The Gate Keeper

By: Otterwhiz!

Runik sighed as he gazed out the stone window.

Ka'Rahyah Citadel. Reached huge solemn spires into the cloudy gray sky of the misty canyon. A monument to the Saurian race's studies in the magical arts.

Runik suddenly toppled on the stairs as the other pupils behind him shoved him forward.

"Come on, get moving!"

The young reptile got back up and continued his walk with the rest of the students to Seer C'akart's library. Runik was in this class of student acolytes who were taking a break from their normal force projection lessons to visit the Seer's private library for a short introduction on the relatively new field of gate travel. Normally, Runik would be interested in this, but the modest grades and the unfriendly treatments from the other more aggressive pupils had dulled his mood.

Most of his peers were of the draconian breed. These winged Saurians were adorned with many intricate horns and frills and were gifted with a strong level of intelligence. There were other Saurian species enrolled in the Citadel such as the Ralaks, the Wyvers, and so on. There were hardly any Solven such as Runik. His breed were wingless and hornless lizardmen with a large kinfe talons on the middle toe of each foot. They also had stout, teeth-filled jaws like that of the more primitive and ferocious Tyrant Lizards. Solvens were generally the workers and foot soldiers of the Saurian race. However, Runik lacked greatly in the physical and aggressive fields of his fellow breed. He was small and thin, though he had the big jaws. Also, he was very passive and shy, something a warrior could not be. Yet, he was more able in his mind and was set to pursue the studies of the magical arts. Now at age 16, Runik was another inexperienced student at the Citadel.

The class shuffled up through many of the elaborately decorated halls and up more winding stairwells. Eventually, the group came to the doors that led into the Seer's personal quarters. Seer C'akart was an old draconian of well-respect. He was one of the few draconians born with indigo wing webbing which is not only beautiful, but a sign of a very intelligent mind. He was not a mere wizard, but a curious magic scientist that used his rational approaches to fashion magical energies into usable forms. The controlled gate teleportation is a product of this study.

The Seer himself was a fairly modest and quite old draconian. His green scales were slightly dulled and he had wavy tufts of white hair hanging from his chin and his eyebrows. His voice was very friendly and mellow. Still, he possessed a regal air about him. He was known for his kindness and love of teaching. As the class settled in his main room, he went into discussion of his knowledge on gate travel.

"...This idea, although relatively new, was first created by ancient people from some far off world. The fact that we have knowledge of it is due to its ability to transcend the boundaries of distance so easily. However, this factor also helped contribute negatively to it. Many times in history did many peoples and individuals attempt to use the gate for personal means. Many have been closed of or destroyed due to these factors. That's why so few know of this science today. Nowadays though, these gates are mostly used by wizards and scholars as transportation of ideas, magical objects, and other informative things. A network of many worlds now use them for these cooperative reasons in the great pursuit of knowledge and partnership. Hundreds if not thousands of gates are tied together in this way."

Some of the class were quickly bored by the kindly dragon's lesson, but when the class was led into the Seer's gate chamber, their heads popped up. Against the wall, surrounded by a carves stone stage was a massive black stone circle carved into the wall. In the middle of it was a undulating gray membrane that appeared like a glowing liquid. Everyone was amazed.

"Rarely do actual people pass through these gates nowadays," said the Seer. "But watch what it does when I open it..."

The Seer moved his taloned had across the surface of a crystal orb embedded in a pedestal before the stone stage. Instantly the field turned blue and glowed more brightly.

"When the gate is opened or shut, the portal wanders aimlessly between various other gates around the world. First thing I do is direct the enchanted symbols scryed into its stone circle to a certain fixed location so that it stops wandering. I will now focus it on the smaller gate in my private study nook."

The old dragon scrawled a gentle pattern on the surface of another adjacent orb in a pedestal. After doing so, he took his staff and carefully plunged it through. "Now let's go see."

The class was then led up into the Seer's reading nook. The small, crammed space was filled with books and shelves and various other stuff. It could barely fit the class. Against another wall was another blue glowing gate with an old but elaborately patterned Persian rug before it. On that rug lay the Seer's staff. Everyone was wowed. Runik was thrilled. Picking up his staff, the Seer rubbed his hand over another orb in a beautiful wooden holder and the gate went gray.

"And that's that. Items and knowledge and partnerships traded easily. The portal will now unfocus and move between exits every few minutes or so. Each one opens to another gate. It may be in a holy temple, another wizard's library, a scholar's study, an enchanted field with many magical herbs, a secret scroll storage sealed off deep underground, or even an educated king's bedroom. Who knows. Each transport...," the Seer drifted on.

