#19 of Heat

Well after all this time you get to find out what happens to Richard. If you didn't know i wrote a story for Richard in prison it can be found here http://www.sofurry.com/view/560812 and directly preceeds this one. However i felt it was too dark to be part of the heat series. It does add more depth to Richard's cellmates but i beliee in heat 10 I have given you enough information to not need to read it. However, if you don't mind dark you may want to read that first.

I hope you enjoy this

Heat 10

"Captain to all hands, repel boarders." Captain Tyler Ray shouted over the comm of his ship, the Canine Alliance cruiser Jarrow. "We have a dragos suicide team deck 5 section 3. Major Pritt your marines services are needed. Please give us another demonstration of human military efficiency."

The dark furred wolf switched off the ship's comm system and looked around his bridge in frustration. He switched on his miniature scanner unit to get an update on the battle. The fleet he was stationed in had mainly human and canine ships, with a few lapine ones scattered in their ranks. All currently engaged with dozens of dragos ships, the dragos had a slight advantage in numbers which made it all the more galling for the Jarrow to be out of the fight.

It had been a bloody war so far, the dragos had ravaged seven worlds and were trying to conquer three of them. Talos the Canine world they had taken was fairing the best. Thanks in no small part to the Jarrow and to a human ship the Alexandria. The two of them had managed to protect a canine troop convoy with over fifty thousand soldiers on board.

For a moment Tyler found himself thinking of the captain of that ship. He'd shared a few wonderful days with Captain Richard Jenson and he was sure that their relationship had just been starting. Richard's death while diving his ship into a dragos battleship had been a bitter blow. It had hit him harder than he thought it would.

However, from that act of heroism an alliance had been born, the Human Republic, the Canine Alliance and the Lapros Free State had combined forces to fight against the Dragos Imperium invaders. The first few weeks had been rough and he'd not had time to morn properly. Instead he had thrown himself and the Jarrow into battle again and again. He took risks and was by far the most aggressive captain in the fleet.

It had earned him a reputation and not an entirely good one at that. The Jarrow had been badly battered and had to retreat on more than one occasion. Still his crew took pride that they were always the first into the fray and the last to run. They wrongly thought he was being brave, when nothing could be further from the truth. He was hiding in battle from something he feared even more, the pain of grief and remorse.

The dragos used suicide ships to ram into vessels during battles, ram ships filled with shock troops. They would try to fight their way to the bridge or the engine room and do their damndest to blow the ship. It was a tactic that worked well at first. However, after a few loses the combined fleet had adapted, any ship rammed moved out of the fight and then fought off their boarders. Each ship had been assigned a compliment of marines along with automate internal bulkheads to seal the dragos in and give time for the marines to get into position

. The Jarrow had received a compliment of fifty human marines just a few weeks ago. So far they had been very helpful in fending off two dragos suicide runs. The canine crew and the humans had surprised Tyler by getting on well. No fights no arguments, comrades in arms. Nothing like a common enemy to get people to work together.

Still the war wasn't going too well, they were making progress on Talos and the Dragos advance on the human world of York was stalling. Their attack on the peaceful lapine world of Prime, however, was going too well. The dragos were blockading that world successfully and the lapros army was small and not well armed. Still if they could just kick the dragos off Talos the unified fleet would be able to put together enough ships to break the dragos blockade.

As Tyler sat reviewing the battle situation his eyes caught the waving arms of his communications officer. He got up and wandered over, "You have something you wish to say lieutenant?"

"I wanted your permission to put my proposal into practice." The young fox blurted out excitedly.

"Oh right, the music thing. Are you sure about this?" He asked in as gentle a voice as he could manage.

"Oh yes Sir!" The fox replied excitedly. "The marines told me all about it, they said in the last dragos war they used to go into battle with music blaring. I... I did some research and I found the perfect song for Major Pritt. It's an Earth song about very famous English victory. Major Pritt is from London England Sir, he will appreciate a reminder from home."

Tyler nodded the young officer seemed a little crestfallen at him questioning the idea, he shrugged his shoulders figuring 'what could it hurt'. "Ok, do it."

Major Pritt stood along side four of his mariners barking out orders. "Ok, just a few minutes and the dragos will be through the inner bulkhead. Riggs, Jenkins over there, set up a crossfire. Bains, Nolan get yourself set up on this corner, I want the autoblaster taking out anything that comes through that door..."

He was interrupted by the ship speakers springing to life with weirdly bouncy music and voices singing. "My, My, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender..."

"What the holy fuck is THAT!" The Major exclaimed.

"That's Waterloo by ABBA, don't you know your classics Sir?" Jenkins replied.

"Why the fuck are they playing that, is it supposed to be a joke." The Major growled.

"No Sir, in the mess the other day we were telling Collins the comm officer about how we used to roll. I think this is his attempt to do something nice for us." Nolan replied chuckling as the speakers continued to blare one of ABBA's greatest hits.

The Major shrugged, "Well I guess his heart is in the right place. Tell him thank you for the music."

Jenkins burst out laughing "Nice one Sir!"

Major Pritt frowned in confusion, "What are you talking about Jenkins?"

"Thank you for the music... it was an ABBA song..." He suddenly stopped when he realised everyone of the mariners was no longer staring at the door the dragos was about to burst in they were staring at him. "My...er Mom was a fan Sir!"

"Riiight" Major Pritt replied as some loud thuds announced the dragos were almost there. "Grab your guns boys here they come!"

As the last few seconds ticked away Jenkins turned to Riggs and said. "Do you think he takes requests, I'd love to hear Super Trooper right now."

Riggs didn't get a chance to reply as the dragos blew the bulkhead door and everyone suddenly had a lot more on their mind than music.

Tyler paced as reports came in, he hated being out of the fight. He wandered over to his gunner and looked over his shoulder at the gunnery display. It showed the range of their different gun batteries, as he looked at it his mind suddenly shouted at him. "Hey, our long range weapons have considerably longer range than anything the humans and dragos have right?"

"Yes Sir! Although at the furthest extent of our range accuracy can be a problem." The officer replied turning to look at his captain. "Why do you ask, Sir?"

"We're well over the minimum safe distance fleet standing orders say to go. However, it we moved to the very minimum distance, our long range guns could still hit their targets." Tyler said half to himself as he mulled the idea over. "Also we'd be coming from a slightly different angle, one the dragos may not be scanning properly."

"Affirmative Sir!" The gunnery officer confirmed with growing excitement as he realised what his captain was thinking. "Our shots would take four minutes to reach their target, who should we go for?"

"There, that group of battleships; big targets harder to miss and they have their flanks partially turned towards us." Tyler said then turned. "Helm, get us as close as you can while still within the fleet orders."

"Aye Sir." Came the quick reply and within a few seconds the ship was underway.

"Give each ship two full salvos, lets not waste too much ammunition, this might fail." He commanded, his gunner turned back to his console and began sending orders to the Jarrow's gunnery crews.

The ship rocked gently as the guns fired their first salvo, the bridge crew cheered as they were back in the fight. The guns fired again and again moving from target to target. After a few seconds they stopped and the gunnery officer turned. "Now we wait to see if we score any hits."

Tyler resumed his pacing of the bridge, his eyes moving from clock to clock, counting down the seconds and minutes. As the fourth minute passed his gunnery officer jumped up. "A hit, a palpable hit!" He cried triumphantly and then sat back down. "First salvo landed in full and second in half, we nailed one of their primary gun batteries. Another hit second ship, three out of four shots landed heavy damage to their hull and armour."

The bridge crew celebrated as the gunnery officer read out a series of hits and misses. They had caught the dragos completely by surprise and really done some damage.

"Permission to try another salvo Captain." The gunnery officer asked getting a few cheers from the rest of the crew.

