After making a wish upon a star, a doctor comes across a wounded Sangheili. Shortly after, his wish comes true.

(Song Lyrics © "When You Wish Upon A Star")

There are so many up there. So, so very many... how many is anybody's guess. Sure, the galaxy had been travelled quite a bit in the last few generations, but even then the amount that existed was unknown. It was highly unlikely that there were any living mortals that truly knew the amount of stars that existed... but there were thousands of legends and myths behind them.

'Oh! A shooting star!' Thought a citizen, as he watched out of his bedroom window, the night deep and almost halfway done.

He had just finished doing some paperwork, forms to fill out for all of his patients. He silently made his wish, and after several more moments lay down on the bed. He needed to get up in a few hours for work, anyway. A doctor's job is never complete, after all, and he would require his rest for his next shift. It was going to happen in only eight - KRRSHH!

"What the hell!" The man, in his mid-thirties, exclaimed as he bolted upright. Rapidly putting on a bathrobe and sandals, he raced down the stairs in his house to where the crash had originated. Throwing the door open, he glanced around, and sighed at what he saw. "How foolish of me to think I'd get some rest... hup, up we... don't go."

He had just tried to lift the creature to bring them inside. They had been using a vehicle to get around, and obviously they had messed up or something, thus causing quite the crash. This person was a full two feet taller than his five-foot-eight, and weighed quite a bit more. It was raining pretty badly, he simply had to get them inside, if he was to treat them properly. Taking a deep breath, he gently picked up the creature again, and grit his teeth at the weight. After some struggling, he finally got the person to lay on the couch... and follow through with making it all bloody. Great, now he would have to clean that to eliminate the biohazard.

"Looks like I've got my work cut out for me..." He sighed, after removing the clothing. So many wounds - and was that a broken leg? "You just ruined a quiet night, you know that?"

With that, the doctor got to work.

[When you wish upon a star, Makes no difference who you are.]

"I need you to send an ambulance, I've got someone here that's pretty badly wounded," The guy said on the phone several minutes later. "He's got twenty-seven lacerations - ten of which require surgery - a broken leg, and several broken ribs. Oh, and he's lost almost a pint and a half of blood, all of which has fallen on my couch, floor, and lawn. Have the staff prepare at least two pints of E-negative blood."

A pause as he listened to a question dealing with the blood type.

"Hmm... let's see, he's really fuckin' tall, two thumbs, four mandibles... yeah, I'd say he's a Sangheili," He said, sarcasm heavy in his voice. Then he sighed. "I'm sorry, I've just lost all chances for sleep and I haven't slept in almost twenty-four hours. Tell the EMTs that I'll be going with them to help with this guy's recovery. He's basically my patient now, anyway."

With that, once the proper information had been given, the doctor went upstairs with his communicator offline, and came back down in fifteen minutes, dressed and ready for the team to arrive already. This guy would need surgery, and this doctor had to be ready to help perform it. Several chugged cups of coffee later - why is it they weren't working that well? - the team finally arrived, and he opened the door for them.

"Didn't expect to get a call from you, Dr. Sokuto," Said one of the EMTs.

"I didn't expect to have this guy crash into my lawn, either," He countered easily, as he led the way in. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised they'd send you here, James."

There was a pause of silence as the group of four medical personnel moved the Sangheili onto a stretcher, and they worked as a team to get him in the ambulance. He was out cold, just as Jake Sokuto wanted to be.

"Tired, Jake?" James grinned to his friend, even as he hooked the large creature up to a pint of blood.

"And you aren't?" Jake retorted, not unkindly.

"No, I just had my break and slept for an hour. Shouldn't you get some rest? It's your first break in a full day and you were doing small surgeries the entire time."

"I'll get some rest after I help take care of this guy."

"Coffee doesn't work after the seventh time, you know that, dude."

"Doesn't stop me from trying, though, does it?"

"Obviously."

By the time they reached the hospital, the two were still talking - but the moment the ambulance stopped at the door, it ceased and they both worked to help get the badly wounded Sangheili into the OR. It was necessary, after all. As they went, another of the species came over and assisted. After several generations of being together, the humans and Elites had learned to live together in... relative peace, and the former had helped their new allies learn that it was alright to be healed, even if it was dishonorable or anything of the sort. After all, it was easier to regain the lost honor alive than dead.

