The ride in the train was quite relaxing. Silver rested upon Shaman's back as she watched the scenes go by. Around each bend of the mountains seem to bring in a new sight. Gorgeous valleys dotted with a mix of white and green topped trees, small towns lit aglow from street lights and homes. Occasionally the train rose up so high on the mountains it seemed the very clouds were within reach. As the night came upon them and Silver fell fast asleep. She started to grow excited about coming home. She could just imagine the look on Khari and Keledrin's faces when she arrived.

She also began to think about Marodan, what he would do when he saw Silver for the first time. She knew he would hate him, but couldn't refuse someone who risked his life to save hers and bring her home. Darker thoughts grew within, knowing that this might be just another situation for Luna to manipulate.

She had to come up with something, a backup plan in case things got too hectic when they got home. But this time, if she had to leave, she would take Keledrin and Khari with her. Shaman felt tremendous guilt for leaving the way she did in the first place and was not about to repeat that mistake. With the moon high overhead though and the mountains fading off in the distance, she decided it was a matter best left for the morning to debate. Pulling in Silver's paw, she gave a soft kiss and closed her eyes; letting sleep wash over her and the excitement of returning home, fill her dreams.

With the warm sun's rise, washing over a field of green grass and verdant trees, she felt the familiar warmth of the more southern home she came from. Even the wind, shearing through the door seemed to smell sweet with flowers and fresh grass. Roque was by the door, peering over the ledge, trying to see ahead of where the train itself was going. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she called over to him.

"Been up long?"

"Oh? Good morning, my dear." Roque beamed, hobbling over to her. "Sleep well?"

"Slept wonderfully, thank you." She praised.

"Well you've had more than your cloak covering your back as of late, haven't you." He winked with a little chuckle. Shaman swayed back and forth, rocking Silver's body on her back.

"Does the trick." She chuckled.

"You could probably rest a while longer if you so desired. I haven't seen even a hint of our first stop yet, let alone the second." Roque explained, peering back out the door.

"Mmm, I may just do that." She moaned joyfully, laying her head on Silver's arm. Roque pulled away from the door and leaned against the wall of the car, smiling at the sight before him.

"I'm rather proud of the two of you. It's a good pairing." He stated.

"I had a feeling you wanted this to happen right from when we met." Shaman grinned, looking over to him.

"Hoped, yes. Expected though, well. That's another story. Honestly, I just wanted the boy to be happy. While he made do quite fine up the cabin, it was a stretch to say he was happy."

"Oh?" Shaman wondered.

"Wolves can live perfectly fine on their own. Hunting and sleeping, so on. But Silver had family at one point and it was taken from him, unfairly. All the hurt and all the doubt in his heart, I was surprised there was anything left there to salvage. But sure enough, getting him into the rhythm of things back home, well, he started to show the little signs of his former self." Roque explained.

"You sound as if you knew him before you met him." Shaman pointed out.

"One of the advantages of living as long as I have. You come to know others quite well, understand their similarities. But I've never seen that boy sleep so soundly, or with that face before; and I know it's because of you." Roque finished, turning back to the door. "My own mate, held no such attachment for me. But that's of little matter. I love everyone who has touched my life. Scipris, my owlets, Silver and now you." He smiled to her.

"I love you as well, Roque." Shaman cooed, gazing at him lovingly. The brakes on the train started to screech as Shaman nearly dumped Silver off her back. "Whoa!" She cried out.

"I think we have reached the first stop." Roque announced. Gradually the train came to a halt and while Shaman relieved herself of Silver's weight, he had yet to wake up.

"Oh good heavens." Shaman sighed, seeing Silver flopped on his side, tongue sticking out as he slept. "Forgot we had deer again." She stated, heading over to his tail. Taking a quick stomp on the meat of his tail, Silver shot up wide awake.

"YEEEAAAOOW!!" He cried out. "Jeez! Roque I told you- Oh, you did it this time?" He posed to Shaman.

"I could've done what I did to the bear if you prefer." She winked and giggled.

"Please don't." Silver cringed. "So, why the wake up call, we're here? Is that why we're stopped?"

"It's the first stop my friend, but we must be wary. Humans may come to inspect the car, we best remain hidden." Roque advised.

