Omega Kinetic Prime

Steph, do we have the new generators in place? Or is the kid still working on it?

Steph's voice filtered into his mind lightly. He's almost got them up and running. He has to wire them into the system, but he's telling me that he should have them in by tomorrow's load.

Excellent. What else is on the docket for today? Hopefully not another starship? I'm tired of lugging those around, they're heavy with this equipment.

Steph laughed from her station on the ground floor and glanced up at the ceiling above, where Lief sat in his chair, staring at a computer screen. I'm sending the stats up now. Two cargo shells and a passenger pod. Be careful with the cargo, by the way, it's fragile.

Lines of data appeared on Lief's console as he laid back in his chair, rolling two spotted cubes around in one of his paws. He sighed in silent thanks as he saw that the masses of the ships were rather small compared to that of starships. His spotted tail, fluffed nicely, draped itself limply across the arms of his chair. The tip twitched this way and that idly. He tapped the screen lightly and reached out his mind to Steph. Fire up the generators, Delta Prime Kinetic doesn't like waiting.

As the orders reached the ears of the engineer of his support team, Lief heard the old equipment fire up. Odd, that. He heard them, even though they were completely separated from his tower by airless space on the moon of Omega Prime's planet. He reached out and leaned gently on the generators, feeling them increase in power as he applied pressure. He took a hold of the energy in the power plant and used it to boost his own abilities. He reached out toward Delta Prime.

Omega Prime, you're late, boomed Delta's mental voice. He was intimidating, and somewhat arrogant, but he was decent enough. And he hadn't lost a single piece of cargo yet.

By my clock, I'm right on time. Down to business, if you please. Two cargos, both fragile, and a passenger pod. Correct?

Right. Cargos first. They fell smoothly into the protocol most commonly used by the Kinetics.

Lief leaned into the generators as he caught the pods and set them perfectly into their carriers in the cargo bay. He pulled the final pod up on screen and made note to put this pod into the pressurized cargo bay. And the last pod is a passenger. Send 'em over, I'm ready.

The final pod was flung neatly through space. Leif took it at half way and brought it to its slot in the indoor bay. He finished with formalities and sighed, pushing the viewing screen out of his sight, around the side of his chair. He stood and stretched. Okay, charge the batteries for tonight and shut 'em down. And find out who was in that passenger pod, I'm curious.

Yes, boss. Right on it.

Lief grinned and shook the dice in his hand, dropping them on the table. He smirked at the result and walked off to retrieve an energy drink from his private kitchen. He opened it and took a long pull. He stepped from the kitchen, tail waving limply behind him, and headed down the stairs to the control room to see who the newcomer was.

Kishwa looked about inside her small pod, waiting for someone to open it. The landing was soft, thankfully, and the only indicator that she had landed was that someone had brushed lightly against her mind. She reached out her feelings and felt various emotions from a little way away. She felt a strong curiosity and a somewhat mechanical feeling. She frowned and concentrated on it before deciphering it as the near-stressed work ethic that often accompanied their line of work. She tried to stretch out her mind further and sighed as she reached the limits of her power.

She nearly jumped as she heard the three knocks on the hatch. She knocked back three times, signaling that it was safe to open. The hatch hissed as it swung open. Kishwa saw the long, not quite narrow, light brown face of a white-tailed doe stick her head in the hatch.

The creature opened its mouth and said, "Welcome to Omega Prime. You must be the new empath." She extended a hand inside the pod to help Kishwa out with a grin. "My name's Stephanie, but everyone calls me Steph."

Kishwa extended her own hand and gingerly took Steph's to get out of the pod. She bowed to the doe. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Kishwa."

Steph giggled at the bow. "You don't need to bow, we're pretty laid back here. Leave your luggage here, we can get Spots to move it to your room later."

Kishwa smiled softly and looked about. "Who is this 'Spots?'"

"Oh, that's Lief, our Kinetic. He has a thing for spots. He has them on him, on nearly everything in his quarters, and he has some of those artifacts from Old World. 'Dice,' I think. You'd have to ask him." Steph looked over Kishwa's black and white stripes and long face. "Do you want a tour?"

"Yes, that would be lovely. Lead the way, Stephanie."

