Chapter 3: Things Aren't As They Seem
My life. It's turned around. In the worst way possible. I was at the store buying groceries for the house. I picked up the cellphone to call Drake cause I didn't want to forget something. Although when he answered it was a different voice. A different person entirely, "This is Slyde." I couldn't believe what I was hearing but since I needed Drake I replied, "Hi ! Is Drake there ?" He answered back but with slight concern "Uh yeah. Here you go." Then Drake answered, "Hey..pant...what do you...want..huff ?" What do you mean what do I want ?! What are you doing...no what are YOU two doing ?! He said, "Nothing...just rebuilding a swing..why are you yelling ?" Of course he would say that. "Oh so I suppose the moaning and squishing is the wrench at work ?" I meant it sarcastically but I knew exactly what was going on. He hasn't been talking much and now he comes back from work at later times. Drake says, "I'm fine. I'll meet you at home. Love you." "Love you too." Then I hung up the phone and got the last item on the list. Not knowing what I was getting into.