"Alright, let's pile up in the corner again." Silver agreed. Shaman Silver and Roque all gathered into the corner together and waited to see if anyone would come by. They could hear the shouts of several work men as they unloaded some of the cars. A couple of them came by, but none looked inside yet. Silver could smell something off as well; a sharp and rather sweet smell at the same time was invading his nose. He brushed it off, thinking it might be just one of the new scents from the stop.

They were about ready to breathe a sigh of relief when one of them came by and peered inside. He spotted the trio and scowled.

"Fuck! We got stowaways!" He called out.

"Homeless?" Another called.

"Nah, wildlife. Couple fucking wolves and an owl."

"They made a mess or something?"

"Nah, it's a dead car." The man scowled looking the room over.

"Well then fuck em, they'll get off when they hose it down at the end-line."

"We're not supposed to be transporting animal cargo." The man argued. Finally the second one showed up and peered inside.

"Oh for fuck sakes, it's not a fucking rhino or anything. Get back up front, we have to empty up one more tanker."

"Yeah, fine." He submitted and walked away.

"Phew." Silver sighed in relief. "Hate fat, ugly humans like that."

"Thankfully he didn't shoo us away." Roque agreed.

"One more stop to go." Shaman bounded.

"Excited huh?" Silver smiled.

"Oh yeah! Gonna shock Khari and Keledrin good, haha!"

"Looking forward to meeting your friends as well." Silver said, licking Shaman's cheek.

"Mmm, I know they'll love you. Just, don't let Khari push you into the water." She giggled, nuzzling him. After a little cuddling and kissing the train started to slowly move on, carrying them off to the second stop.

The three spent the time, chatting away about the pack and how things basically work. Shaman informed Silver of how he might be brought in for the big prey parties to help bring down deer during the winter. When summer would come along, he would have it somewhat easy as she and Khari could gather the most prey. She also elaborated on Marodan's recent shallow behavior and how Luna would like to manipulate the pack. Silver wasn't worried; he had no compunctions about putting someone like her in her place.

After about two hours of travel, the train slammed on its breaks once more and began to slow. Silver and Shaman eagerly awaited its arrival, as she could barely contain herself, wanting to leap from the car while it was still moving. Silver managed to keep her back though till the train came to a stop and they leapt off.

Shaman surveyed the area, but her smile slowly began to fade as she tried to make sense of the layout. The tree line looked similar, but not nearly the same as when she left. She knew the tracks were about an hour away from her home, but she had a good memory of what it looked like.

"This isn't right." She whispered, slowly approaching the tree line. "No, the forest, it had a bit of a dip around here, where you came out to the tracks."

"This isn't your home?" Roque questioned urgently.

"No, I don't think so. Roque, can you head in there and see if there's a shallow stream with a den near a large river? Just ask for Khari if you find her, she'll guide you here."

"I'd be delighted, just sit tight my dear girl." Roque obliged, flying up high, he made a straight line over the forest to investigate. Shaman paced nervously back and forth, watching the train behind her. Silver felt the scent rush his nose once again. This time strong, it made his nose flare as it overwhelmed him.

"You ok?" Shaman asked urgently. Silver shook out his fur and composed himself.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He answered.

"Where is he?" She whimpered quietly.

"It's ok!" Silver hushed, placing his head over her neck. "We'll find out." He assured her.

"Thank you, baby. I just can't stand the waiting. The trains right there, if we can find out soon, we can still catch it." She urged.

"I know, I know. Roque is a fast flyer, he'll find out for you." He continued to console. Shaman eagerly watched the skies, hoping for any sign of Roque to show and soon. A good while passed, in behind them the train seemed like it was prepped for departure.

"Roque!" She begged, bounding on her backside. "Come on!"

Finally with a great burst from the tree's Roque swung around and landed at their side, just in time for the train to start moving.

"That was interesting." He shrugged off.

"What did you find out?" Shaman pleaded.

"There is a river, though not quite a stream nearby or den. No wolves in the area nearby either."

"Oh no." Shaman hung her head.

"There was a waterfall though, a small one, but certainly there. Sound familiar at all?" Roque pressed.

"The waterfall." She breathed. "Yes! The waterfall! Brennin took me up there a few months before he died! We're at the waterfall?!" She exclaimed.

"Yes, it does look like the river carries on for quite a ways." Roque chipped in.

"Yeah, it's the same river. We got off too early, but we are here. I'm sure of it." Shaman sighed in relief.

"How far would you say?" Silver asked.

