Chance's Encounters

Chapter High School Days

By Roofles

The two ran back and forth from the back yard of Chance's house with various supplies. Sleeping bags, a lantern, a cooler full of food, blankets, soda pop and the laptop. The two kids smiled at each other before finally heading out to the far back of the yard where the tent was set up.

A tent made for two.

Their sleeping bags were laid out with a cooler resting between the pillows. At the foot of the sleeping bags was where the laptop was set up. A bowl of popcorn was made and was placed between where they sat.

The cat went in first quickly followed in by the dog. Jasper zipped the tent up before jumping over the laptop, crouching down and laying across his sleeping bag he had brought over for the occasion. Jasper had taken his shirt off earlier in the day due to the summer weather. His fur had come in thicker this year and as such the dog found himself being far too warm and itchy. Scratching his chest the German Shepherd fussed with his shorts before pulling them down and off.

"Damnit all," he cursed to himself scratching his chest and stomach fiercely. "Why...must...I... be...so...damn... fuzzy?"

Chance ignored the dog slipping into his own sleeping bag. He slid his legs until his feet touched the end and laid back to make sure the pillow was placed correctly. He sat up afterwards scooting up a bit and grabbed the popcorn bowl as the dog rolled back and forth scratching his back on the sleeping bag.

"Genetics are a bitch." Chance replied finally watching him still rub his back on the sleeping bag.

The dog just growled at that.

Chance finally gave in at the pitiful sight and reach over scratching the dog's stomach and belly. Jasper growled, murring happily as he laid back in nothing but pure bliss with nothing but a jockstrap on. Chance thought it looked a little too familiar but didn't question it as he rubbed the dog's thick fur covered chest and belly. He dug his fingers through it until his soft pink paw pads touched the warm flesh underneath.

Jasper only murred happily wagging his tail at the belly rub he was getting unable to get enough of them as it was. Chance was enjoying the warmth his friend provided. It was already a chilly night and that cat was still wearing the cloths he had on since morning. He even slid further inside the sleeping bag hoping to contain what little warmth he had for the night.

"Oh, you're just so good at this." Jasper moaned rolling his neck to the side and closing his eyes. The dog opened his legs a bit and even lifted one of them up as the belly rub continued.

Chance folded his ears back at the compliment but grinned. "You are just a pathetic mutt." He said sticking his tongue out at him. "Lifting your tail up for anyone willing to give ya' a belly rub."

"Ah, fuck you man." Jasper said sitting up a bit.

The dog still had the black silver spiked collar on. He had at least taken the matching bracers off. The dog Mohawk was short sticking up just between his black pointed ears. It was tan like his paws, lower arms and lower legs. It matched his tan chest and the fuzz along his belly, happy trail, under his arms and between his thighs. This darker brown fur crept between his legs and under his tail. It dotted the sides of his face and the end of his chin with a straight line down the otherwise tan under muzzle.

Chance was right. He did look a lot like his dad. A strong jawline, with a large upper body and broad shoulders. His paws were oversized as well just like when he was a child. His body finally seemed to fit these paws.

"Take a picture." Jasper teased in a husky voice.

Chance flipped him off and rested back. "Not my fault you look so retarded."

"Retarded like your face!" Jasper shot back with a laugh. The dog rolled onto his side lifting up his leg again and kicking the mound inside the sleeping bag at his side.

"Hah Hah, good one dumb face." Chance said in a stupid voice. "Start the damn movie already." He continued cutting the dog's crude insulting reply off. The cat took a paw full of popcorn and stuck his tongue out to snag a piece.

"Freak." Jasper rolled his eyes scooting across the sleeping bag as if he were rubbing his rear end on the carpet and bent over to mess with the laptop. "Why do you do that?"

"Makes the salt stick better." Chance said around a mouthful of popcorn. He stuck his tongue out again and snagged a piece. "You'd eat it off the ground so what's the big idea?"

"I did that once!" The dog shot back scooting back to where he was. "Once. Never let me forget it." He tossed his hands up in the air before flopping over face first into the pillow.

"Yup." Chance reply was flat and simple yet there was a smug undertone to it as he laid back, crossed his legs and began watching the movie.

"Ass wipe." Jasper grumbled resting back.

The movie began to roll and already the dog could feel the boredom set in. "Give me a min. Go ahead and keep playing it though." The dog said jumping up and slipping his shorts back on. He reached into the backpack he brought with him and pulled out a pack of smokes. Slipping one into the end of his muzzle he unzipped the tent and hopped out.

Chance kept watching the movie before sighing and getting up as well. He didn't bother pausing the film already having seen it so many times and walked outside (after slipping his paw mittens on) and walked over to join the burning bud in the corner of the lawn.

