As James must learn, all good things...

This story was written as a commission for JamesFoxes of Fur Affinity. The story is a tour of as many macro themes as could fit into the same story: growth, muscle-growth, hyper-sex, paws, and even a little inflation and mild vore. The only request was that there be no shrinking. Everything else I could think of with a "macro" angle is present. This is not erotica but--rather--pure porn. Make no mistake: this is fetish material for those who love size. The world-setting (containing Omicron House), and the characters of James White (the human), Taylor Grey (the rabbit), Mack Post (the horse), Tyler Solomon (the fox), Mick Tully (the kangaroo), and Jaydon Golde (the other fox) are owned by myself.

The ride up north was slow and ponderous. Suburbs gave way to farmland which gave way to forests and rivers. A few rural casinos passed by and, soon, they were in cabin-country. All around were the summer homes and sparsely-spaced retreats of city folk looking for a lake or river where they could get away from it all. The guys were making it as fun as they could despite the cloud that hung over him. James tried his best to appreciate their efforts. With the exception of Tyler, who was driving the large van, everyone was sharing beer and passing around road trip snacks. Mick passed around a joint. Despite the height of the tallest amongst them, the six had plenty of room. Still, James didn't feel like celebrating.

It was over.

"We'll be coming back up here in about six weeks," Mick said. "We celebrate mid-semester finals by having everyone come to the cabin to shut it down for the winter." He leaned back and drained his plus-size beer can in one, drawn-out gulp. He winked at James as he said it.

Jayden sipped his local micro-brew and looked contemplative. "How about we don't shut it down this year? What if we plan a winter fiesta or something?"

"Once there's snow on the ground?" Mack asked. He mimed a shiver. "No thank you!"

"Oh, please: you've got the thickest hide of any of us," Tyler said from the driver's seat. "Besides, we can still take the dock and boats off the lake, ahead of the ice."

Taylor shrugged. "Well, we'd obviously bring the fragile stuff in before the lake freezes, sure. Even in the depths of winter, I think we could find ways to keep warm." He winked at James who forced a smile in return. "It's a good idea, Jayden."

The five of them discussed it the rest of the way. By the time they turned down the old, dirt road and drove at the fifteen mile-per-hour speed limit to the lake property, they'd agreed to put it to a vote next weekend once the full frat membership was back. James felt even lower. Hearing about such a great party, a party he'd never see and could never experience because he'd be a world away, was depressing.

Tall and sporting what looked like quaint, German architecture, the wooden cabin was huge as befitted the men who owned it. Sitting on Lake Gigassi, the whole building sat back on the lot, shrouded by trees for at least fifty yards in all directions. A clearing ran down to the lake shore. Sparse grass poked up between gravel and smooth river rocks making the clearing into something like a rough lawn. At its edge, the reed-filled waterside looked like it had seen plenty of swimmers over the years. Two long docks jutted out into the lake with a boat house at their base. Here and there, James could see a few other cabins on the lake but they were small, few, and far between. The whole area was secluded and relaxing despite James' best efforts to indulge his misery.

After putting away their overnight bags, the guys took the pontoon boat out on the lake. While Mack insisted on fishing, the rest seemed mostly interested in either swimming or teasing James with their half-naked bodies. Tyler was the odd-man out, preferring to read the novel "Storm Heat" under the boat's canopy rather than enjoying the sun and water. And while Jayden and Taylor went skinny-dipping, Mick provided the most distractions by strutting around the deck in a pair of speedos about two-sizes too small.

James didn't bother acting happy or pleased. At the same time, he didn't want his mood to bring everyone down, either. He did his best to smile and play along with the flirting but his heart wasn't in it.

By the time they started up the motor and headed towards shore, Mack had actually caught about a dozen sunfish and a small bass leading the others to debate just how to prepare them.

"There's only one way to cook lake fish," Mack huffed, indignant at the debate. "You bread 'em and fry the little buggers in butter. That's it. End of story."

