Komamura sensei slowly eased back into the room to see Kitsu and I both practicing the motions that he had instructed us, my weapon zandatci and Kitsu's weapon nushida had helped us cope with the reality that both of us were dead. Zandatci in her true form was a sword that resembled the grim reapers scythe, at the top of the blade it curves back down into itself. Nushida in his true form is a pair of nun-chuks that had blades at the ends that measured 7 inches out and resembled a set of knee-cappers that would be on the wheels of chariots, komamura sensei stood from his seated position and walked over to Kitsu, Kitsu bowed to him when he stepped near. I wasn't sure as to what they were saying but I simply continued on with the motions. Komamura walked over and tapped me on the shoulder.
"You see to have the motions down but are you truly moving with your weapon?" Komamura said, the question swam around in my head for a moment before an answer to mind.
"I feel that I am and zandatci hasn't said anything otherwise." I replied to captain komamura before he grabbed his sword from the sheath on his hip and stepped into the first step of kata one.
"You must remember, your zanpacto is literally an extension of your soul. The weirder does not lead the weapon, the weapon leads the wielded." Captain komamura explained to me as he lead me through the motions of kata one and two, strangely when he lead me through it zandatci and I felt more in tune with each other, just before the end of kata two vice-captain Tousen ran into the building and fell before captain komamura. The heavy wheezing sound behind each breath symbolized that he had been near sprinting, komamura motioned for him to stand up and he did but slowly as if he had been hurt by something. I looked the vice-captain in the eye through his purple shaded visor and it looked like he had been in a fight, but what could make a vice-captain wheeze that much and appear to be in that much pain? Captain Komamura and Tousen both stepped outside when Kitsu and I both gave a puzzled look towards the pair of leaders, Kitsu walked over to me after putting nushida back into his sheath that was strapped to his back. I placed zandatci back into her sheath and watch as Kitsu got closer.
"What do you think could make Tousen act like that?" Kitsu asked me. I thought about the question for a moment before coming up with an answer.
"Do you think an espada could have gotten through the gate?" I asked Kitsu, he only gave me a look that implied insanity. I was told that an espada was the second strongest type of hollow that the soul reapers fight, almost as strong as an arancar.
