Pasta. (Short Story)
#1 of Short Stories
Hey guys, this is just a short story I thought I'd write because Boris Hickory gave me the idea in the chatroom and James The Fox was there, so I decided to add them as the characters.. Enjoy reading, this was out of sheer boredom..
I scavange through the cupboards looking for something to eat.
"James! Boris! What do you want to eat?" I say loudly. As always I get the reply...
"Pasta!" my simple reply? "Please not again.." I keep searching my cabinents for food..
No luck just.. Pasta.. Pasta everywhere. I finally give in to the chanting.
"Lets eat pasta. Lets eat Pasta 'That's enough!'" silence... Nope.. that didn't last long
Cheering from them both "YAY! Woo!" I simply facepaw. I take out the box of pasta with some spaghetti sauce
and put the pasta into water and turn the stove on to high. Moments later I come back to find boiling hot water
I throw the pasta into there setting the timer on the oven for eight minutes, I put the spaghetti sauce into a pan
to warm it up until the noodels are ready. Eight minutes later the beeper goes off, taking the pasta off the
heater I drain the water. after all the water was drained I simply dump the spaghetti sauce into the pan
and stir it. I pull three bowls out of the cupboard and a spoon and fork I place the silverware and bowls
infront of them.. to find them attacking the spaghetti without another word. once they were finished gathering
there food I find that there is very little left. I take what is left and eat it elegantly, watching them eat like pigs
"Napkins are usefull".. dead silence, I look up to see them both staring at me "HA, you think we're humans?"
"Uhm.. No?".. More silence "Okay then! Dig in!" and they go back to eating like pigs. Once all the food was gone
They leave to go play more video games and being loud, leaving me to do dishes "All the work. Like always."
I finish up with dishes to find them both passed out cuddling each other "D'awh, how cute, I guess I could use some sleep too"
So I crawl into the middle of the too and fall asleep with the too wrapping there arms around me, making me feel warm and safe.