Lief waved his four and a half foot (and floofy to boot) tail about behind him as he walked down the long ramp up to his part of the tower. He could have just as easily teleported, but he felt like walking off some of the stress. He adjusted his spotted shirt to fall neatly and brushed his snowy-white hair out of his eyes.

Humming to himself, he stuck his paws in his pockets as he checked in the cargo bay. He frowned when he found the pod open but empty. He looked at the luggage inside and shrugged. Not bothering with the generators, he used some of his own energy to 'port the luggage to the guest room and moved on.

It took some time, but he managed to track the pair down in the garden. The zebra was squatted, sniffing some of Steph's flowers. He leaned against the door, watching silently as his tail waved idly about him.

Steph was giving explanations of the flowers and methods they used to grow all the greens on the station. "And, as a bonus," she said, "the plants regenerate the oxygen supply. Naturally, we have backup tanks hidden away, but we never use them."

Kishwa nodded and stood to walk further down the path, followed by Steph. Several questions about the botany were fired back and forth, leaving Lief to shake his head at the metaphorical Greek. As they passed a bend, his curiosity got the better of him and he left the doorway to walk along the path behind him, listening to snatches of their conversations. He picked a leaf off a small plant and rubbed it between his fingers, purring softly at the scent it released. He grinned and put the leaf down into the soil to help fertilize the roots and walked on.

He twitched his ears as he strained to catch the conversation out of curiosity, but soon got distracted by some wonderful smells wafting through the air from the kitchen. He deviated from his course and snuck in to find the chef setting places at the table, mounding the plates with savory morsels of intricately flavored delicacies, the likes of which... Ooh, Lief couldn't wait.

He walked over and followed the chef to the table, grinning evilly. When she turned, her mouse-like face reacted with shock, emitting a single "eep!" Lief grinned and licked his lips, leaning in close to her. She tried to edge away but found herself pinned between him and a table. "M-m-mr. Lief, sir..."

Lief smirked and leaned in closer, opening his mouth wide. In a sudden rush of movement, he snagged a roll in his mouth and munched on it happily, grinning at the absolute shock on the mouse's face. She fanned herself with her hands, leaning heavily against the counter. "Oh good heavens. Don't do that!"

The snow leopard grinned at her innocently, finishing off the roll. "Dinner's ready, then?"

"Yes, it is. Your new support is here, so I thought I'd cook a little something extra for dinner."

"Oh, so that's who that is. Huh. Mind if I go ahead and start? If Steph and the newcomer ask where I am, I'll be right here." He slid around into his chair at the head of the table and quickly started eating.

The mouse rolled her eyes. "Yes, sir," she said as she walked out, still calming her quickened heart.

Kishwa and Steph wandered aimlessly about the station. Steph let Kishwa look over her small station in the control room, even though she would likely be spending a fair amount of time up in the tower with the Kinetic.

"Speaking of him, where is he? I'd prefer to meet him off the clock first." Kishwa stood from her terminal and looked at Steph inquiringly.

"He's..." She reached out with her mind and searched around for Lief. She found him in the dining room. Lief! You'd better not have started dinner without us!

Sorry, can't talk right now, I've got a roll in my mouth. Please leave a message.

Steph sighed exasperatedly and pointed toward where he was. "He started dinner without us, the bottomless pit. Come on, he'll start eating our food, too!" She turned and set off at a fair trot, leaving Kishwa to stare after her before hurriedly following.

They found him starting to reach over to another plate. He bowed his head and blushed under his fur, retracting his hand. "Sorry, I just get hungry, you know... You go lug around starships for a day and try not eating food that's in front of you."

Steph giggled and pulled his chair out quickly, forcing Lief to stand. "Now, Lief, meet Kishwa, the new support. She'll likely be helping you up in the tower, I've heard she has good ratings for telekinesis."

Lief turned and looked her over, tilting his head with his long tail waveling in the background. After a second, he grinned and bowed to her. Kishwa colored under her black and white stripes, returning the bow before Lief grinned and pounced her playfully. She reacted by shoving him off to the side, into the cabinets. Lief spun to the ground and decided he liked it better down there, cleaning the back of an ear in effort to make it look like that's what he intended. He paused and glared at Steph. "Stop laughing, you."

