Mature for blood, and... some emotional scenes.

Serena could, and would eventually be found where we left her, in the gear room (of course Kyn left her in the room with Royce and not where she last ended up.) she had pretty much burrowed underneath the silk in the corner, and was hiding in the dark of not only her shell, but that cloth as well.

"I was last with her in one of the gear rooms, though if what you're saying is anything to go by... Serena might be more affected by it than I thought." He was hoping that Serena WOULD be alright. He didn't know what Serena would be like.

"One of the gear rooms? Red, blue or purple?" Almost strategically she headed down the hall that she knew would have all three on them, eventually.

"It's always been red." Kyn answered, now remembering the different colored halls.

"That's Royce's gear room...makes sense..." Her tail was curled about itself in a twist, rather than its normal spiral, reflecting just how nervous she was. She hoped for Serena's sake, that she had gotten better...but well, she doubted it.

Anana led them down the hall, until she came across the open door, and looked inside. There was the Luxray...she didn't know his name. "Uhm...Serena?" she slipped inside carefully, mindful of the fact that he was probably going to be protective of her, if Serena had taken him as a mate.

Serena heard the voice, and held her breath. Lizards couldn't 'smell' blood, but they could taste it...of course Heji had dealt with her cutting before...even gotten it to stop for a period of time, but that was why she was letting the cloth dampen the smell, and it wasn't like it was anything major...she had just reopened the cuts on her nose from the Charmander...and cut into her shoulders so that essentially, she and Kyn matched.

<"Serena... I'm requesting to see you..."> He said both ways. Kyn however... had noticed the familiar scent, from when he had gotten close to Serena after the Charmander incident. It was a bit difficult to identify since there so many other factors as well even taking into account his human sense of smell.

"Go away." The tone was dejected, almost hostile as well, she pushed herself back towards the corner. The air she was breathing was hot and muggy, filled with the scent of her own blood, the shifting just let some of that escape.

"I not going to do that, Serena... Well, you were right Anana..." Kyn sad with a sigh. He didn't approach Serena at all, considering her response to him being there.

Anana put her fingers to her chin. "Serena Shelgon, you get your tail out from under that pile of cloth right now! It's silk for Arceus' sake, you'll get it all bloody and inconvenience EVERYONE." She stamped her foot on the ground. This was quite out of character for her, and she was over-exaggerating, but it was the one way to get Serena to move when she was in this mood.

It did indeed work, she shrugged the cloth off of her completely. "Oh sure, the fact that it's in strips wasn't enough of an inconvenience to everyone, I just had to make it worse by getting blood on it too." Disgust was in her voice, even as she took another bloodied claw and drew it across her left forelimb.

"I've never really seen you do that type of thing before Serena... I wish I'd've known." Come to think of it... there was time... if he remembered right... back when she was a Bagon... and the scent was the same...

The Kecleon pursed her lips, she switched tactics. "Serena, darling, stop that...spilling your own blood wont change the past, we TALKED about this, remember? It's just a part of your personality dear."

"Great, being able to harm others is part of my personality, I don't want to hurt ANYONE." She recoiled. "Better just to leave me here, I should have been left here to begin with...never would have troubled anyone that way." Thoughts were fragmented, self destructive...if Lacu was connected to her he would probably be staying FAR away from her mind.

Kyn remained silent from this point. He hadn't dealt with her this way before like Anana had. Sure there were cases like this back at home but, this world provided a unique spin on them that he wasn't sure anything he encountered would be able to be applied here.

"You're hurting yourself, you're someone, you have everyone here that know you, you can't just slip away...and he forced your hand, you were just taking out your rage at the fact that he hurt your friend, broke his trust, you remember trust, don't you Serena? You trust Kyn and I to take care of you, don't you? To know what's best for you, when you don't know yourself?" She tried, stepping closer towards the silken strips. "Come on, stop this now...we're your friends, you wouldn't hurt us, so why can't you be your own friend again?"

Serena snorted, she wasn't listening, not completely, but her claws stopped before making another line...she remembered they wouldn't let her just black out like she wanted to...and the fact that Heji was there...her thoughts were her own worst enemy. Be her own friend...no, she didn't care about herself, she could give herself up to protect the others, always thought about herself last. "I've NEVER been my own friend." She snarled out. "Can't trust myself, don't expect ANYONE to trust me, don't WANT them to...just keeps happening...then I can't protect them..."

