The Reality Chapter 7: Changing of Seasons
A few months had passed sense I first met Trast and Felli, school was out for summer but I had to stay in the school to continue my studies sense I was a lot farther behind on the language and spelling than most cubs my age, and I could feel the air getting cooler and the leaves began to change colour. The seasons had started to change and my fur coat started to get thicker. I could barely stand the heat from it being my fur so I begun to start dressing lighter. School had finally resumed and my friends Trast and Felli had gotten back from their summer vacation, it had been a really boring. After my classes were over I waited for them to come to my room, it had been a few hours and no one came so I had decided to go look for them.
After I had gotten ready I began to walk around the school I had not been able to find them, I looked in the music room, the drama room, the science labs, but they were no where to be found. I had to be careful sneaking around the campus for if the headmaster or one of the teachers knew I was, I would be in big trouble unless I found Felli or Trast. Over the summer I had gotten used to using my more feral qualities sense there was no students. I tried sniffing the air to see if I could pin down their sent, I think I got it. I had started running chasing the sent, I almost went down on all fours because I knew I could run faster that way, but as I had started the headmaster turned the corner. Stopping quickly I ducked into the closest doorway.
"I hope he did not see me." I said out loud.
"You hope who didn't see you little boy, and why are you in the girls washroom?" Said a quiet voice.
I turned around and noticed a wolf girl her fur was silver she was wearing a white hoodie with blue sleeves, there were light blue around the pockets to, she also had on a very short skirt, and had some kind of belt wrapping around her left leg going behind her, hair was a purplish blue colour and odd sort of colour if you ask me and her eyes seemed to be like icy blue that when the light hit them would shine different colours she also had a lollipop in her mouth. This was a peculiar way to dress for this school I wonder who she is.
"I'm hiding from the headmaster I'm not supposed to be out of my room, oh and my name is Kyoga." I said sheepishly.
"Well that answers my first question and the one I going to ask afterwards but why are you in the girls washroom." she again said quietly.
My mouth dropped and without thinking I ran out of the girls washroom straight into the Headmaster. Looks like my plan failed, He grabbed me by my ear and dragged me to his office. He sat me down and he looked really angry. He left the room for a moment and came back inand sat down.
"would you care to explain to me why you were in the girls washroom Kyoga, and also why you were prowling the school grounds without an escort while the regular students are around." Said the headmaster.
The quiet voice said something. "That would be my fault father he looked like he needed a place to hide so I dragged him in there, and he ran away after he saw where we were."
"Kira, this was your doing for him being in the washroom?" The headmaster asked questioning if it was true.
"Yes father and I told you to call me Misery, I don't want to be known as the headmasters daughter while I'm here." she said never speaking louder than when we first met.
"I left my room to look for Trast and Felli, I could not find them." I finally spoke up.
He then told me to stick out my paws I obeyed his commands and he took out a ruler and had begun to hit my paws with it. I whimpered with every smack, he hit my paws a total for thirty times, then he turned to his daughter and did the same to her, but she did not even seem to flinch at it.
"Make sure you were your uniform and I will respect what you want to be called Ki- I mean Misery." said the headmaster as he dismissed us.
I had begun to walk to my room and Misery was following me, it was weird she seemed so depressed about life but at the same time she was smiling at me. I had gotten to my door and she was still there right behind me. I felt a chill go down my spine it was creepy she did not even say a word she just stood behind me I unlocked my door and went in trying to close it behind me but Misery was trying to get in as well.
"You cant come into my private room, only teachers are allowed." I said to her.
Misery replied. "Oh so you aren't allowed to have friends up there, what a shame."
She then had left and I closed the door. As I finished walking up the massive amount of stairs there was a surprise for me. Trast and Felli were both there sitting at my dinner table talking. They had not noticed me yet, so I quietly went behind Felli, and pounced on her. She let out a scream because she had no clue what was going on and Trast fell to the floor laughing. After she had gotten me off he back and into her lap she gave me a hug.
"You're such a monster Kyo, why did you scare me like that." Felli said with a smile.
"I missed you guys so much, and its fun to pounce on you, its been so boring here without you guys." I said sticking my tongue out.
Trast was trying to speak between his laughs. "Just wait until she gets her revenge."
After he had said that she had begun to tickle me, I was squirming and laughing she kept doing it and would not stop, I was screaming for her to stop but she just continued laughing herself. Trast was laughing even harder now because he was not the point of attention when it came to us "fighting" I could not hold it any longer and I had begun to wet myself. She did not take notice to it either and kept tickling me after a few minutes it got hard for me to breath, with all the laughing I had been doing and she finally stopped. I was panting hard because I was out of breath, it took me a few moments to regain the will to move, I had left the room for a moment to change myself. After I just finished putting on a clean diaper I heard a camera go off, I turned and looked around it was Felli standing there with a camera. I had pulled my pants up and I chased after her trying to get the camera.
"Felli, delete that photo that's so not cool." I cried out.
"But its just too cute Kyo I can't." She would say back to me every time.
Trast was on my side with this one and he without Felli noticing he was behind her, her took the camera from her hand and deleted the photo. Trast looked at his watch and then he had left saying he had something he had to take care of. Felli stayed and chatted with me about her summer break and asked how I was doing and what I did over the summer. It sounded like she had a lot of fun with Fonfon, it turns out they had been friends sense they were young cubs I had not known that until now. She was getting ready to leave and saying she was going to be here tomorrow.