"Took us two days to make it to the falls. I went with Marodan, Keledrin and Serodan when he was just a little pup." She recalled.

"Well there we go. Heck we could follow the tracks to the third stop, I'm sure it'll lead us there." Silver encouraged. Shaman buried her head in Silver's chest and sighed in relief.

"Oh thank goodness. For a moment there, I worried we got on the wrong train maybe." Feeling the tension fall from her body.

"We should be fine. Two days after all is certainly better then the month long voyage you had waiting you." Roque reminded her.

"Very true." She giggled. "Ok, let's go. We'll follow the tracks. That should be easy enough now. No massive mountains in the way anymore."

"I agree, I'll follow overhead." Roque proclaimed, taking to the sky. Silver followed behind Shaman as they headed back toward the tracks. He was surprised at how green and lush the area was so late into the year. He was used to seeing leaves fall right at the end of summer, and yet it was near the end of autumn, only a few leaves showing some change.

"You even get winter out here?" Silver asked.

"Nothing like you see." Shaman answered, looking back momentarily. "A couple months of snow and cold, after that it starts to warm up again. Lots of rain in the spring, then really hot and dry in the summer."

"Yeah, I'll bet. No wonder the cold was such a shock to you." Silver thought aloud. After a few moments of silence, Silver caught wind of the same scent again. Just as strong this time and coming from Shaman's direction. "Huh." He pondered, moving in a little closer to her.

"Something wrong, love?" She called back.

"That smell again." He trailed off.

"What smell?" Shaman wondered. Once Silver started closing in on her rump, it began to dawn on her what it was. Shaman hadn't even realized she was coming into heat. So used to repressing it, living with the pack, she had conditioned herself to all but ignore the sensations during that time in particular.

Silver swished her tail to the side, letting his nose just graze by her genitals. Shaman moved herself away, swinging around to face him.

"It is coming from you." Silver affirmed.

"Yeah, I don't know what it is." She blurted out, feigning ignorance. Having him be close to her was one thing, but mating was another. If Marodan found out she was breeding with an outsider, he'd banish her for sure.

"You don't know what it is?" Silver pressed on.

"Look, don't worry about it for now. If it's bothering you I'm sorry, love. You can take the lead; I'll follow you." She winked. Silver had a hunch she was hiding something, but knew better then to prod for now.

"Alright then." He consented, brushing up alongside her as he took the lead. Shaman did her best to regain her composure. She couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed that he got his nose so close to her.

Her eyes began to wander between his legs. His tail gently swaying as he walked, it kept most of the good bits concealed. Her thoughts ran back to Luna, recalling when she detailed the escapades of her sexual experience with Marodan. Though the thought of Marodan at her backside made her cringe, Silver was a different story.

Maybe once wouldn't do anything, she pondered, recalling how she had never seen Luna pregnant. Could once be enough to make me pregnant? She thought to herself. Shaman could feel her desire to be so close to Silver burning within, the fantasies forming in her mind. She had learned so well the feel of his body against her own. The last few nights provided more than enough experience to fuel on her day dreams. The thoughts riddled at her, tearing her between the risk of being caught by Marodan, and the desire quite literally burning between her legs.

"Silver! Shaman!" Roque called from above. The voice brought her back to reality as she glanced up to the sky.

"What's up!?" Silver answered.

"You know I'm getting quiet peckish, I could use a good hearty meal." He shouted down.

"That's fine; we're staying along the tracks. You can find us, right?" Silver suggested, looking up to his friend.

"Yes, I do believe so. I will probably need some time, my stomach has been grumbling since the ice storm." Roque carried on, circling overhead.

"Yeah sure, just come find us when you're done." Silver agreed.

"Be safe, my friends!" Roque called back as he flew off toward the woods.

"Hope he's not gone too long." Silver thought aloud, glancing back to Shaman.

"Yeah, not too long." Shaman trailed off. Silver halted and swung around, nearly bumping head to head with her. Chuckling he brushed by her cheek and licked just below her ear.

"What's wrong, my love?" He asked softly, opening up his shoulder to her.

"I.. Just have a lot on my mind." She hastily explained, trying to dodge the topic.

"Shaman, it's ok. Whatever's bothering you, I can help with." He insisted, swiping another soft lick.

"I'm sure you could." She giggled, leaning into his shoulder. "It's not something hard for you to fix, it's just whether or not you should."

