Chapter 2: Omega's Secret

AUTHOR'S NOTES: Not much of note here. Continuing off from the previous chapter. I will note that the Strip Note at the bottom of each chapter is which strips were covered in the chapter itself.
INEVITABLE DISCLAIMER: This chapter features violent fighting and some bad language. If you can take any of this, do not read it.
Lune falls down to the ground, her limbs limp, and her face falling to the side. Her lifeless eyes had managed to close. Her two daughters can only stare in horror, tears welling from their eyes. Omega seems to grin with his skeletal face, letting out a deep chuckle. Ru develops a scowl, her teeth closed and bearing as she stares up at the fiend, growling. Omega just keeps the smile up, before a sudden blast of energy comes and nails him in the face. He groans in annoyance, and snaps his stare to where it came from. Vulpa's eyes brighten up just a bit. "F-Father! You're alive!" She says.
Silver, wounded in his left chest and bleeding, stands panting with one arm outward after having fired that blast. "Y... You can't defeat me that easily, Omega..." He says, coughing a few times afterward.
Ru stares at what's happening, Vulpa as well. Omega just growls low. Silver stares him down, not showing any fear whatsoever. "Curse you... You killed my mate... but I won't let you touch... my daughters, you... b-bastard!" He coughs a few times, "What are you waiting for?! COME HERE!!"
Silver takes a step forward, but then groans, falling down to one knee, his right hand coming up to grip his wound. Omega just breathes back, fire appearing his mouth. "N...No... I can't move..." Silver mumbles, looking up at the fireball, and then down to the ground, closing his eyes. It seems... my injuries are more serious that I thought...
Ru, her eyes wide and terrified, seeing her father fall. "Daddy!! Daddy, dodge the attack!! ... he's too weak..."
Omega makes a roar sound as an orange flash shines momentarily before a large stream of fire unloads from his mouth, headed straight for Silver. He opens his eyes one last time to see it coming, standing up to his feet, and stretching out his arms. I'm doomed... My daughters, please be strong... And I truly hope you are the prophecy child, my Ru... He once again lowers his head, and closes his eyes. Lune, I will meet with you soon...
The attack strikes him then, and his loud scream of pain erupts through the forest. "NO!!!" Ru yells.
"FATHEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!" Vulpa screams.
The two daughters witness their father disintegrate in the fire blast, before Omega stops it, and begins to laugh. Vulpa clenches her fists, tears staining the fur on her cheek. "... For my father and my mother... I WILL defeat you, Omega!" But... I don't have a choice... I have to use THAT technique...
She raises her arms up some, her legs widening, her fists clenched so tight that her arms are quivering. Father told me not to use it, because I'm too young... And if I do it, I likely can't turn back... But I don't care! They're dead... Spinel is dead... I have nothing to lose! I must be stronger!
She lets out a cry, and begins to concentrate. Her footclaws dig into the ground, and her leg suddenly bulges out in muscles. Her other leg follows suit, and go upward, up her thighs and body, causing her dress to tear. Her arms come next, large muscles going down and causing the bandages around her biceps to completely blast to pieces, leaving only bandage on her fists. Her tail seems to get a bit fluffier, and the hair on her head gets a tad longer. She stops concentrating, and raises one arm to look at it, bandage hanging off the back of her hand. She's only in her panties now, which look a bit small on her. Her dress completely tore aside from her chest, which is threatening to break right through the rest anyway. There... My power must have increased enough now... Be prepared, Omega!
Her eyes turn to Omega as she lowers her arm and holds both them out, growling. But for some reason, Omega isn't paying her any attention. He's growling, but not at her. ... What? What is he looking at... She turns around and gasps. Ru!!
Behind her, Ru is standing still. Something snapped inside of her when her father was immolated. She stands there with her teeth bared in a rather angry snarl. Her eyes have gone blank, and a solid aura of blue energy is radiating around her, leaving her red scarf billowing upward, and the bottom of her green dress flowing. Ru... She's letting off so much energy... Is that even her? Vulpa thinks to herself.
Ru then speaks. "You... You killed my Daddy... My mommy... I will never forgive you, Omega!! I WILL DEFEAT YOU!!"
Ru then looks at the ground, the look in her eyes and face never changing. She reaches down, and grabs just a stick off the ground, though a sharp looking one, holding it out to her side. Vulpa stares at her, though takes a few steps away, so she's not blocking the way. This power she's expelling... Father and mother weren't even that strong... It's scaring me...
A very powerful energy begins to surround the wooden stick as Ru holds it, the stick becoming enveloped in the same blue glow that was surrounding her. The stick then starts to shine a pure white, the blue energy almost looking like fire. With a loud growl, she pulls her arm back, and throws the stick like a blue-flaming spear. "HAA!!!"
The stick seems to just turn into a beam of blue energy in the middle of flight. Omega, not fearing it, reaches out his hand. It would be futile, as the stick goes straight through his hand, and then in a direct route right through his forehead. With an earth-shattering roar, Omega's head rears back, yellow fire-like light shining from his eyes. He falls completely backward, onto the ground. "... RU! You're amazing!!" Vulpa yells.
Ru then blinks, and stops snarling, her eyes regaining the pupils that were missing. "... Huh?" She stutters.
"That must have done so much.... damage... Uh, Ru?" Vulpa says.
Ru blinks again, and looks over to her sister, and gasps. "Sister!! ... What happened? You're... You're all muscled... and... What's going on?" She says, stuttering.
Vulpa looks at her, confused a bit herself. "What? You don't remember anything?" She must have lost her consciousness in that state... It was like a rage when our parents fell... She unconsciously awoke that power? Unbelievable...
Ru just looks at her, shaking, and utterly confused. "V-Vulpa..."