"No, they know we are here and a danger now, we won't get any more free hits. We've done what we can do now we just need to get rid of the damn dragos on the ship." As if he was listening in Major Pritt at that moment signalled the all clear.

"Helm get us back in the fight flank speed." Tyler commanded as he leaped back into the captain's chair.

As the helm officer plotted a course he replied. "Did we ever leave it, Sir?" This got a round of laughter from the bridge crew and a grin from his captain.

A few hours later the battle ended as the last dragos ships retreated. Victory, but a costly one. They had lost several good ships and the Jarrow had taken a hard pounding. However, to the pride of her captain she held together well. As Tyler gave commands for the damage repair crews his communications officer interrupted him.

"I've got Admiral Harris on a shuttle requesting permission to come on board."

Tyler frowned in perplexed, the admiral was the leader of this unified fleet and, after such a fierce battle, surely he had better things to do than visit a rather beat up canine ship. "Grant him permission and escort him to my ready room. Commander, take over the damage repairs while I deal with the admiral."

Tyler retired to his ready room picking up the items that had been knocked over in the battle, returning it to its usual tidy state. By the time the admiral arrived at his door he was sitting down reviewing the casualty list of the Jarrow. Twenty canos crew dead and four human marines, heavy losses indeed. Maybe this time he had pushed one step too far.

He heard a knock on his door and stood up saying "Come in."

A grey haired skinny human strode in. Tyler had only met the admiral once before and that had been among a whole group of officers during a briefing. The dark furred wolf saluted in the human style out of respect. "Welcome aboard Sir."

The admiral smiled and returned the salute in the canine style his right hand onto his left shoulder, his arm down into the chest. "Thank you, at ease captain. After standing all day commanding the fleet a seat would be a welcome relief."

Tyler gestured at the chair. "Please Sir, be seated." He said as he returned to his own seat.

"I've never been much good at chit chat so I'll cut to the chase. I am ordering the Jarrow off the front lines. You are to make best speed to Lapros where a dry dock is waiting for you." The old man said with the air of one who is used to giving orders and having them obeyed.

Never the less Tyler felt completed to object. "Sir, I know we took some damage in the last battle, but our repair crews can handle it."

The admiral frowned replying. "The Jarrow is a good ship, with a good crew and an experienced captain. Believe me I'm not giving this order lightly. However, you have suffered major loses and half your ship is a patchwork of repairs. Quite frankly I don't see why you are fighting this, half the fleet captains would fall over themselves trying to be given this order."

"I don't like running from a fight Sir." Tyler replied.

"You're not running, you are withdrawing to come back stronger." The Admiral replied continuing. "I must commend you on your little manoeuvre today, it really caught the dragos by surprise. I think the rest of the admirals and I will have to look again at how we are using the long reach of the canine guns."

Tyler beamed with pride despite himself. "Thank you, Sir. However, surely that in itself a good reason to keep me here."

"No it's not. Now I have given you an order damn it, I expect that order to be obeyed is that clear!" The admiral barked at him with such fury the wolf jumped to his feet and saluted saying.

"Sir, Yes Sir!"

"Good, now I want you to listen to this." The admiral said pulling a small recording device out of his pocket. Tyler sat down again as the admiral hit play.

"You are on the fleet emergency channel please state your name and clearance code." A female voice suddenly announced.

"Captain Richard Jenson, clearance code alpha, blue, gamma, twenty. Currently held prisoner of war on the dragos prison planet Kalros." Tyler shot bolt upright in his chair, his ears recognising the voice but scarcely believing what he was hearing as the voice continued. "Trace this call, I am being held with over a hundred others, please help us."

"Captain Jenson, confirm your clearance code." The female voice demanded curtly.

"My code is alpha... blue...gamma...twenty. Please come quick, they are working us to death and worse." Tyler had to suppress a whimper as he heard his former lover begging for his life.

"Message received, we have your location. Relief is on the way Captain Jenson." The message ended there.

The admiral sat silent for a moment then before Tyler could find the words he said. "We received that two months ago..." He didn't get to finish.

"Two Months! What have you done to rescue him?" Tyler demanded once again leaping to his feet.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?" Tyler gasped deeply his mind overloaded with shock. "He saved my ship, my crew, this whole alliance formed because of what he did. How can you do nothing to rescue him?" The wolf demanded unable to hold back a snarl.

The admiral gave him a rather stern look, totally unimpressed with the snarl. "Don't presume to tell me my duty you insolent little pup. I was commanding fleets while you were an itch in your daddy's sheath. The truth is Kalros is too far behind enemy lines for us to mount a rescue. Still I was aware you and Richard were... close and I thought you should hear this."

The fight effectively taken out of him the wolf dropped into his chair. "Thank you, Sir. I... didn't know he'd told anyone."

"Oh he didn't in so many words. However, requesting an assignment in canine space so shortly after meeting you and then leaping to your defence without orders. Well that speaks volumes." The admiral replied. "The truth at the moment is the war is going very badly, the dragos must have been building their military in secret for years. They couldn't have picked a worse time either, half the human fleet was being retrofit. Even after four months we still have got a quarter of our fleet in dry dock. Worse still, current projections show that without a change in fortune Prime will be lost in less than five months. There are seventy eight million civilians trapped on that planet with no escape."

The admiral looked out the window at the stars and other ships he could see floating there. "He is a damn fine captain and it turns my stomach to leave him to the dragos. I know what they do to their prisoners. A rescue attempt will be mounted when we have the resources to spare."

Tyler looked away from the admiral fighting back a tear in his eye. "Yes Sir."

"Now I have one other matter to discuss with you." The admiral said, a sly smile crossing the old guys face. "It will take several weeks to repair the Jarrow, in the mean time there is a Human Republic destroyer that has lost its captain. I was wondering if you could stand in while the Jarrow is repaired."

"I'd rather stay with my ship, if that's all the same to you sir." Tyler replied quietly trying to get images of Richard on some prison planet, being beaten and worked to death, out of his mind.

"Really? Oh that's a pity, she's going on a scouting run behind the dragos lines. I was hoping to find her an experienced captain."

The wolf span in his chair and barked excitedly. "What route is she to take?"

The admiral smiled and winked at the excited wolf. "Oh I think details like that should be left to her captain don't you."

The wolf grinned widely. "I volunteer Sir."

The admiral got to his feet and gave a human salute to the wolf, who returned it smartly. "I thought you might. Report to the destroyer Valiant at twenty one hundred hours today."

"Yes Sir and thank you Sir."

A few hours later Tyler arrived on the Valiant, he yawned as he reached the bridge and realised he'd been up over twenty eight hours. His thoughts were entirely of Richard as he assumed command. He was mildly surprised at how quickly the men accepted his leadership. The crew was obviously well trained professionals and accepted his orders without question.

His first one was to set course for Kalros and then he asked for the Captain of the ships marines to come to his ready room. His ready room was much smaller than the one on the Jarrow nothing but a tiny square room with a desk two chairs and a tiny window.

As he sat down at his desk he heard a knocking. "Come in."

The door opened and a young officer strode in blonde hair, blue eyes. His uniform immaculate and his shoes polished to a dazzling shine. "You asked to see me Sir?"

"Yes, please sit down." Tyler replied. "Are you aware of our current mission?"

"Yes Sir, a scouting mission." The officer replied.

"Yes indeed it is Captain... Hurst." He replied getting the officers name off his uniform. "However, just because we are not expecting combat is no reason not to prepare. I want you to run some readiness drills based on a prisoner of war rescue scenario."

"That's a very specific scenario Sir." Hurst replied his voice holding more than a trace of suspicion.

"Indeed, it is also an order. Good day Captain Hurst." Tyler said dismissing him. He didn't really care if the human suspected anything. Once they were there he knew they would have to do their job. A little bit of drilling would make this rescue mission much easier.

