The night seemed to be nothing but fog as the three trudged through the woods. Angel's snow white fur was covered in mud and ick from the hike. Her icy eyes seemed to cut through who ever would try to help her. Dan's black fur matched his setting as he helped Angel over some rocks. Alexander seemed to fall behind his grey fur was soaked causing him to carry extra weight. Letting out soft whines he'd struggle to catch up with the two. Dan would make Angel lay down and rest while he ran back picking up Alexander by the scruff. Trotting up to Angel he'd sit Alexander down near her. His bones ached his muscles tense as he laid down with a thud. Steam seemed to rise from his body he had safely got the two out of harms way now he needed to rest. Watching the two out of the corner of his eye he'd relax. Angel was just a tad bit younger than Dan himself. Alexander on the other hand was younger than the two. The two wolfs that Dan was traveling with were of royal packs.

As the two rested Dan was jolted awake at the smell of smoke and of other wolfs. Nudging the two younger wolfs awake he'd pick Alexander up by the scruff. Angel running by his side as they ran from the flames and other wolfs. Jumping to the other side of the lake Dan would hide the two younger wolfs covering their scent. Jumping back across the lake he'd look at the three wolfs who ran at him. "Brother!" The dark grey wolf would run to him nuzzling into him whimpering lightly. "Come back with us stop working for the royal's." The other two wolfs would walk into the light. "Brother, do you remember us?" The two black wolfs would rub up against him letting out a small murr licking at his neck and muzzle. "Sisters get off of me like that." He'd let out a low growl licking the top of his brothers head. "Take care of the pack I'll be around soon."Nodding the three wolfs would dart back into the woods howling for the pack to follow them.

Dan would jump over the lake again letting out a low grunt before trotting to the place where he left the two. "Alexander, Angel, It's time to get moving again." Coming out of the hiding place they'd nuzzle up against him murring softly. Angel would lick at his muzzle murring softly. Letting out a low growl he'd nip at her before turning and licking the top of Alexander's head. The group would start moving again before Alexander began to whine. Dan would turn picking Alexander by the scruff and carrying him a few miles. Sitting him down they would meet a den causing Dan to ruffle up his fur. Hiding the two he would inch closer to the den stepping inside of it. He would scan the den for any scents he would be relieved to find no one had been to this den in years. Trotting out he'd let out a soft howl calling Angel and Alexander to him. The two would run to him and into the den curling up together. Dan would lay near the entrance as it began to get dark.

His ears twitched as he heard foot steps and howling. He'd look back inside the den the two younger ones still dead asleep. Turning to look outside of he den he'd come nose to nose with a male wolf. Dan's ears would drop instinctually causing him to lower looking up at the wolf. The male was a lovely white and grey eastern wolf. His eyes would look Dan over as he began to laugh. Dan would let out a low growl his black fur ruffling lightly. The male would growl as he stood up straight. "I'm an Alpha youngling you better straighten out. Where is your pack, what is an southern wolf doing here?" Dan would back into the den trying to hide the two younger wolfs. "I'm on a job if you must know, but if your an Alpha you must be new I knew the eastern Alpha very well." Growling the wolf would swat at Dan agitatedly. "He's dead, I'm Alpha now." Dan would take the hit without budging a low growl rumbling in his throat. "Bruce!" A female's voice would ring through the area causing Angel and Alexander to jolt awake and cower under Dan.

The female would trot to his side nipping his ear lightly. Her soft brownie like fur was streaked with grey and silver in spots. "Ally." Dan would say as her lifted his ears, still standing protectively over the two. Alexander would whimper nuzzling against Dan's muzzle licking at the blood on his cheek. He hadn't noticed the scratch until Alexander licked it making him whine softly. Ally would look towards Dan her eyes widening. "Dan, and in my Danny. What are you doing in these parts? Are you on another mission?" Nodding Dan would laugh lightly nudging Alexander licking the top of his head. "Yah, it's me Ally bear. How have you been?" Smiling she'd move into the den only to be blocked by Bruce as he turned and nipped at her growling. Lowering her ears she would back away laying low to the ground whining. Dan let out a soft growl watching the male intensely. "Dan, get out of here. Oh, and try to stay out of my woods."

Feeling slightly agitated he'd pick Alexander up Angel following closely behind him as they moved towards the South. "We're on the move to take you two to a safer place you understand?" He's say as he sat Alexander down licking his ear lightly. "We understand, when are we going to get there?" "Soon." He'd nudge them as they jumped over the small stream. Greated by wolfs with tattoos Dan would bow his head in respect as they led them to the pack. Smiling he'd nudge Alexander and Angel to the other wolves as he slunked off laying down with a soft groan. "Will leave in a few days but I need to rest." The wolves would nod and turned walking off to watch after the two.