"Surely a little lemon and tarragon--"

"Breading. Butter. Fried." Mack's final statement both interrupted Tyler's suggestion and ended all debate. When they got back, he began filleting the fish while the Tyler and Taylor went into town to get a few groceries to serve with the fish. Mick got out a deck of cards and suggested they play "Strip Poker" that night only, instead of losing a piece of clothing, the loser of the hand had to shrink twenty percent of their current height. He held up his smart phone's calculator for emphasis.

"Maybe when Gary and Sullivan get back: they'd love being shrunk," Jayden said.

"Bah, we'd all like it: admit it," Mick said in his deep brogue.

"Speak for yourself," Mack countered. He'd finished filleting the fish and was now breading them.

James stayed out of the debate.

In all honesty, he knew he'd enjoy it. He'd enjoy being shrunk. He'd enjoy more growth. He'd enjoy a mixture of the two or no changes to his person at all. He didn't care what happened as long as it involved these hot, handsome, friendly guys. That today was his last day, that they were celebrating it, made it feel like he was attending his own funeral.

The fox and rabbit returned, quickly made a shrimp-and-crab salad, a garlicky-rice dish with fresh peas, a bowl of fresh fruit, some bruschetta with tomatoes and prosciutto, and Tyler's favorite: fried mushrooms. Taylor took a chilled curry-potato soup out of the fridge that he'd brought from the house for the hot day. Served with the fried fish fillets they ate well and, as the sun sank on the opposite side of the lake, talked about the ritual to send their guest home.

Each of them had brought their arcane, ink-powered objects with them for that express purpose. Taylor had explained it all: the accidental magic had brought James to them and he was bound to it in a state of "imbalance". James didn't know what that meant, exactly, but the rest of them assured him it had to be fixed. He was out of his element, away from his world, and magic would only continue to plague his life if the mistake wasn't undone.

James left the table and went out on the deck to watch the sun set.

An hour later, as the last deep reds and powerful oranges faded to a midnight blue on the horizon, Mack came out and, with Mick, went down to build a fire circle on the rock-strewn lawn. Gradually, they started piling logs into it.

"Here: we got you this." Taylor's voice cut through James' haze. He looked up at the slender gamer. In his hands, he held a leash and collar. "Because of how we look like animals from your world," he said. "Mack thought it would be a funny joke. I thought you'd like it as a memento."

James forced a thin smile. He took the collar as Taylor unclasped it from the leash.

"Thanks."

Taylor leaned down and wrapped his arms around James where he sat in a deck chair. Hefting him to his feet, the rabbit hugged him. "Let's do this," he whispered.

James nodded. Looking down at the bonfire, he didn't see either of the two men who'd started it, but it was now cracking brightly, reaching towards the star-strewn sky overhead. As incongruous as it was, he wished he had marshmallows to roast over it.

"I should go inside; change my clothes," he said. He pulled, lightly, on the "Death Weasl" t-shirt Mick had lent him. Back home, it would only get stares. Besides, they'd cleaned the clothes he'd arrived in and brought them with.

"Good idea," Taylor said.

James went inside to change. The least Taylor could have done was sound sorry to see him go. But the rabbit's tone had been as even and normal as if he had announced they were taking James to the mall.

He changed, taking his time. He kept the collar on.

Looking in the small mirror over the sink, he realized it actually looked good with his white shirt: a perfect, diametrically-opposed contrast ... just like how he felt. He wanted to stay but Taylor had made it clear he had to leave. No more tests; no second chances. Black and white; conflicting realities. No middle ground.

He walked through the cabin, out onto the deck, down the wide wooden stairs, and towards the fire circle. He slowed as he approached. No one was there.

A low, punctuated rumble shook the ground in a shallow tremor. Quickly, it was followed by another. Then there came some more: giant impacts followed by giant impacts. Looking up and back he saw the five silhouettes looming over the trees: each over seventy feet tall, naked, and watching him. Taylor's tall, pointed ears stood out against the starry, night sky; he still held the leash, coiled in his hands at a titanic size.

The five men slowly stepped from the trees to stand around the fire. Their giant paws slammed into the ground, shaking James in a way he knew he'd never forget. The warm smell of their fur, of their very essences, filled the night air. Surrounding him, they stopped and looked down.

