Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Ventures of Beyond

CH: 3

2 weeks after Shiro's miserable defeat he spent most of his time training in private, slowly increasing his level and he could feel his confidence beginning to grow.

Today he was just outside of the guild gates when just before him he saw 3 red rings appear on the ground. The rings appeared to be moving and then segments of similar rings appeared in the air above the first set. That was quickly was followed by a strong gust of wind and a flash of light that disappeared with all of the red circles in an instant leaving 2 pokemon in its wake.

Shiro gasped when he saw the 2 pokemon sensing the power from them that he only felt around Team Audacity.

"You there are you a member of this guild?" a Wevile asked

"Y-Yes who are you?" Shiro asked

"Us? Were the Bounty Hunters Team Arrowhead, I recommend you bring us to Ninetales." The Wevile answered as the pokemon behind him glanced down at Shiro shaking the Eevee's newly found confidence. "Lucario Don't frighten the softies here or Ninetales will complain to Charizard"

There was something about the Wevile that seemed off but Shiro shook the thought off. "She's this way" Shiro said leading in the two inside.

After leaving the two bounty hunters with the Guild master Shiro went back to his day of training. Officially it was his day to rest but he wanted to be able to get stronger faster and because of that He made a small place out of the way to practice on the edge of town.

He was out late having lost track of time. He didn't stop until he was satisfied with the days training and now it was late at night and he was sure that the other guild members have gone to sleep 'I think it's time to sleep' he thought to himself. As he headed back to the guild planning his next day out when he saw 2 figures leaving the guild with a sack that seemed to be moving. 'That's definitely not normal. Should I follow them or should I get the others?' He thought to himself then he decided that he wouldn't have the time to get help especially when the guild would be asleep.

Shiro followed the pokemon to the edge of the Mystery dungeon known as Riverside Hills "Well this may be harder than I thought" He said when they had entered "Whatever they are up to, I need to figure it out and report it to Ninetales." With a deep breath he followed.

"How strong are these guys I haven't met up with any pokemon yet?" Shiro said as he walked through the first two floors. But he met up with a few plant types on the next floor and beat them with a surprise tackle but getting to the final floor wasn't hard in the least.

'I hear voices ahead. They sound familiar...Aya and Totodile' Shiro hid himself and listened

"You won't get away with this Totodile. When my mother finds you ..."Aya threatened

"Your mom doesn't know we took you and soon you won't need to worry about petty things like that. And stop struggling against the rope or I will use force to stop you." Totodile replied

'If Totodile is there and Aya is probably the one that was in the sack then who is missing' Shiro thought then he instinctively rolled to the side seconds before the ground exploded where he was a second ago.

"I see your ability is Anticipation that's quite rare" Croagunk said stepping towards Shiro forcing him back towards Aya and Totodile. "I told you we were followed but not to worry it was only Shiro"

"Oh really? Just him, that's too bad. Look Aya Watch as Croagunk crushes your only hope of escape."

Shiro locked eyes with his opponent and crouched down ready to attack.' So far all I know is that Croagunk knows Brick Break so I need to learn what he can do and find an opening'

Croagunk started with Poison Sting but moved first using Double Team. "What!? When did he learn that? "Croagunk tried again missing once again but this time he added a Mud-Slap into the mix forcing Shiro to stop and jump back to dodge another Brick Break.

The two had a stare down once again. "Shiro give up, you can't beat him" Aya said.

"Shut up Aya, I'm not going to lose. If you want to think like that keep it to yourself because I'm busy" Shiro growled and Croagunk used Poison Sting but the attack exploded between both pokemon.

"What?" Croagunk said "what was that?"

"Here let me show you again." Shiro opened his mouth and a black blob formed before it quickly flew into Croagunk sending him flying back. Shiro took the time to charge at Croagunk and hit him with a tackle knocking the opponent out. Not wasting any time Shiro bombarded Totodile with Shadow Balls while closing in for another tackle knock out.

"Hey are you ok?" Aya asked.

"No, I'm not ok. That Croagunk's ability was Poison Touch," Shiro growled

Aya used her ember to untie herself "Shiro? When did you get so strong? You never used moves like that on me before."

"That's not important let's just het home." Shiro said walking over to her.

Over the next few hours they walked home in silence until they got out of Riverside Hills. Shiro felt another wave of dizziness and his vision began do get darker then he passed out.