She tried to stop before waving a hand in front of her mouth as she walked out of the room, trying to catch her breath. Lief stood and twitched his tail, smoothing a few misplaced hairs. Narrowing a keen eye at Kishwa, he crouched slightly. To his immense amusement, the zebra looked ready to bolt. Lief decided that enough was enough and held a chair for her.

Sitting down, she looked Lief over with idle curiosity. "Mind telling me what that was all about?"

"I was testing you."

"Really?"

"No. I can't help it. I'm worked up from today's workload. It was larger than usual. I need to get all this energy out of my system so I can sleep." He looked down at his tail as he sat back down in his chair.

Kishwa blinked and frowned, pressing her mind against his to read his emotions. She couldn't get anywhere near his thoughts, but she could feel that he was hiding a blush. "What are you so embarrassed about?" She almost grinned when she felt his embarrassment rise again.

"Um... Nothing. What do you think of the complex? Does it work well for you?"

Kishwa blinked at the sudden change and worked to shift mental gears. "It, uh, it works fine. I mean, not that you need my opinion on it or anything, but?oh, why'd you have to go and do that?"

"Do what? I didn't do anything. Just a few questions, that's all." He grinned innocently. "Try the fish, it's excellent."

* * * * *

Steph whistled appreciatively, flipping her small tail once or twice. She looked over the long list on her screen. Her jaw dropped as she found that it had a second page, nearly as full. Lief wasn't going to like this. This was enough work to take all day long, as well as send the generators on a marathon some of them weren't able to handle. She sighed and took a sip of her hot drink. Spots, you near your console?

I can be. There was a pause as he blinked his mental eyes. Why?

Take a look at what we've got on tab for today. And for heavens' sake, sit down first.

Oh, damn... Let me go see. He crawled out of his bed and walked over to the console, plopping down in his chair. He purred slightly and squinted his eyes at how comfortable it was first thing in the morning, sans clothes. Shaking his head, he pulled the screen over to him. His expression grew tired as he looked over the list. Damn. Call the full crew and get the mechanic to get his equipment to generators two and three, they'll be the first to fail.

Yes, sir.

And remind me to send a message to Alpha Kinetic to tell him we need better generators before taking on another one of these workloads. I'll stick the message tube where the stars don't shine, if I can still aim after this. Lief sighed and rubbed his face to try and wake up more. This just wasn't fair.

Standing, he walked to his closet and pushed it open. Better go comfortable; it was going to be a long day.

* * * * *

Kishwa watched as the crew around the control room sat perfectly still, moving only their fingers to adjust power levels as needed. Lief had called for what he called a "mental pyramid" to use as support in filtering the generators. Having no kinetic ability herself, she was left out of the group. She busied herself by fixing energy drinks for the crew, trying to keep them at full. She glanced across the room and, satisfied that they'd all been served, she moved up the tower to help Lief.

She found him sitting cross-legged in his chair, frowning in concentration as his nearly-glazed eyes relentlessly scanned his monitors. His mind was busy catching cargo from all over the galaxy. She pressed a drink into his hand, moving the straw to his mouth. He barely acknowledged it, but she felt a slight brush against her hip. She glanced down to see his tail tapping her gently in thanks.

Smiling softly, she turned to walk back to the control room. Her mind flinched as she caught the tail end of a power spike. She felt the tension in the building grow to nearly a breaking point as Lief's drink crashed to the floor. She agitatedly shifted her footing as she looked at the power monitors on Lief's screen. A generator just blew, cutting their power substantially. She winced as she imagined the strain on the crew, wishing she could help. She glanced about and nearly galloped to the ramp, halfway down. She stood and gripped the rail tightly as she stretched out her mind over the crew, soothing their minds as they strained to keep running.

* * * * *

Lief nearly collapsed in his chair as he let go of Gamma Kinetic's mind link. He held his support pyramid as the lower sections slowly let go, soon leaving only him and Steph. He sighed as she left with a mental caress. Sagging against his chair, he nearly jumped out of his skin as Kishwa helped him to his feet and brought him to his bed. She set him on the edge of it and pressed a drink into his hands. He raised it to his muzzle and nearly threw it away as his nose caught the smell of it.