The German shepherd was just smoking on the cig looking up at the stars. His ears flickered and he looked down at the cat that crept over to him with his hands tucked into the sweater he wore.

Chance leaned against the fence not even acknowledging him before looking up at the stars.

"Want one?" Jasper asked sliding another one out for the cat. Chance just shook his head. "You're loss." He shrugged sticking it into his muzzle and lighting it. He finished the first one, dropping it onto the ground and stamped it out.

"Thanks, ya know." Chance muttered softly in the night air. "For coming over."

The dog looked down at him being nearly a foot taller these days. Jasper just took another breath and let the tendrils of smoke escape his nostrils.

"It's been kind of rough. With mum and dad. And stuff." The cat continued looking down at the grass. "And with you leaving and all it was...I guess I never really noticed the friction between the two as a kid. And without you it was just more...apparent." He felt hot in the face and looked away cursing at himself. He wasn't even sure what he was saying or why he kept adding his leaving into it. "It's just good to see you." He stated flatly.

Jasper plucked the cig from his lips with two fingers and blew a large puff of smoke into the air. He leaned back against the fence and rose his arm up and over the cat giving him a strong one arm bro hug. "And it's good to see my favorite pussy again too." He chuckled in a heavy tone.

The two fell silent for a moment.

"You know I didn't want to leave right?" Jasper asked sticking the cig back into his muzzle.

"I know." Chance said softly leaning against the larger dog a bit now. The arm around him squeezed him a bit tighter. Chance pulled back a bit and looked up into his face. "You're still a jackass for leaving though."

"Ya' well...fuck my dad." Was all Jasper said, a low growl crept into his voice as he spoke.

Chance fell silent at that.

"Ah man," Jasper grumbled. He pulled the cat in some more. "You know I don't...well I do. But you know you're my favorite pussy right?"

"Hah, so I've been told." Chance rolled his eyes but found himself rest against the dog's chest anyways.

He could hear Jasper's strong breaths, feel the heat radiating from underneath his thick fur and smell the musky scent of the dog that held him securely with an arm. Jasper leaned back looking up at the stars smoking without a care in the world.

The two spoke a bit more about classes and a certain teacher they both despised before heading back inside the tent. Chance went first but as he crawled into his sleeping bag he found Jasper taking a seat next to him. On top of the sleeping bag the dog leaned back, crossing his legs and tossed an arm around the cat without saying a word he used his big toe to start the laptop once more.

Chance laid there for a bit not saying or doing anything. Half way through the moving he found himself cuddled up next to the larger dog. And by the end of it he wasn't the only one in the sleeping bag.

As the movie came to a close Chance squirmed a bit in the very confined sleeping bag. "Damn," the cat muttered pulling back. Jasper raised an eyebrow lifting his arm up off the cat to slip free. Chance grabbed the bottom of his sweater and shirt and fussing a bit managed to pull it up over his head and free. The cat discarded the cloth to the side and scooted back down inside.

The dog grumbled a bit before scooting back in with him making the seams of the sleeping bag strain. Jasper wrapped his arm around him pulling him tightly against him as he turned over on his side so that the two were now facing each other.

A paw was placed on the back of the cat's head and his muzzle was forced lightly against his chest and the dog's inner arm.

Chance's scrunched up his nose as his muzzle slid underneath the dog's arm and into the musky pit. Jasper said nothing as he held him close, tight and rolled more on top of the smaller cat in his arms.

"B-bud," Chance voice was muffled by the dog's muscular arm and torso. "I can hardly breathe." The cat flushed at the musk breath he was filling his lungs with.

The dog grunted in annoyance and moved over a bit for him though he kept his muzzle firmly placed under arm. Chance was already hot and bothered by the furry warm body grinding against him.

"You don't mind do ya'?" Jasper asked but his voice betrayed how little he cared if he did have a problem with it.

"N-no, it's fine." Chance bowed his head a bit thinking of nothing but of the warm male body next to him. "I think I need to just..." The cat pushed him away getting an annoyed growl from the dog.

Chance bent down and undid the front of his shorts slipping out of them. Once the dog got the picture he was more than happy to move aside and watch as he pulled the shorts off and tossed them with the other fabric.

Chance turned his back on the dog as he tossed the article of clothing away. It was at this that Jasper wrapped his arms up and around Chance's side holding his chest tightly with strong large paws and pulling him roughly against the dog's front. Jasper bent his muzzle down to rest on the cat's shoulder and a slow steady, shaking sigh left the dog as he held him without a word.

Chance laced his fingers with the dogs. Closed his eyes. And called it a night.