Three weeks in hyperspace was enough time for Tyler to get to know his crew. He eventually confessed his plans to Captain Hurst a few days prior to their arrival. He was gratified to hear the Captain fully supported his decision. He let his first officer and a few of the bridge crew know as well in confidence. However, he also informed them he would take full responsibility for their actions. If there were any consequences he would face them alone. His crew had protested but he had insisted that he gave the orders long before they even knew anything about the prison. The wolf was determined to make sure nobody paid for this selfish act of defiance, but himself.

Still he found his thoughts of Richard growing ever stronger in his mind each day. By the time he reached them the human would have been in prison for six months. He might be injured, mutilated or worse dead. He got angry every time he thought of fleet command sitting on his plea for rescue and doing nothing. He wondered what the human would be like now, would he even remember him after all it had just been a fling a few wonderful days together.

No, NO! It hadn't been a fling and they both knew it. He'd never felt the connection he'd had with Richard with any other partner. They had connected on every level, physical, emotional and intellectual. They were meant for each other and it was only the universe's cruel joke that they had been torn apart so soon after meeting.

He couldn't sleep the night before they were due to arrive, he lay in his bed tossing and turning in his sheets. His thoughts turned to their last night together, to fucking and being fucked by the human. They'd been so energetic, so passionate together, he'd tied to the human and instead of complaining about it like all his ex lovers the human had loved it. They had lain together pressed close for almost an hour feeling each others heartbeat through their linked bodies. He'd bathed in the human's scent, drank in his presence and he'd wanted nothing more than to spend eternity like that with the human entwined in his arms and legs.

The wolf opened his eyes and looked down his body to see his thick canine cock standing proud. He hadn't even jerked once since he had lost his mate, six months and his body was begging him desperate with need. Without even realising it he reached down with his paw taking a firm grip on his pulsing hot meat he began to stroke himself. Copious amounts of pre began to drool from the spearlike tip, soaking his paw and cock, making for a much smoother pawing session.

He groaned softly, he didn't want to be doing this. It wasn't right for him to be in pleasure while his love was out there alone and in pain. However, as his fingers drove wonderful sensations into his cock, and they coursed through his body, he could not control himself. He closed his eyes and thought back to that night, to mounting the human.

He gasped jetting a thick stream of pre onto his stomach as his paw gripped tighter. He remembered the feeling of his cock thrusting into the eager human ass, so tight and yet so willing. He'd not found out until afterwards the human had never taken a male lover before. He'd been slow and gentle with the human, at first anyway, their bodies pressed together the human's skin and his fur sticking to it as they both sweated and writhed together. The taste as he'd licked Richard's neck and shoulders was divine. The passionate gasps and cries they both made filled his ears. Their words and oaths of love whispered in the dark heat of their union fired his heart.

His paw moved faster and faster, his other paw joining it grabbing his swollen needy balls, rolling them around his palm. Their creamy white fur in a stark contrast to the almost black of his paws and paw pads. He yelped softly as he tugged on them, the orbs full to bursting in desperate need of release. He remembered how passionate their encounter had been, he had mated the human for what felt like hours. His natural canine abilities making the human as slick as could be as he worked him open wider and wider.

Then with the human begging for more he'd taken him faster and harder, the need to tie him building in his mind. He knew he shouldn't tie without agreeing it with the human first, but his body had controlled his actions then as it did now. His paw slipped off his balls and grabbed his knot squeezing tightly. He remembered his cock and knot ramming harder and harder into the human, hearing the human squeal.

Then he remembered the awesome feeling as he slide inside and his knot swelled, he jackhammered into the human for a few seconds before he had flooded Richard's ass with hot wolf spunk. As he remembered it his cock erupted spewing rope after rope of heavily musky cream over his stomach, balls and paw.

He lay there panting heavily coated in his own body's musky fluids. He thought of the moments after he tied with Richard, how he'd tried to apologise only for the human to stop him. Richard had shown him a cum covered hand, the human had came hard from his fucking. He remembered the human's taste as he licked those cum covered fingers clean. He closed his eyes at last as sleep finally found him.

He awoke to the sound of an alarm, his fur was matted with his dry cum. He sat up and looked out of the window of his cabin at the starlines and he smiled. In an hour they would be at Kalros and it was only a matter of hours before he and his love would be reunited. He stood up feeling like a pup on his birthday, giddy with excitement and yet nauseous with the dread that he might not get what he wanted.

He jumped into the shower and dressed quickly and a few minutes later, smelling slightly of wet dog, he was on the bridge. The crew were in their final preparations, his ears caught Captain Hurst reporting his troops readiness for combat on a frozen world. It was all happening now, he took his seat on the bridge and checked a few readouts.

Then he gave a few orders as the minutes passed he felt the nauseous feeling return, his stomach twisting in knots as the countdown time got closer to zero. Would he be there? Would he be whole? Would he remember him and want him the same way he wanted the human? All questions he tried to blot out, he was just a canine captain leading a rescue mission. That's all, he had no connections with anyone on the planet and he should remain calm. It was a nice sensible thought, it was a shame he couldn't get himself to believe it.

As the ship rocked and the starlines faded a tiny white world came into view. "Report!" He ordered trying not to jump out of his chair.

"Scans confirm several buildings on the planets surface. I have a mixture of lifesigns; human, canine, dragos, lapine, polar, equine, feline and lutrai." His scanner officer reported.

"Have they detected us?"

"I see no signs of activity that would indicate they were preparing for defence." The officer reported to Tyler's delight.

"Excellent, helm, get us into the shadow of that moon I don't want them to know we are coming until Captain Hurst blasts in their door." The wolf said leaning back in his chair, his heart was pounding so heavily in his chest he wondered if the others could hear it.

He hit a comm switch opening a channel to the hanger bay where Captain Hurst and his men sat in a shuttle ready for action. "We have arrived undetected Captain, I will give the word to go once we finish our scans of the surface."

"Affirmative, Sir. Waiting on your signal to go." Came the quick reply of the young captain.

"It looks like all the prisoners are underground sir, some sort of mining complex." The scanning officer informed him.

"Does it look like the prisoners quarters are underground?"

"No Sir, my guess is their quarters are this large almost empty building to the north of the site."

Tyler thought for a few moments. "We should wait until the prisoners are brought up after their shift, if we attack now the guards will have a long time to kill their prisoners before we can get to them. If Captain Hurst can get the shuttle down without being noticed he could set up and take them by surprise."

"Sir, I could generate an energy pulse, it would seem like a solar flare and blind their sensors for half an hour or so." The scanning officer informed him.

"Great idea, I'll brief Captain Hurst." The wolf replied the excitement growing in his chest again. It was finally going to happen, just a few hours and they'd be back together.

Captain Hurst took his orders well and looked at his men. They didn't know, in fact nobody on the ship knew, this was his first post as captain. "Ok men, we're going to land about one kilometre north of the site. I want us to take up positions and be ready. As soon as we have confirmation all the prisoners are out of the mine we move in. Shoot any dragos you see, Briggs, Carlos you get over to the other side of the camp, any prisoners that run your way gather them up and take em to the shuttle. Don't get into the fight unless the dragos come for you. Once the attack starts the Valiant will take out their guard towers and gun placements from orbit. Scans show that there are fifty dragos in this camp, so they have numbers. That's all they have, we have better guns, better training and a destroyer as backup. I expect all of you to make it back, do you understand?"

"Sir,yes, Sir!" Came the reply from his men. That was it, not exactly the best motivational speech of all time but it did the job. A few minutes later they got the all clear and the shuttle launched. It was a short flight and then they were all jumping out into the freezing snow. They were thankful for their thermal gear, however, every single marine was hoping that the prisoners would be brought up the second they got into place. Sitting around waiting on this world was a deeply unappealing prospect.