'What is she talking about? She doesn't... want to have someone to protect?' He didn't know why but... he actually felt sad at the idea.

"You've protected your friends fine, you've done a GOOD job, you're a GOOD dragon, no one's dead, nothing's wrong." She tried to be soothing as she grabbed a piece of the silk, and stepped closer. "Just let me take care of you."

Predictably, Serena lashed out at Anana with her mouth, and ended up with her muzzle bound for her trouble, but she didn't try to tear at her with her claws. "Honestly Serena...stop that, don't make me tie you down to take care of you, it won't take but a minute to bind your wounds anyway..." She patted the top of her shell as Serena's head withdrew back into it, glaring at her, there was barely any pupil to the Shelgon's eyes. "Come now...calm down..."

"Serena... please... just, come back..." Kyn's voice was wavering for the first time in a long while. Everything they went through together... he just wanted Serena back to what apparently wasn't completely 'normal' but, better than this.

"Down..." Anana gave a command, and Serena sat, closing her eyes, and then she put her front claws on the top of her shell, hiding her face and her eyes, still, it was obvious that she was crying as the mood broke, and the golden Kecleon had turned an almost blue green, the same color as Serena's dragon energy, clear that she had been ready to protect herself from it had she used it on her; still, she bound the rest of Serena's wounds with the silk. "Easy Serena...it's okay...just don't move too much, okay? Let me see your nose..."

Her crying didn't cease, but she did work on making them less obvious as the Kecleon bade her to give her her nose...she just barely poked the tip out. <I.....mmph...sorry....>

"Anana... I... want to give Serena something..." Kyn trailed off, trying to keep his voice. It was odd how... despite how he was near Anana, being near Serena like this, changed him again. <Serena... I know you hate it but... please.... take some of the healing liquid... just enough to heal the bleeding...>

Anana had been daubing at Serena's nose with a piece of silk, but stepped away to let Kyn near Serena's head. "Hm...okay~"

She might have fought it had it been any other time...as it was she just rolled over onto her back, claws on the ground in submission...and pulled the silk from around her mouth. <I never...said that I hated it...but you've never offered it before, so I didn't ask.> She tucked her fangs back, and opened, eyes closed. She was slightly uncomfortable with this.

Kyn pulled the vial out and then uncorked the lid. It was half full now, and he held the vial over her open mouth, and very slowly began dripping. One. Two. Three. Four small drops, just to see how much it would take. <So... can I heal you all the way then...?>

<If you wish to...but there's some things that that wont be able to heal.> She sighed through her nose, letting the drops slide down her gullet. One drop, the bleeding stopped, two, the wounds started to close, at three, they were only scratches on her body, and four they were gone completely. She rolled back over to find the tip of Anana's tail slipping out the door. She didn't mention it to Kyn, of course, instead just let her go...she was always like that. Help out and then disappear...she tugged on the silk carefully, pulling it off.

"Serena... you made me cry on the inside, and... I almost cried on the outside..." Kyn stated, slightly turning away from her.

Serena didn't stay on the ground, not for this...she was up on her hind feet, her nose on his shoulder, her arms wrapped around his middle, She tossed him a fragment of a memory, the golden lizard Anana. 'Tears show you care, while there's a time to hide them, showing that you care about something or someone with tears is okay.'. She didn't actually say anything, the soft apologetic whimper and and nuzzle should have been enough, at least in her book.

"Oh Serena... why do our meetings usually end this way...?" Kyn wanted to go back to his world for a bit, but also didn't want to leave Serena alone again yet.

She sighed, dropping down to all fours for a bit, releasing him from the hug. "Ending a visit on a note that shows one another that you care...I wouldn't say it's a horrid way to end something." She simplified. "With each visit, we learn a bit more about one another, no?"

"You could... say that, yes." Kyn said, being careful about the tone of his voice.

"Sorry to have worried you...Heji dealt with worse before, and honestly, I was hoping that you would have left before that portion of my psyche came out again...Did you enjoy your visit with Anana?"

"You never told me about that, Serena. I think I've partially experienced it before when you were in your Bagon stage. ...is there anything else you've been keeping from me, that I would have to find out from Anana?" He said seriously.

