"My name is Kaizer Koyuo, but everyone calls me Kai, I'm happy to be here." I said in mock happiness as I was forced to introduce myself to my new classmates. You see, it was my first day at a new school, the third one in two years to be exact, and I was more than just a little apprehensive about being there. I was a social outcast everywhere I went, either for my strange silver and blue fur, or for my being Bi...
It was always the same every time I transferred to a new school, I would introduce myself to the class, be given a single glance, and thrown into the catagories: fag, freak, and/or emo. My parents didn't understand what I was going through, I had few friends to speak of, and the ones I had were online buddies on Furreface.. I had a sad and lonely existence to say the least.. I hoped beyond all hope something would change this time around, otherwise I'd totally break down. Unfortunately.. It already seemed that hope was fleeting; they were just staring at me.. as all the others had, and started whispering to each other.
My 1st period teacher, Mrs. Resaka, assigned me a seat next to the preps, and I reluctantly headed to it. Before I reached my seat, however, I was tripped by what seemed to be one of the school's football players.
"Get up freak, you ain't hurt." He said in amusement, pulling me to my feet by the scruff of my neck, and shovied me towards my destination
I got to my seat with no other incidents, thankfully, and sat down. My first period was uneventful and dull, most of the other students sleeping through the lesson. The bell rang, signaling the transfer to our next class, and I left as quickly as I could, wanting to avoid any unnecessary contact with the other students.
I got through the vast majority of my day with minimal confrontation, that is until the last bell rang. I was leaving my last class, Overview of Technology, another rather boring class, when a group of 6 other students blocked my way, and surrounded me.
"Where do ya think your goin faggot?" a rather large male Doberman, the orchestrator of the event asked sarcastically.
"To my bus.." I mumbled, "now just let me through, please.."
"Nuh-uh, you aren't goin anywhere kitty-cat. Not without our permission anyway," said yet another fur, a lioness this time, "See kid, we run this joint, and you don't go anywhere unless we ay so.. got it?"
"Please... just let me through.. I'm new here, and I don't want any trouble." I said quietly.
Willing to fight us to get out, eh bitch? If not you aren't getting outta here." Growled a muscular, black wolf.
"I.. I don't wanna fight.. I just want to go home... why can't you assholes leave me be.."
"That just earned you a beating kid.." Growled the Doberman again, before punching me in the gut, sending me to my knees, "Get 'im guys.. Teach the little bitch a lesson..."
And so a fight ensued. I managed to take three of them out using my flash-step and martial arts, but the other three ganged me and beat me to a pulp before they let me go.
"Let that be a lesson to you little kitty.." the lioness said, dragging me off to the infirmary to let the nurse patch me up and call my parents to come get me. She at least had some good in her for that.
My mom picked me up and took me home, pestering me to talk to her the entire way; I refused; she didn't understand.. she never had these problems, and I knew it.
I went to my room, and locked the door behind me. I went to my computer, and pulled up my web browser, going to my Furreface page, and seeing if any of my friends were online; they weren't... I settled on listening to my music, picking out a few songs by Simple Plan before lying back on my bed and curling into a fetal position, singing along with the blaring music and sniffling softly.
"..To be hurt.. to feel lost.. to be left out in the dark. To be kicked, when your down, to feel like you've been pushed around, To be on the edge of breaking down, and no one's there to save you.." I sniffled, it was exactly how I felt, how I always felt, I hated it! "Why.. why can't there be someone who understands me... Someone that'll accept me for who I am.."
After that, I simply broke down. I sobbed into my only companion, a large dragon plushie I had had since I was six, for at least an hour, then fell into a restless, yet comforting sleep.
_ I was in a large white room, I couldn't see much, as it was extremely bright, but I felt like there was something there with me. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, and a deep, soothing voice filled my ears._
_
"You don't have to hurt anymore Kai-chan...I'm here.. and I won't let anyone hurt you anymore.."_
_
I turned around, and was met with the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. There was a male Persian, not unlike myself, standing in front of me. Our markings were Identical, and the only difference in our fur color was that his had darker blue. He was well built, but not overly muscular. He was wearing a red T- shirt with a white collared one open over it, cargo jeans, fingerless gloves, and black leather boots. Hanging over his forehead and violet eyes was his cerulean blue hair, styled so similarly to mine, but longer, and less neat; over his fierce purple eyes were a simple pair of black reading glasses._

"How.. do you know me.. who are you?" I asked, puzzled at the situation I was in._
_
"I am the one who will take all your hurt and pain away... and I will be seeing you very soon.. Just hold on a bit longer Kai-chan; I will come for you." The mysterious cat replied, beginning to fade away_
_
"Please," I begged, on the verge of tears again, "Please don't leave me here alone.. Whoever you are.. don't leave me alone.."_
_
"My name is Ryu.. and I will see you very soon; Kai-chan, don't give up hope, I'm coming for you."_
_
With that, he faded away, leaving me alone in the empty white room._
