-Steele

*Edit: think i got most of the major mistakes as well as some of the smaller ones. I think all that's left is minor grammar issues but other then that it should be fine.

Steele awoke slowly from the dream, realizing that that was all it was. He had a nightmare, a recurring one in fact as it was about the day his family died. He saw smoke from on one side of a hill and as he ran to the top, he saw a flash of a large shape go past him far above. With horror, Steele looked over the hill to see his family home ablaze, the charred corpses of his family strewn about.

Shaking the memory away, Steele brought himself out of bed and made his way to the doorway that lead to a balcony outside. Here he tossed the curtains to the side and blinked when the mid-morning sun greeted him. Once again, Steele was confused as most dragons woke their slaves up well before the sun even showed a hint of arrival. So why was he awake at what appeared to be near noon and he had not yet be scolded for his action?

With a shrug, Steele walked back into his moderate room and threw his ragged clothing back on. He had nothing else to wear and he frankly didn't really care. All he knew was that he was a slave to a slut of a dragon and that's that. If she wanted him to be all dressed up for an event, she would get some slave cloths that were in better condition.

Speaking of dragon, Steele heard the distinct sound of dragon wings flapping and he turned to see his new mistress land on the balcony. In her mouth was a parcel, of what was inside , he did not know but he suspected it had something to do for today as she placed it gently on his small bed.

"What's this then?" he asked the gold dragon who turned her green eyes to him. With a blush, she turned away. This caused him to laugh as he finished dressing with the back of the dragon turned to him. "Surprised your being modest."

Walking over, Steele unwrapped the package and found fancy clothes inside. Nothing special, just some dress pants, shoes and a plain white shirt. With a frown, Steele took the clothing out to the balcony, much to the curiosity of the dragon, and tossed them over the side. He turned around to see the dragon leap after the cloths from the corner of his eye, but he continued on as though nothing out of the ordinary had just happened.

"Do you know how long it took for me to find these for you?!" He heard the dragon cry out at him. Steele looked over his shoulder once more to see the dragon land on the balcony once more, the clothes in her clawed grasps as she fumed at him.

"Don't know, don't care." Steele replied, waving his hand over his shoulder as he sat on his bed. The dragon only seemed to get even more angry.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" she yelled, throwing the cloths at Steele. The cloths landed on Steele's face and he quickly tossed them to the side with a snort. "Why are you acting like a total asshole?"

Steele laughed at her. "Hun, I'm no asshole." He suddenly grinned at her rudely, pointing his thumb at himself. "I'm a bona fide dick. Now what is it that my lady wishes? A morning romping?"

The dragon was speechless for a moment before roaring at him. "I'm no whore, you bastard!" She screamed at him, looking over her shoulder and away from him.

Steele cocked an eyebrow. "That's not what I believe, especially after basically raping me last night." He laughed as the dragon only shook her head.

"Whatever, just make some food." She complained as she raised a scaly finger and rubbed her temple. Steele took another look as the clothes on his floor nearby, now curious about a new thought in his head.

He scratched the back of his head as he stood up. "If you just want a late breakfast, then why did you get me fancy cloths?" Steele asked plaintively as he picked up said cloths and placed them on his bed. He had to give her a point for finding them. Hell they must have cost a fortune, but why spend it on him?

The dragoness just shrugged in return. "I'm holding a family only party tonight. Those are the clothes you will be wearing as you greet the guests."

"Aw heck no!" he cried out angrily. Already he missed his curses and the day hasn't even begun! "I am in no way greeting dragons for a flipping party that your holding!" he immediately sat down with a huff and crossed his arms.

The dragon only sighed at his actions. "Slave Steele: you are to greet my guests tonight and you are going to make brunch for two." She said much like a tape recorder. She did not want to resort to such measures, but he was a stubborn man.

Now he was even more curious. "Two?" He asked, looking up towards her."You bringing a friend over?"

The dragon only shrugged. "I was planning on having you join me." She replied as she suddenly got a very evil looking grin on her long face. "But I guess maybe I can just have you starve for the day. Now then, go and do what I asked of you Slave."

Steele only looked hard at her as he slowly stood up. His mouth was slightly open, revealing his teeth in an angry look. "As my mistress commands." he growled, giving a mock bow to the dragon before leaving. Right on his heels, the dragon followed him down into the kitchen where he began to pull various equipment and food out to prepare.

