I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think of the story. ^^

Terry kept his mind blank as he rushed down the halls of the college, his mouth was tight as he walked past other furs. He heard whispers as he brushed past other students, "Hey is that the guy?" "Yeah, he's the one who was tearing himself up the other day..."

The coyote tensed up as the auditorium appeared, seeking to get away from the ridicule his pace sped up and he rushed into the large hall. Students were scattered around the large hall laughing with one another, talking about their summers and jobs. The coyote stood stiff in the doorway not knowing where to go, "Hey, are you just going to stand there? I think you're giving the supports a bad name, you're standing stiller than they are." Terry slowly turned to find himself face to face with a leopard; a smile flitted on the leopards face.

Terry slowly glanced down the leopard, the cat's hair was a tangle mess of a bright yellow. His clothes were equally scruffy as it appeared as if he had been sleeping in them not even a minute ago, "Oh... sorry..." The coyote murmured before moving out of the way to let the leopard past, but instead of walking past the leopard stepped closer.

"Hey, are you alright? You seem kinda quiet for a college student, shouldn't you be excited?" The leopard's chipper voice put Terry off, he had tried his hardest to avoid talking to him but the leopard seemed to have a certain magnetic personality around him. Shoving his paw right in Terry's face the leopard shined a grin, "I'm Nathan, I just moved here from North Dakota. They didn't have many colleges that I was interested in over there, so I decided to move here to LA."

This pulled a snort of laughter from Terry, "You came here, the ghetto of America?"

Nathan pulled his hand to his face and scratched at his chin in thought, "I dunno, I don't think this place is the ghetto. I think it's just misunderstood..."

No longer able to contain his laughter, Terry broke out letting out a large ruckus. The leopard was so odd that it blew his mind at what Nathan was saying, "Are you alright man, I think you took a few too bullets to the head from the local mobsters." Terry said as he wiped away a tear from his eye.

Showing off his pearly whites, Nathan leaned in while tilting his head. "Ha! I got you to laugh, now we have to be friends!"

This threw Terry off guard, "Wait, what? Because you made me laugh, this obligates me to be your friend? Since when was this rule invented?!"

Nathan threw his arm around the Coyote's shoulders, "Since right now, so where shall we sit buddy?" Although the leopard was extremely odd, it was a nice change of pace for Terry. Pointing to a row of empty chairs Terry led the leopard over to sit down.

The auditorium was nearly full as Ralph walked in, the wolf glanced over the crowd with a frown on his face. Now that he was out of high school, the wolf felt like he was getting submerged in an entirely new ecosystem. Ralph had always had a very good personality, everyone in his high school had wanted to be his friend. But the thing was that even though that happened, the wolf was extremely humble. He would put himself out there to help anybody out, he assumed that was the reason why he wanted to help out Terry.

"Terry..." Ralph muttered to himself as an image of the coyote came to mind, something about Terry was attracting him. He had figured out when he was eight that he was gay, his parents were alright with the fact as they were always teaching him to be accepting. Sadly his teacher hadn't been as open minded, when he had been caught in a closet with another boy kissing there had been a lot of drama. In the end it had ended with him being expelled from the school, his parents hadn't blamed him though. They never did.

"Hey, what the fuck are you doing just standing there? Get your fat ass out of the doorway." Ralph froze as he heard a familiar voice from behind him, he turned around to find that he was towering over the bunny girl from earlier in the day. Her expression turned from one of boredom to one of shock, "You?! You're the fucking prick who called me a bitch!" She turned around to face a brute of a horse standing behind her, "Hey Chuckykins, this is the asshole who called me a bitch!"

The horse looked at the bunny, "Is this now Marykins?" The horse's face turned angry as he looked at Ralph, "So you're the dickwad that called my precious Marykins a bitch, huh? Well I think it's about time to teach you a lesson!" But before the horse could even move, Ralph turned and sprinted away leaving the horse confused. "D... did he just run?"

Mary was flustered as the wolf got away, "God damn it Chuck! You let the dicktard get away, you know you won't be getting a blowjob tonight for this. Right?"

Letting out a whiny moan Chuck's shoulders dropped, "Bu... but Maaaarryy... you promised you'd suck me off today..."

Ralph sprinted away from the door as fast as he could, getting scolded by professors as he ran into the back of the auditorium. His eyes flicked across the rows of furs to look for at least one familiar face, as he neared the back of the hall he finally saw Terry. "Terry!" He called out, the coyote's head snapped to look at him.

"Oh, Ralph." He spoke simply, the leopard he had been talking to him a moment later looked up at him with a broad smile.

"Oh, who is this Terry? A friend of yours?" The leopard's voice carried a large amount of happiness in it.

