#3 of Ending the world

It was becoming quite apparent to the young wolf that hanging out with his new friends was never going to be boring. He looked down at his feet, which were actually kicking behind his body at the moment. A certain leopard had been charging through the hallways fast enough that his light frame body was waving about like a flag. He sighed watching as students clambered to the walls either listening to Blake's shouts of "GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY" or because they got a flailing wolf foot to the head.

He would shout sorry to any of the times he knew his feet made contact with another student and even to some girls as their skirts got lifted up from the leopard's vacuum exposing the highly coveted undergarments to any fur who thought it worth while. Tsuki sighed again as he looked up to see Blake running.

"Aren't we there yet?" he said calmly with even a small smile masking his face thinking the comment was completely innocent. Blake turned his head glaring in pure rage making Tsuki's ears splay.

"DON'T START WITH ME!!!!" The pard yelled as the turned a corner knocking a group of students into a random classroom. The wolf shut up then and there watching the scenery fly by. He soon noticed they were outside and running to a rather large and circular looking building on the far side of the campus. The Complex... he thought while taking in it's sight.

There wasn't much to the outside of the building except for the fact that it was round and flat. It wasn't domed and he could see no windows anywhere on it's smooth surface. In fact if it wasn't for the one set of double doors he could have sworn it was just a giant block of white on the face of the planet as far as he was concerned. But because of those measly doors, his stomach was filled with butterflys. Because of those two doors his ears perked in curiousity.

Standing outside the building was Instructer Devon from before as he seemed to be looking at his watch counting down the final seconds. Blake charged like crazy just making it to the doors in time.

"You made it by .83 seconds you two. Congratulations on being 'early'. " The lemur congratulated them as the doors slid open behind him. He looked back seeing the other students making a break for the building. He sighed gesturing the two students to get inside as he followed behind them. The doors slid close with a whoosh taking out any noise from the late students banging on them from outside. "I said 1330 and I meant it." He said icely, but there was a note of eager humor trying to escape that comment.

The room the three were in was just as white as the outside. In fact, if it wasn't for the uniform the white wolf would have blended into the walls perfectly. The lighting didn't help much either as it made the room seem even brighter than it should have been. The lemur was looking at his circuit again as he seemed to have recieved some message. His head nodded in agreement to whatever he was reading. Looking up he gestured for the two furs to turn their circuits on putting a claw to his lips so they stayed quiet. They complied with their teacher and as soon as their circuits fully loaded a high pitched frequency screamed through the room quietly humming. Soon it stopped and there was a chime that made Instructer Devon smile.

"Okay boys. Don't be alarmed by that. We were only using a special program that did a sort of systems check to see that your circuits were running properly, and they check out just fine. So now I'll be going. Once I do you two will enter through those doors, "He gestured to the set that lead further inside, "after I leave holding back your... lazy peers, who'll have to wait until next week." His smile seemed almost wicked as he saluted them good luck walking outside to the horde of whining students.

"Well isn't he a sadist," Tsuki said thinking out loud. He turned to Blake who just shrugged it off with a grin. They turned in the direction of the doors that seemed to open as if on cue to their thoughts. They walked inside looking around, but pitch black darkness was all they could see except for the opening they came in. That is until it closed behind them encasing the two in a blanket of shadows. They looked at each other or so they hoped they were looking at eachother considering they couldn't see the muzzles on their faces it was so dark.A flash of light beaconed out to the far away making them cover their eyes in pain.

"Ah! Was that really necessary?" complained the pard. "I guess they want us to go that way." He began walking towrds the light with the wolf in tow. As they walked they began to notice that they were slowly decending as they got closer.

"We must be heading through a tunnel," said Tsuki stating the obvious, not really caring, "But it just seems strange that they would have us descending considering how big the place is already. What could be so.... Oh my..." His question was answered before he could even finish as they walked through the exit looking at what appeared to be an underground pillar that looked like a tower almost if it weren't for the fact that it seemed to be holding the ceiling up on it's own. There was a door leading inside it with iron bars decorating it nicely. Tsuki was looking at it in awe while Blake tried to open the door. Surprisingly it opened easily to his touch, walking in after calling the wolf over.