She watched as the human worked, cooking different things that both a dragon and a human can eat. It was surprising, as humans and dragons ate basically the same type as food. Once they came to earth, it was discovered that dragons were omnivores, meaning both vegetables and meat could be eaten by them. That fact made it easier on Steele as he made things like summer sausage, pancakes, turkey and other such food. Once finished, he set the table with a plate and silverware as the dragoness took a seat next to him. She eyed him suddenly as he took a step back and watched her.

"Well? She asked expectantly as she turned her long neck to him. He only eyed her.

"Well what?" He huffed, crossing his arms.

"Aren't you going to join me?"

"I thought you said I was going to starve?"

"I believe I said the word maybe and I chose to let you eat with me."

Steele suddenly flailed his arms up over his head. He was angry now. Why the hell is she being so kind to him? Hell, most dragons straight up torture their slaves for arguing with them like what he did earlier that morning.

"Alright, what the heck is with you?" He asked, finally lowering his arms. "Why in the world are you treating me more like a equal then a slave?" He watched as she smirked, food slowly floating over to her plate but he was not amused of her magical abilities.

"A dragoness does have reasons for things you know. This one is just..." she suddenly stopped as she took a long drought of juice. "This one is just my own private reason." Steele was now furious with her.

"I promise I am going to...to..." He said angrily, practically to the point where he was going to grab a nearby knife and go at her. She only rose a eyebrow ridge in his direction.

"To what Steele?" She asked bemused. "Kill me? Good luck with that and even if you do kill me..." She took a bite of turkey. "...My family will come after you. Now...Slave Steele: Grab some food and sit across from me. I know you will enjoy it."

Steele only glared at her in silence, grabbing some silverware and a chair. He slammed the chair down hard before slamming himself into it even harder in anger. She was damn stubborn, but he will prove to be the most stubborn of the two. That he swore as the two ate in silence, both not looking at each other as he ate.

Steele had to admit though, she was right about him enjoying it as it had been a long time since he had anything that remotely resembled food. The masters of the arena gave the gladiators nothing more then a slushy muck that Steele was certain didn't even resemble gruel. In fact, at one point Steele thought he saw the muck move once. His mind was pulled out of the past when he heard the dragoness in front of him clear her throat.

Steele looked up to see her staring at him with a friendly smile, which he did not return. He didn't want to know what she was smiling about, what with the way she looked at him like he was an special dish. but since more then likely she was going to force it out of him...

"What?" He asked angrily, munching on some sausage. She merely shrugged at him, her small smile still plastered on her face.

"Tell me about yourself Steele." She said, leaning her long neck slightly froward, resting it on the palm of her scaly hands. Her posture almost resembled a humans, the way her elbows rested on the table and her hands held up her neck. Almost.

"Well lets see...I like butterfly's and daisies as well as long walks on the beach. I am also a girly kind of guy that likes to kiss the toes of my mistress." He said sarcastically, poking another sausage with his fork. "Need I go on?"

"Steele please, I'm just trying to be friendly here." She sighed. Steele only looked away with a look of 'I don't give a flying piece of shit.'

She watched him sadly before giving out a sigh. "Slave Steele: Please tell me more about yourself." She commanded with a tone that said that she didn't want to do that.

With a snort, Steele slowly placed his fork down and leaned towards her, his eyes closed. "I don't even know why your trying, but fine." he gave out a large sad sigh, the dragoness cocking her head as he was about to begin.

"When I was a kid, I was raised on a small farm. Back then I was all skin and bones really, even though I did field work." He seemed to get a glazed look, like he was somewhere else even if his body was there. "I was picked on by the local school kids because of it. I was the 'sticks and bones kid' as they liked to call me. One day, I just got sick of it all and began to weight lift in secret, back at home via some of my dads weights." He suddenly grinned at a memory.

"After a while, I started to beat up anyone that once made fun of me. At one point, when I was at the age of seventeen, some guys thought it would be funny to pick on me yet again. Broke two of the guys' arms and the the last his leg to show them their mistake." He laughed at the memory when he continued. "And a goddamn WWE wrestler saw me do it! Claimed that it was great and I should think of joining the league. Or at least try too." Steele shrugged. "So, a year later, I did and was becoming an upcoming wrestler for them. Hell, rumors were going around that I was the 'Undertaker's reincarnation,' named for some guy who died years back at a ripe old age. Instead of Undertaker however, I was called Steele. Kept the name ever since."