The wolf panted for a moment, "I'm Terry's roommate." Ralph then gestured to an empty seat next to the pair, "Mind if I take a seat?"

The leopard waved to the seat, "Feel free, we were just talking about how excited we are about college." When Terry shot him an irritated glance he sighed, "Alright, I was talking about why I was excited about college..."

Ralph chuckled, "Yeah, I couldn't see Terry being the most excited guy about talking about himself." Terry was glaring daggers into him, "Anyways... I'm Ralph, and you are?"

The leopard grinned, "You're so much more active than Terry, aren't you? Anyways, my name is Nathan!" The leopard cleared his throat momentarily, "Now as I was saying, I was talking to my parents and..." As the leopard spoke with no sign of stopping, Ralph found himself looking at Terry who was glancing off into the distance.

The Wolf's eyes glanced over the Coyote's body, even though he had arrived in dirty clothes. It was obvious that Terry wasn't underfed, nor was he fat. Terry's bangs hang down in front of his face concealing his eyes slightly as Ralph tried to look into them.

It seemed like Nathan was going to talk for forever and a half but then a finely dressed aardvark stepped out onto the stage with a confidence in his stride. He walked up to a podium in the middle of the stage, as he cleared his throat the hall of students quieted. "Welcome to this university, all of you. I am the headmaster of this college, my name is Dreverit Lark. I am here to tell you about this proud institution and what it can do for all of you, now to start off I have a funny little limerick for you all."

In the corner Terry sighed as he grew tired as he listened to the headmaster's dry joke, his eyelids slowly sank down until his chest started to breathe in deeply as he slipped into sleep.

Terry yawned as he nearly fell asleep in math class, his algebra teacher tried his best to keep the subject entertaining. But sadly he didn't have the capacity to do so. The room was filled with the droning voice of the boar as he explained a math problem, the coyote was about to drift off until he felt something poke his side. He glanced over to see a paper airplane lying on the ground, Terry's gaze slowly went up to see Jack smiling at him. The fox had been his friend for many years; they had met in first grade while they were attending elementary. Terry mouthed at him, "What is it?"

Jack mouthed back, "Meet me after class, I have something to tell you."

Not wanting to argue, Terry nodded and looked back forward at the boar who had finished up his explanation of the math problems.

After class the coyote waited outside of the classroom as he got out first, seeing as it was lunch period he wasn't too bothered about waiting. Terry's attention peaked as he saw Jack swagger out of the classroom, the fox smiled at him as he drew near. "Heya big boy."

Terry had known his friend was gay for a few years, so the playful way the fox spoke was no surprise to him. "What's up Jack?"

The fox kicked his foot awkwardly, "Well... I was wondering... would you like to kiss me?"

Terry was thrown for a complete loop, "W... what? Why would you ask that?"

Jack smiled awkwardly, "Well... I know you've tried to be in relationship with girls before, but whenever you were in those relationships. I saw that you were never happy; they never really did anything for you. So I was thinking... maybe you might try to be with a guy for once?"

Speechless the coyote said nothing for a few moments before sputtering, "I... I never even... I've never thought about that before..." Jack was silent as he waited for Terry's response, after a moment of thinking the Coyote looked timidly at his friend. "M... maybe just this once... just to see how it is..."

The fox jumped up in the air in joy before hugging Terry, "Thank you! I promise you, I won't do anything naughty!"

Terry chuckled as the fox ran towards the lunch line waving to him, "Maybe... maybe this'll work out..."

Terry woke up as the orientation was ending; it appeared that after a while Nathan had finally stopped talking as he was fiddling with a cellphone in his hand playing angry humans. The whole of the school stood up and started to walk out, the trio followed the crowd slowly not saying anything. Terry was deep in thought as he thought of his dream, "Jack..." He muttered to himself sadly.

Nathan followed Terry and Ralph to their room before preparing to head off to his own, grinning at the pair he winked. "I need to know where you live, you guys are my new friends."

Ralph chuckled, "You are one odd cat Nathan... see you later."

After the leopard had left the pair went into their room and collapsed onto their beds, they were silent until Terry spoke. "So... Nathan... weird, isn't he?"

They said nothing for a few moments before Ralph started to laugh, out of nowhere the wolf started laughing. At first Terry was confused before he started to laugh as well, the stress of the day disappeared as the pair laughed. The laughter continued on for five minutes before slowly petering off, "Well... I think we'd better turn in for the night... g'night Terry." Ralph said as he tucked himself in.

Terry smiled at the wolf and nodded, "Yeah... g'night Ralph." The pair turned off the lights and slipped into a deep sleep.
