#1 of The Human series

A little background on this piece. In this world, furs dominate the place and humans, well they are kinda an afterthought. In this story we follow C.J. Davis, a human who is breaking history and becomes the first ever human allowed into an all fur school. Imagine that humans live on another continent and Davis is making the trip over, practically to a new world.

Hi, my names C.J. Davis. I'm about 6 feet tall, dark brown hair and brown eyes, I enjoy sports and I often like to read and write. I think I'm a pretty chill guy. Oh yeah, and I'm a human.

Apparently the president of the united states got together with the leader of the fur world and wanted to take a step in connecting the two sides. Our president thought it would be a good idea to send a human over for one year and have them go to high school in the "fur world," Well each city nominated one student to each school and each state nominated one person. Then the president picked me as the one who would go. I didn't even know I was selected until he actually called me and asked if I wanted to do it. I said yes of course not knowing what I was getting myself into.

"Fifteen minuets until we reach our destination," the pilot of the plane announced to me. Oh yeah, for some reason they gave me a huge plane all by myself. To be honest I'm a little nervous for when I first step off the plane.

As we made our descent I looked out the window and saw the airport. The stewardess kindly stood up and directed me towards the exit of the plane. I stepped out of the plane and that's when I saw my first furry and it was their president.

A male German Shepard, tall, about 6 foot 2 walked up to me and extended out his paw. "Hello C.J. welcome to Vemont, the home of the furries. My names Wade Davis." he said with a smile on his face. It was really weird seeing a furry talk for the first time "Thank you sir it's an honor to meet you," I replied while shaking his hand.

"Well it's good to see your well-mannered, follow me into that car over there, I'll have my driver take you to your new home."

When we got in the car we talked a little bit about what it was like living back in the United States, and I quickly found out it was practically the same in Vemont. Looking around out of the car it looked just like back home in Iowa. I couldn't even tell I was in Vemont.

"Ahh yes here we are, your new home," He said with a smile. "I know it's kinda out here by itself but we didn't really want to attract a lot of attention to you," He was right about the low budget part, the house wasn't big at all. "Oh it will work out just fine," I replied."

"Good to hear, now I'll be dropping you off here. Remember if there's anything that you need all you have to do is call me. Inside there is a credit card on the table, money isn't a problem for you but just don't go overboard alright."

"I'll try not to," I replied with a keen smile on my face. "Thanks again for everything that you've done." And with that I stepped out of the car and into my new home for the year.

It wasn't big but it was well kept. When you first walk in there's a place where you can take off your shoes. To your right is a kitchen, to your left is a computer room. There's a bathroom right next to the kitchen and right next to the computer room was my bedroom. All of my stuff was sent here ahead of time and everything was already unpacked. I looked at my clock and it was already 10:00 P.M. and I had my first day of school tomorrow. So I figured that it would be best for me to go to sleep.

Tomorrow, I practically begin a new life in a new world. It's defiantly going to be weird.