For the rest of my night I just sat around studying. I was quite bored and with they had stayed longer to talk it was 8pm I only had 1 hour left till I had to be in bed for the night. I heard a tapping on one of my windows. I looked over and the new girl Misery was standing outside of one of my windows she slowly made her way to the balcony and hopped in. She had waved to me and took a seat on my couch. I was freaking out a little.
"Are you crazy you could have fell and died, and why aren't you wearing your school uniform!" I said yelling at her.
"Jeez your starting to sound like my dad now, I was bored so I decided to pop by." She said responding to me. "Oh and by the way my dad already told me everything about you so don't be surprised at me being allowed up here."
"Well umm you see I have to get ready for bed and go to sleep and everything so you're going to have to leave." I said trying to convince her to go.
"I think ill just crash on your couch its pretty comfy." she said lazily.
"No you cant sleep here tonight!" I yelled at her.
There was no response from here so I went over and checked if she was still there. In a few seconds she had passed out on my couch. Why was she so attached to me I never gave her a reason to. I had finished getting ready for bed and then I hit the sack. I could not wait for tomorrow when Misery left, she gave off a strange chill it made me uneasy.
I woke up in the morning rubbing my eyes like always and letting out a huge yawn. I looked around my room everything was in place she had not taken anything at least. I heard a shuffling I looked to my left and Misery was in my bed asleep. I poked her trying to wake her up and that was not working, so I shook the living daylights out of her. She opened her eyes moaning that she was still tired.
"Ok it was one thing for you to sleep here last night but its another for you to sleep in my bed with me, its time for you to go." I said, I was a little irritated.
Without any words she got up and got dressed, she even took her clothes off while she was in my bed that was so weird. She then waved bye and jumped off my balcony. I ran over towards it has she was slowly making her way down grabbing onto ledges and small rails going down. Well I can at least see now how she got up here to begin with. I got into the shower and in the shower was a small note left from Misery I started to read it and it said, "you're uniqueness is what makes me want to be around you, you see I am unique as well I am different from the rest of the school as well I just look normal though, Stalk you later-Misery." I hope she was kidding with the stalking part but that would explain why she was around me a lot yesterday and was peaking in through my window. I took my shower and dried myself off and got dressed, just as I was finished my breakfast was brought up to me and I ate.
My classes today were L.A and Social Studies. My teacher rambled on about the great citizens of our time period and all the great things they did for our nation. There was one that stood out to me though. Not to much was known on this great heroic female all that were know about her was her name and she had a gift, they say she was a demigod. It was said she had control of the cold and was able to take the civilisation out of a 100 year ice age. She sounded interesting the one thing she said that will be remembered for eternity was "it does not matter who you are or what you look like the value of everyone's life is equal." These words I would remember it was a different way of thinking from my time where everything and everyone was separated by cultural differences and skin colour.
It was time for my lunch break today I was eating out on the balcony, I saw Trast running laps for his P.E class, he was interesting to watch because his purple highlights would keep shining in the light of the sun. It seems the new girl Misery was in his class to, although she was not running laps she was walking around the field and still in her hoodie. She really seemed like a slacker, the only reason she was probably here is because of her father. She had turned around and looked up at my direction. I had then decided I had enough of the balcony. So I went inside and waited for my teacher to get back. The rest of the today's class were quite boring.
Trast and Felli had come to my room to pick me up it was Friday today so we were allowed to go into the town after school. We were walking around the town and stopping at various stores to see what they had in stock and to see if anything new and cool was out. We ended up having dinner at some fancy restaurant that Trast was going to pay for. Once we sat down they handed us some menu's except for they gave me a child's menu. Well I guess when your my size you have to be expected to be treated like one. The fourth seat at our table was pulled out and someone and they sat in it.
"Hey what are you up to Kyoga." Said Misery as quiet as always.
"Did you seriously stalk me Misery, why are you attached to me." I said with complaint in my tone.
She replied. "Because we are both unique, and its fun to sneak around."
"Hey aren't you the new girl in my class the one that just sits there and does nothing?" Trast inquired.
"Sounds about right." Me and Misery said in unison.
The waitress came around and we placed our orders Misery said she would cover everything. It was a shock to all of us. We sat there and asked Misery questions about why she came to the school and why she always followed me, she just kept saying either because she had to or it sounded like fun. She was definitely a unique person that was for sure. Our food eventually came, I had to say it was the best food I've ever eaten. After we had finished we all sat and talked about music and about school life. Misery did not join in with us though, she seemed to have no interest in school. I had something I needed to ask Misery though.
"Umm so why were you sleeping in my bed this morning, it was kind of weird." I asked
"Well see your bed was much more comfy than the couch was, and well I dunno." She replied.
Trast and Felli were both really shocked about what we just said. Misery paid the bill and then left. Felli was warning me to be careful around her that she might be some child predator. I had told her she was over reacting and that she probably just needed a friend or something. We had left and begun walking back to the academy it had been a pretty fun night and all, but I was getting tired. Once I got back to my room I relaxed a bit playing my guitar. I had noticed the time I had better get to sleep soon or else I would wreak my sleeping schedule. I had gotten ready and was sitting at my table drinking a glass of water when Misery came in through the door. She was crying, I had no idea what to do. I went and I brought her into my lounging area and we sat down she had leaned onto me crying on my shoulder.
"I need someone to talk to Kyoga, I think your the only person who will hear me out, I did not mean to do it but it happened anyway and I have no idea what to do, please help me." She said through her tears.
"What's the problem and I'll see if I can help you." I replied to her rubbing her back.