"No, drink it. It's the best thing after a large load like that, trust me. It smells something horrible, but it's the best thing you can have." She pressed it to his lips and watched him drink it. He handed her the cup back as he shook his head, shuddering as his eyes were pried open by the rush of energy. "Damn them for giving me a schedule like that. How many generators did we lose?"

"Two. We only have three left."

Lief sighed as he twitched his tail. He could almost feel that vile drink as it slimed into his stomach. "What the hell was that you made me drink? It was revolting."

"You'll get used to it. It's called oaiwek where I come from. I know it tastes horrible, but it's the best there is. I'm assuming that it woke you up."

He nodded in reply. "I think I'm going to go make sure the crew's okay. I tried to take as much of the load as I could, especially with some of the lower kinetics."

Kishwa watched him go, sighing as she rubbed her hip idly where his tail had brushed it, wondering what he'd be like at night.

* * * * *

Kishwa brushed her hair calmly as she sat on a stool, draped with silks. She sighed, glad that she at least did something during the day. She always felt like a fifth wheel when she moved to a new station, before she was assigned duties.

Putting the brush down, she walked from the mirror she was using and slid under the sheets of her bed, sighing happily as she sank into the soft mattress. Her mind drifted across the station idly, picking up occasional snippets of emotion. She rolled to her side and curled slightly, closing her eyes as she fell into a light slumber.

She was jarred awake by a raw agitation permeating the room. She looked about in fright before realizing that it wasn't from her room. She put a robe on over her short, striped fur and stepped out into the corridor, walking around as she tried to find its source. She looked up and blinked as she turned to the ramp and started making her way to Lief's quarters.

Slinking into the room, she looked over at Lief's bed to find him tossing and turning almost frantically, barely stopping for enough time to find comfort. She called out softly to him, reaching her mind out to sooth his. "Lief, it's okay. Calm down."

He picked his head up and turned to look at her. Sitting up in his bed, she caught sight of his lithe and muscular torso breathing heavily. "Go back to your room. I'm fine."

She looked him over and walked over to the side of his bed, where she sat. "No, you aren't. I couldn't go back to sleep, anyway, not with you sending out bad vibes like this."

The snow leopard glared down at his tail, not raising his chin to look at her. "I said I'm fine."

She looked at him and shifted to bring her hand across his cheek strongly.

His eyes grew wide with shock as he felt the blow. He brought a hand to his cheek as he turned to look at her.

She shook her hand to wake it up. "Snap out of it. And stop letting your feline pride get in the way. Relax already."

Pulling his tail into her lap, she slowly stroked it, smoothing the bristled fur. Lief slowly relaxed and was soon purring. She looked at him in surprise and found him blushing. "Sorry, Kishwa. I... I'm not used to people stroking my tail..."

She giggled and worked her way up his tail and was soon massaging his back. He slumped forward, wrinkling the covers that were over his lap as he purred loudly at the pleasure. Kishwa smiled as she worked the tension out of his muscles, working her way down his back and around to his front. He laid back on the bed, eyes squinted shut as his hands gripped the sheets in pleasure.

She worked her way down, brushing the sheets back to work on his legs. She pointedly ignored his manhood as it throbbed idly, and she got to work massaging his paws and moving up. She ended up stretched up against his side, stroking his chest fur as he purred loudly against her side. She moved to the side of the bed and got up to leave. Lief's purring decrescendoed to near silence as he leaned up on his elbows, mewing at her softly. She looked back at him and felt his loneliness with her mind. The corner of her muzzle twitched up in a smile as she slipped her robe off and joined him, pressing her curves against him.

He responded with need, melting against her. He licked her fur a little around her breasts before nibbling on a nipple and sucking softly. Kishwa let out an ooh of pleasure, reaching down to stroke Lief's spots idly.

He suckled on her breast slowly, purring softly. It'd been ages since he'd been this close to someone... He relished the feeling, drinking of the sweet milk from Kishwa before switching breasts and doing the same again. She crooned at him and lay a delicate hand on his back, feeling the purr vibrating through his body.

She gently pulled him up to her face and closer to her. He let himself be pulled up and licked a little at her neck before nibbling and nuzzling close to her. She began to feel the purring against her striped fur as he rubbed against her. His tail curled around and caressed her sides gently as he wrapped his arms around her tightly, temporarily content with the feeling of her being so close.