"Shaman, just be honest with me. I know something's bothering you." Silver argued, pulling her in as close as he could. "And I bet it has to do with that scent coming from your backside." He boldly suggested. Shaman closed her eyes, embracing the warm feel of his body, the soft brush of his fur against hers. She felt her pounding within her chest.

She wasn't sure what to do, to let him in was a one way road for certain. But on the other, she was ready to leave if only Khari and Keledrin would come with her. Shaman thought back to the moment at the track, Khari calling out to her that she would go. Maybe with her going, Keledrin would go as well. She started to understand that even if she did become pregnant, by the time Marodan discovered it, she could flee with her friends and Silver.

A plan was forming in her mind, one where she could have the family and friends she dreamed of and so much more. The ideas bubbling together gave rise to an overwhelming sensation of freedom.

Pulling back from Silver's body, she slit her eyes and looked longingly into his. She brushed her paw over his head, kissing him for just a moment before whispering to his ear.

"I want you." Silver chuckled and returned with a kiss of his own.

"You have me."

"Good." She breathed, slowly pulling from his ear. Spinning herself around and flinging her tail up high, she revealed herself to him. "Give it a few licks, tell me what you taste." Silver's eyes relaxed, taking in the beauty of the sight before him. Though he could feel his nerves kicking in, making his descent towards her opening shaky, he started out by licking along her inner thigh.

Shaman moaned ever so softly, excited by the little tease he was giving. She wanted him to taste her, most of all; she wanted to feel him do it. His tongue worked its way up higher and higher each time, until at last it flashed across her virgin entrance. She felt her breath catch in her throat; he didn't hesitate to follow it up with another lick streaming straight across the other direction. His next went vertical, gently parting her slit as his tongue traveled along.

Shaman closed her eyes and began to lean down, feeling her legs become weak as he bathed her most private area. The scent was becoming overwhelming for Silver, his tongue flashed along over and over, picking up the taste and scent in one sweet scoop. He started growing hard between his legs, a bright pink member slipping out from the peak of his sheath. With every lick it grew a little more, throbbing and expanding.

She started panting, the blood rushing to her cheeks as he feverishly cleaned her. Silver admired the little flash of pink his tongue would reveal with each stroke, edging him on to follow it up with another. She couldn't think, all that came to mind was a burning desire to be mounted, to feel him sooth the itch that was growing inside her.

She quickly pulled away, leaving Silver somewhat dumbfounded and lost. Shaman was panting rapidly, turning back to him and seeing a similar sight. She caught eye of the pink flesh dangling between his legs, her focus dwelling on it. Silver made the next move, bringing himself in close, he took a soft nip near her ear and caught the cloak. Gently he pulled it off her as she allowed her other ear to escape. Silver released it to the ground and took a moment to gaze into her eyes.

As if someone had swept her legs, she fell to her cloak and rolled onto her back, letting her hind legs dangle to either side. Silver slowly moved in, until his muzzle was parked over hers, and his shaft grazing her entrance. All fear melted away as she reached around his neck and let her hind legs straddle his side. Silver lowered his body slowly, pushing his tip into her yearning lips. He gave one soft lick along her muzzle as he pushed, trying to break the seal and enter into warmth awaiting him within. She took one final breath before he breached, his throbbing cock at last entering her body.

Silver's eyes bloomed wide, the heat and close quarters were hard to push into. Shaman gasped as little by little he was sinking himself inside her. He found a depth he could handle and shuddered. His bright, blue eyes closed a moment before slowly unveiling them to her once more. Shaman was breathing deeply, but amidst the surge of new sensations she kept her loving gaze fixated on him.

Silver leaned down, licking her lips as she flashed her tongue along his. Their muzzles soon overlapped, allowing their mouths free access to one another's. Slowly, Silver began movements in and out, rocking her body gently with each push. She loosed a moan with each press into her body. Her legs grasped his side tight as he mated her. She had become so very wet, a subtle squish escaping from her lips with every thrust.

Releasing herself from his muzzle, she tossed her head back and let a short wail escape. Her front paws dangled over her chest, bouncing from each thrust. Shaman made small movements of her own, pushing against Silvers intruding shaft. He braced himself on the ground and started to thrust with more vigor.

