How dare they...

How dare they! Those women... one strong and violent, and the other quiet and priestly; what where their names again? Kiddy one had been called, by the soft looking woman with the lavender hair, who was named Nami. They'd shown up at the hospital. Told her they needed to meet with her, and all this just after her mother's death. It had been so sudden too. Well, death always feels sudden when it comes from within the family. She was angry, hurt, confused, scared, and tried to deal with quite a plethora of other emotions mixed on top of those.

Katsumi Liqueur, a fairly average looking woman who appeared in her mid-twenties. Attractive, raven haired, modest. She seemed innocent in so many ways, but that innocence soon began to seem less and less realistic to her. She walked into her apartment and set her bags down, feeling infuriated at the memory of something one of the two women had said to her. She thought back to their meeting, remembering.

Katsumi had tried to take a shortcut to the hospital, and witnessed something that could only be described as otherworldly. Though magic wasn't unheard of, she'd never expected to actually come face to face with it, being a store clerk. Now she found herself in a restaurant with Kiddy and Nami, sitting her seat gripping the table so hard her knuckles were white. The Australian she knew as Kiddy staring at her intently as the kindly looking Nami tried to reach out and hold onto her straining hands, "Are you all right?" "My mother died... do I look all right? I've seen... a thing try to do... something... and then there are you two. You act as if it's my fault... I told you I don't know anything."  Kiddy leaned forward, her entire body brimming with suppressed energy and emotion, "And I told you, you walked into an alleyway we'd sealed off with a barrier. No normal person could do that. Who are you?" Katsumi pulled her hand away from the paler girl, "I've already told you everything... What more do you want? Can't you just leave me be?" A calm pitying look from Nami made Kiddy back off, "I'm sorry about your mother. However, there is... something. When we met, there was something about you. A presence. Something protected you from that Lucifer Hawk. I felt it. Warm. Nurturing. It was this that allowed you to pass through our barrier. We need to know... Was it you who did that? Or..."The black haired woman slammed her hand on the table, knowing this conversation was drifting towards her now dead mother, her drink spilled in the process, "I don't know. Just stop. Can't you just... go away? Leave me alone? For God's sake!"

