Chapter 1: Lost And Found

This is the first chapter of a somewhat long series I have planned for. Comment Please. Give ideas and maybe I will include it in a chapter.
DJ was a 15 year old boy who lived in Oron town in the Hoenn region. He was a skilled guitarist who eventually made a band with some of his friends called the Prime Time Playlist. DJ had always wanted to go on his own Pokemon adventure, but he was never able to catch one. He only had 1 Pokeball so he couldn't afford to waste it. He worked as a photographer for his town's newspaper.
One day his parents, who were the lead editors, had a stoey but asked DJ if he could get an action shot of some pokemon. DJ said yes but before he could leave his mother said, "Be careful not to disturb them honey." DJ packed his gear and set out to the nearby forest. "Now what could be an interesting action shot?" DJ thought. After taking plenty of action shots, DJ eventually decided to use the picture of a group of Poocheyena's jumping off of a little ledge in front of him.
DJ started to walk back to the town when he heard a some branches snap nearby. After quietly investigating, DJ found a small opening with a Pokemon egg near the middle. DJ called out to see if any pokemon had lost their egg, but there was no response.The egg was black and blue and also didn't truely move, so he knew it wasn't close to hatching. DJ knew he couldn't just leave it here all alone, so he wrapped it in a blanket and took it home.
He got home and immediately showed his parents and said he finally had a pokemon. After answering some questions, like where did he get it, his parents let him keep it. DJ was so happy, he couldn't wait to see what Pokemon would hatch from it.
