Chapter 1

October 12, 2014: The credit is late, but I hope anyone still reading this will appreciate his work. My friend, Phenrir

Hunter awoke in a place he did not recognize. He was standing in an open grass field with flowers of neon colors glaring all around. Surrounding the round field were beautiful trees of a kind that was unknown to him, however, seemed so familiar all at once. The field was empty except for a figure straight ahead of him. He couldn't quite make out who or what it was, but he could see its outline in the distance between them. It seemed to take on the features of a human other than legs and ears like that of a cat, and gloves covering most of its arms, ending at the wrist and upper arm.

It stepped closer so that Hunter could examine it. He could make out the figure clearly now. The figure appears female and was coated in fur. She had vibrant white and golden fur, with a tuft of thick fur around her neck, extending out to cover her chest completely, although bulging from her hidden breasts. The gloves around her arms were solid purple with white and black Ying-Yang symbols on the outer part of the wrist, with similar all-purple symbols on her thighs. There were solid purple symbols under her eyes resembling the makeup he saw on human women. She stood on two cat-like legs, matching her cat-like head. Her ears were long and pointed upward, with 3 similar extensions of fur on her shoulders. Her paws had 3 fingers with black claws on their ends, much like the ones on her feet. He found the intriguing sound of her voice in the air around him for the first time as she spoke through her muzzle.

"I've been searching for you for a long time."

"What? Why me?" he asked as he tried to comprehend the situation. She smiles slightly when she next spoke, revealing small canines.

"That answer will come when we meet next time."

"When we meet next time? What do you mean? Who are you? What is this place?" Hunter let his curiosity take control of his thoughts, unable to keep his mouth from moving.

"All I can answer now is who I am, or rather, what I am. My name is Eve. I originate from a race called Renamon. Now, there's not a whole lot of time left. Will you follow my instructions?"

Hunter was both puzzled and intrigued, yet he found her beautiful and interesting, surprising himself at the thought of being attracted to a different race. He thought about this for a second, hesitating. How could he trust this unfamiliar creature? He did not know why, but somehow he felt that he wanted to trust her. She could be his ticket out of the immense debt on his families' shoulders, or possibly something better. Whatever directions she had, he would follow. He truly had nothing else to lose.

"Yes, I will."

"Really?...Great!" she paused for a moment, not expecting his immediate cooperation. After collecting her thoughts, she continued.

"O.K, now, in the future on your 18th birthday, I will give you details on how to reach me inside World..." Before she could finish Hunter interrupted.

"My 18th birthday...that's almost a year..."

"Did you want to see me sooner?"

"Well...yes actually." He seemed surprised at himself saying he would miss a creature from a different race other than his own.

Her fur covered her blushing well, but she tried to keep focus on the instructions.

"Next, you need to..." she was cut off by the world around them fading along with herself. He yelled, "Wait!" and reached out to touch her shoulder, but found nothing.

"I'm sorry!"

Hunter woke up in his bed. It was morning as he could see from the light reflecting off the blinds. Getting out of bed he thought about the dream. He remembered it vividly, everything was so clear and real. He decided that it wasn't just a dream, and he would wait for her sign on his 18th birthday with as much patience as possible.

After some time of thought he couldn't help but think about Eve, the "Renamon" from another world entirely. He couldn't help his curiosity, and decided to look for her inside the game in spite of her directions. He stepped over to the World chamber and went inside. He clipped up as fast as he could in anticipation, fumbling the wires.

As he leaned back he closed his eyes and waited to enter World. There was nothing he wanted more than to find Eve, in the moment, waiting to enter the game felt like an eternity.

The life entered his character again. As he looked around he wondered to himself, where to start first in this vast planet.