He chuckled sadly at himself. "Then, a year after that, you scaly bastards showed up and wrecked the whole world." He looked up at her with a sad look in his eyes as well as a strange fury. "At first, I wanted nothing to do with the war but then...then one of your people, an Arkinias like you, murdered my family and burned our home to the ground."

He leaned forward, placing his head on the back of his hands to support his head up. "That was when I joined the war, and was captured and enslaved at the end of it. I never was a dick really, but since the war...and the death of my parents..." He smirked at her. "...I became one. Heck, If you met me years ago under different circumstances, I might have liked you.But now...now all I feel is hatred and rage for you and your kind for what you did to all of us." He did not continue and watched as the dragoness suddenly stood up and walked towards him. He saw moisture on her face, but did not believe she was crying until only a foot away from him.

"Slave Steele:" She sobbed. "Do not move an inch." Steele felt his body suddenly filled with some strange cool sensation and watched in shock as the dragon pressed her lips against his, bringing him into a kiss. He blinked, surprised at the feeling as she sat there, her lips pressed to his for several long agonizing moments before pulling away from him.. She stared at him for a long while when she suddenly disappeared from his view behind him.

"Slave Steele: You may once again move." He heard her whisper behind him. He jumped to his feet and turned back to the doorway, but she was already gone and he darted to the door to look out, looking everywhere only ending up with the same result. She was nowhere to be seen.

Steele sat there for a moment, stunned at the situation before he walked back to the table in the kitchen behind him. There, he stared blankly at the food before he slammed his fists into the table and threw them to the side, sending food scrapes, silverware, and plates clattering to the floor.

"Damn it all!" He cursed, thankful that he was still able to curse when not in her presence. He rubbed his hair back and sobbed, crying as he lowered his face to the table. Tears flowed down his face and onto the table as he quietly cried to himself. "What the hell is with that damn dragon?!"

Hours later, Steele found himself in the fancy clothing and was waiting outside at the gate. He was unhappy at the idea, but his mistress had commanded him to be there until she told hi otherwise. Son after arriving at the gate, the guests began to arrive. All of the dragons were pf different shapes, sizes and colors. As commanded, he greeted all of them and very few even acknowledged his presence. Then, the night grew interesting for him when a rather large flyer of a dark red color came forward and landed in front of the gate. The bud bloomed revealing a rather large blue drake sitting there, next to him a gold female.

Steele recognized the blue. Alduin, the killer of man and leader of the dragons. He knew that the drake was the alpha drake of the Arkinias family but Steele didn't expect him to come all the way from the island once know as Britain to here. Steele also found the name ironic and funny, as he had played an old game called skyrim where the main antagonist was also dragon that went by the same name when he was but a boy.

This Alduin, however, did not have hundreds of protrusions sticking out of his back, but a fine neat row of horns that went from the base of his large head to the tip of his webbed tail. On either side of his head, four horns jutted backwards. His emerald green eyes seemed to analyze the human that greeted him as he walked past, his tail giving a flick as he did so. Steele recognized the eyes of the drake as they were the same ones as his mistress'. Maybe Alduin was her father, It made sense seeing as how his mate was the same golden color as her.

Afterward, Steele was brought back inside and was simply told to cater to the guests by bring out platters of appetizers. This proved boring, until he went into a rather large room with a grand piano in it. Here he gazed at the white wood of the instrument, being brought back to a time before the war, before he was even an wrestler. His father once owned a piano and he often played on it for the enjoyment of Steele and his two sisters. He shook his head, clearing himself of his memories as the guests seemed to have gotten louder.

"Yes, yes, I fully understand that you all want someone to play some music, but until we find someone who can you will just have to settle with how it is already!" he heard his mistress yell over the crowd. He heard many loud sad awes at that moment and shook his head, quickly making his way to the gold dragon.

"If I may be so bold mistress?" he said, clearing his throat as he looked up at her. She appeared quite shocked at that moment.

"You know how to play the piano?" She asked, caught unaware that he would even suggest playing it. He only shrugged.

