Utah stared at the unconscious body of the bulky red monster in front of her, her breath heavy and the red haze in her eyes beginning to subside. Her grip on the folding chair loosened and it hit the ground with a brass clang . Realising what she just did she quickly slumped to her armored knees and reached under the monster, trying to flip it over and check its pulse.

„No, no, no..." She muttered under her breath, her metallic arms shaking and hoping that blood wasnt on them. With a bit of effort the KO'ed creature was rolled over and Utah leaned her armored head against the fallen monsters chest. A pulse was still there, good. Breaths of relief escaped from the huntress's mouth for a few minutes before standing up and activating her suits diagnostics with a quick mental impulse. What she saw surprised her...

Everything except the auxiliary power supply was busted. Her cloak, her teleporter, her frickin auto-repair system ; None of them appeared to be in working order. Her check-up was suddenly interrupted by a noise: footsteps, armored and heavy just like that of the red monsters, appeared to be getting closer and closer.

If the pace of the footsteps was to be believed she wont have time to funnel through her assailants pockets for a key and escape before the cavalry arrives, as the Americans would say. Knowing no other option right away she leapt sideways into the shadowy part of the room, making as silent of a clank as possible.

As the iron-barred doors swung open with a loud creak she had a good look at her assailants form. Also large, (presumably) male and wearing the same bone armor as the torturer. However his race was different than the last ones. This creatures skin was green, dark green tentacles sprouting from his head resembling the old hairstyle known as „dreadlocks". All of the guards facial features except his blood red cat eyes were concealed by a face mask made from another mans skull.

Her eyes dilated in terror as she wondered as to how they make these suits of armor, especially the headgear. This disturbing train of thought was interrupted by her noticing that the guard left the doors to the cell wide-open for her.

As the guard knelt over his downed colleagues body with the kind of dispassion one would expect from a turnip Utah began to slowly creep her way towards the open door, trying to be as stealthy as possible. Or as stealthy as a malfuncitoning suit of armor could be anyhow.

That being not very as the hunched greenskin heard the metal rustlings of her armor and darted his head at the shadows from where the noise came from. Spotting her his red eyes dilated disturbingly and a bit of spittle began to form around the left side of his mask. She was on the menu, and he was going to have her.

Again it was now or never. Utah bolted towards the open doorway in a staggering rush as the green alien lunged at where she was hiding and smacked face-first into the wall as his victim moved out of the way. The red fox heroine looked around quickly and noticed a pitch black hallway stretching to her left with what appeared to be a lit stairway on the far left end of it. It was her only shot at freedom and she was gonna take it.

Not having time to waste she began to run as fast her armored legs allowed her to; As she was running closer and closer to the light she began to feel hope again.

Meanwhile the green-skinned alien was straightening himself up after his full-speed wall crash, standing up and pressing two buttons on the bone decorated wrist computer on his left hand. On the computer a dark green screen with a green grid layed over it lit up, displaying an alien of the same race as the red creature, sporting a full face helmet made out of the skull of a member of his own kind.

„Something to report Disciple?"

„Yeah." The green-skin cracked his neck left and right while a cocky expression formed on his masked face. „We got a runner."
