Dawn woke him as the morning light slipped beneath his slitted eyes, bringing him out of his dreams and into the day again. Abra chittered under his breath, lifting one hand to rub his eyes as the light made them sting, covering them as he let them adjust.

Morning already? he thought to himself. The little Pokemon shook his head, pulling his eyes open past the slight slit that they normally resided at, taking a little look around from his makeshift bed under a tree.

Aided by his psychic powers, Abra noticed slight movements in the distance, soft stirrings in the long grass between the trees. Bug Pokemon, he thought to himself, and noted their position so that he might avoid them. A Rattatta in the distance was digging around for nuts, and other foods, and there was a Pidgey making its way through the branches above. That was all he could see, and all he could sense with his abilities.

Normal enough, Abra thought to himself as he closed his eyes again.

For most Pokemon, this would make them blind. Not a psychic type like him. While his abilities were rudimentary in comparison to what he might one day evolve into, or some of the other psychic types out there, it was more than enough to allow him to sense things around him. At least, it was enough as long as he had the chance to focus to do it; he'd been reminded that his senses were easy enough to fool if he didn't take the time to keep them focused when a Beedrill had nearly gotten him during one of his forays out for some berries. Only a quick teleport had gotten him out of range of its stingers and kept him from having to deal with the bug's venom.

At least today he could just enjoy himself at home. Abra pulled himself to his feet, walking slowly around the base of the tree. He kept his movements slow, his motions smooth, and his hands on the tree trunk as he walked, little chitters escaping his mouth in subconscious mutters. Fingers brushed over the rough trunk, as he felt for the little -

Ah, there it was. Abra's lips turned up in a small smile as he ducked down, sliding under a high root and into the small open area beneath the tree. It was low enough that he had to hunch forward a little bit, but it was still roomier than most dens under trees. Most of those wouldn't have had enough room for him, but this one did, if only just barely.

He'd been lucky to find this tree. It wasn't big enough for a real den, not in the way that some of the rodents and birds used them, but it was big enough for him to store food in, and to store little knick-knacks in, so that they were out of the way, hidden. Since he'd found this tree and claimed it for his own, there hadn't been any problems with keeping himself fed, and he only needed to go out and find food once a week rather than every day, since nobody stole his food anymore. It had made things remarkably easier for him.

Bending over far enough for his hands to almost touch the ground, Abra made his way through the small tunnels that led to the different chambers under the tree. It was comfortable down here for him; there was no light trying to find its way into his eyes, and he didn't have to keep them clenched in order to keep from getting a headache from the brightness. The dirt around him was a little bit annoying, as he was a very clean Abra and didn't like to get messy, but it was one of the only trade-offs for having something like this. And for all that he didn't like the dirt, it was a pretty minor one, one that he was willing to live with.

Down here, Abra needed to use his hands to find his way around, feeling his way along the tunnel. His psychic powers picked up living things well enough, but down here, half of the roots were dead, and after braining himself on them several times, he'd gotten into the habit of finding his way with his hands instead of his senses alone. He brushed his fingers along the tunnel walls, and along the roof, ducking down and moving to the side when he felt roots or obstacles that he couldn't sense.

Eventually he made his way to what he called the Berry Room. His smile grew as the smell of ripe berries overpowered the scent of deep earth, and he fumbled around until his hands rested on top of some of the berries. Mmmm, berries, he thought to himself, grinning as he picked two of them up.

They were big, the two of them enough to fill up his palm on their own. Rolling them around against his fingers, Abra eventually determined that they were still good enough to eat. They hadn't ripened so much that they'd be too soft and squishy for him to enjoy, and they were more than ripe enough to be sweet enough to be delicious. A little rumble sounded from his stomach, and Abra chittered again, giggling a bit to himself. Alright, alright, he told his stomach. I'll feed you now, don't worry.

But first, he was going to get back outside. As comfortable as the dark tunnels were to his sensitive eyes, they were not comfortable to the rest of his body, and if he was going to eat, he was going to be comfortable.

