Silence
Hour after hour, I kept my breath silent as the darkness gently blanketed the room. Only the whispers of shadows and the quiet corners could be heard. While I dreamed, a breeze or two would kindly graze over me and I would thank them with a relaxed smile. Outside, the dark veil was not as restful. A thundering whisper, a nightly orchestra played its tune. Chirps and chimes flooded from the backyard, driving away the silence in my room and filling it with nature's nocturnal melody just to help me dive further into my dreams.
