Two Worlds?
Hello! If you could please read this I would be forever in your debt! I have an idea for a story I want to bring to life so bad but i'm so afraid nobody will like it. This discusses the basic idea without giving away the plot points I have so please read and give a guy some advice please? Tell me if its good, tell me if it's bad. I would love the help, thank you :).
Hello! This isn't much of a story as it is just a short ramble about my story to see what others think. So really I'm going to discuss the basic idea and see if people would want to read about it or they think it would need some work, it may be hard to understand 'cause I'm trying to keep many plot points from being spoiled as possible.
So the Idea of TWO WORLDS is really centers around this boy, about 14 like me, called Stanley. And yeah I know that's kind of a primitive name but it's suppose to pay tribute to Stan Lee, creator of Spider-Man. He used to live with his mother and his a bit younger but stubborn and gothic sister Janet. But after the death of his mother he and his sister basically move onto his Dads farm. His older brother (David) lives with his dad, so really David is the favorite it seems. Stan and his dad have a troubled relationship, his dad feels he is lazy and doesn't do any work and feels life on the farm will teach him to be more of a "man,". Stan feels that even though he knows his dad loves him, that he wishes that Stan was more David and constantly feels he is the Lower point in the family. Stan is a insecure boy and is really not confidant to take anything into his own hands. That's the back story for Stan.
After about a year with living with his father things have not got better, Summer break is here and that means spending more time on the farm and getting yelled at by his Dad. But not a few days after his last day at school, he finds some sort of puzzle under his wooden floorboards, after solving the puzzle he is taken to another version of earth. (That's where the title comes in, "Two Worlds" ) Stan is horrified to find humanized Animals walking and talking like any other human. Stan also loses the puzzle that took him there, in a desperate attempt to find it and head back home, he is almost taken into custody by the animal version of the cops. Stan pounders how this is his punishment for being a bad son, and gives up hope. But he finds and befriends a Vixen by the name of Taywin. Taywin is the daughter of a queen, (yeah cheesy I know but it's not the Disney cliché, work with me XD) which puts a lot of pressure on the teen. She is pressured by her mother who thinks she is spoiled and is very insensitive, but not a lot of people know about the real side of Taywin, her softy side. She and Stan connect easily with their parental problems. And what happens next? Well your going to have to read when/if I post the story :3.
So that's the summary, IDK what do you guys think? Think it could be a good story? The part where he visits the furry world seems cliché I know but it's a lot better when it's actually written and brought to life as I want it to be. And besides I'm keeping a lot of details out, so yeah. So what do you guys and girls think? And yes it has romance so yeah XD I've always found that cute.
