Turning Tides of Change
This is kind of how I feel my life is. Ina direction I cannot control and sick of it. The "oar" I have is not enough, but still have some hope, however fleeting.
The Turning Tides of Change
by Carl Blessing/Murphy Slaugh
I'm caught in the tides, going the same direction.
I see where I've been and I'm deep in reflection.
I want something different, I want a different view.
I need a different life than the one I'm going to.
I see no land in sight from my boat.
I know that it's sturdy, no fear of not staying afloat.
But I need to be back on solid land.
If something or someone can give me a helping hand.
Chorus:
I'm waiting for the turning tides of change.
I'm wanting my life to rearrange.
To be back into familiar shore.
To see what a good life will have in store.
The tides are so far too strong to row against with my oar.
I can't be content, I'm wanting so much more.
I don't want to just survive, I want to experience and to live.
But I'm getting tired, not sure how much I can give.
Chorus:
I'm waiting for the turning tides of change.
I'm wanting my life to rearrange.
To be back into familiar shore.
To see what a good life will have in store.
Bridge:
The horizon show nothing but more and more sea.
I really need different scenery.
When will this eternal ocean end?
When will my broken hear mend?
When I feel the turning tides of change.
When I see my life to rearrange.
When finally I'm back into familiar shore.
And see what a good has in store.
When I feel the turning tides of change.
When I see my life to rearrange.
When finally I'm back into familiar shore.
And see what a good has in store.
When I feel the turning tides of change.
When I feel the turning tides of change.
