Night tries to find meaning in killing

I tossed up the pins and looked around where is he? I turned to the lion tamer who shook his head. Where can he be? I closed my eyes and continued to jugle as the act was coming to a close I haven't done my share of work in a long time I have to make this act count. I heard people clap and whistle as Clown came over handing me the secret pin. I shook my head whispering over to him "I can't find him do you know where he is at?" "He is in the back row section D don't mess it up if you can't do it without anyone noticing it we are going to be killed." I looked over and saw him laughing with what seemed to be bussnies people. I lifted the secret pin and took aim as I tossed the rest up in the air. If I miss we die if I hit we get our reward. I sighed a bit and saw his friends looking away. I fired quickly and tossed the pin into the air with the rest. Ok, now for the final stance I tossed them into the sky going on my hands catching the pins on my feet. The crowd clapped loudly, but I could hear the scream of the man's friends. I jumped up kicking the pins to the sky. I landed on my feet and began to walk away grabbing the pins as they fell down.
"Good work Night. Take a break as I call out the final act get ready to move to the next location...and pick you things together." "Yes sir." I saw Dawn, packing up all ready "Hey Dawn, I heard they loved your performance." She turned around her face wipped clean of make up leaving only her pale face with piercing gold eyes. "By your pace I can assume I don't need to rush then right?" I nodded my head as she went back putting her stuff away. "Don't forget to put that thing in the fire." I looked at the pin to most they will think it's a regular pin, but if they broke it open they will find out it is a gun. I walked over to the fire place the fire roared towards me as if wanting me to burn for my sins. I tossed the pin in as it began to be consumed by the fire. This is my life of sin this is Sin Circus. I wandered around until it was time to go.
We're now in a new city where we have to do the work again. I am glad I didn't have to do it this time. It was now Dawn's turn to be the assassin. "I really do hope you don't get caught. Like I did before." Dawn walked over to me and laughed " I'm not as reckless as you are sugar. I am in the top league. It will be a miracle if they catch though." I laughed as the range master came "Now you two be quite! And Dawn I expect a perfect performance." "Yes sir ringmaster." It's weird though we've known each other for years and we don't even know our own names. My real name is actually Stephen, but ever since I entered sin circus my name became Night. The circus changes name every time we go to a new city. Before we were called shadow parade, but now in this city we are known as the dancing freaks. I don't even remember when I first entered here anymore. Today we are performing for a little girl's birthday party. Her father is a ceo, and have been robbing people blind of their money. Today will be my last performance. I'm not sure where I will be heading after I escape, but all I know I don't want to live like this anymore. All I do is kill and kill. "The best killers are those who put on an act." I turned and saw Clown with his white make-up on adjusting his hat. "What?" He brushed aside the hair he had on his shoulder "I know that face you have on and it's not a good one for you." "I...don't know what you are talking about Clown." He laughed a bit putting my mask on for me "Night I think of you as my kid, and I know what you are thinking killing isn't good killing is horrible." I looked at him surprised "Then why do you keep doing it!" He covered my mouth as ring master came by "Hurry up you two the show is about to start." "We'll be right there me and Night are talking about the next act about how we should try something together." "Just hurry up and focus on this one we can't have them thinking twice on why we are here." He walked away as Clown moved his hand away "You have to trust me Night you can't run away from Sin Circus." I looked into his eyes and saw fear was it fear for me or fear of the circus. "Ok...I just hope we are doing this for a reason..." "We are trust me one day I don't know when but I will show you we are." He patted my head and walked in.
It's been years since I last saw Clown I am now in the advance circus group in a new circus group called Perfectly Sinned. My team is filled with Shadow, Laugh, Dance, and Twilight. They are far more skilled than I am. Shadow does magic show and can stab the target with ease I'm still trying to figure out how he does it. Laugh tells the best jokes that you can laugh your self to death. Dance is a wonderful dancer she leaps into the air and drops down glitter as she dances on the tight ropes. No one sees her tossing that knife with all that glitter too she is a true assasin. But, i think Twilight can beat her, ah Twilight so fast with those needles. He all ways hits his mark. We now get shares of the kills. I knew that the more I kill the more I can survive. "Night today you are killing a runaway." "Why would they go to a circus when they know the line of work we do?" "We...don't know, but he is here tonight. Kill him at all costs." I nodded my head as they gave me a picture of a plain man. Nothing special here I wonder which of the five Sins he came from.
I looked into the crowd as I began to jugle the six pins as I looked around. "Now where can he be..." "Night!" I looked and saw the man in section B waving his arms up into the sky. "Fool making it easy to catch you." I aimmed as he shouted out loud "It's me Clown!" I stopped and looked at him the pins fell to the ground as the lights went out. I think Twilight pulled me out. "Clown..." He escaped why... "Night! I finally found you!" Laugh and Shadow blocked his path. "I found the reason at last." He offered his hand as I reached for it. "Clown...I thought you died!" I ran to him holding him tight. The way to enter Perfectly Sinned is to kill the one closest to you. Clown was the closest person to me. I was sure that I killed him though. His body was on the ground and cold. I was sure, but I'm so glad that I didn't. "Did you..." I turned and saw Laugh began his joke I tried to tell Clown to cover his ears, but Shadow killed him by stabbing him in the back. He was done wait then why is Laugh saying...The rest had ear plugs in as I began to laugh. No stop I have to stop...Oh god I-I can't breath...
