple furnishings adorned it. A simple bed, a desk and chair, a trunk, a dresser with mirror, and a bookcase were the main attractions. Curtains, and a rug added to the décor. "This is where we'll be sleeping?" asked Luck curiously. "You're half right. This is where YOU will be sleeping tonight Kitten." said Sly. "W-what? What about 'Neki?" asked Luck quickly. "As you'll notice, and she'll remember, there is only one bed in this room, and it's only big enough for one person comfortably. So I won't be putting you both in here. Maneki will be warming my bed again tonight. Is that understood Kitty?" replied Sly first to Luck, then to Maneki, who closed her eyes and nodded after hearing his words, having half expected this. "Yes Master." she replied softly. "Warming your...What the fuck are you..." "As for you Kitten. I let it slide today as it's your first day as my pet, but don't think I didn't notice that you stopped addressing me properly after we left the dungeon. I expect you to address me with my proper title when you speak to me. Otherwise I will be forced to implement measures to help you remember to do so. Am I clear?" he asked seriously, cutting Luck off next. Luck shrank back a little at the seriousness in his voice. "Y...Yes...Master" she replied. "Good. Now you must be tired from today, I suggest you get some sleep. I will not bind you, but there will be two guards posted outside this room. I don't want you wandering the castle alone." he said just as seriously. "Alright alright. I get it. Can I get some sleep now...Master?" replied Luck exasperated, almost forgetting his title. "Goodnight Kitten." replied Sly, satisfied that his rules had been understood. "Goodnight Master...Goodnight 'Neki." said Luck. "Good night Lucky" said Maneki a little sadly as the door closed, separating the two again.

Sly and Maneki reached his chambers within a few minutes. As before there were two guards posted outside. "Good evening gentlemen. Please tell your captain that I want two guards posted outside guestroom three until I give the okay to stand down. I will send specific orders later." he said as he stepped in through the open doors. "Yes Master Sly." said both guards simultaneously as they closed the doors. "This has been an eventful day hasn't it Kitty?" he asked passively. "Yes Master." she replied, still a little somberness heard in her voice. "You seem sad. I would think that you'd be happy your partner is not being punished for how she's acted today." said Sly. "I-I am Master. And thank you for being lenient on Lucky. Please continue to be so. She'll adjust...It'll just take her a bit longer." said Maneki quickly. "You seem to be personally invested in helping her along I've noticed." he said. "Well...I've known her most of my life. She's closer than a sister to me. So I know that this goes against her personality, but I...I don't want to have to watch her be punished again for it." said Maneki truthfully. "You two are very close. I can see how you've managed to survive together up till now. You have the utmost trust and respect in and for each other. But she needs to learn just as you have, that things don't work here as they have out there. You both are my pets now, and she's going to have to accept that." he replied, pouring a glass of wine from a glass container. "I understand Master." replied Maneki watching him. She was a little apprehensive of being alone with him again, but he had said that she would be "warming his bed" again. She didn't think he was going to try anything with her. "Would you like a drink Kitty? You've been through a lot today. It'll help you relax." he asked, showing her an empty glass. "N-No. Thank you Master." she replied. "Very well. It's late. You may head to sleep now if you wish. I will be drawing up the plans for the heist on Bartholomew's Castle." he replied, taking a sip from his own glass and walking over to his desk. "Thank you Master." she replied crawling up into the bed. When she lay down she realized just how much had been taken out of her today. The stress of being at Bartholomew's Castle, the dread of almost being tortured and raped, the long carriage rides to and from the castle, hearing Luck sign her life and body over in Sly's service, being shown that she can be made to enjoy sexual submission and anal penetration, and trying to keep Luck from getting herself punished again had taken its toll on her, and she was tired. She could feel the exhaustion pulling her deeper and deeper toward sleep quickly. "Master...When will the heist take place?" asked Maneki curiously. "Tomorrow night. I will fill you and Luck in on the details before you set out." he replied. "Bartholomew said that I was nothing more than property; a slave. But you've referred to both me and Luck as "pets" repeatedly. Is there really a difference between the two?" asked Maneki, barely hanging on to consciousness, a lingering thought begged that she ask. "Of course there is Kitty. It's..." replied Sly turning, to see that the calico feline had already fallen asleep, her breathing soft and deep. "You really have been through a lot today. Rest easy tonight Kitty." said the wolfox male stepping up to the bed and pulling the covers over her lightly. He left a kiss on her forehead and turned back toward the desk. Things were falling into place, but there was still a lot of planning to be done.

Luck lay in the bed in her room staring at the ceiling, her arms behind her head. She couldn't believe that things had spiraled how they have in the course of a few days. "Now we're both..." she thought, feeling the clover tag on her collar. She sighed to herself as she went over the situation. Thinking on how things went today since she was released from her punishment; a couple of things were painfully obvious. Even if Maneki didn't enjoy the treatment, she has already almost fully adapted to it. Because of this she's not treated roughly or unfairly. Sly was making it crystal clear that compliance and obedience to him and his rules means a more comfortable life here. Testing him wasn't a good idea, but it went against her nature to be submissive. The problem was Maneki. She knew that the calico cared for her, and would try to protect her even if she knew that she should just leave her alone. Even to the point of trying to deflect impending punishments. That was bad in and of itself, but she didn't want her friend to ruin the status she's gained, or be included in any punishments that she may bring upon herself because of her personality and pride. As much as it pained her, she was going to have to try harder to act as their master wanted. She was going to have to be submissive and obedient to the male to keep herself and inevitably Maneki out of trouble. Her thoughts lingered on this a little while longer before she closed her eyes, feeling the fatigue of the day lulling her body into sleep.