"I only know one song, but I believe it is a good one." he said embarrassingly as he made his way to the grand piano. The dragons in the room seemed to turn to Steele as he approached it and he heard many of them whispering as he sat down. Cracking his knuckles, he slowly eased his fingers into position and began to play.

It was a relative simple song, one that his father taught him when he was but a boy. When Steele asked where he had learned it, he had replied saying it was from a very, very old game. One that had the best songs ha had said. He also said that when he first heard it, it was meant to be a sign of tranquility, one that was to be played after times of chaos. Now seemed to be a perfect time, as the guests shushed and listened. Soon, Steele heard several join in the song with gentle hymns.

Out of the corner of his eye however, Steele saw that Alduin was staring at him in a very peculiar manner. It was as though the great dragon was trying to understand something about him. Soon, the song came to an end but he repeated it several more times as that was what the song was meant to do. After what he decide was long enough, Steele finished with a flourish and bowed to the group.

He did not play it for their amusement, but Steele found the fact that they applauded him comforting, even saying that the song was called rose of may(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoeJ4wpwN5g) when a few asked. Steele had played the song to calm his troubled mind, using the gentle rhythm of the song to remember his long dead family. And he was grateful for it as well, whispering a thank you to his mistress as he walked past her and back to work. Some time later, he was asked to get the food ready and he began to cook it, taking a good chunk of time as he did so because of the vast number of guests he had to feed.

After what felt like an eternity, dinner was ready and it took even longer to bring all the food outside onto several large tables. Once finished, Steele walked inside and informed his mistress that it was all ready and she asked him to wait outside, near the door, while all the guests were eating.

So he did, watching the sun set over the various ruined skyscrapers that once dotted the city of Winnipeg. Looking around, Steele noticed that trees were growing as thick as a forest around the large back yard, yet they were suppose to be in what was know as the Canadian Prairies, where there were hardly _any_forests. This made him laugh on the inside for dragons once claimed that humans were destroying the world and yet here they were, making trees and greenery grow where they shouldn't be.

Lazily gazing around again, Steele noticed several suits of armor dotted the back of the mansion wall as well as a rather large shed that seemed disused for many years. Curious, Steele quickly called his mistress to the side and asked if he may take a look at it. She merely shrugged at him and gave him permission, however he was to return afterward and report what he had found to her.

He quickly made his way to the side door where he frowned at it. There was a large rusted chain with a old lock that would require a key. Steele damn well knew that the key was long lost and he would have to find another way in. Looking around quickly, Steele saw a window high above him that was open. Too high to jump, but luckily a tree was nearby and had a rather large branch extended to the window. Smiling, he climbed up and quickly walked across the branch carefully, his arms spread wide as he went across. Once there, he jumped down and landed on his feet, his palm on the ground and slowly stood up.

Looking about, Steele found himself in a treasure trove of items. Bits and bobbles of equipment such as welding torches, bolts, wrenches, even an old tactical shotgun were lying around on benches and shelves. Grinning like a boy, he walked over to the shelf with the shotgun and found shells right next to it as well as a rather large window that was wide open next to it. Steele felt like bashing his head against the wall right then and there as he looked through the open window at the guests eating outside.

Turning around, Steele found a tarp covering something rather large and he walked up to it, tossing the covering aside to gasp at the marvel before him. A hover bike lay there, looking as though dust had barely touched it. He rubbed the silver metal that cover ed the engines on the inside and smiled brightly when his hands felt the keys still in the ignition. Could this possibly get any better?

Meanwhile, his mistress was busy with the guests, making sure everyone was having a good time and smiled when some of her cousins came up to greet her. After filling the little ones in with some news, she turned to see Alduin watching her from across the field and she frowned, knowing full well he wanted to speak to her.

"father?" She asked inquisitively up at his larger frame. He snorted at her when he saw the human in the window of the shed.

"Where did you get that dreadful thing Aurora?" He asked, obviously not happy about her having a _human._She merely shrugged at him.

"I found him in the arena nearby." She replied. "Bought him to be a helping hand, nothing more."

Her father frowned at her once more. "So help me girl, if that pest even lays a finger on you..." He began, trailing off to add to the affect. Aurora only chuckled.

"I am no dragonling father, I can take care of my-" She was interrupted by a loud explosion, her voice disappearing in the loud noise. Both daughter and father turned to see several small shapes disappear in the distance, a small crater nearby where blood and pieces of what were once dragons lay scattered. Dust and debris was still falling around them and the two dragons used their wings to cover themselves.