Hugging the edge of a snowy hill that overlooked the site the marines took position carefully. Making sure to keep low to avoid being spotted. Hurst was disgusted at how complacent the dragos guards were. As he used his binoculars to inspect the guard towers, none of the guards were on their feet or watching the hills. Hell his men could probably sneak into this site without being noticed at all. Four of his men set up their sniper rifles, they would stay on this hill providing cover fire while the rest went forward. All there was left to do was wait.

It was several freezing hours later when he saw some activity a lift and several ragged prisoners coming out. "Wait for it boys, the Valiant will tell us when they are all out. Get ready to move in."

Suddenly a blast came down and the anti spacecraft battery exploded. "Ok, let's go!" Hurst shouted charging down the hill. He could see his snipers' shots as they took out several dragos. The prisoners seemed to run in every direction, his men waved as many as they could back the way they had come. Several of the prisoners grabbed rifles from dead guards and joined in the fight. As the Valiant struck again taking out the guard towers in quick succession.

As he got to the main prisoner barracks a human ran over to him and screamed . " You took your fucking sweet time to get here!."

Hurst was confused by the prisoner's pure rage aimed at him. "Sorry, we got here as soon as we could. Up that hill and one kilometre you'll find a shuttle it'll take you to our ship."

The human hugged his rifle and gave a look to a large polar and two lapines that had appeared next to him. "Danny, get Kal to the shuttle." He said gesturing at the two lapines. The elder grey one grabbed the younger white rabbit's paw and began to run. Most of the prisoners were heading up the hill. Hurst's men had set up a crossfire on the guards building entrance and were shooting the dragos as they emerged.

Without a further word the human turned and started to run towards the dragos building. He was screaming as he did so, blasting wildly with his rifle. In his wake the polar was charging silently as well and firing with much more control and far better aim.

The human seemed to be powered by pure rage, and he reached the dragos building at a pace any sprinter would be proud of. He blasted a dragos guard in the chest and was inside, a second or two later the bear followed him.

"Should we go after them?" One of Hurst's marines asked.

"No, going in after them would be a really stupid thing to do. We don't know the lay out, or where they are headed and the building is full of armed dragos." He replied as he snapped off another shot taking a guard out cleanly as four dragos ran into the open. His men got the rest in short order. "Shit." The captain said suddenly.

"What is it Sir?"

"Oh, nothing I'm just about to do something really fucking stupid." He replied as he broke into a run. A few seconds later he was inside. His marines stood around dumbfounded for a few seconds. Then coming back to their senses they ushered the last few prisoners towards the shuttle location.

After about five minutes Hurst re-emerged from the building, his face pale. He was followed by the human prisoner and the polar. They were carrying something between them. A humanoid of some description. The polar had two blaster wounds which were pouring blood freely.

"Alright, cover us then pull back." Hurst commanded his remaining men as the three of them headed as fast as they could out of the camp and towards the shuttle. The small shuttle hadn't been able to hold all the prisoners, so far they had made two trips up to the Valiant.

Hurst's men held the ridgeline in case the remaining dragos tried anything. However, it seemed like any dragos survivors had no intention of trying to recapture their charges. He got the human, polar and their companion into the next shuttle. However he remained behind with his men and the last few prisoners. He shuddered as he thought of their companion. For the rest of his life he never forgot what he saw in that dragos building, however, he never spoke about it unless he was really drunk.

Back on the bridge Tyler was waiting patiently as he could. As soon as the final shuttle docked he gave the command and the ship jumped clear. He fidgeted in his chair as reports came in, dozens of prisoners injured. No marine casualties, however, no word on if his love was one of the prisoners.

He couldn't wait any longer, with the ship clear he jumped out of his chair and headed down to the shuttlebay. He looked over the prisoners his eyes searching for his love. His heart sank as he failed to find him, he looked through the tired and bedraggled and emaciated prisoners he grabbed one of the crew. "Get some food down here quickly and some water."

As the crewman dashed off Tyler got a report from Hurst, Captain Jenson was in the medbay along with several other prisoners. He stared at the words for a few seconds as his heart sang to him. He asked Hurst how injured his love was and was deeply relieved to find out he was just staying with two of the occupants of the medbay.

He rushed through the corridors of his ship to the medbay and there he saw him. Gaunt, dirty, his expression dark and focussed as he stood holding the hand of some brown furred prisoner. As he got closer he thought it was a lutrai, but it was hard to tell, he was skin and bones, his face and body battered and bruised almost beyond recognition.

A young white lapine was hugging Richard from one side, for a second his heart stopped. Was this some new lover, had he come all this way only to have lost his love to this young thing. As he stood there staring Richard turned his head and his eyes wandered passed the wolf. Then he snapped his head back sharply his face a pure expression of disbelief and joy.

The wolf smiled back and took a few steps forward, Richard gently broke the hug from the young lapine. A few heartbeats later the two were in each others arms, the human buried his face in the wolf's neck tears soaking the wolf's fur. "You took your time." He whispered.

"I thought you were dead. I only found out you were alive three weeks ago. I was on my way here the same day." The wolf replied nuzzling the human lovingly.

"I've thought about you every day, wondered what you were doing." Sobbed the human. "I...they did things to me. I tried so hard to escape, but there was no way out."

"It's ok you're safe now. We're on our way back to alliance territory." Tyler coo'd reassuringly his arms tightening around the human. He was shocked that the human's body felt so gaunt, he could feel the human's ribs pressing into him. Suddenly he was aware they were being watched by almost everyone in the medbay. The two pulled back from each other reluctantly.

As soon as the human stood clear the young lapine threw himself at the human hugging tightly. "Ah Tyler, this is Kal, he was one of my cellmates. Kal this is the wolf I told you about."

The young rabbit looked up at Tyler. "Hi, Richard said you'd come. He promised he'd get us out and he did. He said he needed to get out cause he'd promised you another date."

The wolf found himself chuckling, as he offered a paw to the young male. "Nice to meet you. He did promise, after all this I hope I can live up to his expectations."

The young male shook his paw cautiously not taking his other arm off from around Richard. As soon as the shake was over his paw returned to hugging the human.

Richard gestured at a grey rabbit sitting next to a bed which a large polar lay on. "That's Danny, the polar is Bruno and this is Rex. They are my cellmates. They helped me survive."

Tyler nodded at Danny who nodded in return, the polar was clearly under sedation. His eyes fell on the lutrai and lingered there. Guessing what was going through Tyler's mind Richard answered the question the wolf would never have had the courage to ask.

"We rebelled when they, tried to take Kal from us. Two of our cellmates were killed and Rex... Rex hit the prison commandant." The rabbit whimpered softly and the human squeezed him reassuringly in his arms. "Hey it's ok now, we are free of that place and he is dead ok. Bruno and I saw him die, he won't ever get his claws on you again."

"I... have to get back to the bridge, please come join me for lunch later." Tyler said to Richard as he reached out lightly touching the human on the shoulder as if making sure Richard really was there.

The next few hours were a logistical nightmare for the wolf. The Valiant had a full crew compliment of seventy including the marines. It wasn't built with passengers in mind and finding space for one hundred and seven recently rescued prisoners was not easy. Most of his crew were doubled if not tripled up in their bunks. A good number of prisoners were housed in the shuttle bay. However, they were packed in like cattle and the wolf spent hours finding places that people could stay during their return journey. Escape pods were filled, several storage closets were emptied into hallways and some of the lesser used corridors were lined with people. The mess hall was packed and Tyler had to review a schedule to allow everyone to eat in shifts.

Still their passengers were all to willing to put up with the cramped conditions. They ate emergency rations like they were finest steak. Every member of the crew had given up whatever clothing they had to spare to get the prisoners out of their rags. His chief engineer threw a fit at the strain put on the water recycling system by the constant showering. In the end Tyler had to set a rota for that as well, to ensure everyone got five minutes a day to wash and no more.