It took little time for his need to grow, however, and he pulled away from her. His slightly glazed eyes looked over her luscious body intensely, soaking in every detail of her curves, and how her stripes served only to accentuate them. He leaned down near her waist and blew cool air over her nether regions, causing her to shudder.

His pawtips danced lightly across the soft fur on her inner thighs, moving ever closer to the flower before him. He moved one paw up and began to caress her breasts one at a time, as the other slid lightly over her entrance. He pressed a finger to it softly and gently pushed inside, twisting his finger around, careful to keep his claws retracted.

The purring was growing slowly as he pleased her slowly, pushing first one finger, then two in and out of her love canal. He twisted his fingers around, stroking her insides slowly as he massaged her chest, causing her to moan loudly. He leaned down and licked slowly at her clit, his rough tongue stimulating it something fierce before he pressed his muzzle against her folds and licked up her juices.

Kishwa moaned, one of her hands joining the one that was massaging her breasts. She breathed heavily as she rubbed her fingertips over her nipples and tweaked them as they grew almost painfully erect. Her sides tingled with sensation as Lief's thickly furred tail rubbed against her. She arched her back as he licked at her, feeling the near-painful roughness gracing her.

Lief glanced up at her and crawled up to lay across her stomach, his muzzle between her breasts, his whiskers teasing her stripes lightly. She shook her head to clear her face of her hair before looking down at him, panting lightly with arousal. She leaned down and kissed him deeply.

He pulled away slowly from her and pressed his tip against her. She oohed at the heat of it and lay back, spreading her legs apart slightly to give him more room. He purred and leaned against her as he pushed forward. The head pushed her apart slowly as he leaned forward. She groaned as the barbs pushed her further out and lightly scraped her insides, causing her to writhe in pleasure.

She panted and looked up at him as he grinned slowly before he pushed in slowly, spreading her insides out to accommodate him as he pushed inside of her, his barbs ever-felt inside her. He pushed all the way in and paused before beginning the slow anti-thrust, pulling almost all the way out before pushing in again, slightly faster.

Lief began to pant as his eyes lidded over as he mated the zebra faster and faster. She groaned and arched her back before slowly starting to push against him in time, trying to force him deeper. He pressed harder against her, putting his paws on her hips to keep her in place.

The odd pair moaned and pressed together almost obscenely as Lief thrust into Kishwa. Kishwa's mind, distracted by the immense feelings overloading her senses, began to leak her arousal. Lief groaned and sniffed the air, smelling the strong smell of sex in the air, and began to hammer into her.

Kishwa groaned and thrust her hips strongly against the feline, relishing the feeling of his barbs scraping her insides. She felt her tightness around his feline cock as he shoved into her repeatedly. Under the sensations, she started to feel the rising power of an almighty orgasm building.

Lief moaned, eyes almost completely closed, as he built himself up. He shoved against her, twisting slightly this way and that, loving every second of feeling her tight tunnel pulling against him.

Their feelings became one as they thrust their bodies together closely, driving Lief's cock to the hilt in the zebra. They pressed together several more times before almost completely moving apart in preparation for the final thrust.

It came, and so did they. Lief buried himself deep inside Kishwa's spasming sex as he blew, convulsing strongly as it shot load after load into her. Their mind- and sense-shattering orgasm shook their world before they both collapsed against each other, breathing heavily. Lief left himself in her as he licked her fur weakly, purring loudly.

Kishwa's heavy breathing subsided as she felt Lief calm, licking her every now and then, before falling into a deep slumber. The zebra grinned and stroked his ears softly before pulling his tail up to cover herself and falling asleep under him.

Steph walked out of her shower and dried her fur off. She sniffed the air and eyed her bed, noting the wet spot in the middle. Sighing, she curled up the sheets and put them into the washer and sanitizer, throwing in extra detergent to get the scent of sex out of them. Those dreams had been nice, but a mess to clean up after.

She pulled a robe on and walked up to the tower to see how Lief was doing. She slipped into his room and froze as she saw two bodies intertwined in the spacious bed. She silently excused herself from the room, grinning. Takes a zebra to satisfy a snow leopard. To each their own.

She walked into her room and opened a drawer, viewing the contents idly, wondering how well she'd remember that dream. She reached down and grabbed an item, walking to her bed with a smirk.