Afterwards, Runik retuned back to his own quarters. The Seer's gate had stunned him speechless. It was beautiful and fascinating. The idea of being able to pass to new, amazing worlds filled the young Saurian with much wonder. As he ate his dinner in the mess hall, he thought long about the fantastic gate. He wanted to lean more of gate teleportation. All night, until he turned in for bed, Runik thought about the gate and even the idea of being able to escape his world when it would get to stressful.

Late that night, Runik awoke from his slumber. He groaned in dismay, knowing he would have to try and fall asleep again. As he lay there, the little dragon's mind pondered on the stresses of his daily routine and how alienated he felt. Sleep was far away. After a while, his thoughts drifted to the gate again. He dreamed of being a gate keeper like the Seer, holding the responsibility of managing the portal and it's connections.

After a while of sleepless rambling, Runik decided sleep was impossible and that he should just enjoy a quiet walk around the Citadel. Getting up, he yawned and paced over to his closet. He removed his heavy acolyte robe. It was made of a heavy burgundy cotton with a patch of the school's symbol on one sleeve. He was required to wear it to class everyday. Runik put it on over his pale pajamas and quietly walked out into the halls.

There were a few empty voices down the corridors, but almost no one was out this late. Runik walked unnoticed through the hallways, glancing out widows at the lovely Citadel and just enjoying the vast solitude. After a bit, he thought of the gate again. Perhaps he could go and observe its wonder alone. The idea filled him with excitement.

The doors to Seer C'akart's quarters were unlocked and the little dragon was able to open them with quiet ease. The darkened room was empty of any soul. The Seer was most likely in his bedroom, fast asleep. Runik moved carefully over to the massive doors of the gate room. However, they were locked.

For a moment, his heart sank, until he remembered the one in the reading room.

The old oaken door creaked open slightly as the smell of incense wafted out of the room. It was empty. With a sigh of relief, Runik shut the door behind him and basked in the gray light shining on the cluttered, dusty bookshelves. The young dragon had the gate to himself. He imagined he was its keeper coming in to check on it. He walked over to the undulating gray and stood before it. Hands trembling, he reached over and carefully rubbed the sphere.

The gray instantly burst into a lovely liquid blue, causing Runik to jump in surprise. The worlds of the gate were open to its keeper.

Runik sat down before it and just stared. Before him, the portal moved between exits hidden behind its blue membrane. The dragon let it drift open, pondering the worlds beyond. It made his head spin. Eventually, his thoughts just spiraled away and he just laid back and enjoyed the blue, slightly warm light it gave off.

After a long while of just laying there with no thought in his head, Runik finally retuned to the present. He began to wonder if he should start heading back to his room soon. By now it was probably around 2:00 in the morning.

It was then that a feeling in his gut suddenly gave him an unusual idea. He looked up at the gate as the idea turned into an enticing urge.

Runik got up and thought for a second. Then, acting on impulse, he gave in to his urge. The young lizard positioned himself on the Persian rug before the open gate. Then he reached into the front of his robe and undid the button on his pajama pants. The blue membrane made a soft ploop sound as a yellow stream penetrated its surface. The membrane around the spot where it entered ripples softly like a pond. Runik sighed with enjoyment as he felt the pleasant sensation of his bladder emptying itself. He imagined being a keeper again, irresponsibly relieving himself into his gate. Ever since being a kid, he had always liked going to the bathroom in odd places. Somewhere in some far of religious temple or some old scholar's study, a stream of pee was invading, soiling everything around it. Runik felt he was leaving a mark of himself in some far off world and he loved it.

The stream intensified, an aching full bladder behind it. As he luxuriated himself in his act, Runik's penis began to harden. Dribbles of pee splashed down on the Prersian rug, leaving more of the young lizard's mark. He continued happily, a childish pleasure guiding him. He giggled with glee as his pee flowed through the gate.

Eventually the impressive stream finally exhausted itself, dribbling its last squirts onto the elegantly crafted rug. Quickly, the young lizard buttoned up his pajamas and closed the gate. He knew the portal would wander soon and no one would ever know who had made the urine. Runik made his way back to his room, no one noticing his passage.

As Runik laid in bed, his mind drifted on. He planned to regularly stop by the Seer's gate at night to relieve himself into it again. All the gate keepers would be shocked that some gate keeper was actually peeing through his own gate. They would be unable to figure out who, since the gates wander and to many to mention cover the worlds. Runik even began to wonder about pooping through the gate. The idea delighted him. By now he had grown a restless arousal and began to stroke himself , dreaming of when he would be a keeper himself. It didn't take long before he climaxed, semen gushing all over the inside of his acolyte robe. He panted through his big jaws as he slumped down in bed.

Soon he was fast asleep, dreaming of his wonderful gate.
