Nebulae

My favorite so far :)

Nebulae

A galaxy-filled sky

Constellations arbitrary

Of stars soon to die

And its soul unable to carry

The burden of the universe.

Falling comets through suns

Have seen the life of the cosmos

That has hardly begun.

Consist of countless wonders,

Supermassive black holes

Neutron stars and red giants,

All out of control

And never torn asunder.

But Europa Titan and Deimos

Are easily outdone

And clearly cannot equal

The beauty found in this place

Spiral galaxies on her cheek

Jupiter upon her face

Falling stars as she'll speak

Warmth of the sun in her embrace

With the Helix Nebula in her eyes.

The moon shall fall

And the moon shall rise

But only you are on my mind

As I gaze into the skies.