"Brother?" This Sangheili said, referring to his kind in the manner they always did. "What happened to bring about these wounds?"

"He was operating some sort of vehicle, and probably made a mistake or something," Sokuto answered as they hurried to the right room. "In this rain, that's quite understandable, I suppose. Ended up crashing head-first into my lawn. He's stable and we need to get to work."

"We? You have not rested for some time, doctor," The working Elite commented. They had been colleagues for quite some time, and after some early troubles, even friends. "Are you certain that you cannot allow others to do this?"

"Well, I was already taking care of him when the ambulance arrived so he's kinda already my patient," Sokuto said, as he shrugged on his surgical garb. "And I'm the hospital's human expert on Sangheili anatomy, so I think I'll do it."

"Very well, but with such little rest, I must insist that you be only the assistant. In your state, you may make a fatal mistake."

"Deal."

The Sangheili had long since learned and grown used to the idioms of the human's language, and the same could be said the other way. With that, both Sokuto and Jurna' went to work.

[Anything your heart desires, Will come to you.]

"Ah, you are finally awake, brother," Jurna' commented as he watched his brethren finally open his eyes. "You were badly wounded. I am told you lost a battle against the weather."

"That is true, brother," Said the bedridden Sangheili. He was bandaged up everywhere. "How long have I been unconscious?"

"Approximately a day. Do not attempt any activity beyond speech, for now. There was much trouble in dealing with your injuries... perhaps you could tell me what it is that caused you to reach such a state?"

"I do not quite understand it myself, brother," The Sangheili said, his brows furrowed. "Something had compelled me to ride through the town. I had been restless, and so I had followed my instincts. I do not know what the reasons were for this feeling, and I have yet to decide if it was for the better."

Jurna' nodded, and was about to say more when his colleague entered the room.

"This is the one who found you," Jurna' said. "He tells me that you seemed to have found his lawn a place suitable to crash on."

"I apologize for any problems I have caused," The bedridded Sangheili said, bowing his head as much as he could to Sokuto. The doctor shrugged.

"It's alright, it's better than you landing elsewhere and ending up not surviving," The human said calmly. "And you didn't cause any problems."

"Of course not," Jurna' said, giving Sokuto a look. "All that happened was you trying to play the hero and attempting to take care of him on little to no sleep."

"Can't deny it," Sokuto grinned. "Anyway, I have other patients to check on. Don't do anything crazy."

At that, Sokuto waved as he left. Jurna' ignored his colleague's odd actions, but it caught the patient's interest.

"Tell me, brother," He said.

"You are wondering why he took the time to take care for you, when he should have been resting?" Jurna' interrupted. "Well, brother Kuln, it is his duty, as it is mine."

"I am more interested in why it is that he seemed far more relaxed among us, but tensed as he left."

"Yes, that... he has always been as such. It appears to me that he does not quite feel comfortable in his own skin. Do you understand what I mean, brother?"

Kuln nodded, and wondered why that was. Perhaps it was something to inquire at another time.

[If your heart is in your dream, No request is to extreme.]

"I'm sorry that we had to move you out so suddenly," Jake apologized to Kuln.

"It is no problem, if anything, I should be apologizing to you," Kuln said. "You did not need to invite me to recover in your home."

Jake shrugged at this. A few days had passed since Kuln had been admitted into the hospital, and just yesterday several accidents and problems had arisen, and all of the beds were needed. With the Sangheili only needing bed rest at a home and nothing from the hospital he'd needed to go somewhere. But as it was found out, he had no place to go on this planet... not anymore. During his time recovering, Kuln's home had been burnt to the ground in a lightning storm. And Jake had been kind enough to invite him to stay with him until he found a proper place.

"Don't worry about it, this place is too big for one person anyway," Sokuto said, having already shown the Sangheili the rest of the home. "This is where you'll be staying."

Despite himself, Kuln was impressed at the way the guest room was furnished. Almost exactly like it had been in his own home.

"I must admit, doctor, I am impressed," Kuln said. It was perfect, honestly. "Jurna' has told me of your position in the hospital as the expert of our anatomy, but he did not mention you knew our culture."

Jake gave a slight smirk.

"Egaugna la nraeluo yneh werutluceht nrealote vahouy."

Now Kuln was really interested. The doctor knew the Sangheilian language?

"Eguagnal ruo ekopsuoy wonktond idi."