Cupping the berries to his chest, Abra turned around, feeling his way along with one hand this time. It was a little bit harder this way, and he bumped his head against one of the roots on the way out, but it wasn't too bad a bump, and he ignored it after the initial impact.

He didn't need to open his eyes to realize he'd reached the end of the tunnel. Light coming through the branches was almost a slap in the face after time in the dark, and Abra hummed in annoyance at the feeling. Pulling himself out of the hole quickly, he slipped around the tree, moving back to the spot he'd slept at. The roots curved around just right there, and made a little indentation, a little cup of sorts where he could lean back and be at ease.

Sliding himself into the little alcove, Abra indulged himself with another smile, looking down at the berries in his hands, letting his eyes open slightly again to be able to look at them. They were a comforting red and blue color, and he chittered happily as he nibbled on them, taking little bites out of one, then the other, getting a good taste of one before taking a bite out of the other.

A good breakfast, he thought to himself.

Just as he finished the berries, he heard a sound in the distance. It was a quick sound, a crack-snap of a sound. And most importantly, it wasn't all that far away.

Abra floated himself up a little bit from the tree. Not far, not wanting to get himself seen by anything that was moving around, but just a bit, in preparation in case he needed to run away. Teleportation was good, but it took a lot of energy to do it right away, and he was still waking up. It would be better if he could just float into the tree and hide; that way he didn't have to try and find his way back again to get his other berries and everything else down under the tree.

A few seconds went by before the sound repeated itself. Another crack-snap. The sound of a branch breaking, he realized; there must be something around that doesn't know how to be quiet.

Or just doesn't care, he thought to himself. Gulping a bit at that thought, Abra floated up a little higher, putting himself on one of the lower branches of the tree. Leaning back against the trunk, he made himself relax, take a few deep breaths.

When he felt that he was calm enough, he extended his senses again, keeping his eyes shut. If it was moving, then it had to be living, and if it was living, then he didn't need to see it to know where it was.

Abra's psychic senses pushed out in a wobbling circle from the tree, expanding over the grasses and the branches and the space between, searching for anything that was moving around. He ignored the Pidgeys and the Rattattas that he had noticed earlier, as they were not big enough to be making the sounds that he was hearing; no, it had to be something at least the size of an Ivysaur or something, if not bigger.

And if it was something that big, then it was not from around here. Abra had lived in the area for a while, and while he'd seen some strange Pokemon here and there, he had never seen anything that was that big. This place was a habitat for smaller Pokemon, weaker ones; the bigger ones were further off in the wilds, away from human settlements. Probably because they didn't feel it was worth sticking around an area where humans were, where humans made things so much more complicated.

That brought another thought to Abra's mind, one that shook his concentration for a moment. Could the sounds be made by a human? Abra wasn't sure. He had never really seen one, nor gone near them the few times that he had sensed them coming around the forest, so he didn't know what they sounded or looked like. But it was possible, considering that this forest wasn't all that far from one of the human places. It wouldn't be a far trip for one of them to come here, and if they didn't know what the woods were like, or didn't care about being heard from a mile away, they would easily make this much noise.

The more he thought about it, the more that he believed that it had to be a human. It made sense, more sense than the idea of a bigger Pokemon traveling out of its habitat and being so loud here did. In fact, if it was a human out there...

THERE! Abra nearly jumped as his senses found the source of the noise. It was definitely a human - he remembered what humans felt like before - and it was moving very quickly through the forest. It seemed...panicked, Abra realized, and as the human got closer, he could see why. Three Beedrills were following it through the forest, chasing it from high up in the trees.

He thought that the human would pull out a poke'ball and deal with them, but to his surprise, the human didn't do anything of the sort. It just kept running, and - from what he could sense - screaming as it kept running from side to side to avoid being caught in the stinging dives of the bug Pokemon.

The next human scream almost made him fall off of his branch, because he actually heard it from where he was. Putting a hand to his chest to calm himself down, Abra stood up on the branch and turned to look around the trunk, slowly opening his eyes again.