Reading the report from the ships heavily overworked doctor, and his staff of one medic, made the wolf's blood boil with rage. Every prisoner showed signs of borderline malnutrition, many had evidence of old injuries; broken bones that hadn't been set properly, skin diseases let to fester and much worse. There was an entire page on Rex's injuries alone with a personal note from the doctor at the bottom, saying simply 'I took an oath to do no harm if I ever meet the bastard that did this I'll break it'.

'Not if I see him first' Tyler mused as he reached the bottom of the report. He found the report on the polar Bruno and continued his disturbing reading. Voice box removed, will never speak again, two blaster wounds treated and evidence of severe

trauma. He read on finding Kal's file and had to put the file down, he wiping a tear away from his eyes. His emotions inside were raging between extreme sympathy and violent rage. That young boy he'd see was so small, he couldn't be more than fifteen years old.

He wished he'd given the order to fire before they left. To wipe that place and its cruel inhabitants off the face of the planet for good. They were a stain on the very fabric of the universe, a rotting festering carbuncle to be excised with fire. He wanted more than anything to reverse course, to return and kill every one of those bastard lizards. A quick violent death was a mercy they were unworthy of.

The wolf suddenly realised everyone of the bridge was looking at him. In his paw he held the crushed tin that had been his coffee mug and he suddenly realised he'd been screaming obscenities out loud.

Captain Hurst who had been on the bridge to hand in his own report on the rescue mission broke the silence and the tension of the room. "Actually Sir after what I saw I'd say you were being a bit too lenient." A susurration of agreement swept across the bridge, no member of the crew brave enough to speak loudly after hearing their captain's tirade of threats and obscenities.

The wolf took the captain's report muttering a thank you as he left the bridge heading back to his room. He still had the medical report in his paw and as he reached his quarters he glanced at the report on the next prisoner. It was Richard's and for a moment he paused suddenly feeling like he was spying on his lover. He flicked passed the report. Richard could tell him what happened or not, he wasn't going to pry.

Eventually he took the reports from the doctor and Hurst and put them together, attaching them to his own report. He made his report as detailed as he could trying to remain impartial as possible. Someday when the Alliance defeated the Imperium there would be a war crimes tribunal and he would be there to testify and watch the dragos get justice.

Just as he finished the report he heard a knocking at his door. Suddenly remembering his lunch invitation his slammed the intercom and ordered up two meals from the galley. Then dove for the door opening it to find Richard standing there in a slightly greasy jumpsuit that obviously belonged to one of the ships engineers. Attached to his waist was the young Kal, looking a lot cleaner and whiter in a commanders uniform that was way to big for him. His second officer obviously had a softer heart than he'd let on.

"Hi" The wolf said with as big a smile as he could manage to fake. It was hard to look at the child without thinking back to the medical report.

Richard smiled back, "Hey."

"Hi, Danny said he wanted to stay with Rex and Bruno." Kal informed him hurriedly. Tyler knew that Danny had picked up that his invitation had really been just to Richard. Still right now if this kid asked if he could set the wolf on fire he'd hand him a box of matches with a smile.

"Not a problem, I'll just let the galley know to send his meal to the medbay then." It was a smooth response, he could use that excuse to quickly message the galley and increase the food order for his room and get a meal sent to the medbay. He realised they were both standing in his doorway "Come in please. I'd have done this in my ready room where there's an actual table we could have eaten at but it's got six people sleeping in it, so I figured this would be a little better."

He ushered them in and quickly sent a message down to the galley. Kal and Richard sat on his bed and he took his chair by the desk and for a few seconds there was awkward silence. After all, how do you start a conversation with someone who's been held prisoner, beaten and tormented for months if not years? The usual conversational starters such as 'How've you been' or 'what have you been up to' are so far out of the window they are over the horizon.

It was Richard who broke the silence first. "I was wondering if we could get some access to the net, a lot of prisoners have been held for years. They want to know what's happened to their families."

"Not right now, we are on silent running until we are out of dragos space. Once we arrive then of course, I'll speak to my communications officer make sure you all get some time." He replied trying to sound casual, he really wanted to be over next to Richard, holding him and kissing him. However, he could see the young lapine was extremely attached to the human. It wasn't surprising Richard had a natural charm and a good heart. The wolf knew he'd have done everything he could to protect the kid from the worst of what the prison camp could throw at them.

"So a lot's happened in the last few months." Tyler started and then recounted a brief edited version of the war. Glossing over defeats and the plight of the lapines on Prime, he focussed on the victories and the formation of the Alliance. They were interrupted by the arrival of lunch; chilli on baked potato for the human and wolf and baked potato with salad for the rabbit. Talk stopped while they ate, the rabbit attacked his meal ravenously and Richard had to tell him to slow down.

The young lapine blushed deeply and apologised. "I haven't had fresh vegetables since I was... in a long time."

"We have a reasonable stock on board Kal and nobody is going to take your plate away until you are finished." Tyler replied reassuringly, the rabbit nodded in reply but still finished his meal well ahead of the other two.

The three talked for a few hours, eventually Kal fell asleep on Richard's arm and the human lay him down on Tyler's bed. He moved over to sit on the wolf's desk while the two talked in low voices.

"Thank you for this." Richard said quietly.

"No thanks nee..." Tyler began but never got a chance to finish the human silenced him with a hand on his shoulder.

"Yes it is, anyone with half a brain knew you wanted me here alone and you could have made that known to Kal. You didn't even give the slightest hint, thank you for making him welcome." The human paused and lowered his voice his eyes flicking to the sleeping lapine. "He's going to find these next few weeks hard. It may seem strange but he's been in that camp since he was eleven..." Tyler gasped and shuddered in horror as Richard continued. "It's all he's known. It is a world he understood even if he hated it. This world may be better but it'll take him time to understand it."

The human looked back at the sleeping boy. "His parent's were taken with him and he has no close family left. I intend to care for him, I wanted you to know that before... before you decide if you want to continue our relationship."

The wolf physically shock from the shock of this revelation. "I... I..." He stammered and then composing himself he looked up at the human. "I wasn't expecting this, but after reading his medical examination file I can understand why you are doing this. I will do anything I can to help. Not just because I want to be with you, but because he deserves a good life after this childhood."

Richard exhaled deeply, he hadn't realised he'd been holding his breath waiting for the wolf's answer. "Th... thank you. However, there are some other things you should know before you make your choice on me." He couldn't look at the wolf as he tried to figure out what words he could use to explain himself. "I... I was born into a military family, joined the navy on my eighteenth birthday. Duty, honour, integrity are not just words to me they are how I live my life. I have fought in many battles and killed when I had to."

He stopped for a moment trying to get his mind around what he had to say. "In that place, those words didn't mean much. I found myself... doing things I would normally never do..." He was choking on his own tears.

The wolf couldn't help himself he stood up and took the human in his arms holding him tightly. "It's ok you don't have to tell me now or ever if you can't bear to think of it. I understand that in situations like what you just went through the normal rules of society don't apply. I... won't judge you, or think any less of you for what you have done." He coo'd into the human's ear reassuringly.

"No! It matters, I want you to know exactly who you are getting involved with right from the start. I want you to be able to judge me for what I did, for who I became." Richard said pushing the wolf back reluctantly. "They... never fed us enough and they worked us all day. We needed food and, to escape, I needed a communicator off one of the guards. I let them use me for their own sexual gratification, for food and for a chance to escape."

Tyler swallowed his tongue feeling dry in his mouth, his heart was pounding and his stomach was twisting making him feel deeply nauseated. He knew he needed to chose his next words carefully, he could tell how fragile the man in front of him was. "When faced with an impossible situation you discarded pride to escape and to save yourself and others. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear that anyone had to do that let alone someone I... have deep feelings for. However, they do not change my feelings for you. When I met you I saw an honourable proud man who was magnificent, charming and just as dashing as any captain should be and so few are. Those things you have done, they were to escape and to help those in circumstances so dire no civilised person could conceive of them correct?"

