Chapter 1 One day as shenzi and the rest of trio had just finished hunting zebras but hadn't caught any thing. As they started to walk away some thing ran in to shenzi she turned and look down and saw two little baby hyenas "what are they" Banzai asked "there hyena babies you dummy now come on" shenzi said she turned to leave then she started hear a whimper "now I told you" as she was turning she saw the two babies with tears in their eyes then they ran up to her and looked her in the eyes still with tears in there eyes and hugged her then Ed started to cry " you can't just leave them here can you"banzai said "fine we can keep them but only until we find their mother okay "okay" "what are we going to call them we just can't keep calling them them can we" asked banzai "of coarse not but before we do that we need to now what they are" "you told us what they were" "no no no I mean their gender" "oh okay I'm not looking you do it no you" as they fought Ed went over picked up one then banzai and shenzi realized what he was doing then Ed pointed to shenzi "me"? "yes you you are a girl in decanting the baby he was holding is a girl" banzai said then Ed picked up the other one pointing to banzai "that one is a boy" Banzai said "I get it you stupid" Shenzi said then shenzi circled the cubs she then picked up the girl " this one is sloan" shenzi said then banzai did the same thing she did to the girl cub he picked up the boy "his name is Amiri" "okay we got that do now lets go" shenzi picked up the girl and Ed picked up the boy as they were walking banzai just watched as shenzi cared sloan and smile then she saw banzai staring at he smiling she stopped and put the little one down she turned to banzai "what" she said "you look like a mom when you carry her" banzai replied "well I never was and maybe never will okay" she picked her up again and walked off Banzai just watched and started to think to him self ,just maybe just maybe then he trotted off . They walked for a hour Amiri started to whimper and then so did sloan so they stopped and set them down shenzi look at the cub then all of a sudden sloan was knocked down by Amiri shenzi let out a giggle but caught her self "did you just giggle at the cubs" said banzai shenzi blushed "no I had some thing in my throat but I got it out lets get going" shenzi said she turned to pick up the cub but they weren't there! "Where did they go" she said out like a scared mother tying to find her cubs they all searched for them then shenzi looked up the cubs were playing around a hole in the ground then one of them pulled out a red headed meerkat the little cub picked up the meerkat like a mother picking up a cub then they run over to shenzi sloan put down the meerkat and put his paw on it so it couldn't get away and then she looked up and smiled at her then banzai came over and looked at the meerkat "hay they caught that meerkat son the only one with red hair" they all laugh then they heard some thing " I am not pleading for my life I just what this to go fast " said the little meerkat so then shenzi put a paw on the meerkat and winked at the cub then cub let go shenzi then picked up the meerkat the same way the cub and brought to a tree with vines on it and tied him up " oh so torture me first be for you eat me" said the meerkat "were not going to eat you" shenzi said then banzai came over "were not why not" he said "because he's to small and he doesn't even have hardly any meat on him" she said "thank you so why did you tie me up then" timon said "because the kids need to learn to hunt then she untied Timon and tied him to her paw the cubs cased him all over finally they caught him then she picked up timon again and carried him back to his home timon then said "so are we friends are we" "no" said banzai then she dropped him in the hole and walked a way then they heard a thanks coming from the hole when they were a mile from the hole the cubs started to nudge Shenzi in the stomach with there mouth "now what" said shenzi with a ouch they were now starting to bite her "I think their hungry" said banzai "you think" Shenzi "I see a zebra herd up a head you stay here with the cubs we will go hunt" as banzai and Ed ran off Shenzi just went over to a tree and laid down with the cubs as soon as she put her head down the cubs were fast a sleep so she took a nap.