After some time of speaking in the language, one that Jake only got to use around Julna', and even then quite rarely. It only confirmed the suspicions of Kuln and Julna' - the human seemed far more comfortable around Sangheili than his own kind. That was acceptable, of course, but Kuln felt he had to repay the doctor... but how?

[When you wish upon a star, As dreamers do.]

He did not understand it. Why was he such close friends with this human? The doctor had helped him to survive. He had been given a place to live, when his home had been lost. He had been healed when wounded, and after time, that applied to both physical and emotional pains. He had even been recommended for a job at the hospital, to recover financially when everything seemed to have fallen apart. He was torn away from his thoughts when the door opened and -

"Doctor?" Kuln frowned. His friend was hurt. Badly. The man ignored the Sangheili, but not rudely.

"Bastards," Jake scoffed under his breath. Face pale, smatterings of blood on his shirt, this man has obviously been hurt.

"Are you alright?"

Sokuto was silent for a while, using one arm. Now that he paid more attention, Kuln noticed that the man's writing arm was at an angle that was wrong. Sure, the man was double-jointed at the elbow - something the Sangheili had been interested in learning about when he'd first noticed - but this was different. Humans did not have joints in the middle of their forearms, and certainly not in that way.

"Some lingering human supremist jerks thought it wrong when I defended your race," Jake said. The doctor noticed the Elite's frown deepen, almost angrily. "Don't go after them, it's not worth it, they've been taken care of. It won't take all that long to deal with a broken arm. The rest, though..."

"What's wrong?" Kuln asked again, a little more firmly, assisting in the setting of the arm.

Sokuto grunted at his arm being moved and touched, no matter how gently. The Elite had learned well over the past few months at the hospital, during times when he'd been needed in an emergency. The man was silent, and the Elite noticed how alarmingly pale his friend's face was.

"You have lost a lot of blood," He observed. "From the arm?"

"No, not the arm," Jake said, breath starting to become slightly shallow. "As it turns out, karate doesn't work well against broken glass and knives..."

Kuln, despite already being alarmed, snapped to attention. He gingerly lifted his friend's shirt, and grimaced at what he saw. Lacerations. Deep.

"Déjà vú, huh?" Sokuto commented.

"Unfortunately. I am assuming you can bandage these for the moment?"

Jake nodded. He could already tell how much blood he'd lost. The doctor grabbed his first aid kit, and fighting to stay conscious long enough, went to work.

[Fate is kind, She brings to those who love.]

"I do not understand it brother," Kuln commented quietly to Javna', the human doctor recovering and unconscious in the hospital. What an odd thing, to have their roles swapped a full three months after meeting in such a similar manner. It sent chills down the Sangheili's spine, honestly.

"What confuses you?" Javna' inquired, as he spent a few minutes insuring that his colleague and friend was connected properly.

Kuln remained silent for some time. Then, he spoke again, and explained.

[The sweet fulfilment, Of their secret longing.]

"There, fully healed," Jake said, once he'd returned from a check-up at the very same hospital he worked at.

"I am glad," Kuln said, almost distractedly. Sokuto didn't miss it.

"Something wrong?" He asked, hanging up his coat and kicking off his shoes at the door.

"...In a manner of speaking," Kuln admitted at length, and stood from his seat at the table. He sat near his close human friend on the couch, the one that had been bought some months ago. The old one had been too small for both a human and Sangheili. "Javna' and I have... noticed that you seem to feel out of place."

Jake remained silent for a while.

"...Good observations," He admitted after some time. "It's been like this for several years now; ever since college. I spent half the time studying medical, the other half studying Sangheilian language and culture. Some of the human supremists didn't really like that."

"Sometimes it makes me wonder how badly you would rather be one of us."

"Sometimes... more than I can say with mere words..."

Kuln nodded. He did not think he could fix that, anyway, but that was not the main point of this conversation.

"You seem to have something else you want to talk about."

Kuln remained silent for several minutes. The silence was not awkward, but rather that of someone patiently waiting for their friend to speak.

"...I do," Kuln admitted. "When you had been that badly harmed, I... Jake, I..."