Richard nodded to choked up with emotion to speak his tears flowing down his face as the wolf continued. "Who could not love someone who, when the situation is as bleak as yours, finds a way to not only survive but call for help and help others survive."

The human trembled as he heard the wolf use the word love. "There's one more thing I did that you should know before you decide if I warrant that love. About six weeks ago the guards came for Kal, he was in his first heat." He stopped his mind too full of emotion to continue for a moment as he thought back to that dark day. "My cellmates and I tried to stop them... we fought back and lost. The camp commandant, he killed two of us. Snapped their necks and just left their bodies like they were vermin. He took Kal and they... they."

Tyler reached out and squeezed the human's hand "You don't need to say it, I know, I've read the file remember."

Tyler nodded and squeezed the wolf's paw in return. "He couldn't walk when they brought him back to our cell. He doesn't remember too much thanks to his heat, but he has nightmares about it and he's become very attached to me since then."

"You took care of a child in extreme distress again that is not going to do anything but make me think more of you." Tyler said trying to give a reassuring smile.

"No you don't understand, that was just to explain why I did what I did. When we were rescued, I grabbed a blaster from a guard, so did Bruno. We fought our way into the guards' compound. That's when Bruno took two hits, we blasted our way to the commandants office. There we found Rex and the Commandant, unarmed. He was on his knees begging for his life. I... shot him right between his eyes as he did so."

Richard stood silently for a few seconds and then added. "In my military career I've killed a lot of people. However, I have never slaughter someone before. That's what I did to him, I slaughtered him like the animal he was. What's worse looking back on it, I know I can live with that choice." His eyes once again went to the young rabbit. "He needed to know the monster was dead and... so did I."

The wolf sat silently while the human had talked, he looked up at Richard as he finished talking. Then stood up taking the human in his arms he pulled him close and kissed him tenderly and with growing passion, his paws holding the human tightly. As the kiss broke they both gasped for air.

"You... you don't mind?" Richard asked quietly.

"No, I actually knew that already." The wolf replied nuzzling the human's neck. " Captain Hurst told me what he saw you do. He didn't put it in his official report. I know what they did to Rex and after what you have told me I know you did the right thing, what I would have done. If it gives you, Rex, Kal or any of the other prisoners even a moments peace to know he's gone then it is a good thing. There are some people so evil and savage that they do not deserve mercy or justice." Tyler spoke the words with such deep passion that Richard had no doubts that the wolf was speaking from the heart.

The human couldn't think of any words to respond with so he just pressed close, finally returning the embrace. He pressed his lips against the wolf's velvety black lips and kissed him tenderly, closing his eyes as he felt Tyler begin to return the kiss. Their lips parted and their tongues began to dance, Richard moaned deeply into the wolf's mouth. Tyler's heart skipped a beat to feel his love once again in his arms, his lips on Richard's lips, their tongues dancing in a whirl of passion.

Just as Tyler felt his sheath begin to swell in his pants Kal moaned in his sleep and rolled over. They broke their passionate kiss, with a chuckle and a few pants.

Tyler looked at the human he loved. "I've been a parent for less than five minutes and it's already ruining my sex life."

"I don't suppose there's somewhere private we could go?" The human asked without much hope.

The wolf shook his head with a chuckle, "I have people sleeping in the gunnery chairs, escape pods, closets and even the corridors. Privacy is not possible on this vessel."

The human took the wolf by the paw and lead him to the bed saying. "In that case we should get some sleep."

Tyler frowned, "All three of us in the same bed?"

Richard shrugged, "As you said all the other beds are taken. Besides in our cell we had to sleep together for warmth. It'll actually help him sleep to have others around him."

Tyler lay down behind the human, who had lain down next to the lapine. Richard put one arm over his lover and one the other over his adopted child. Soon all three of them slept peacefully.

Tyler awoke first, his arms tightly around what he assumed was his love as his eyes opened he realised, somehow, the young rabbit had gotten in between them during the night. He jumped a little with realisation, the gentle shock waking the rabbit, who yawned and rubbed his eyes before glancing at him. "Morning."

The wolf slowly took his arms from around the young boy he barely knew. "Morning." He replied quietly not wanting to wake the human as he slowly slid out of bed. He'd slept in his clothes and they felt uncomfortably sweaty and creased.

The young rabbit rubbed his eyes again and then followed the wolf, leaving the human to sleep alone. He looked up at the wolf. "What happens now?"

"Now we have breakfast I suppose." The wolf said punching a text communication to the galley.

The young rabbit looked at him lost and confused. "I... I forgot about breakfast." He whispered shamefully.

Tyler smiled and put a reassuring paw on the young male's shoulders. "That's ok, I guess it's been a long time since you've had more than one meal a day." The young male nodded.

Tyler turned leaning against his desk bringing his eyes down to the boy's eye level. "Hey look, you've missed a whole lot in the years you were in that place. It's ok if you forget a few things. Besides I'm pretty sure you'll remember what to do when the pancakes get here, right?"

Kal nodded eagerly then said with a shy smile. "I can see why Richard likes you so much."

Tyler flushed with embarrassment, unsure what to say he stammered a thank you. The he added, "My showers through there, why don't you go get yourself freshened up before breakfast." The rabbit nodded his agreement and headed into the shower room.

The wolf answered the door and received breakfast for three and gently woke Richard. "Time for breakfast."

The human woke up and looked around. "Where's Kal?"

"In the shower." The wolf replied putting the three plates of pancakes and cutlery on his desk.

"Is he ok?" Richard asked urgently as he sat up.

"Well I assume he's wet, other than that I can't image anything much can have happened to him in the last two minutes." Tyler replied calmly.

"Of course." The human replied feeling deeply embarrassed. "Sorry, it's just that in the camp we never let anyone go anywhere alone. The last few months I haven't let Kal out of my sight."

"It's ok sweety you don't have to explain." The wolf said reassuringly as he began to eat his breakfast. "I need to be on duty in ten minutes. Guess I'm showering after my shift."

The next three weeks passed quite quickly. Tyler and Richard grew closer and as the human recovered from his ordeal his physical strength returned along with some of his muscle mass. The wolf also got to know Kal much better as the young male was never more than a few meters from the human.

The wolf took the time to get to know some of the other prisoners, including the rest of Richard's former cellmates. The bear gave him a letter asking him, via the text pad he had been given, to send it as soon as it was possible. Rex was awake now and, while still extremely weak, was recovering the long term prognosis was good. Danny hadn't left the two's side the entire time he had been on board. In fact Tyler couldn't help but notice all the prisoners looked after each other, clustered in small groups never going anywhere alone.

In fact many of them chose to shower together. His crew interpreted this as some sort of carnal relationship between prisoners. The wolf, however, had learned better and knew that this behaviour was just part of the mental scars left by their time in prison.

Still as they grew closer to their destination the wolf's desire for a night alone with his love was growing. It was getting increasing difficult to share his bed with the human and the boy. He had on a few occasions woken with serious cases of morning wood.

Eventually he confided in Danny his desire for just a few hours alone with Richard. The old rabbit hadn't reacted with the distain or disgust he had feared. Instead he had chuckled and offered to keep the young male busy in the med bay for a few hours. Danny found Kal in Tyler's quarters with Richard and informed the young male that Rex was awake and lonely. The old male knew that the only thing that would override the young male's need to be close to his identified father figure was the need to help one of his other cellmates, his extended family.

He ordered as nice a meal as the last of the supplies would allow, rank has its privileges after all. Then headed back to his quarters where Richard was waiting alone. He walked in and greeted him as casually as he could, taking the time to enjoy a lingering kiss.

