Team Canine Episode 2: The Pilot's Rage

There's a wolf at the door, and this one has a gun. He's the team's pilot, but he refuses to join Team Canine. Will Silver and Greyfus get Wolf to come clean and join the pack?
Just by hearing that voice, Silver knew that it was coming from the door with the yellow letters that read "StarFox". Whoever was on the other side of that door was acting very violently towards his or her predicament. The metal door was being pounded on repeatedly by whoever was on the other side. Silver ran over to the door while Greyfus followed in a quick tagalong pursuit. Silver was about to inspect the door when all of a sudden a giant hole was ripped through the door. Out popped an anthropomorphic gray wolf doing an aerial flip before crouching on the ground with only one of his hand paws touching the floor. He had a crazy white Mohawk, a cybernetic eyepatch, and a ton of gear on with spiky shoulderpads.
"Welcome, Wolf O' Donnell," began Silver. But he was instantly stopped as Wolf quickly reached into his holster and pulled out his gun, pointing it at Silver.
"Shut up," growled Wolf, "one of you had better tell me what the hell is going on or I'll blast ya until you no part of your body even exists."
"You have been selected for Team Canine," replied Silver, "a group of anthropomorphic canine superheroes-"
"I don't do hero stuff, kid," interrupted Wolf with a snarl, "If you want a hero then I suggest you ask Fox."
"I know that you are a better pilot than him," replied Silver.
Wolf paused for a bit and smirked.
"Thanks, kid," said Wolf, "but I'm tellin' ya, that hero stuff ain't for me. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be heading back to the Lylat System."
"Um...I don't know how to send you back," choked Silver.
Wolf immediately pulled out his gun and pointed it at Silver, as if his reflex was like the crack of a whip.
"Then start finding a way, desert trash. You've got until the count of ten!"
But all of a sudden, Wolf was knocked off of his feet by what looked like a flash of blue light. It was Greyfus's whip, and Greyfus now had Wolf pinned down, growling angrily, with his massive girth covering Wolf completely.
"YOU," snarled Greyfus, "YOU CALL YOURSELF A WOLF!?"
"Duh," growled Wolf.
"AND YET YOU STILL TALK BACK TO ME?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT I COULD DO TO YOU?! I WILL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB. YOU ARE THE MOST DISLOYAL AND COWARDLY WOLF I HAVE EVER MET!"
"Watch it, big guy," snarled Wolf.
"AND WHY SHOULD I?!" yelled Greyfus, "I COULD FINISH YOU OFF WITH JUST ONE SWIPE OF MY CLAWS!"
"You forgot I have a gun." Growled Wolf.
"THEN PREPARE TO DEFEND YOURSELF!" Shouted Greyfus as he lunged towards Wolf, "DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!"
Greyfus and Wolf were now clawing and biting each other in a heap on the floor. Suddenly, they both stopped and recoiled on the floor covering their ears and writhing in agony.
"WHAT IS THAT?!!" yelped Wolf, "It's worse than a Smart Bomb!"
Silver came up to the two and pulled a long thin metallic cylinder out of his mouth.
"Dog whistle," replied Silver gruffly, "can't be heard by humans, but to us canines, it hurts our ears with as much force as a megaton blast."
"You're joking," snarled Wolf, "there's no way it's as loud as a-"
"I reckon I was the one talking," snarled Silver, "and maybe I'm wrong, but it hurt, didn't it? So shut up. Humans have used it so many times on me that it just sounds like crickets. And you'll hear it again if you two don't get your tails in gear and get along."
Wolf and Greyfus got up and glared at each other.
"Fine," snapped Wolf, "I'll join the team. But you need to make sure this big guy stays in line."
"And WHOSE fault was that?!" snapped Greyfus.
"I was KIDDING."
Suddenly, a loud alarm went off.
"Silver!" shouted Greyfus, "What does this mean?"
"I can't make heads or tails of it!" Replied Silver, "It's almost as if the system is overloading because..."
"Because WHAT?!" Snarled Wolf.
"Because," replied Silver, "two of the team members have materialized at the same time!"