"Rebels!" Alduin cried angrily at the group disappearing towards the ruins of the human city. The two turned to the shed when a loud roar could be suddenly heard. The two large doors practically exploded as a hover bike appeared, on the seat sat Steele, a look of fury filled in his eyes as he drove after the shapes, a gun in hand.

"He is one of them!" The great blue drake cried, spreading his large wings as he ran forward. Soon, he was airborne chasing after the small shape that was Steele in the distance.

As soon as Steele heard the explosion, he knew there was trouble. Looking outside quickly, he saw several small shapes driving into the distance as well as a large hole where guests once were. Rage filled him at the thought that these cowards had attacked without warning and he filled the shotgun full of shells. Sadly, it only allowed five and he couldn't carry anymore. His pants had no pockets, same as his shirt.

Steele spun about and leaped on the hover bike, turning the ignition to feel the bike come to life and begin to lift off the ground by a good two feet. Smiling at his luck, the human turned the bike to the door and sped through it, smashing it into pieces. Nearby, Steel saw both his mistress and Alduin watching him stunned as he drove after the shapes that were heading to the city.

A mighty roar was soon heard and he looked up to see the blue dragon taking flight after him. So be it, let the dragon come for Steele did not care. He had other things to deal with, namely cowards. Turning back to face the group in front of him, he soon caught up to them on the outskirts of the city, dashing through the streets and crumpled ruins of building in a race. One of the humans looked back to see Steele with a furious look on his face and shouted to the others, all of them wearing black capes with a white symbol of a wolf head, its fangs bared.

"Hmph, so the Black Wolf Fangs got guts. Too bad they messed with the wrong guy..." Steele chuckled, coming up next to the one that was farthest from the rest in the back. The man tried to pull out a pistol on his hip, but was too slow. Steele brought his shotgun to his face and pulled the trigger, causing the mans head to exploded in a mess of blood and bones as his bike slammed into a nearby wall, causing a small explosion of metal shards.

The Black Wolf Fang was a gang of human that were free of the slavery spell. Rather then hiding, they chose to continue the war using subterfuge, torture, and even suicide bombings. they had just used the last form of their attacks on Steele's mistress' home. Steele hated the group, for they called themselves a group that fought for nobility, but they were in fact just cowards that hid in the shadows while the world moved without them.

Steele had his own codes of Honor: Thou shall not attack with cowardice. Thous shall face thy enemies with courage. Thou shall do what they opponent asks if you have been defeated. His was basically a code of a knight, save that he was very careful with the rules. In fact, that was the only reason he had stayed a slave for he had many opportunities opened to him that would've allowed him to be free.

Steele came up to the next one and the man suddenly grinned, pulling out a sub machine gun and pointed it at Steele. He expected this and, drove down an alley way that ran parallel to the street where the gang members were, causing bullets to dance on bricks and metal. With a smirk, Steele pointed his gun at the man and fired only one shot, smashing into the mans chest and sent him flying off the bike.

Two down, three to go. Steel thought to himself when he heard a loud roar from above. Quickly skittering into another alleyway and back onto the main street, Steele looked back to see Alduin dive to where he once was. The blue was obviously angry, but the dragon knew he could do nothing as the remaining humans turned down a narrow street, Steel right on their heels. He had to smirk at the dragon king. For once, the two were on the same side even if Alduin didn't know it.

The next human was slightly smarter then the last two, as Steele pulled the trigger, the man hit the brakes and went way behind where the shot went, causing a wall to explode into dust. Now behind Steel, he opened fired with a pistol and Steele brought the gun to back back up at the human, returning the fire. The human quickly evaded the shot and came up closer to Steel.

The slave now only had one shell left and three rather angry humans around him. By the sounds of things, the group were trying to coax him out of the fight, saying that what they did was honorable, that they fight for the freedom of humanity. But their words fell on dead ears as Steele shot the one to his left with the last shell. The remaining two watched in horror as their comrades bike smashed into pieces by an old lamp post. Tossing the shotgun away, Steele snorted at the remaining two.

"You people make me sick..." He said slowly. "..Believing your all honorable when all you do is just use your words to honey what you truly are: Cowards." He slammed into the bike next to him, bringing him face to face with a rather large man.he leaned in close to this man and gave out a laugh.