Inside they found it to be one giant room with a spiraling ramp along the wall heading upwards. There were lit torch stands and sconces lighting the room quite well for it's vastness. looking in the center of the room they could see a round pedestal under spotlight with some sort of object on it. The leopard went up to it and examined the stand from a few feet away noticing that the object was a stuffed teddy bear with a bowtie around it's neck. The pard frowned in disappointment as to how this place was turning out. It was supposed to be the hardest test they would ever do at the Acadamy and so far they had been running around blind and with no real objective in mind except to keep walking forward.

The wolf on the other hand was walking around the wall touching it and seeing just how strong it really was. It looked like it was just dug out and not shaped into anything which confused the wolf greatly considering the size of the place.

"So... Now what?" said Tsuki turning to Blake who looked up from being lost in thought. "I can't really see any objective to being here other than... well... leave."

"I know what you mean," Blake replied, " And this teddy bear just sitting here doesn't seem to hold any purpose that I can see other than for decoration." He scratched his head.

"This has to be a trick. I just know it. I want to know what it is and how we can move around it." The wolf walked over to his companion to look at the bear also.

There was a moment of silence the two shared staring at the bear, the pedestal, and the ground only moving to scratch an itch or cough.

"Ok, fuck this," Blake said turning away and walking to the ramp. "We aren't getting anywhere standing and staring. I'm going to head up and see where we go. How about you?" The reply he got was of Tsuki running up and matching his stride next to him as they started the long trek upwards. Go around and around to the top of the tower. The thought of how they fit something like this in the complex was astounding to them.

When the reached the top of the ramp it put them on a platform connected to a bridge that led to another set of iron cast doors. They turned to eachother shrugging again walking towards the bridge to what they presumed to be the exit. Before they could cross the bridge, they were stopped by a loud bang and an explosion of fire right in the middle of the bridge stopping them in their tracks.

Turning around they saw a distortion happen through the air where the short came from as a giant mech appeared from under a stealth cloak. It held what appeared to be a missle launcher in one arm, and a long sword in the other. There were two satelites floating by it's head shifting about like cameras, but they could possibly have been small lasers.

"An Omega!!!" shouted the leopard. "But, but, why is it here? And attacking us?! This is a non-combative test!!!" He grabbed his shuriken and held it at the ready watching the mech get ready for another shot.

"I don't know, but what if it actually is the test?" Tsuki said, trying to stay calm. "They actually expect us to take down an Omega though? That's nearly impossible without having to somehow negate it's navigation systems." He took out one of his slips of paper and got himself ready to fight. The Omega let off a strange pulse of energy that seemed to ring in both fur's ears. The next thing they knew their circuits were beeping and making odd patterns going haywire.

"Augh!! It's a frequency bug! I didn't know they had perfected them yet." This put a worry on the wolf's face.

"That means we can't contact anyone for help!!!" The leopard was panicing almost forgeting the fact that the Omega was aiming it's gun at them charging it's next shot. The satelites flew over head and each one began targeting one of the two furs shooting lasers at them. They dodged them easily jumping and rolling about, making it hard to target them. The leopard began throwing his shuriken at the giant machine only successfully scratching it's coat of paint. He watched from the corner of his eye as the wolf dodged a laser and deflected a missle with a wall of his paper slips making a mental note to ask him how he did that later. He took out some senbaum and chucked them at the laser satelite attacking him. It fell a second later looking like a metallic pin cushion.

"BLAKE!!! HELP!!!" Tsuki cried as he seemed to be trying to hold off his own satelite and the Omega's attacks. He was getting pushed closer and closer to the edge of the platform. The leopard charged into action throwing more needles at the satelite quickly making small work of that. He grabbed his shuriken and timing the charge of the missle launcher he threw it at the barrel making the missle explode inside taking the Omega's left arm off in the process.

This gave Tsuki time to reposition himself. The glyph designs on his body began to glow as the energy collected around his paws getting ready to use a Senku Art. Blake watched after catching his weapon in amazement knowing that he could be able to do that too once he got a tattoo.

"Quetzacotl!" The energy transformed into a giant bird made entirely out of lightning as it soared straight at the Omega crashing into the broken arm creating an electromagnetic explosion in a small bubble around the weapon frying it's wires and breaking more of it's armor before it finally exploded altogether.

The boys made a break for the doors; crashing through them and ending back in the white entrance room where they had started. Instructer Devon stood there clapping in front of them with small smile acrossed his face.

"Well it looks like you boys passed," he said holding out his hand," Now may I have the teddy bear?" The two students just looked at eachother in shock.

"Um, well... The thing is sir...," Blake began.