Shaking his large head slightly, the Sangheili wondered why his race was considered brave, when he was too cowardly to say this one thing. It was mere words, but it was the meaning behind them that was difficult to convey. So... courage swelling and holding it like it was his final life-line, Kuln leaned forward and carefully caressed his dear friend. Suddenly it became clear to the doctor what his Sangheili friend had been so nervous to say aloud... and the man didn't mind one bit. When the two seperated, the human felt heat flush over his body, leaving him feeling lustful and wanting.

"I... I do not hope you mind," Kuln said slowly, feeling unsure.

"I don't," Jake answered calmly, pulling the male into another caress, far deeper this time. The Sangheili was, at first, surprised - but that quickly gave way to lust. He had heard rumors of the doctor's bisexuality.

When the two seperated again, they decided unanimously to simply hold each other close for a few moments. It soon became clear to the human that something was occuring with his body.

"Erm... Kuln," Jake said gently.

The Elite looked, and frowned. His little human was... growing taller. In more ways than one. Seeing the man's petite member stiff and ready for action, made the Sangheili start to fail in holding his own from growing erect. What was oddly attractive about it, however, was its slow growth and changes. In fact, looking a little more closely, Kuln noticed his close friend changing everywhere... and noticing the man's quiet murrs of pleasure, apparently it felt nice. Was he...?

"I believe that... something... has caused a change in you," Kuln said, as his own cock started to emerge. These changes were very pleasing to watch. "You, my dear human, are becoming a Sangheili."

Jake looked himself over, and noticed that Kuln was correct; as he grew taller, it was supplemented by bulges in muscle everywhere. Hands transformed to have two thumbs and two regular fingers, while the feet grew to have two large 'toes'.

"And I am wondering something," Kuln smirked slyly. His lust was starting to get the better of him; Jake's transforming member and body were quite attractive. "Perhaps it will go faster..."

Carefully removing the man's clothing, with no objections, the Sangheili gently started to tease his love's length. Just as had been suspected, the changes sped up, and to quite an interesting speed. Kuln was falling deeper into lust, as he watched the man's length soon match his own in that it was a light red, almost pink. At the base of the cock was where the balls were hidden inside, and the entire thing could slide into and hid inside a slit, where the man's protective skin had fled to in order to create an internal sheath. Even better, that area that held the little cum factories? It could bulge into a slight knot, but the best part was that fully erect, the entire thing was a foot long. Twice the size of the man's original member. Speaking of the man, he had become quite muscled, and the same height and size as Kuln himself.

"Mrr, you look very nice..." Kuln purred, enjoying making what was now his lover moan as he pumped that thick, sexy cock. It had dribbled out and eliminated its pathetic human cum already. "And looking better..."

Far more quickly than the original Sangheili had anticipated, the target of his affection had fully transformed. Perhaps the dribbling cum had accelerated it even more? That didn't matter, he was just so sexy!

"Mmm, you look like you want me," Jake said, slipping nimbly away from his lover. "Perhaps you could pleasure us both?"

Jake said this last part as he slowly walked into Kuln's room. The original Elite gave a look of lust and followed, arriving in time to grip Jake's waist as the former human presented himself. They both moaned loudly - very, very loudly when Kuln gently and slowly filled his mate's ass. Growling from deeper in his throat, Kuln started to pound against his new mate, mentally noting to mark him later. For now, he grabbed his love's cock and started to pump it in time with his humps.

"Graahh... K-Kuln..." Jake moaned out. That lust and heat from earlier had reached its peak, and it was just begging for release!

"Liking... it?"

Of course Jake was liking it - he loved this! Damn, that cock really filled every inch of his insides, and so well, too! It had stretched his sphincter just the right amount to not be painful, and to intensely pleasurable. This was beyond anything that he'd every enjoyed before; if either of them had their way, they would never leave each other's sides... perhaps they'd add a third person another time - possibly a female that would be open-minded enough - but this was the center of their attention now. Kuln pounding his love's tight and sexy ass for all he was worth, pumping Jake's thick cock just right.

"Nnngg... GRAH!" Kuln exclaimed as he finally, at last, poured everything out.

Jake remained silent, just enjoying the intensly blissful sensations of blowing an enormous load all over the bed, and being filled with his new mate's cum. That wish from all those months ago... it had finally come true... now, he was more than content to fill his new Sangheili lover, and in return, be filled. They soon decided to change Jake's name to Julnra, but that was a detail that would be important later. At the moment, they were ignoring all else, and simply putting forward the duty of expressing their love for each other...