"Should I warn you every time I need to take a piss too? Kyn, understand, that's not something that even I'm Okay with about myself, I'm working on getting RID of it...Yeah, you caught the tail end of one of them when I was a Bagon, when I thought I had lost your trust, I cut into my own hide to escape from my disgust with myself." She retorted, and then rolled her eyes at him. "I could ask you the same question, except with Tensa, or Heji, in Anana's place, and see how you liked to be put on the spot with those types of questions too. Anything Anana could tell you about me now, is something that I don't know myself, and I like to think that I'm in touch with my body enough to know everything about it."

"Serena. Supposing I wanted a house built about the size of ten of the gear rooms, about how much do you think I'd need if I didn't build it myself?" He quickly switched topics, wanting to avoid bringing up earlier issues.

She took a moment to look around. "You've already got it, but it would take almost every Poké of it."

"So then. As a rule, in my world, that I'm now taking here; three times what I already have to live, in case something happens in which, say, somehow by some miracle, some of it gets stolen. If these are life savings for some... then what I'm doing... pursuing more, may seem like too much." Kyn said, calculating totals in his head.

She tilted her head back down to look at him. "Keep in mind though, that life savings vary. Oh, there's one thing, I do have a hoard, it's just not all Poké, and it requires Marlow to get to, of course, as most everything does, but I don't know if you were aware of that or not...It's not like it wont be spent one way or another, either on meals or food...that's why there's no excess with Poké. In fact you probably could barter your liquid for a...ah...'pretty penny'? to the doctors in Tao, here even."

"Serena, that... will disturb that natural order more so than my being here. I don't think I can really do that. Besides, it's something rather special and I'd rather it just be used for MY Pokémon." He said, sighing.

She threw the brakes on what might have been a purr even before it got started, still, it might have been a tidal wave of questioning if he realized that he had just indeed technically claimed her that was sent off through the link. "Did...you mean to do that...?" She phrased carefully.

"...and extremely close Pokémon friends who are on the same level." He didn't exactly answer her question, but since she said that, he thought about the way he had just said that sentence and came up with that.

"I suppose that'll do." She chuckled and nuzzled his legs and hip. "I also suppose that I've kept you too long here, how long will have gone by on your side?"

"I lost track. It doesn't really matter much though. I'm don't exactly have to keep any appointments on the other side." He said. "I guess I'll see you in a few days then."

"Yeah, I'm not going to be here after the 7 day mark that I told you about...looks like I get to find a way to disable Royce's Regeneration ability too...maybe then he'll be tolerable and not come back from the point of being broken like he did THIS time, and the times before."

"He also implied that that was partially my fault too... that that stuff was undone..." Kyn said, bringing his exchange with Royce back up.

She paused...looking up at him...she couldn't tell him that Royce was right on that part..."Royce twists words to place the blame on others, the same way he tried to make you not trust me; he tried to make you feel bad about how you treated him, and make you hate everyone from this world."

"No, Serena, he only tried to convince me that you were to blame. *I* came up with the ideas, he just agreed with them. As for feeling feel bad about I treated him, I could never feel any different than normal. It's just fortunate for him, that in most cases, my normal when dealing with Pokémon happened to be enough to break him free of it."

"You mean unfortunate Kyn, as I said, he gets to be broken again, and again, and again...until he learns to stay down." She let the other things slide. "Personally, here's what I do...Anything Royce says in agreement, immediately take his agreements as a 'no'...like him saying that his tail was delicious...I doubt someone had EVER eaten his tail before tonight."

"Speaking of which, he is still probably having a hard time believing I did that, and will do it again. Anana told me about something called a.... tail sock."

"Yeah, those are kinda common, they look rather silly if your tail is prehensile...and most of the 'mon around here have prehensile tails." she stepped away from him a bit. "He'll probably have to have a custom frill done too..." There was a dark hint to her voice.

"Serena, you didn't cut off his frill, did you?" Kyn asked, concerned since he HAD threatened Royce with that, but didn't really plan on carrying it out.

"Haven't, no." She licked her claws free of her own blood. "Haven't been back in that room since you left...ah with that talent of his, he'll probably be back on his feet and out for blood, I don't know if he has what it takes to put his shoulders back in on his own, though."