That's a human? he thought to himself as he caught sight of it. It was pale, with a dark set of long fur on top of its head. Two bulges in the chest swayed side to side as it ran forward, kind of like a pregnant Kangaskhan that he had seen a trainer use a while back, and it had a pack on her back that was just about ready to fall off. It looks...so different.

As they got closer to his tree, the human finally stopped running. It grabbed the pack on its back, and pulled it off, holding it in both hands as it turned to face the Beedrill.

As one, all three Beedrill dive bombed her, the stingers on their rear ends pointing down at her, and the stingers on their arms at the ready if the former failed. Abra winced; the power of a Beedrill's poison sting was devastating to most of the Pokemon in this forest; he could only imagine how a human would feel if they were hit with it.

To his surprise, the human not only didn't run away, but actually attacked back. As soon as the Beedrill were close enough, it swung its pack around in an arc, hitting the Beedrill at one end of the group, and swinging it into the other two. The impact was enough to send all three flying into another tree, slamming into it one by one and slumping to the ground. The human nodded once, and then turned, walking off.

Abra stared as it walked off, and almost unconsciously walked down the branch it was on, fascinated by the human. It had taken out three Beedrill without the help of another Pokemon...but hadn't caught them? That was very strange; the only humans that came here seemed to want to catch the weaker Pokemon here for some reason.

The branch creaked as he hit the mid-point of it, and Abra froze in place, a frustrated hum slipping from his lips before he could stop himself.

He already knew that the human had heard him; it had turned to look up at him as soon as he'd made the branch creek. It looked almost surprised, staring up at him, but not the way that it had stared at the Beedrill. No fear, not this time. In fact, from what he could sense, there was almost...glee?

The human moved faster than he thought, grabbing something at its belt and throwing it. Abra only had the chance to see a red and white blur before it hit him in the head, hard enough to knock him right off the branch.

AAAAAAH! he shouted, bracing himself for impact.

An impact that never came, as he felt his body shift. It seemed to change, going from solid to weightless, from flesh to energy. He barely had the time to understand that he was no longer in a physical form before he was sucked into the thing that had knocked him off of the branch.

Despite being pulled into a spherical form of light and energy, Abra could still 'see' what was around him. It wasn't quite sight, of course, but it was still something. He was surrounded by panels inside of a ball, panels that were pushing at him, reflecting the light of his new form back at itself to keep it concentrated in one single, smaller ball in the center. Everything around him felt like it was a massive weight, holding him in place.

And then, he felt it increase, pulsing around him, like it was trying to trap him in the ball for good.

No...no no no, Abra thought to himself. You're not catching me!

Abra threw himself against the pressure building around him. He'd heard about this. This was the poke'ball that Pokemon trainers used to catch and hold Pokemon, and now it was trying to catch him. Well, he wasn't going to let that happen.

Throwing all of his psychic powers against the ball around him, he felt the pressure waver...then fall back, unable to maintain the hold it had over him. Abra grunted, putting everything that he had into it...

Before the ball opened again, letting him come out. As soon as he fell back out of the ball, his body returned, light became flesh, and he felt his weight and form return. The red and white poke'ball lay at his side, spent and useless, the two halves laying with their openings facing the ground.

Rubbing his head, Abra turned with more than a little annoyance towards the human. It stared at him with a shocked look on its face, as though it couldn't believe that he had broken out of the poke'ball before it sealed him in.

Why did you do that? Abra asked. I wasn't bothering you.

The human's eyes went wide, and it slumped down on the ground. He noticed that it wasn't wearing the pants that he saw most trainers wearing, but instead something that only went down to the upper half of its legs. There was an incidental flicker of something beneath that piece of...what did humans call it? Clothing? Yes, there was something beneath that clothing, but Abra wasn't paying attention to that. What did you do that for? he asked again.

"You...you can talk?"

He blinked. Of course...You're talking too, so why does it surprise you I can?