"Power flows through us like water in a riverbed," Taylor rumbled, quietly. "The ink lets us congeal that power: tap it, shape it, and use it."

"Each of our chakras must remain clear for this to happen," Tyler continued. He was wearing his sunglasses even at night. The fire glinted off their black surface.

Mack nodded. "And you're all messed up; you've been swimming in it without any idea how to control it. That's been our fault."

Jayden rubbed the tip of his ear, idly, as he continued. "And it wasn't the fun we had this last week, either. It was the magic we'd been using that accidentally brought you here: you're swimming in it."

"And as much as we want you to stay," Mick concluded, "we have to unblock the energies and let you flow on your way: back to your home."

Mick's feet were normal size, relative to his height and species. Jayden and Mack and Tyler were as hung as they ever were: impressive but not the exaggerations he'd played with over the last few days. Taylor looked down with a passive but steady expression on his eighteen-foot-wide face. They were giants in the night but, other than that, they were the same men he'd grown to love in the past week.

"Are you ready?" Taylor asked.

James didn't say anything. He just nodded.

Taking his tiny motion as assent the five men, in turn, activated their ink-enchanted items.

After tracing his finger around some nearly-invisible runes on his black leather belt, the only clothing he wore, Mick reached down and picked up James. The tiny human bit back a squeak of nervousness as the sapling-sized fingers coiled around him and hefted him into the night sky. The belt-runes glowed for a moment and then faded. Mick smiled and stopped with James only about two-thirds of the way up his body.

The huge kangaroo then reached with his free hand and began stroking his cock to full erect size. James felt his eyes go wide. In moments, Mick's monstrous shaft speared into the night sky, some fourteen feet long with two orbs beneath, each the size of a large beanbag chair. Before James could say anything, the giant roo pressed the tiny human against his penis and, slowly, began to stroke himself.

Giant, padded fingers surrounded him; pressed him to the giant sex. Mick was firm but gentle. James felt himself rise and fall, being rubbed up and down. Mick's fingers would linger as he rose to the edge of his tip long enough for James to get the idea and stroke it. Then, he'd send James back down, almost to his balls.

Almost against his will, James started getting turned on.

But before Mick could climax, the giant man touched one of the almost invisible, black-on-black runes on his belt, and passed the tiny James off to Jayden.

The fox, even as a giant, was nowhere near as tall but almost as endowed. Taking James in his delicate fingers, the lithe, over-sized vulpine picked up where Mick had left off. From the base of his shaft, he stroked James up and down, up and down. James could just see the man he'd just left continuing to pleasure himself. He looked around. Each of them were slowly stroking themselves in concert with one another.

Jayden used both hands to slide James up to his red tip. He giggled just a bit when James reached out to slide his hands under the ridge, at the up-stroke's apex. The fox squeezed a bit harder in return and James squirmed in a combination of helplessness and mounting pleasure. A giant bead of precum seeped from Jayden's tip and coated James's head and shoulders over the next few strokes.

After a few minutes, though, Jayden turned towards Mack. High above, James could just see the fox's earring crack; a few black, enamel-like flakes the size of James' palms drifted from the pearl's white, ink-coated surface.

Again, like a sex-toy, he was handed off.

He felt a powerful tingle start to rise in his body.

He was starting to feel ... untangled. It was as if something unseen was being unwrapped and lifted from him, piece by piece ... strand by strand.

Mack was a horse and it always showed.

Naturally the biggest, his cock had to be about twenty feet long at his current height. James spread his arms and legs wide, providing more surface area from his body against the colossal shaft. Clothing already damp and redolent of the pre-seed from both Mick and Jayden, Mack was like a small waterfall. He was dribbling even before Jayden passed him over. Looking up and across at the giant man's panting body, he was sure he saw it this time: his equine tattoo actually animated and winked at him.

The sensation of untangling energy grew stronger ... felt better. He moaned as he grew fully hard. Mack turned him around to face his cock, rubbing him face-and-front-first up and down the under-side of his shaft. The giant man grunted, bringing him close to the tip and over it. His slit yawned wide and James' eyes matched it. In seconds, he was lifted up and shoved in, feet-first.