"Serena... what you just said. About Royce being out for blood. Who's exactly are you implying that he will be able to take besides innocents'?"

Her nose twitched at him, and she was quiet for a long while. "......Mine. He's going to actually get a fighting chance...something that he never gave anyone who's been in his service before...simply because apparently I need a reason to be able to torture him without cutting into my own hide. If he can best me -now-...well, then I suppose losing another few days, opposed to five years, would not be that bad...'course unlike him, none of my abilities can be taken away because someone ties my hands behind my back, I can even blast through a stupid gag these days."

"Serena did you just... say five years...? Where did that number come from?" This of course, was what he focused on mainly, and partially zoned out afterward.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, guess I did. Huh, I don't know, just something that felt right? Since you mentioned the fact that I wasn't alive when you were thrown into Miru's realm, calling myself two years old hasn't sat well in my mind." She answered softly.

"Serena... you're nowhere close to being old enough. In fact, to put it into perspective... when I was born, I don't even think MERLOT was alive." Kyn said, moving the topic away from that particular number.

"I'm not even sure THAT'S accurate anymore Kyn...I don't know if Pokémon in your world can hear through their eggs, but here, I could...Ever since the rebirth of the creeping forest, I recognized the voice that was carrying me at that point...It was Jasmine. I've been brushing it off...but I think I'm going to have to have a talk with that space and time glider."

"That would be odd, Serena. 220 years. What... exactly have you been brushing off?" He had only recently met Jasmine, and it was an odd meeting at that.

"I'll...tell you if I ever get it confirmed, or if it's denied. Better not to set a rumor in motion and find out later that it's wrong." She answered softly.

"Serena, ya just threw that out there and now this fish is biting and pulling the line. Do you catch my drift?"

Serena scratched the back of her head a bit. "I've never...gone fishing like that...but if you really want to know...I don't think that I originated here in this world. I don't know what circumstances would lead her to do something like that...but I...well, I've never met another Bagon who had cravings like I did, or quite as bright of a scale hue."

"There are many worlds Serena. Why... does it matter if you came from a different Pokémon world? Maybe I'm not getting the point, and you should give me some sense of direction." He said, pointing to his head

"Time here has a distortion, but what If I came from a world with the same time setup AS yours? That would put me right on scale with your bit of events. Jasmine isn't good at getting time and space setup right either, so my landing here at this point in time might have been...well...skewed from the timeline there." She shrugged. "It doesn't really matter, I suppose, just a feeling that keeps slipping in...and then out again...and yes, you can make a sex joke, if you'd like, because I realize that it can be taken that way."

"Well. Then I'd have to say, that Arceus had a plan for us, but I totally don't believe that. I think it's a good thing that we met, since we can get along most of the time, but not that we were specifically meant to be together. As for that distortion thing... perhaps you should find out from Jasmine. I do believe though... that my altered view of time rather allows me to see things differently."

"I plan on it." She answered, then nudged him a little. "Well Kyn, you've been saying for a while now that being able to interact with Pokémon makes you give up a few things, what you're forgetting is that it also GIVES you things too. Now, either get out of here or lay down for a good tonguing, 'cause you're not getting by with 'just watching' anymore."

"I... believe I'll pass this time. But I might take you up on that offer sooner than later. Also, MOST human don't mate with Pokémon, I thought that'd be obvious.... Would you like Heji to keep you company while you're being away from Royce after this?"

"It is obvious." She flicked out her tongue teasingly "But you're not most humans either, and I do more than tolerate you, don't I?" She grinned a little. "Ah...probably would be a good idea to make sure that I don't actually end up here for more than two days..."

"Oh, and just for the record. Royce is... going to be fully conscious the next time bits of his tail are taken. Anana told me there was a certain point in which once it was cut off it would no grow back, so I'll have to be careful. See you later, Serena."

Serena nodded at him, and then let him leave. Of course what he had told her wasn't completely unknown to her, but she was thankful that he had left Heji with her this time. <See you soon.> Once more, she was unable to trust her voice with saying goodbye.

Kyn went back only for a bit, to check and see how long he'd been gone, since he didn't remember if he'd told Miru or WHAT he told Miru to do with the distortion.