"But...you're a Pokemon. I'm a human, so of course I can talk, but I've never heard of a Pokemon who could," it said. It had fallen on its rear, leaning back on its hands, staring at him. "How can you do that? Did you go through some experiment, or have something happen to you, or -"

I'm just a psychic Pokemon. We can all speak through telepathy, Abra answered. He rubbed his head. Already there was a bruise forming from the poke'ball hitting him there, and it was giving him a headache. But please...can you answer my question? I just want to know why you threw that poke'ball at me. If you wanted a Pokemon, there were three good Beedrill that you just knocked out, and wouldn't have fought it.

It looked around Abra, back towards the pile of bug Pokemon. Shaking its head a few times, the human slowly pulled itself to its feet. "You think that I want to start with them? They're weak, and they're...annoying. Creepy."

I can't argue with that, Abra admitted. But then, why did you come here? It's almost all bugs.

It looked past him again, then around the little clearing between the trees that they stood in. The human seemed to have a hard time coming up with something to say, but Abra didn't push her. He supposed that this was a little bit strange. Admittedly, he'd never had contact with humans before, but there were times when he'd heard from some captured Pokemon that came through the forest; they had never said anything about talking to their trainers before.

Eventually, it looked back at him. "I...I am a new Pokemon trainer."

He nodded. That had seemed somewhat obvious, considering she'd thrown a poke'ball at his head.

It blushed as it realized just obvious that was. "I...yeah, you already figured that out." It shook its head. "Obvious. Yeah, what am I thinking?"

Please, continue.

"Right, right." It put a hand to its chin. "How do I begin?"

At the beginning.

It blushed further, its face quite red underneath the black fur on its head. "You really don't know how hard this is do you?" Abra shrugged, and it rolled its eyes. "Anyway, I'm a new trainer. And I don't have my first Pokemon yet."

Abra must have looked more surprised than he thought, because the human sighed. "Look, I know that most of us get Pokemon when we start, but I didn't like any of the Pokemon that the professor was offering me. I wanted to get something that was mine, just mine."

That was understandable enough, Abra supposed. If someone was actually going to be traveling the world, why not have companions that you picked from the beginning, instead of having to deal with the one that someone else handed to you? It was only sensible, after all.

So why not capture the Beedrills, again?

"Because I don't want to start with bug Pokemon. They're gross, and they're not the kind of Pokemon that I really want." The human looked down at him, and it pointed at him. "I wanted Pokemon like you. Psychic types. They're awesome, you know?"

Like me? Abra asked, surprised enough to blink his eyes a few times.

"Yeah, like you." The human shook its head, going over to the tree and sitting down. It looked at him, gesturing at him. "I've been studying psychic types for a long time, and they're some of the strongest Pokemon in the entire world. I mean, they don't have the same kind of legendary status that some of the super rare Pokemon have, yeah, but as long as we're talking about the Pokemon that anyone could have, psychic types are the strongest and the best that you can get.

"They're able to take on the most different types without having their attacks weakened; they can use so many different special attacks; and they're so strong that they can even recover if someone manages to hit them. I don't know why more Pokemon trainers don't use the psychic types."

Abra chittered under his breath, and the human looked at him, its eyes narrowing. "What's that sound supposed to mean?"

Sorry. I can't speak out loud very well, Abra said. It's me laughing.

"Was what I said that funny?"

No, but it was really flattering, Abra said. He floated himself off of the ground, levitating the short distance over to the tree. Lowering himself onto one of the roots that weren't all that far from the human, he explained. Everything you're telling me just makes me chuckle because I never heard anyone talk about psychic types like that. I mean, yeah, I hear some stuff about how they need to use bugs against us -

"Which are no good if you have the right moves," the human pointed out.

If you say so. Abra shrugged. But my point is, I never hear humans or any of the other Pokemon going on like you just did. He chittered again. I never heard any humans before, actually. You are the first one I've gotten close enough to see, instead of just sensing them further away.

"Sensing?" The human blinked. "How far away can you sense?"

I don't know. I never tried to measure. But I did sense you when you were still far enough away for me to not hear your screaming. And I have very good hearing.

The human seemed to be surprised at that. At least, the way it opened its eyes so wide looked like it was surprised. It might have meant something else when it came to humans than it did with Pokemon, after all, though the human seemed to have the other symptoms of surprise.

