Cryogenic Jailbreak

I have given up on keeping track of time. Weeks could have passed, maybe months. All I'm aware of is that they threw me in this dusty solitary confinement cell to rot. My hands are handcuffed behind my back. They thought keeping me here would discourage the others from trying to escape, as for whatever reason my presence seems to provoke confidence and strength in other furries. It's like whenever an enslaved, imprisoned, or just plain depressed furry looks at me, they have a sudden increase in self-confidence. Don't ask me why, but it happens.Their mistake, however, was neglecting to keep my abilities suppressed. I can feel my body temperature dropping. My claws are reforming out of ice, as they melted when my abilities were suppressed. My eyes are returning to their icy blue color. My stripes begin to glow the same blue as my eyes, and the anger I've been holding in for far too long begins to vent.I look up from my crouched position on the floor. My eyes are glowing a solid, bright, icy blue. I stand up, and a whirlwind picks up in my cell. The temperature of the air drops, the winds pick up.The air got so cold, the handcuffs behind me cracked. I snapped them apart, and they broke at the wrists. The sound of metal breaking made me smile, and my increased emotions caused the temperature to drop further. The temperature reached past -459.67° Fahrenheit, or Absolute Zero degrees. The atoms in the air freeze, and the door breaks off its hinges. I kick the door down, causing whoever it was who was walking through the hall to get pancaked between the door and the wall. This initially makes me smile, as I had just injured a member of this group whom I think should throw themselves into a hole, but the wall provokes a growl out of me.See, when you get bored as quickly as I, you look up weird crap on the internet. I stumbled across some "interesting facts" about this very prison. The walls are apparently designed to absorb any amount of force and not even crack a fraction of a millimeter. On the outside, you might as well have built the place out of plywood. That's my plan, to escape and then bring this place to its freaking knees.Step one complete, escape that cursed cell. Now to start freeing my alternate dimensional selves. The hard part's locating them. Everything else will be a breeze.Hello? Heatstroke? Beacon? Anybody? I though towards the other nine furs that have a mental link with me.I'm here, but I'm in serious pain at the moment. Heatstroke's voice rang out. I could seriously use some help from you, Frostbite.I'm coming. Where are you? I asked. He's about five floors above you in an experimental chamber. Mecha replied.Thank you, Mecha. I don't know how we would manage anything without your satellite imagery. I said.I started running down the hall, looking for a stairwell to the next

floor up. I froze in my tracks when I heard a suffering voice."Hello? Is anybody there? I-I c-can't b-breathe." Pleaded the voice."Which cell are you in?" I asked."I'm looking right at you." It replied. I turned around to see an anthro wolf staring at me. He looked to be in horrible shape, and was having a coughing fit."Stand back." I warned. He obeyed. I grabbed the door by the barred window and fed my frost ability into it. The door froze over and the hinges turned brittle. I ripped the door off its hinges and threw it to the side. I then dragged the wolf out of the cell, and he looked like he was about to pass out."Thank you." He said, his voice still weak."You're welcome. What's your name?" I asked."Samuel Gretin. I have been dragged here from the past to avenge the unlawfulness of this. I ended up back in a cell, though." He explained."Wait a minute, Samuel Gretin? Samuel Gretin." The name sounded so familiar. I then remembered something I came across when I was looking at the history of Alcatraz. This guy couldn't possibly be him, could it? "You're the fur that single-handedly wiped out the undead in Alcatraz, aren't you?""Am I really that famous?" He asked."Actually, I stumbled upon Alcatraz's history when I was bored one day." I said. "So, where's that sword the website mentioned you had?""You mean Cleanser? I'm not sure, but I need it to be able to be helpful at all." He stated. "All of my power comes from that katana, and without it I can't do anything worth crap.""We'll find it, don't worry." I assured him. "Until then, however, you'll need a weapon. I would give you a frost knife, but it would give you frostbite.""Do you have anything I could use?" He asked."Not currently, but probably will soon." I replied. I motioned him to follow, and we continued down the hall."So, what's your name? I told you mine, so you might as well tell me yours." Samuel suggested."Frostbite. My last name isn't important." I said. "I have a different name for a different form of myself, but that's for when I actually come across my other forms. It's weird, really. The form I've taken determines what I respond to. I can't really think of why though.""Have you ever committed any real crimes?" He asked."What kind of question is that?" I countered, turning to look at him with a "what the freak" face."Just makin conversation." He said, averting his eyes from me, probably out of embarrassment."If you must know, I haven't committed any that I'm aware of. There was a sort of racial war about a thousand or so years ago, and I killed a few humans. Well, I killed hundreds before the zombies showed up. At that point my only purpose was to protect the ones I loved." I had started staring off into space, recalling a horrible memory. "I'll never forgive myself for what happened to

Kaylan. She was only ten, too. I still don't exactly feel comfortable talking about how I had failed myself and her.""Wow. I'm sorry. You said the war was a thousand years ago, how is it you're so young when that was so long ago?" He interrogated."Ever since I got the serum that gave me my fursona, I stopped aging. The reason is because I can control my age, and I choose to be fourteen or younger." I had stopped gazing off into thin air and focused my attention back to Samuel. "In actual age, I'm around two thousand and fourteen years old. My birthday is supposed to be in two months. How I'll celebrate it with the possibility for another human-anthro war starting, I'm not sure.""You don't seem to have a very happy life." Samuel commented."It has its perks." I replied, smiling. "I was someone's first friend, I saved millions of lives, I even got the chance to do what I love to do: protect my friends and family and kill the undead." I chuckled a bit at the last thing I said. We continued lurking through the halls."Did you hear that?" Samuel asked."I hear everything." I answered. "Which sound is it that you are referring to?""A roar. A very reptilian roar." He explained."I didn't hear that one, actually." I said with sudden interest."It's faint, but it's there. There it is again!" He exclaimed."That one I heard." I commented. "It also got ever so slightly louder with every microsecond.""What do you mean?""I mean that it's getting closer, and fast." I snapped just in time before a rather large reptilian creature came around the corner in front of us and tackled me...