Shaman reached back up for his neck, pulling her head beneath his. The swell of pleasure began to envelope the whole of her body, tingles running down her spine and shooting down to her legs, forcing them to grow weak. Her walls within convulsed and began to climax. Silver felt it immediately, the hot flesh within began to tug at him spastically, rhythmically, as if trying to draw in all that he could bare.

It began to set him off, pushing his leg forward, he forced the tie, his knot breeching inside and sealing her once virgin body off. Shaman yelped at the intrusion, but didn't dare ask him to relent. As her climax ended, Silver's soon began, gasping his hard cock came alive within, expelling thick white streams of seed.

She felt it pour in, filling her vault and splashing against her walls. It was as if he was cooling the heat inside, making slick the sore yet pleasured walls within. Silver kept his eyes slammed tight, gasping and panting with each spastic release. With the torrent slowing down, he revealed his eyes to the wolf below him. Shaman was panting, but still wore her beautiful smile as she stroked his ears and neck.

"I love you." Silver managed to say between rampant pants.

"I love you too, Silver." She whimpered lightly. Silver took her lips to his and kissed her passionately. He kept their tie locked in place while Shaman bathed in the ecstasy of the moment.

She had really done it; she had mated with an outsider. But to her, it wasn't just some wolf that had come calling. It was her love, her hero. Someone who was willing to put her above all others, who gave up his home to take her back to her own. "Hold me." She begged, pulling him in close. He didn't hesitate to oblige, careful as he lay onto his side he pulled her in as close as he could without breaking the lock they had formed below.

Shaman placed her head on his neck and sighed softly. Losing herself to the euphoria of the moment, she felt a need for sleep creep up inside. Still Shaman fought it off, keeping to the warmth of her mates grip.

After good while together, Shaman picked herself up and shook out her fur. The warm sun was still high overhead with not a single cloud to obstruct it. Sighing she took her cloak into her maw and started to put it over her back. Silver chuckled and interjected on her behalf, gently pulling it over her head and guiding her ears in. She smiled once it was fit in properly, locked once again upon Silver's eyes.

"Your just as beautiful without it, you know?" He complimented, stroking her cheek.

"That's not the only reason I wear it. Kind of like this." She replied, showing off her earring.

"Heh, I don't know how I got so lucky. But I'm grateful for you."

"I'm grateful for you to." Shaman moaned, leaning in to nuzzle his cheek.

"So!" Roque called from the air, startling the two below. "I must say, the field mice here are so ripe and plump. I bet I could go a week on just one." He chuckled.

"That's great!" Silver eagerly complimented.

"Yeah, fantastic. I mean, for you. The field mice." Shaman babbled along.

"Uh huh." Roque agreed, a little off put by the two. "So, what have you been up to? Didn't exactly cover any distance while I was away."

"Relax Roque, we took a little break. She briefed me a little more on the goings on in her pack. That sort of stuff." Silver explained, feeling his composure returned.

"Right, lots to go over, including how to deal with Luna's smart mouth." Shaman contributed.

"I see." Roque accepted reluctantly. "Well no matter, let's get back on track as it were. Come on you two." He called out, fleeing ahead down the track. Silver and Shaman giggled as they looked to each other and followed along.

The route was quite a break from the mountain trail. Soft grass cushioning their feet and most of the route ran down hill. The heat was a bit much for Silver, having been used to dealing with harsh cold for the better parts of the year but, the suns warmth wasn't what he was preoccupied with. He occasionally crept up on Shaman, giving her folds a quick lick to tease her. She'd giggle and shoo him away playfully, often turning it into a game of chase along the tracks.

In the late afternoon they took the forest to hunt. Shaman showcased her brilliant hearing once more and worked in tandem with Silver to bring down a few plump rabbits. After the hearty meal they would escape from the forest to find the tracks and carry on until the late evening. The sun escaping behind the trees, slowly filling the sky with darker shades of blue and releasing a cool air to calm the heat built up from the day.

Aiming for the trees, Shaman and Silver settled in for the night and waited for Roque to take a perch. Much too Silver's chagrin, he sat rather close by. He had hoped for another more intimate encounter with Shaman.

"Hey Roque?" He called out. His friend opened his eyes and glanced down.

"Yes?"

"Think you can take a little, higher perch? Don't wanna get caught off guard by other predators." He requested.

"What other- oh." Shaman cut herself off. "Yeah, Roque just in case there's other packs trying to move in? Might be safer." Roque just smiled, shaking his head at the two of them.