It didn't say anything, though, merely looking down at its lap. It was quiet, too, so much so that Abra wondered if he had somehow offended the human. If that was the case, he figured he should probably say nothing, just wait and see if the human would tell him what was going on.

Eventually, the human looked up at him again. "Do you think there are any other psychic types in the forest?" it asked.

Abra shrugged. I don't think so. At least, none that I've seen.

"How -"

I would have felt that, considering how much I used to travel around, he said. He crossed his arms. There's a thing that psychic types do. There's a presence to them, kind of a 'push' that they let off that other psychic types can sense. It's very hard to miss, even when I'm not looking around for them. There used to be a couple on the south side of the forest, but that was a while ago. They disappeared a few weeks back. Maybe they were captured by some trainers or something. If they did, those trainers got a couple of Butterfrees to their name now.

It shuddered at the thought, and Abra couldn't help letting out another chitter. I know that I have problems with bug types, but you're just being funny now.

"I can't help it. They're just so gross, you know?"

Well, not really, but he nodded anyway.

The human sighed, getting to its feet. "I..." It started to say something, then shook its head. "Never mind. I'm sorry about hitting you in the head with that poke'ball, little Abra."

Abra. The human cocked its head to the side. I'm just named Abra. Not little Abra.

It giggled. "Right, right. Abra, then, I'm sorry."

Abra nodded, but he couldn't help but be a little curious about what the human wasn't telling him. He cocked his head as he looked at it, extending his psychic senses forward again. It didn't take much work to look in the human's mind, even less work than it took to look inside most Pokemon minds as a matter of fact, and it took him only a second to find out what the human was going to ask him.

You wanted me to come with you? Abra asked, the shock coming through in his telepathy.

The human had only just started to turn when he'd spoken up, and it - she, he realized from the contact with her mind; this was a female human - looked at him in surprise. "How did you know that?"

He looked at her with a dead stare, and she slapped her palm against her forehead. "Psychic type. Right. Right." She shook her head a few times. "I was going to ask you if you wanted to come along, but after all of that, I don't think it would be right. I mean, I'd really like to bring you along, see what happens with you as my first Pokemon, but I don't think that you would want to come along. Sorry, forget I asked about it."

Yeah, it is a little...it is a little silly, isn't it? Abra said with a shake of his head. After all, he didn't want to leave his tree. Didn't want to leave his food, his forest, and everything else. Could I ask you something before you go?

"Sure."

What's your name? Abra shrugged his shoulders when she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. I could have found it in your mind, but I didn't want to push too much in there. It felt, well, rude.

"And it wasn't rude to just poke around in there in the first place?" she asked with a small smile.

Despite his own developing blush, Abra shrugged. Please? I'd like to remember the name of the first human that came through here that talked to me. And it might be nice to have a name for the story when I tell other Pokemon about getting hit in the head with a poke'ball like that.

She smiled, nodding her head. "I can understand that." She walked back over to him, holding out her hand. "The name's Abby. Give me a few years, and eventually every Pokemon out there will know it as the name of the mistress of psychic Pokemon."

Abby. Abra nodded his head as he reached out, taking her hand. She squeezed his hand, and he squeezed back as much as his own lesser muscles would allow. I'll remember the name.

"You better." Giving him another smile and chuckle, she shouldered her bag again and turned back the way she came. "Maybe I'll see you sometime again, Abra. Goodbye!" she shouted over her shoulder as she jogged off.

He stood rooted to the spot, waving at her as she gradually disappeared from his eyesight, then continued to just sense her for a while, letting her stay in his mind's eye until she disappeared from that as well. Abra sighed as she completely disappeared from his awareness, and slid back down against the tree.

It was for the best that he stay here, even if there was some small temptation to go along with her out of the forest. There were so many strange things out there, so many Pokemon that were bigger, stronger, and tougher than he was. It was better for Abby to keep traveling and find a better psychic Pokemon than him as her starter. After all, the most he could do aside from teleport was a little telekinesis, and sometimes a Psywave. Not much use as a starter Pokemon, really, not compared to some of them.

