Mirror
#2 of Poetry
A poem that dissects my own anger. Two sides of the same man speak. Hope it makes sense.
Mirror, Oh Mirror,
What do you see
Behind that bright face of glee?

_Hidden well beneath a mask Thinner than air; Away from the prying eyes
You hide something hideous; Fowl and disgraceful A beast
One of pure indignation,_
Hiding tears of disparity,
Silently screaming in a room of utter nothingness
Tis all a set;
_ A stage_
An opening for something far greater
_ _
A tradgedy
A comedy
Dyed red by your mind's fury
Hidden away within his mind lies the key
Why will you not see?
Or is it perhaps he who is blind?

You will lose that which you love
For you are too ignorant and full of anger to see
That would you do is a parasite that slowly infects he
Cold glass against my fist
No more will I hear From that wretched mirror

Simply smashing me will do nothing
And yet again you prove your insanity,
Knowing nothing but anger
_ _
I see the desire planted so firmly in thine heart
Tis a noble purpose that would bring about great change
Yet you do not pursue it
You do nothing to further it; What is stopping you?
You truly are an ignorant beast

And you are to know better?
You walk not in my shoes! You know nothing of what I am!
You simply cannot be real! You are an apparition; An illusion
But that is where you are wrong! I am quite real, you see,
You've even touched me

I am as real as the trees, The birds,
And the bees
_ _
I am part of this world,
No mere apparition,
And I speak only truth for I am omniscient
_ _
I see within you your every waking thought! I know your memories as if they are my own
And I know of what hand fate has dealt you
_ _
You simply cannot be real! Crumble beneath my fists! Speak no more!
But I shall never disappear
For you and I are one: A division of a soul
_ _
You are not me! You cannot be! You know nothing!
I know more than you wish But this makes me no less of you, You filthy beast
_ _
Silence! Speak no more of untrue words! Tell no more of your lies!
They are not lies
But simply the truth
Told askew
_ _
The purest truth
Told from your own perspective;
Do you not see, you ignorant waste of space?
_ _
Stop!
Stop talking! It's all lie!
Truth is the only language I speak! Realize this you fowl creature!
Open your eyes and see truth!

No! You speak not truth!
You are not me!