Vulpa smiles gently, and takes her sister in her arms. "That's not important right now, Ru... We finished him at last, and it was all thanks to you..."
Ru hugs her, and smiles gently, but then something catches her eye, and she gasps. "Vul... VULPA! Omega is still here!!" She cries out.
"WHAT?" Vulpa yells, spinning around.
Sure enough, the Omega that just went down from the beam, as sat up to a seated position, his eyes affixed on the girl. No... How could that attack have not defeated him? Vulpa thinks.
Omega then begins to make weird sounds, like grogging groans and roars. He outstretches his hand, and it... begins to change. The hole inside of it starts to patch up, and clothing is beginning to materialize: A shirt sleeve. "S-Sister?" Ru says, shivering.
"What's happening... Is... Is Omega transforming?" Vulpa states.
More of his body begins to warp as he slowly stands to a seated position. He stares down at them with his skeletal face, which becomes slowly enveloped in a strange red energy, and then reappears, as a full face. A more human-like face rather than monster, though he is far from human. His skin is a deep red, his hair still long and white, though much more neater looking. He's now wearing clothing, in the form of wide pants, shirt, belt, and over it, a purple vest with many pockets. The hand he had forward is outstretched to his side, surrounded in a light blue energy that looks like fire. "Heh heh heh heh..." He says, in a voice that's much more understandable, rather than a monster.
Ru and Vulpa stand speechless at what's before them. Omega just smiles, his yellow eyes staring down at them. "I must congratulate you little creatures... You and your parents managed to actually hurt me. You are one of the very few warriors to force me to transform into this form." Omega states, his voice well more distinguished, even intelligent.
"... This... form?" Vulpa states.
"I will have to advise you. The Omega you were just fighting was not my real shape. I was using not even half my power in that form... you could say... 40 percent. But now, my power is around 70 percent." He explains, his hand raising and letting off a pulse of energy. "I hope you're prepared, because I am far more dangerous than before."
"W... What? Second shape? No... It has to be a nightmare... You were destroyed!" Vulpa yells out to him.
"Heh heh heh... I am not defeated yet. However... I can see you two have great powers as well. I'm most impressed by that little sister of yours... Just as I thought in my plans..."
Vulpa narrows her eyes a bit, staring up at him. "What are you talking about?" She growls. "What do you want from my sister?"
Omega chuckles, releasing the energy from his arm and lowering it to his side. "I got wind of a prophecy. It said that in the descendant family of a great warrior, a child would be born, that would be destined to defeat me. So, I purposely angered your little sister past the breaking point, to see if she was the kemono child described to me in this prophecy." He explains.
Ru clicks her eyelids a bit wide. Vulpa looks to her once, before back at Omega, as he continues. "I have decided, after seeing what she did, she is without a doubt the child from this prophecy. She is a potential obstacle in my demonic conquest of this world. That is why... I am here to destroy her!! Ha ha ha ha!!"
Ru whimpers, her body shaking, and her arms latching onto her sister's arm out of reflex. Otherwise, she's paralyzed with fear. Vulpa looks down at her, and then pulls her arm away, turning to face her. She places her paws under her sister's chin, looking at her face. "Ru... Don't worry..."
The blue wolf stutters, her jaw quivering, as she tries to speak, but nothing comes out of her. Vulpa gives her a gentle smile, care and love shining in her blue eyes. "Be brave, my little sister... I promise that I will never leave you to be lonely, and that I will always be here to protect you..."
Ru stops her shaking, and swallows, looking up at her sister's caring face and managing to smile. "Vulpa..."
Vulpa lets go of her then and stands straighter. Omega chuckles. "Oh... How touching..." He booms out.
Vulpa growls, turning to look at Omega, her eyes growing determined. "Oh, can it." She says.
She turns to fully face Omega, her arms out and ready. "Sister!" Ru says.
Vulpa looks straight up at Omega, not even scowling, her face showing the lack of fear and wealth of determination that her father once showed before. "If you think that I will let you harm my sister, then you are wrong! I will be the warrior to defeat you, Omega!!"
Omega just looks down at her, a smile on his face that has been there the entire time. Vulpa speeds forward. "This time it's for real!"
Omega's smile extends into a smirk. "So you decide to attack me at last! Heh heh... This will be fun..."
Vulpa growls as she leaps into the air. "I'm going to knock that stupid smile off your fucking face!!"
"Then GO FOR IT!"
Vulpa lets out a yell, and she begins to unload her fists in a barrage of punches. They go so fast, it's hard for Ru to see them. However, not a single one touches Omega. Vulpa stops, yelling out again, and unloading a barrage of many kicks at Omega's face. But none hit. She notices now that they're striking some sort of red energy. ... What... I can't touch him. Is this some kind of magic shield?
"Heh heh heh... Didn't you say you could knock the smile off my face?" Omega states.
Vulpa, beginning to fall, kicks herself off the shield and backflips toward the ground. Shit! This magic is too powerful... I can't get through it with physical attacks... I know what I have to use...
Her flip ends a few yards away from Omega, and she's already concentrating by the time she lands. Ru, from far away, watches intently. Vulpa, growling and glaring at Omega, throwing her arms behind her head, like she did earlier. A green electric-like energy begins to rapidly form, her eyes shining. This has to work... "OMEGA! This is for my father, my mother, and Spinel! ULTRA RAGNAROK WOLF!!"
She throws her arms forward, and a massive green blast erupts from her hands, the end of it turning into the face of a wolf, it's eyes blank and glaring, and it's maw open with teeth bared. Omega raises a brow. "Ah... You used this on me before... But I can see it's more powerful this time... Very interesting..." He glares at the incoming blast, chuckling and smiling, raising one of his arms and forming a shield of yellow energy in front of the arm. "Let's see how strong it truly is..."