She threw her shoes at the wall, not paying any attention as they bounced onto the floor, "Damn it!" She threw her overcoat off next, "What was the meaning of all that?" Her nerves were a wreck, her mind in disarray. The pain of loss was heavy on her heart and she just wanted to disappear. She removed her scarf and stood in front of her large wall mirror. She muttered to herself as she raged at the strange words the two women had used; Lucifer Hawks? Barriers? These things meant nothing her. They were ridiculous... or were they? What about that monster? She glared at herself in the mirror for a moment, then unclasped her skirt and dropped it to the ground. Her dress shirt quickly followed. She sat down heavily on her bed, wrinkling her clothes further. She tugged at the edge of her stockings, which hugged her shapely legs like a second skin. Katsumi ran a hand downwards, peeling off the tight fabric to expose her feet to the cool flooring. They joined the rest of her thrown and discarded clothing. She undid her silk panties, and bra, and tossed them at a bench in the corner. She then stalked towards the bathroom and then stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water. The feeling of the water as it hit her bare skin was wonderful. It felt as if the steaming liquid was carving away her stress. She stood there, letting it flow down her shoulders, between her breasts, and over her legs. She sighed as the steam curled and flowed up away from her. She relaxed, the sounds of the water creating a steady hiss that let her mind wander. 'What's going on?' she thought to herself. She let her head lightly hit against the shower stall wall, her hair heavy with water. She closed her eyes, when there was movement out of the corner of her eye, and the shower suddenly stopped. She looked towards the door, then up at the shower head. A mass of brown flowing slime, bristling with tendrils and pulsing with life flowed out of the nozzle. It gaped wide over her like a maw and splashed around her.  She tried to scream and choked as it undulated and flowed in around her. It broke like water, pieces splattering against the glass and porcelain floor. Those pieces, with a life of their own, sprouted sticky strands that wrapped around her legs. She was quickly trapped inside a cocoon of warm unsettlingly slimy flesh. It pressed against the walls of her shower. She had room to try and struggle but her arms and legs were tightly bound. The slime shifted in one spot and pulsed as it formed a stalk, it came out towards her and a slit appeared. When it parted a large red eye stared at her with a cross-like pupil, and a voice filled with a calm malevolence and interrogating edge. "Is it you?" it asked her. Katsumi pulled her head back, and screamed. Both at the intrusion of her privacy, and at the horror of this... thing in her shower. The question it asked was beyond her ability to respond to at the moment. The entity's eye melted and as she was looking down, her whole body tingling, another stalk appeared and stared at her, repeating the question. She screamed again. She was disturbed at how the silky smooth touch of this creature was making her feel slightly aroused. The creature seemed to talk to itself as if it were more than just one being in one body. It almost sounded as if it was arguing, "No, it isn't. It is the key..." "Yes... it is vulnerable." The slime closed in on her, the voice... or voices-she couldn't tell if it was a single voice or multiple voices anymore-continued, "The power that protected it is gone... the same power as that one..." She lost sight of the world around her and felt only the creature. It didn't say anything else after that. It closed in on her, its warm smooth slimy feelers and skin pulsing over hers. Inside the shower stall, the cocoon shifted and bulged slightly as its prey struggled fruitlessly inside it. Katsumi panted, as hot vapor curled in the small free spaces that appeared as the slime monster consumed her. She tried to scream and call out but was gagged and fed bulges of flesh which crawled and felt around inside her mouth. Her eyes watered as this creature invaded her. Something entered her vagina and started wiggling. She moaned in pleasure, fear, and some slight discomfort as she began to feel a strange sensation. It felt as if her skin was... changing... She stopped sensing where her body ended. What was happening to her? The Lucifer Hawk relished the feeling of this helpless girl as she tried to resist, tried to fight the feelings she couldn't bring herself to accept. Had her mother still been alive, things might have turned out differently, but alas, such was not the case. The creature fully contained her, rubbing its small tentacles over her tender breasts. They were soft, almost as if they were stuffed with down feathers. The creature fed into its curiosity and lust, finding the texture almost heavenly. It continued pressing its appendages deeper into the woman's flesh. The skin gave way, sinking his being, just a bit, into the soft tissue. If the hellish monster had a face, it would be smiling. The poor girl was beside herself, getting close to her peak. Katsumi quickly began to feel hotter as her skin became patchy. Portions of her skin and body seemed to be merging with the abomination surrounding her. Her eyes were dull as she was overwhelmed by sensations, some of which she wasn't sure were her own any more. To the Lucifer Hawk, her smell, and taste of her arousal the slime creature was something that the slime creature found great interest in getting more of. Her body, it found, seemed to react more extremely as it probed and fondled her. She was the creature, touching herself, touching her, touching it. A bizarre unholy meshing of meat and mind. She loved how she felt. She loved herself. It desired her. She was it. She moaned and started to spasm as her body reached its climax and the flesh feeling around inside her absorbed her from the inside out. Her essence flowed over the shining throbbing masses as she disappeared under the flood. The Lucifer Hawk soaked up everything. It rumbled and shivered slightly inside the shower stall. No longer was it shaped as if it surrounded a living thing. It collapsed on itself and slowly flowed out of the shower, disappearing to wherever it had come from. Only small trace amounts of flesh and slime remained inside the shower stall. It was content, it had been successful, and it now had what it wanted. The door to the bathroom shuddered and broke free of its hinges, falling to the ground just as the creature slipped out of sight. Kiddy and Nami looked in disbelief and some horror at the small mess that was left, visible through the clear shower door. The tan Australian's face turned to an angry glare, "We're too late..."