"You come barging onto my mistress' property, kill people that were probable innocent, and try to say that what you did was honorable?" He broke the mans arm with single thrust of his fist when he tried to bring a pistol around toward Steele's head. Steele ripped it out of the limp hand and shot the man three times in the chest before pulling away. The final human sped up and drifted into a larger street, Steele right behind him.

Steele drove up next to him, a look of pure rage in his eyes as the man began to blabber on for mercy for this human had no weapon. Steele only grinned as he began to slow down suddenly.. Steele was unforgiving, always remembering a sin a man had committed and this was no different. though it looked like he was about to let the man live he whispered one final thing to him.

"I'm not the one you should be begging to..." He whispered at the man slowly with a hint of amusement, coming to a rather sudden stop. He watched the man drive quickly away before he saw a large shadow pounce on him from an unseen alleyway. Steele heard flesh ripping and the sounds of a man screaming out in pain.

"He is." Steele finally finished, turning the bike around and drove back towards the mansion.

It too a while longer then he had wanted to, but he wanted a good drive before he returned. It had been years since he felt the cool wind plaster his face while he drove, and he wanted every second to count knowing full well he will never be able to do it again when he returned.

It ended too quickly a he drove back into the driveway of the mansion, seeing his mistress already walking out the door to greet him. She had a rather large disappointed look on her as he turned the bike off and hopped off. He knelt before her as she approached. He gave out a sigh, he was going to have to apologize.

"Forgive me, milady, but i had no choice.." he whispered to her. Once more, the human surprised the gold dragon as she blinked.

"No choice?" She asked confused. "You just randomly take a human vehicle and pursue men that had a attacked us! By the gods just look at you, your injured!" It was then that Steele felt pain all over his body and he looked down to see several scrapes from near misses and bullet holes in his arm, leg and even lower hip. With a grunt, the pain flared into his heda and indicated him that he was coming out of an adrenaline rush.

She was about to continue when a loud ooming thud was heard and the two looked to see Alduin. shaking with rage, as he slowly walked up to them. His long snout was covered in blood and his fangs were bared as he hissed angrily at the human. Seemed the dragon realized something, as his eye went wide when he got a good look at Steele's face

"I knew there was something about you that was familiar!" The drake roared, coming closer to Steele who had sat up to look back at the dragon. "You are Steele, the dragon slayer!" At the cry of the humans name, gasps and mutters could be heard from above them and Steele only smirked as he stood up to face the dragon completely.

"Took you long enough Alduin. Becoming slow are we?" the human laughed, his whole body shaking, both in laughter and pain, before looking back at the raging dragons face. "Yeah I'm Steele, the same Steele that wiped out about forty of you bastards in one go back during the war a the battle of Ottawa. What of it?"

The dragon only shook with rage, his fangs becoming bared once more as he hissed in anger and fury. "You were to die in the Dead Games!" The dragon looked up to see his daughters shocked face. "Why did you not tell me of who he was Aurora?"

Steele immediately sensed danger towards his mistress, and he looked long and hard at the angry blue dragon. "Hey asshole, I'm the one that gave you that nasty scar on your belly, remember?" He said, nodding his head in Alduin's direction. that was true, as Steele had fought the dragon king during the battle that ended the war, leaving him with a large scar on the underbelly from using a special contraption meant to impale him. With a roar from remembering that particular wound, Alduin pounced at the human, only to see him feint to the left and raise his hand up high.

"You should have made sure my family was truly gone Alduin!' He yelled, raising his fist high in the air as the dragon missed, revealing the top of his scaly head to the human. "i call upon thee, weapon forged by the gods for the powers of divinity: EXCALIBUR!"

A flash of light followed as the human slammed the bottom of his hand on the top of the drakes head, a loud crack followed that no human fist could ever produce. All spectators were forced to shield their eyes as the flash was too bright. After a moment, the light faded away and the dragons turned to see Alduin unconscious, Steele's shoe on top of his neck.

In the humans hand was a sword that seemed to be made entirely of pure white light.

The legendary blade that had stopped the dragons so many years ago, Excalibur, had finally revealed itself in the hand of Steele.

Steele: The last descendant of King Arthur.

The man with the blood of dragons coursing through his veins.