"Certainly." He called back. "I was young once to." Roque whispered to himself. Silver and Shaman slowly turned to one another, smiles plastered across their faces.

"Good to go again?" Silver chuckled lightly. Shaman laughed and hid her face, it was still an adjustment hearing him be so forward, but in a strange way, she absolutely loved it.

"Not gonna romance me first?" She giggled, rising to her feet. Silver rushed in and stole away her lips, drawing in a long soft kiss before pulling away.

"Better?" He asked softly.

"Much." She giggled, rolling onto her back. Silver was already quite excited and had little trouble mounting her again. She took a firm hold and braced herself for the ride, kissing and bathing his chin and lips. They mated repeatedly under the cover of night, until exhaustion claimed Silver's body, dropping into her arms. Shaman held him fast while he left himself tied below, she never wanted him to withdraw. Together they took for themselves the night, locked in each other's warm embrace.

The next morning wasn't a welcome sight. Shaman and Silver had grown quite comfortable in the night and were reluctant to release one another. A bit of coaxing from Roque however did the trick and within the hour they were back on track. The walk was easy, but the view was making Silver hard once more. Shaman kept glancing back with soft eyes, tantalizing him to come closer.

Silver eventually took to walking at her side while she closed her eyes and leaned on his shoulder, letting him carry the burden of guiding her home. Breaking out a devious little smile, he made himself suddenly scarce and let Shaman flop to her side in surprise. Silver burst out laughing, gaining a little distance from her.

"Sorry bout that!" He carried on, laughing as she bolted to her feet.

"You are so, dead!" She called aloud, laughing as she took to chasing him down. He led her back toward the forests edge. Shaman eventually caught up and tackled him to the ground, playfully nipping at his neck. "My turn!" She exclaimed, lunging from his body and making a break back for the tracks.

"Oh no you don't!" Silver answered sharply, rushing to persue. She lead him on a good chase along the grassy opening between the track and forest for a good while before he finally caught up and tumbled with her to the ground. Lying underneath him losing her breath to a mixture of laughter and panting, she playfully batted at his chest.

"Bad boy, you're not supposed to pick on girls." She lightly scolded.

"Well you're a special exception." Silver concluded. Ducking his head under her arm, he hoisted her back to her feet. For all the good it did, she carried on leaning into his shoulder, brushing him affectionately and licking at his ear.

"The two of you, I swear." Roque chuckled swooping in before them.

"It's a good way to work up an appetite." Silver interjected.

"Oh yes, I can see that." He shrugged off. Silver started to become aware of his own arousal, Shaman was really pressing in on his body and with her scent still flowing, it wasn't hard to get him excited. Roque was about ready to take flight again when Silver interjected.

"Hey Roque, been a while since we've had a decent catch. Think you can scout around, see if there's any good game?" He asked.

"Certainly, leave the two love sick puppies alone for a while? Whatever do the two of you have planned?" He grinned looking back to his friend. Silver wasn't doing a very effective job of hiding his arousal and even left Shaman giggling helplessly. Silver couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.

The two watched as he took to the sky before Shaman made the move and met Silver face to face. All she could do was shake her head before planting it on his shoulder. Silver started to embrace her, running his chin up and down along her back, before finally breaking the silence.

"Think he's on to us?" He wondered. Shaman giggled once more and pulled away, gesturing between his legs.

"Well you're not exactly subtle, if you catch my drift." Silver pulled her back in and resumed his massage with his chin.

"I can't help it lately around you." He confessed, licking under her cloak.

"Then don't." Shaman stated. "Just be with me." Silver took a break from her neck and began to give long, passionate kisses. Shaman flopped to her back, a comfortable position she had adapted to during their courtship. Silver let his cock slip low along her slit, teasing her entrance with his already hard member while Shaman seemed content to engulf his muzzle with her own. Her legs locked onto his body, keeping a fast hold as his flesh delved within. Shaman gasped and broke her lock on Silver's muzzle. He kept himself buried inside, grinding lightly on the entrance of her body with his knot. Bracing himself once more, he took long smooth strokes in and out.

Shaman's breathing grew loud with a soft tremble escaping from time to time. Though immensely pleasurable, she found herself needing to adapt to his body with each coupling. Silver didn't take long to pick up his pace, his tongue falling out as he began to pant by her ear. She loved the soft wisp of his breath flow passed, embracing the warmth of his body as it brushed against hers.