Judging by the gasps from the others, it was unexpected.

Mack, though, just grinned in his cocky way. In moments, the horse's giant muzzle appeared over his tip and, as James was pushed in to his knees, his hips, his waist, his shoulders, Mack's giant mouth closed over his own tip and began to suck. Fluids both seminal and oral surrounded him in a rain of sexual warmth. Giant, blunt teeth surrounded him on all sides as he struggled and writhed to escape his fleshy, sexual prison. In between bouts of complete darkness and brief, external views of the night sky and raging bonfire below, James gasped at the power Mack was able to so casually display. Spurts of precum started pushing up around him, threatening to pop him from the giant shaft like a cork from a bottle. But, just as the pressure from below grew to the point where it seemed ejection would inevitable, Mack removed his mouth. The starry sky returned. The giant squeezed James out of his cock with a single finger pushed up along the course of his urethra.

The giant, like his tattoo, winked at him and passed him to Tyler.

Tyler took James with one hand and licked the index finger of his other. Running that finger along the upper edge of his glasses, he winked through their dark surface and lowered James to his shaft. With that, James saw that he was wrong: Mack hadn't been the largest of them. For all the equine's size, in both height and sexual girth, the slender fox was even more endowed. The white and black bands of natural coloration around his wrists and ankles looked supernatural in the flickering firelight. But James didn't get to see them for long. All his attention was on the fox's monstrous shaft as he was pressed into it and up and down.

The untangling sensation continued and, in the pit of his stomach, James felt a tugging. It felt like ... going home.

Tyler's breaths grew shorter and more guttural. The normally classy fox began to pant and, soon, James heard each of the rest starting to breathe in the same, near-to-climax fashion. Looking over to the last in the circle, he saw Taylor stroking his thick shaft with both paws. Like the rest, he looked close to orgasm.

"Hang in there, little man," Tyler breathed, "you're almost ... done."

After an extra slide down to the giant cleft between his giant balls, the overly-hung fox handed him off to Taylor.

The rabbit took James with shaking, precum-soaked paws and applied him to his cock. The untangling feeling grew to a peak and a pure sense of joy reverberated in James' heart. It was as if his burdens were washing away; his fears were vanishing. Yet, a tear still stung the side of his eyes. He could feel it: the ritual was ending.

A new light began to grow.

At first James wasn't sure where it was coming from. It wasn't pale like the illumination from the moon or stars. It wasn't the raging reds and oranges of the bonfire, below. Rather, it was a pale, pure green slowly filling the space between the five giants. After each stroke up to the tip of Taylor's shaft, he had a chance to see some more. The picture became clear. Each of them, each of their bodies, was emitting the light. It seemed to rise from each man's solar plexus. He wasn't sure what it meant but as the glow grew brighter, eclipsing even that of the flames, he felt an unseen burden lifting itself from him. The tugging sensation grew stronger. Thoroughly soaked, he passed up and over the massive rabbit's cock-tip again and again. The spurts of precum grew stronger and more voluminous. Each of them was on the brink.

Looking down at him with those large blue eyes, Taylor smiled through a haze of pleasure.

"Goodbye," he said, followed by, "revertetur."

In a flash, the rabbit climaxed. All five of them reached orgasm at the same time.

But Taylor did something else. As he spurted, his giant body shuddering and bucking with release, he opened his muzzle wide and bent nearly double. His giant maw, wide and dark, closed over his own spurting sex, trapping James inside. In a flash, James felt a rush of fear and uncertainty. Darkness and saliva surrounded him but along with a flood of cum. Unmoored from Taylor's cock, he was spurted into the cavern of the giant's mouth and washed towards the back.

Barely able to see, he gurgled and struggled to swim in the torrent. He gasped, feeling the energy called up around him flood his relatively tiny frame. The giant cocktip stopped spurting and pulled back from Taylor's lips.

