My frozen soul saved by love part 5

Me and Dante drive back to my house trying to recollect on what just happened at the coffee shop. " So tell me again why people are after you, Kaisif ". Dante says to me with a worried face.

"Like I told your already they are after my power that was given to me from this celestial spirit, so they can use it to destroy the world". I say while were only a two streets away from my house and I begin to look out the window shocked to see a trail of blood on the sidewalk leading down the street.

"Dante go faster we need to get to my house as soon as possible I think something bad might have happened here!". Dante kicks the car into full throttle and the engine boomed as we zoomed down the street making it to my house in a second. " Crap! The trail of blood leads back here to my house".

I say pointing to the bloody path made into my house. We both walk in slowly looking around and the blood leads upstairs. "

Kaisif lets check up stairs that's where the trail goes". I nod my head in agreement. I make my way up the stairs as Dante follows behind me and as soon as we get to the top I walk towards my parents room and grab the door knob. "

On the count of three Dante ok. 1,2,3". I open the door and shocked to see to blood splats on my parents bed, but I also noticed that there was a note on the bed.

The note said " We have your parents and we are going to sacrifice them to revive the eternal demon unless you use your power to destroy the world.

" Any resistance will result in sudden death as I will send my elite assassination squad The Skull Seven and they'll terminate you and all your friends too". I begin to sob and fall to the ground as Dante walks over to me and places his hand on my shoulder.

" So what does the note say, did they kidnapped your parents?" I hand him the note and as he reads it his expressions change so much it looks like he read a whole book on how to make faces for dummies.

" Kaisif we are going to save your parents and were going to make them suffer for what they did to you I'll kill them all for messing with you". I jump up and grab Dante with both my arms.

" Dante stop I don't want to see anymore of my friends killed because of this stupid power let me handle th..." He turns around and slaps me in the face. I look up to see him crying as his tears fall on my face.

" You idiot I'm not going to stand by and let you fight these maniacs by yourself your too damn important to me and I don't know what I'd do with myself if you died".

He kisses me on the lips and I begin to cry even more and i'm happy knowing that I can count on him to understand what I'm going through as we kiss for a minute before I break the kiss.

" Ok Dante, but only the two of us won't be able to take on all seven of them including the head guy in charge we are going to need help on this assault mission". I said looking hopeless trying to ponder an idea of who could help us.

"Don't worry Kaisif help is more closer than you think" Dante says. I gasped. "Where is this so called help, Dante and please don't tell me your thinking of the police". Dante pulls out his phone and begins dialing numbers as he walks out into the hallway.

I walk over to the blood stained bed and begin to feel how cold the bed felt, but there was something wrong with this bed. "Let's see what under the bed here."

I lift the bed up only to find a rainbow colored skull siting in the middle of the floor where my parent's bed was. Cautiously I walk over to the skull and pick it up as on the inside is a timer with 60 seconds starting on the clock.

Quickly I run out the door and grab Dante and he jerks back "wait, what's wrong tell me Kaisif". "Dante there's a bomb in the room run". We both jump down stairs and jump out the window as there house explodes in a thin-second and I turn around as I watch my house where I grew in burn before my eyes as the images rewind themselves in my head over and over.

I fall to the ground and cover my face as I cry hard as my tears wet my jacket sleeves in only a second. Dante walks over and holds me against his chest as I cry on him wondering why... "Why did they have to go this far for this stupid power now they have even gone so low as to sacrifice my parents to summon some stupid demon".

Dante and I are in his car driving slowly as we make our way down the street "Hey, lets listen to music that should cheer you up" Here pushes the radio button and I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf begins to play.

He reaches down to change the song but my hand stops him "No I want to listen to this so I can drown out my anger!!" I shout at Dante as he reaches away and I just get myself lost in the lyrics.

Dante stop the car as we are in front of a hill top with glossy grass everywhere and one tall oak tree standing on the cliff of the hill.

I got out the car and made my way toward the hill, but I was stopped by Dante's paw grabbing my maw. He stare completely at my eyes as I was too sad and baffled by him being so close to me.

"Kaisif, look I know it must be hard for you right now losing your parents and everything, but crying will not get them back".

Dante say to me trying to reassure me that those guys will pay for what they did. Little did he know I wasn't only upset about my parents.

I was upset that if Dante tried to come along and play hero he might get killed in the process and It's bad enough that my parents are gone I don't want anyone else to have to bear my burden.

"Dante, do you really know why I'm crying so much and do you really think I'm only upset over my parents"! I asked angrily .

"Here let me put it like this, I don't want anyone having to bear this burden but me because it's my own problem that need to take care of, but I don't want to have meaningless blood spilled because of what I've become"

I remove Dante's paw and quickly take a glance at him as he's crying his eyes out, but instead of giving him a hug I walk towards the oak tree as quick as I can.

As soon as I get there I stare up at the moon watching as it's bright and luminous ray of light shine down upon me. I sit down and place my arms around myself trying to find some momentary solace in this cruel world.

My ears perk up as I hear the sound of footsteps coming closer to me and I see Dante standing there looking angry as ever probably the most angriest I've ever seen him.

"Do think your going to bear this burden by yourself because even if you were different from what you were before I'd run to the ends of the earth to help you in anyway possible just so I could make you feel special again".

I stand up quickly and I grit my teeth as I barked out "Dante why are you going so far with this that your willing to throw your life away for a monster freak like myself!" I bawl up my fist and punch the tree as blood started to drip from my knuckles.

"I'm unworthy of love and affection in the form I have now so why do you want to die just to help out a friend.