Shaman began pulling him in while Silver slammed his eyes tight; the two were building their climaxes in unison. As she began to moan and wail, Silver pressed his knot inside and began to grind, pushing it in as deep as he could. It was enough to set her off, the warm tingling began surging through her body till it found its target within. Contracting and squeezing, she started milking him as he released. Though the two of them reaching climax wasn't uncommon, it was the first time they had made it there together.

With the torrent slowing and his knot sealing off her insides, Silver brought his nose to hers, touching in loving affection. As they settled down, flashing licks to one another they took one more kiss.

"I love you." Shaman whispered.

"I love you too." Silver happily replies, rubbing their noses together. They stayed locked in the euphoric pose until hearing Roque behind them clearing his throat.

"Did I, interrupt something?" He asked in a smug little tone. Silver and Shaman suddenly halted all affection and slowly looked back. "There was only the most subtle of hints, something was going on." He carried on, laying the sarcasm on thick.

"What was your first clue?" Silver asked bashfully.

"The fact you sniffed her tail end, that was a start." He hastily answered. "You can't put one passed me my friend, but you don't need to hide it from me. Mate all you like, just ask me to excuse myself is all. Or wait till I get some sleep."

"Sorry." Silver and Shaman replied one after another.

"Now I know you two are all tied up at the moment but do try to get back on your feet, we should get you home soon. I think Khari and Keledrin have worried long enough for their friend." Roque stated. Shaman agreed and began work to untie herself from her mate.

After separating, the three were back on track headed toward the next station. With nightfall, Silver and Shaman excused Roque and took to each other's company to sleep. After another intimate session, Shaman laid in his arms with her head cradled in his neck. She had begun to feel guilty about how close they had come without her telling him what may happen when they arrive home. Rather than debate it in her mind, she decided to take the direct route and speak with him.

"Silver, there's something you need to know, when we get there." She began as her paw stroked through his fur.

"What's that, lover?" He sighed happily, barely awake.

"When we get back, we can't, you know. Do this."

"What?" He questioned, keeping his voice low.

"Don't worry; it's not a permanent thing. It's just, in my pack, only the alpha can breed with the mate of his choice." Shaman quickly explained.

"Luna, right?" Silver recalled.

"Yeah." Shaman trailed off. "Just, have faith in me. I'll find a way for us to be together. You know you have my heart."

"And you have mine. But Shaman, if Marodan catches wind. Or if you, you know get-"

"I know, I know." She consoled. "Trust me, I promise we'll be together. But when we get back, we can't be this close." Silver let out a heavy sigh; he was not a fan of this idea. He felt a little betrayed that she didn't tell him about this sooner, but rather then dwell on that, he took to her advice and kept faith.

"I'm not looking forward to this, then. But if you promise we'll be together."

"I do!" She assured him. "But it won't be long. I'll work fast."

"I trust you, love." He consented, keeping a firm hold of her body. Shaman squeezed him tight; she didn't want the night to end. Letting a tear escape, she buried herself in his neck and closed her eyes. Hoping with all her heart her plan would work, and that this would not be the last time they held one another through the night.

The morning light broke through; the grass had become damp and cool. Shaman's eyes slowly opened, feeling the first rays kiss her back. She could feel the ache in her heart swell, she was torn. One way to her friends that she loved so dearly and another to her mate she had held fast in the night. Her only comfort, aside from the slow rise and fall of his breath, was the belief that their time apart as lovers would only be short lived.

Shaman had to stay strong though, she knew this. Any doubt bubbling to the surface would rouse concern from Silver. After a few moments, running the words "It'll work, have faith." Through her mind, she planted a soft kiss on Silver's neck.

"You're up?" He asked, much to her surprise.

"You too?" She questioned right back.

"I was watching the sunrise." They took a good long squeeze together before meeting face to face.

"Have faith in me?" Shaman pleaded, stroking his head with her paw.

"In us, yeah." He affirmed. She took his lips and gave a good long kiss.

"Morning you two!" Roque called out, landing beside them. "Ready to see your friends again?" Shaman hesitated for a moment to answer him, but gazing into Silver's eyes, she gradually felt more confidence in her plan.

"Yeah, let's go!" She beamed, releasing from Silver and rising to her feet. They both shook out their fur and stretched, shaking off the remains of any sleep. Rather than take the lead, Shaman leaned on Silver's side as they took to the tracks. They stayed quiet as they ventured on, aiming at last for home, as the station became visible on the horizon.

