Song Lyrics: Supernova
I'm sorry there's no chorus; I couldn't think of one.
I envision this as an upbeat, alternative-rock style song, with 3 different singers. Most of it would be sang by a lead singer and two background. The lead would also do the folf's dialogue. One background singer would do the star's dialogue, the other, the dragon's. And of course, the star's would be done by a woman.
Just something I wrote today, while thinking of a lot.
<Intro, soft>She sat there, a star shining bright in her tears...
Fought over by two men, each inflicting on her fears...
Of who... To choose...
<More energetic>Said the dragon, with wings of black,
"I'll love you, and that will never lack"
--While he cheated on her behind her back
Whispered in her ear, the blue folf filled with fears,
"I'll never let him hurt you again"
--While inside, his own problems rend
Grasped by a dark, corrupted claw
Reached out for by a loving, gentle paw
--Pulled at two different sides
Inside of her, her love would collide
<soft>The star sat there, shining bright,
Choosing between her white, shining knight
And the darkness, clouding her like the end of the night...
<Energetic>The folf cried out, at her, he said,
"I can't take any of this anymore, won't you be mine until the end?!"
The dragon snarled, at her, he said,
"I've been here from the start, and I will be here to see your end!"
The folf, the star, in misery,
The dragon on yet another mating spree--
She finally cried out, she spoke, she said,
"Why can't you see what you've done to me?!"