For a moment, only a moment, James could see the fire and darkness and other four giants outside. Then, his giant captor stood back up and closed his mouth trapping the human inside. James cried out, his own cock suddenly spurting the last of the tangled energies from his body. His pants were soaked, his body and hair were soaked, and he tilted and spun past the back of Taylor's muzzle, into his throat, and down. Powerful muscles squeezed as they swallowed. He scrambled, being forced down, down, down... He tried to hold on but couldn't find anything that wasn't slippery or slick. With one final shout, he lost his bearings and felt himself swallowed, completely.

He fell a long way before landing, solidly, on hard, cold tiles.

The sounds of Taylor's giant body, its blood and internal noises, faded like a forgotten echo. Pale light, in small cracks as if under a door, were all James could see. He blinked, disoriented. His body was awash in the fluids of five men and he was alive. The tangled sensation and the tugging were gone.

He was ... elsewhere.

Shakily, he stood. Reaching out, he steadied himself against a knob of some sort on the wall. Accidentally, he turned it and unleashed a torrent of water from a showerhead. Sputtering, he tried to turn it off. After a few moments, though, he stopped trying and just let the water wash over him in a cleansing rain. He recognized this place.

His dorm. His home. The communal showers in the locker room.

He was back.

It took nearly a half hour before he was clean. He showered in the dark and, afterwards, bound himself up in towels and retreated to his room. The clock on the wall over his tiny bed said "two a.m.". Most everyone was asleep. Exhausted and spent, he knew that even showering in his clothes hadn't completely cleaned them. Tomorrow, he'd definitely have to do the laundry. With what energy remained in his exhausted body, he toweled himself dry and crawled into bed. He didn't expect he'd be able to fall asleep very quickly, but surprised himself. It was as if he closed his eyes one minute in darkness and in the next he was staring at sunlight streaming through his dingy, dorm-room window.

For nearly an hour, James lay in bed and stared at the ceiling. The blankets were warm and comforting, like the embrace of a giant kangaroo's feet or the fur of a fox. He pulled the sheets tight but they weren't as firm as the arms of a horse. He knew he had classes he was expected to go to but how could he face a teacher when he knew that those people, even if they didn't care where he'd been for a week, wouldn't have half the confidence and self-assurance as a fox in sunglasses? And how could he go to the bars knowing that the kindest, most beautiful smile was on the muzzle of a blue-eyed rabbit, a universe away?

He lay there for an hour but, eventually, got up.

He got out of bed and walked to his dresser to looked at himself. He looked like he always did after falling asleep with wet hair: bedraggled and messy. But he also looked ... rested. He couldn't deny the faint smile he saw in his reflection. Whatever he had been missing, before, was there in spades, now. He'd been through the looking glass, explored his every fantasy, and come through in one piece. He realized that it was true: it was better to have loved and lost than never loved at all.

A faint tug caught his attention.

It was a strange sensation, but slightly familiar: a pulling around his shoulders and neck.

He looked around, but saw nothing.

He turned back to look at his reflection and saw it. He was still wearing the black collar they'd given him. It was as dark as shadow, as black as ink. He wore the collar, still, but the leash was somewhere else, in another universe. The leash, he remembered, had also been ink-black.

He swallowed and felt a faint hope well up from within.

The tugging sensation came again, stronger this time, and James leapt into action.

Quickly, he emptied his dresser. Shirts, pants, and small items he thought he might need quickly got shoved into his backpack. He tossed books, a few granola bars, his e-reader, and an iPod in after the clothing. Quickly dressing, he stood and looked at himself in the mirror.

He looked anxious but that was to be expected.

The tugging sensation returned, stronger than ever, but, this time, James just closed his eyes and gave it permission. Each of the guys had their own conduit to the ink. Each of them had to allow others access if they wanted to tap the magic. And, thanks to his collar, he had an access point, too.

As he let go, the fabric of the world bent and folded like crumpled paper. He felt himself falling. The world spun. The will and experience of five men opened a gateway that, previously, had only been pierced by dangerous accident. This time, he was a willing participant. Five men had left their mark on him and shown him where he belonged. With no tangles this time, he passed through the eye of the spell.

"Dimitte ergo me ut domum," he said.

James vanished.
