Time came, and went, and though Serena -did- take some of the toys home to the odd looks from Marlow--who was questioning why Heji was still there as well when Kyn had clearly come and gone a few times...She merely buried the gear in a bag, under her bed for use later, though she doubted that she really would ever use it, since Heji didn't seem to be too into it. She had a slight limp from her...encounter with Royce where he slashed across the pads of her front limb, and it was annoying to try to keep the dirt from it as well.

Kyn returned with extra stuff from his order, and then waited in the windswept woods in his fort. He hadn't talked to Serena at all.

Serena lifted her head slightly the exact same moment Kyn came back, looked around, and snorted, not sure what to make of the sensation she just had, she was starting to get worn out, learning to control this electricity within her, the training lessons were definitely getting longer...but it helped her to forget what she had done to Royce, and for that she was thankful.

Kyn went back to the Casino on the second day, and then headed into the Casino via the frontal way. He figured that he might as well try out a few games, considering that... despite everything, he planned on taking a break soon.

Kyn had gotten to the casino, and the construction was revealed to have been complete on the backrooms, and things would have been set in motion, he might note that there were fewer number of Clefairy working as waitresses, being put to work elsewhere, still, they were going back and forth delivering drinks, getting refills; and they weren't exactly being run ragged either, if anything they seemed to be enjoying the increased pace, and the tips they were making, of course. Riiko was still running the high paying games as well.

Serena, about that time, lost concentration again, and huffed at the shock she received for it, singeing her tongue for her trouble. "Ack...I don't know if I'll ever learn how to do this..." She flicked her tongue out to see the damage to her tongue, and when it was only minor, and Heji urged her to try again; she went back to the training. --Better to hurt yourself legitimately, than to cut into your own hide.

He'd entered the Casino as a Blaziken this time, like he did say that might eventually do, although having artificially made himself smell like the sea, having come up with a full back story for the appearance of this character. He tried his luck at the tables first, and THEN he actually went to the machine that he knew would attract a lot of attention. He decided to finally try out that particularly new toy of his, the thing that would in essence tamper with the gears and electricity.

Kyn continued in this cycle for a few more months in this world's time until he finally reached his goal; much quicker though due to taking on multiple jobs at once, and having the leisure of for the most part being able to take a bit of extra time spent due to only have to gather at least once every three cycles due to the storage. On the final set, he went to find Serena, and searched for her via their link.

Serena had long mastered the technique, she was even able to stand her ground against Heji in a full fledged battle (Which they both accounted to her being a dragon and not an electric type like him.). She had curled up with her head on Heji's haunch when Kyn came to find her, the pinging alerted her more than anything else, but still she had grown used to 'feeling' him and never seeing him, she almost didn't open an eye to the sound of his boots on the dirt outside.

After Kyn found Serena, he tried to stay relatively calm about the whole situation. He was going to be leaving for quite a while, due to reasons back home, and would be taking Heji back with him as well. /Serena, what is your current state of being?/

She did open one eye at him, and then nudged Heji softly. /Sated...in all meanings of the word. I suppose this time, you really ARE here to take him back? Go on then./ As calm as Kyn might have appeared on the surface, he'd used the link to find her, and that link portrayed more beneath the surface. Her own side showed SOME understanding, if not complete, since she didn't know all of what was going on. /I knew it couldn't last forever./

Kyn didn't respond to Serena's last statement, but instead merely stated, "After all this time... it still started with such a simple thing as a rock."

With that, Heji said his goodbyes to Serena, and then walked off to go with Kyn. They went back through the other side, and afterward, Kyn figured that Serena's statement would always hold true in one way or another.

Two years had passed since that fateful day that Kyn had left Serena's world behind. He'd grown more mature, as well as been working closely in building a network of Pokémon Breeders, as well as starting a club for Pokémon Sommeliers, that Cilan and a bunch of other A-Class Sommeliers were a part of, in preparation for his future career. Everything was set up on the path in which he would begin to travel back and forth between their worlds more frequently than ever. Eventually Kyn went back to that area in Sinnoh in which he first met Serena, and then for the first time in two years, Miru opened a portal to Serena's world.

"Heji... if anything... the first thing I want her to see of my world, is you. You do not have to rush, take your time... I will be waiting for however long it takes." So Heji went back through the portal, and then Kyn waited, and waited. Until finally he saw the signs that the barrier was passed.

Upon the barrier being passed, one of the Pokémon pointed it out to him. "Ah, then I guess that'll be someone returning. It's been a while. I've been coming back to this spot every single day now. I wonder who it is." Kyn, who at this point had let his facial hair grow out and dyed it. He walked over to the barrier, not knowing whom to expect. What he saw slightly shocked him, a Salamence emerged from the portal.