"You'll have to come up with a better answer then that"

I start turn my back on him, but as I turn suddenly I'm knocked to the ground by Dante and as I'm on my back I stare into those turquoise blue eyes of his and he tells me"I'm doing all of this for you because your someone whose worth dying for and your not a demon you're a fucking living person, so stop putting yourself down like that because if you do that how will I be able to save you"?

"You can't save me I'm destined for ruin why save something that's already falling to pieces". I say. "It's because those pieces are so precious to me that I want to fix and put the pieces back together so you can be whole again".

I begin to sob at the sound of those words and I hug Dante as he hugs me back with loving embrace making me feel happy to replace the darkness that was roaming around my heart from tonight.

After our little scene Dante picked me up and took me to the car and I told him I was big enough to walk on my own ,but he insisted. "Kaisif I haven't be completely been honest with you". I stare at him wonder what secrets has he been hiding from me.

"So what is it don't leave me standing here waiting". I say. He enters the car I follow his lead soon after and he starts the engine. "I'm going to have to take you to my house because it's the only way we'll get there". I look at him puzzled. "Get where"?

"You'll see". He drives the car along the street, but I was drowsy after the hard day I had so I decided to fall asleep. In my dream I see the spirit again floating right in front of me.

"We meet again chosen one". it says. "Stop calling me that I'm no chosen being you just decided to fuck my life over and make it more harder on me". I said.

"Kaisif get over it we did that to make you stronger and so you could stop your destiny of destroying the world even though I couldn't care what happens to this world." I stand there with my fist balled up and I take a swing at him, but I phase right through him.

" Making the ones who I love fight for me and suffer because of me isn't a DAMN WAY OF MAKING ME STRONGER" !!!! He shakes his head in disappointment.

" I though you were smarter than that I didn't do this to help you, I did this so you could stop the skull group from summoning their monster". I grit my teeth as I look at him "So I'm just merely your pawn in this dumb game of yours". I say.

" Kaisif if you don't stop them from summoning that monster your destiny will change and you'll become evil then you'll destroy everything you love". I begin to get angry but I'm suddenly awoken by the sound of Dante's voice in my ear.

"Wake up sleepy head we are here". I get up from a weird bed and look at Dante's clothes as they have changed dramatically. "What are you wearing"?

He was wearing tight and constricting armor that was laced with leather, wearing a crimson hoodie with the end having a metal tip to give his hood a move pointed figure as it comes down his face and had special markings all over his outfit.

"Well it's a long story.... So he's interrupted by an artic fox jumping on his back slamming him to the ground. "Welcome back leader" Kurter says and then looks up and sees me looking shocked as he had seen a ghost.

" Are you sure he's ready to know about what we really do, Dante"?

Dante get's up and chuckles. Yeah, Kurter he's ready and try saying hello instead of jumping on my back", Dante says as I get up from the bed and walk over to them.

"So where are we and what's with your weird get up, did you guys lose a bet to someone or something. I said laughing at their weird attire.

"Hahaha real funny, but we are actually a part of a creed that I created to destroy any evil uprising that come to send out safe town into a maelstrom".

Kurter walks over and grabs my hand closely examining it. "Ooo Kaisif your hand has a fracture here come this way so I can treat it for you".

he says as he drags me out of the room and into a centter space where a myraid of furs wander around the room working and helping out. " Here this way buddy". Kurter says to me as we enter a room where two foxes with lab coats are mixing together a concoction.

"Hey Kurter long time no see how are the new recuits doing for you"? says the female fox. "Oh there ok maybe a little crazy and judgemental, but ok". says Kurter smiling with a awkward smile. "Felica please pass me the liquid nitrogen and carbon samples".

says the male fox with a determined look on his face. " Ok Bradly calm down you'll get it". says Felica angrily as Bradly's sudden disturbance ticked her off.

"Anyway Kaisif here come follow me to the medicinal room where we can fix your arm".

Kurter says as I nod gentle and follow him as I watch Felica and Bradly squander over the ingredients. Soon we reach the medicinal room and Kurter opens up a cabin and tosses me a vile that contains a strange blue liquid inside of it.

"Drink it slowly otherwise the medicine will only do half of what it's supposed to do". I nod my head listening to his instructions as I drink the liquid nice slow as it had a sort of spicy and sweet flavor to it with a hint of lemon. Soon my arm begins to feel better than it was before.

"Hey how did you know I messed up my arm"? I asked as Kurter closed the cabinet and look at me with a funny smile. "Oh Dante told me about when your parents were gone he notice that your arm was hurt from when you were attacked by those hooded assassins".

I look at him with a half hearted frown as I try to remember when Dante last had communication at all. (A picture in my head of Dante texting on his phone pops up in my head) "Oh, ok I remember now jeez he must not let anything pass his eye".

"You bet that right Kaisif" Dante says as I jump up in the air as he scared me half to death. "Can you not come out of now where you almost gave me a heart attack" Dante rubs his head.

"Sorry my bad". I begin to blush and look down at the floor as I remembered to ask what their creed was really about. "So what is this creed that you made and why did you make it"? " I'm going to have to tell you that story another time ,Kaisif" he says as an alarm on his arm goes off and he dashes out of the room and Kurter follow behind as the room goes completely red.

" Intruder alert, Intruder alert sealing off all exits" "All fighters prepare to engage enemy and all not combatants evacuate the facility". says a computerized voice. " Jeez what's happening now". I say as I walk out the room waiting to see if the enemy was around but they were closer then I thought.