"There's something I wanted to talk to you about before we have lunch." The wolf said taking a seat next to Richard on the bed. "I was thinking about your plans to look after Kal. There's a colony in the Canine Alliance called Relvos, it was founded fifty years ago. However, there was a bit of a dispute over who really owned it with the Lapine Free State. In the end we chose to share the world. Given that you don't have citizenship with the lapines and Kal doesn't have citizenship with the Human Republic. If you were to become my bondmate, you could both live there without the need to apply for citizenships elsewhere or adoption orders or anything that might risk you getting split apart."

The human chuckled softly, "Did you just ask me to marry you?"

The wolf flushed with embarrassment and smiled a little shyly. "I think I did."

Richard leaned across and kissed the wolf tenderly their lips brushing so softly at first and then stroking against each other feeling the warmth and texture. Their tongues met briefly before the human pulled back with a smile. "In case you didn't know, that was a yes."

The wolf still flush with embarrassment and was about to respond when there was a light knock at the door. "That'll be our food." He said jumping up and dashing to the door. The crewman handed him a tray with two plates, along with a small jar with a single flower of some type in some water. The flower confused him a little but he thanked the crewman and brought the tray in.

"Looks like the last of the actual food is fish." The wolf said a little disappointed, some red meat would have been much more of a romantic meal in his opinion.

The human reached up and picked up the red flower carefully, he sniffed it and smiled. "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet." He looked up at Tyler with a rather sly smile. "You do realise your entire crew knows you're getting laid right."

The wolf almost dropped the plate of fish he had been sniffing with disappointment and slight suspicion. "Wha...where did you get that idea?"

"A rose, they wouldn't have put this here unless they thought their captain was about to hit this." Richard lightly tapped his ass as he spoke.

"I... never... I mean they must have..." He never got a chance to say what they must have. The human leapt out of his chair, threw his arms around the wolf and pressed his lips tightly the Tyler's.

The wolf gasped for a moment and then began to return the kiss passionately his arms embracing the human. His paws sliding down Richard's back pressing their chests together. As the human forced his tongue into the wolf's muzzle, hungrily exploring, stroking across his teeth and tongue. Tyler suckled on the warm pink tongue before deciding that the human had been the aggressor long enough. He forced his much larger and more powerful canine tongue into the human's mouth. Showing his dominance by tasting and exploring anything he wished. His paws slid lower down and over his buttocks squeezing firmly, making the human moan loudly into the wolf's hungry maw.

As their passionate kiss broke the human laughed lightly bopping the wolf's nose with the fragrant flower. "Your crew was right." He backed up unzipping the mechanic jumpsuit he had been loaned. He wasn't wearing anything underneath as he kicked the garment clear he lay back on the wolf's bed and put the stem of the rose between his teeth. Tyler just stood there shocked and aroused, his eyes wandered over the human's body.

He felt himself growling softly with lust and as he noticed the human's erect length he felt his own straining in his pants to be free. The human lightly wriggled his hips, spreading his legs and lifting his feet a little saying. "Come on puppy, stop, drop and lock."

Tyler burst into a giggle as he began to unfasten his shirt. "What?"

"Stop you staring, drop your pants and lock this ass." Richard replied reaching down under himself to lightly spank his exposed rear. Tyler let his pants slip down, his cock fully erect standing proudly out from his crotch, a thick red spear drooling clear liquid bobbing against his thighs as he crawled on the bed and slid up the human's body. Kissing and licking the hot flesh, savouring his mate's sent and flavour. As he reached the human and whispered softly. "Actually the saying is 'tie this ass'." As he spoke the word ass this his paws grabbed the humans bare ass and squeezed firmly making Richard moan loudly.

"I know, but it wouldn't have rhymed, now would it?" Richard replied with a chuckle, his hands stroked up the wolf's back and then cradled his cheeks and he kissed Tyler's lips tenderly. "I used to lay in my cell thinking about you, about how handsome you were. Your beautiful soft dark fur, your dazzling brown soulful eyes, your creamy chest fur, huge balls, awesome cock and your wagging tail, so cute." The human lightly kissed the wolf's forehead. "Now that you're here with me I realise you are so much sexier than I remembered."

Tyler flushed again kissing the human tenderly on the lips, enjoying the heat of the human's body. The feel of his heartbeat as he lay over him, the sensations of the human's fingers as they caressed through his fur. As he pulled back he could not think of words to describe his feelings and thoughts for the beautiful being in bed with him. Instead he simply whispered. "I love you."

He nuzzled lovingly down the human's neck, nipping lightly with his teeth, making the human moan softly. He licked slowly enjoying the mix of salt and his mate's unique sent. Richard ran his hands down the wolf's back and then around onto his chest. Tyler hadn't lost any of his tight muscles, in fact to the human's mind he may have grown even bigger since their last night together.

As the wolf kissed lower down the human's chest he found Richard's erect nipple. He suckled on the nub gently his warm tongue lapping over it in his mouth. The human gasped and squirmed under him, his hands grabbing onto the wolf's shoulders holding him tightly. Tyler chuckled and nipped the nipple lightly with his teeth making the human moan loudly. "I see your 'on buttons' still work."

Richard groaned panting his entire body flushed with heat and desire. He squeezed the wolf's shoulders looking down into those perfect brown eyes. "I need you!" He whispered desperately his body aching with need. Tyler smiled and leaned over kissing the human's other nipple getting another desperate groan of pleasure and lust.

The wolf sat up on his knees, his paws stroking along the need human's inner thighs getting more desperate groans from his lover. "I should prepare you first." He whispered his voice holding a trace of concern, Richard had been through more than enough pain for one person and he didn't want to add any further in lust.

"No, I don't need any, trust me. Just go slow. Please I need to feel you... to connect to you like last time." The wolf's ears sang as he heard those words, he had thought it was just him who had felt that connection last time. He reached down taking hold of his own cock stroking it a few times, gathering drops of his pre and spreading it over his hot length. He could feel his maleness throbbing with need in his paw. His body was craving the human and he wasn't going to deny anyone anything today.

He shuffled forward and carefully guided his cocktip to the human's rear, stroking gently across his moist taint and to his pink bud. Richard moaned and thrust his hips against the gentle probing, forcing the tip inside him. Tyler gasped deeply as he felt his tip slide in so easily, he thrust forward slowly his spearlike tip easily prying the human pucker open. He paused as his full cock head rested inside the rear of his human lover.

Richard writhed on the bed as the cock was thrust into him, his body was desperate to be filled. He looked at his wolf lover, drinking in his mate's perfect body, the creamy chestfur leading down in a thin creamy treasure trail to his dreamy crotch. The thick red wolfhood that was slowly being pressed into him. The look on his partners face as he concentrated on the delicate act of penetration, the concern in his eyes and yet behind he could see animalistic lust, chained up like a beast but drooling and begging to be released.

The two moaned and gasped together as with regular gentle thrusts the wolf slowly worked his thick cock deeper and deeper into the human. The ease of the original entry soon gaveway to a much tighter passage. Richard's body strapped itself around the intruding muscle welcoming it like an old friend. The wolf slowed down, the pre from his cock spraying ahead of his cock, making the human nice and slick. The wolf rolled his hips again and again, slowly filling his love with pre and then slipping a few millimetres deeper with each roll of the hips. The deeper he sank the deeper he sent his pre inside the human.

After what seemed like hours he finally felt his semi formed knot pressing against the human. Tyler stopped with a soft gasp and held still closing his eyes lost in the bliss of the moment. His cock was back where it belonged inside his love. He could feel Richard's heartbeat, tickling his cock as the human moaned and panted his skin glistening with sweat. The wolf inhaled deeply, the scent of their two bodies entwined and their passionate encounter filling his lungs and soul.