Within two hours, they arrived. Shaman looked around eagerly at the empty tracks and booth nearby. The layout was precisely as she recalled. The switch in-between the branching tracks, the dip in the tree line where she came out. Roque decided to perch on Silver's back until she could conclude it. She was quick to inform them that this was indeed her stop. Passing into the forest, they began the last leg of their journey. Silver took a good look around, astonished by the beauty of the forest.

The trees had begun to change to amber and orange, littering the ground with dead leaves that tussled about in the soft wind. Though a little ominous to him, it was still a warm, comforting sight for Shaman.

Shaman's ears twitched, tossing her paw out in front of Silver and halting him.

"Hold it." She whispered, setting herself upright as she shot her muzzle up. She could hear off the distance something moving, one soft, and one heavy. She gestured for him to follow, keeping her footing light and swift.

In a flash, she leapt into the bushes and caught something just as it dove in. It was a small rabbit, trapped helplessly in Shaman's jaws. She made the kill quick and set the creature down as a wolf came bounding through the trees. Shaman smiled as it approached, the face so familiar. "Gotta be faster baby, that's another one I got." She joked, looking on lovingly to Khari.

Khari fell back in awe, her jaw slacked, she felt her heart well up with joy as it showered from her eyes.

"Shay-shay?!" She stammered. "My girl?!"

"I'm home." Shaman answered, feeling a tear of her own escape.

"Shay-shay!!" Khari screamed, rushing for her friend. Khari and Shaman collided and tumbled to the ground. They licked each other over and over as Khari cried out her name over and over.

"It's ok, Khari. I'm back, I'm home." Shaman consoled her, picking herself up with Khari continually licking at her cheek and neck.

"Khari?! Where are you?! Did you lose it?" Keledrin called.

"Nah, I got it!" Shaman called back.

"The fuck?" She heard him mumble as he came into view. Much like Khari his jaw hit the floor at the sight before him. "Shaman." He whispered.

"No hug?" Shaman pleaded lightly. In a frantic rush, he hurled himself into her and wrapped her up tight. Shaman embraced him and licked his neck and cheek. "I missed you two, so much!"

"I'm so glad your home, cloaky. Thing's haven't been right without you." Kelendrin stammered, choking back his tears.

"I'm home now." She assured him. Silver and Roque watched in awe at the spectacle. Roque in particular felt touched, wiping away a tear from his eye. "Guys, I want you to meet two incredible friends. The wolf there is Silverwolf, my hero." She cooed.

"Hero?" Khari wondered.

"That hit I took?" Shaman reminded her. "Silver cleaned me up, fed me, gave me water and worked hard to guide me back home. The owl is Roque and he's an incredible friend. He's wise, can read human words and is an amazing hunter and scout. He's been Silver's mentor for a long time, and I love his feathery butt." She giggled.

"Pleasure to meet you at last, Shaman speaks so fondly of the two of you." Roque bowed.

"Nice to meet you." Silver greeted. Khari slowly approached him with Keledrin in tow, stopping just short of his face she planted herself down.

"You guided her, all the way back home?" She questioned softly.

"Yeah, it's been a pretty crazy trip." Silver smiled. Khari suddenly leapt into his chest and brushed up against him.

"Thank you so much, any friend of Shay's is a friend of mine." Khari reaffirmed. Keledrin smiled and extended his paw. Silver reached out and tapped it with a smile.

"We owe you one, brother. Big time. You name the time and place; I'll be there for ya." Keledrin greeted.

"Thanks friend, I mean, brother." Silver praised. "I am looking for a pack to join."

"Come on then, I'll make sure it gets done." Keledin assured him. Shaman scooped up the rabbit in her mouth and walked alongside Khari. The two leaned in to one another. Silver kept Roque perched on his back and followed aside Keledrin. "So she's told you about Marodan?"

"Oh yeah." Silver nodded as they walked on.

"Luna?"

"Mmhmm."

"Good, if you can deal with those two it's fair to say you're in. When we get back, here's what you gotta do." Keledrin began explaining. Shaman looked back to Silver with a smile now and then and he was always quick to return it. With their eyes alone, they understood. But Shaman felt sure now, that soon she would have him again, and the time to reveal her plans to Khari and Keledrin, was soon upon them.