"We don't have the bear," Tsuki finished. "You never told us we had to do anything with the bear so we just left it on the pedestal down in the tower." This brought a surprised look on the lemur's face.

"You didn't take the bear?" He asked. The two nodded at him. "Then why in the world do you guys look so worn out and beaten? The traps were only supposed to go off if you took the bear."

"Well sir, we were attacked by someone in an Omega, with obvious intent to take our lives." This brought an even bigger shock to the instructer's face. "If it wasn't for a stroke of luck and team work I don't think either of us would be here now."

"I see. Yes well either way you two have passed and will be going into the Final Exam in three days time so I suggest you two go ahead and rest up okay?" The lemur was scratching his chin in concern. "Don't worry about what happened today though. I'll be looking into the matter personally and see as to why there was an Omega in there in the first place." With that the Instructer dismissed them from the building with a congratulatory salute.

On the walk back to get inside the Acadamy, they took note of how late it was noticing that they missed dinner. It was a surprise to them, because it didn't feel like they had even been there for very long at all. As the reached the entrance to the dorms the leopard stretched and yawned feeling the strain of the long day they just had.

"Well I guess this is goodnight huh?" He said.

"Yeah," replied Tsuki. "I'll have everything ready for tomorrow if you guys want to get the tattoos done. I'll meet you all in the cafeteria for breakfast and then we can go from there." He walked down to his room after waving goodbye to the pard who just stood there waving back.

A smile crossed the feline's face as he started to go up the stairs, he needed to go do something important and took a detour to a certain hybrid's room giving it a few swift knocks in an odd parttern. There were sounds of movement and disgruntled voices on the other side of the door.

"Come in Blake it's open," he heard the folf say. The door swung open and in walked the leopard who immediatly covered his nose for a second trying to get used to the air with the door closing behind him. The only difference between his room and Essex's was the fact that instead of band posters, the hybrid had pictures and page spreads of his magazine covering half the room with a giant billboard of all the favorite shots the folf took throughout the years.

On the bed was the folf, completely naked, with his back to the leopard. His tails slowly wagging around and around as he seemed to be hunched over something lying on the bed under him. The smell of sex just beginning to permeate through the air. The leopard could feel his own groin twitch in excitement for what he saw. There under the folf was a certain black wolf who's paws were tied to a corner of the bed above and behind his head as a simple dog collar and tag were around his neck.

"Hey Blake. What took you so long? You missed dinner," J said like there was nothing wrong with this scene at all poking his head around the folf's shoulder. The folf still nibbling annd sucking at the wolf's neck trying to kep things going. "Did you have trouble with the booby traps or what?" The leopard scratched his head taking his own clothes off and jumping in bed with the other two. He got in between the folf and wolf and snuggled on the furry giant.

"Yeah... I guess you could... say that," Blake said yawning and beginning to fall asleep purring loudly. But then he stopped and opened his eyes. "Aren't we going to discuss something tonight?" He asked sleepily.

"Oh you mean about things today?" replied Essex with his own question. scratching behind the pard's ears. "Well I don't know about you guys, but I want to get a tattoo. Heretic or not. And as for Tsuki. I agree with what J was saying earlier." This made Blake shift himslef to look up at the still tied up wolf.

"I want a tattoo also," J started off looking at the ceiling. "It will be useful, and I honestly want to study it a little more myself. What better way to do that then to be able to use it first hand?" Blake nodded in agreement. "So then I guess we are all going to be heretics now huh? Well that suits us fine I guess. And What Ess meant about Tsuki is that. There was a connection wasn't there?" The leopard and folf both nodded in response. "And are there any objections then?" There was a moment of silence. "Well then I guess that speaks for itself."

"We should probably tell him soon so he knows, and has time to think about it." said Blake yawning again.

"I'll just make a quick call to set up the arrangements ok?" said Essex who didn't wait for a reply and went to his computer and called someone on the other line. "Hey! Long time no see... Yes... In three days... A new one, correct... and three new tags to match ok? Can you have them done and delivered tonight? Yes, I know I know.... Thanks. Bye!" The call sounded familiar enough to the other two, but would have made little to no sense to any who tried to listen in. The folf sighed and turned back to his occupied bed. Noticing that Blake had fallen asllep he groaned.

Essex grumbled something about almost getting some, untieing the wolf and snuggling himself with the other two after turning the lights off to the sounds of J chuckling quietly and Blake purring.