His own desires eventually gained control and he pulled his cock out halfway, then thrust back much faster and harder. The human moaned deeply bucking back into the thrust willingly. The wolf leaned over his sexy lover, licking over his sweaty body as his hips began to thrust regularly, building up a good rhythm. The room filled with their moans and gasps, the soft meaty smack of wolf balls on human ass giving the beat to the music of their love.

Tyler leaned forward pressing his lips to Richard's kissing deeply and passionately. Their tongues dancing as their bodies writhed in sensual passion. The heat of their love burning them both driving them to greater heights of passion. The wolf's thrusting getting faster and faster. His heart pounding in his chest, as he squirmed on top of the human. He could feel Richard's heart beating in time with his own, the two as one.

He moaned and gasped into the human's mouth, with each thrust he pressed his now fully formed knot harder against the human's ass. His body screamed at him with need to tie his bitch, to claim him as the wolf's one and only. His paws gripped the human's ass pulling him hard into every thrust as he took the human with strength born of pure, desperate lust.

Richard groaned and grunted deeply as he felt the strength of the wolf's thrusting increase. Even if he wanted he could do nothing to stop his love, his body wouldn't let him it was burning with need. He needed to be taken to be reclaimed, like the last months had never happened. To be washed clean from the stains of his humiliation.

Tyler growled and snarled in sexual frustration his paws gripping tighter, his claws scratching at the human's ass, as he rutted and thrust like a wild animal. His knot pounding harder and harder into the human rear slowly forcing its way deeper, spreading the human's ass wider.

Richard cried out into the wolf's muzzle his body desperate to feel his mate fully inside him. His legs wrapped around the wolf's hips he pulled with them, showing his mate that he could take it and that he wanted it all. Tyler thrust harder and deeper, with each thrust he paused grinding his knot deeper slowly stretching the human wider slowly working his knot deeper.

With one particularly rough thrust and hard grind he felt his knot slip passed the human's tight ring. It expanded inside his mate tying them both together. Tyler broke the kiss growling his eyes glazed over in the heat of their lust. The wolf mated the human violently and passionately breeding his ass with the inch of leeway he had. Until with a blistering searing heat the swirling pounding sensations surrounding his cock and knot brought the wolf to his peak. He cried out into the night, jackhammering his cum deep inside his love, claiming him now and forever.

He lay on top of the human, his head buried between the human's neck and shoulder. Every lungful of air tasted of their hot wonderful passions, he could feel the human beneath him breathing, he could feel every beat of his heart. The heat of their bodies almost unbearable, his fur soaked with sweat as he watched droplets running down the human's skin.

After a few minutes he realised he hadn't seen to his lovers needs. He looked at the human who smiled at him. "I'm sorry... I can finish..." he was interrupted by the human holding up a hand covered in sticky opaque fluid that Tyler's nose told him was his lovers cum. The wolf licked those fingers clean, savouring the musky scent letting it fill him. He leaned forward and kissed the human's lips tenderly and then nuzzled down his neck.

"Now that was worth waiting for." Richard sighed happily, his body relaxing as the two lay together. They exchanged many whispered words of love, holding each other close. Their bodies entwined, legs and arms mingled, hands and paws caressing. Until with exhaustion born of blissful union they fell asleep still tied in their love.

Eventually the two awoke and managed to clean and air the room. When Kal finally returned he showed no sign that he knew what happened. They informed him of their plan to wed and to live on Relvos. He happily agreed to live there, although it was clear to Tyler he would have lived in a sewer if Richard had said that's where he would be.

The next few days passed quickly and happily. Tyler and Richard made plans, Richard was going to take immediate retirement from the navy. Given his time in the prison he was sure no-one would try to stop him. Tyler unfortunately had no such way to leave and he would not be allowed to retire his commission while the war continued. He did promise that he would quit as soon as the war ended and then the three would live together.

The Valiant eventually arrived at it's destination a human space station currently being used as a fleet staging area. The crew of the Valiant was greeted as heroes once the news of their rescue was made public. The prisoners were offloaded onto the station where there was much more space. Tyler bade farewell to the crew of the Valiant. He had only been their captain for six weeks but he felt a strong connection to many of them.

Admiral Harris arrived to welcome Richard back and reluctantly accepted his resignation. Although he did spend a good hour trying to talk him out of it. He also agreed to perform their bond ceremony it was a very small event. Just Richard's cellmates and Admiral Harris in attendance. They didn't even get a honeymoon, as the prisoners were starting to be boarded onto ships to take them home.

Then came the most painful part of their rescue, the cellmates were going to be torn apart. Danny left first, he gave them all a hug and he broke down in tears when he and Kal came to say goodbye. The boy begged him to come to Relvos with him.

"I can't." The old rabbit said between his tears. "I have a mate and two daughters waiting for me at home."

Richard gasped, "All this time together and you never told us you were married?"

Danny smiled and shrugged. "It was too hard for me to talk about. I was worried that I would never see them again, that he would move on."

"But he couldn't give up on a stud like you." Rex said, the otter now in a wheelchair but able to get about on his own for an hour or two a day.

"Actually, he remarried last year. I'm going to meet his other husband, see how things go." The old male said with a blush.

"It'll be fine, you husband's got good taste in men." Richard said with a laugh.

Then a few minutes later the rabbit was gone. It felt strange to the cellmates to have lost one of their company. However, they all had each others contact details and they would never truly be gone from each others lives.

Next it was Rex's turn off on a medical transport his eventual destination the lutrai homeworld. He had tears in his eyes as he looked at his friends and cellmates. "I cannot thank you for what you did for me. When I left my home my father warned me that universe is full of dangerous people. When I was taken by the dragos I knew he was right." The otter looked around at his friends his eyes full of tears. "Then I met you guys and you took care of me, when you had no reason to care. You did thing to help me that I can't even being to thank you for. I... love you all. My father was half right, the universe is full of dangerous people and wonderful people in equal measure. I won't forget you and I promise when I get home I will honour Larry and Jasper for what they did."

The otter shared hugs and kisses with the cellmates and then his nurse started to take him away. As they did so the otter turned saying, "My family owns a string of islands on Lutra, come visit me and I will throw one hell of a party for you. Roast a dozen Ythra fish and I can thank you properly."

Next it was the turn of the silent bear he was catching a ship to Equos on the far edges of known space. Kal asked him why he wasn't going home to Polar.

The bear handed him his text pad and Kal read it aloud for everyone. "I can never go home little one, I have been defiled and would be seen as unpure. Without my voice I can never sing the songs of contrition, I can never be forgiven or accepted back."

Kal looked up at the bear as he handed him the tablet back. "I am so sorry."

The bear typed his reply and ruffled Kal's hair as he handed over the tablet. "It's not your fault little one and do not be sad. I am alive and free that is more than I hoped for. Thank you for everything. I will never forget you." The bear gave the boy a warm hug and then boarded his transport.

The final goodbye was for Tyler who had to get a ship back to the Jarrow and return to active duty. He gave Richard a passionate kissing, holding tightly to the human and as the separated he sighed. "We never seem to have enough time."

The human smiled at him and leaned in to kiss the wolf's cheek. "Just a few more months and we'll have all the time in the world. I've waited this long I can wait until the war is over. Just make sure you don't do something stupid. I want my husband to come home in one piece."

Tyler smiled and then leant down to hug the young boy whispering, "Take care of him for me."

Kal returned the hug and nodded solemnly. "Thank you for rescuing us."

The wolf gave the human one last hug and kiss before reluctantly boarding his transport. He turned around as the door closed his eyes fixed on the human and small rabbit, his new family. He was so happy to have gotten his love and a new family that the pain of the separation was dulled nicely. He watched the two until the ship launched and they shot out of his vision.