He shuddered at the thought of some of the ones that he'd seen and heard through the forest before. The trainers that came out here always trounced the Pokemon around here with their creatures. From the fire-breathing Charizards he'd seen down to the whirlwind blowing Pidgeottos, they wreaked havoc whenever they came around. He'd long since learned to hide as they came around, rather than be out in the open. It was the last reason that he had picked out this tree as his home. In a pinch, it worked very well as a hiding place, because none of the trainers ever bothered to look down holes for Pokemon battles. They always stuck to the long grass, and only the idiots in the forest - or the very young, though they weren't incompatible - bothered going out there when the humans were around.

Still, Abra thought, it would have been nice to see what else there was outside of the forest. He'd traveled from one end to the other in the forest, seeing the different places there were to see while he was looking for a place to settle down, and he'd started to get a little too accustomed to the place. There were no surprises anymore, and while he usually liked that, he found himself getting a little too deep into a routine. For an Abra like him...well, it was a bad thing to get too far into routine. It made it harder to teleport fast when he needed to, and he couldn't react to surprises so fast.

Barely noticing it, he found his head had turned towards where Abby had run off. It wouldn't take much effort to catch up to her before she got out of the forest, he supposed. And maybe she would like a little company instead of having to walk on her own.

I can't believe I'm doing this, Abra muttered under his breath. There was no point in doing this; it was just going to make things more difficult, make it harder to settle back down to normal after he walked her to the edge of the forest. It was a bad idea all around.

Yet, he couldn't help but smile as he focused his psychic energies together, and teleported.

#

Abra wobbled back and forth on the tree branch he appeared on, his arms windmilling as he desperately tried to keep from losing his footing and plummeting down the dozen or so feet to the forest floor. The teleportation hadn't gone quite the way that it was supposed to, and had ended up putting him on top of a tree branch rather than on the forest floor. Almost immediately he'd been fighting for his balance, and he was only just now getting it back from the forces of gravity.

After nearly half a minute of wobbling back and forth and having his arms and legs desperately scrabbling for a sense of balance, Abra managed to center himself on the branch. Lowering himself carefully, he sat down on it, rubbing his forehead and humming in an annoyed tone. I need to get back in the habit of teleporting more; if that had been something important, I'd have been screwed, he thought to himself.

But at least he had covered enough ground to get ahead of Abby. He could just sense her at the edge of his awareness, coming towards him. She was walking, so at least she hadn't run into anything else that was trying to attack her. Maybe the Beedrills that had pestered her had passed on the warning to some of the other Pokemon in the forest. Beedrills weren't the most personable Pokemon at the best of times, but they had a modicum of decency towards other Pokemon that treated them with some respect.

Then again, maybe she was just lucky, or knew how to keep from attracting attention most of the time. He didn't really know anything about her, after all; there were lots of things that might be the truth.

Figuring he might as well do something useful while he waited, Abra closed his eyes and focused his attention on the living things around him. It was always interesting to see what else was around him in the forest, and it was good exercise for his powers as well, keeping him from letting them atrophy. Admittedly, his teleportation was out of practice, but his sensing had seldom been stronger, at least not that he could recall.

Spilling his energy around his body, Abra gradually extended it further and further out from himself. For a moment, he lost track of where Abby was, since he'd pulled his senses in close before starting to expand it in a circle, but he soon caught track of her again.

Along with her, he could sense more than a few other Pokemon. He smiled to himself as he felt the Metapods a few trees over, their calming thoughts making him calm by extension; a couple of Meowths running together towards a little den elsewhere in the forest made him blush, considering their thoughts and purposes; even the passing of a grumpy male Nidoran on the ground below made him chitter a bit. It was the forest, all of the forest around him, and when he felt it like this, it was like he felt he was more a part of it. He settled back on the branch, getting a little more comfortable -

WHAP!

A sudden blow from behind caught him just below the neck, sending him flying forward off of the branch. It caught him completely by surprise, and he had no chance to stop himself from falling down and hitting the ground. Face. First.

Abra groaned at the impact, pulling his head out of the imprint he'd left in the ground. Owwww that hurt, he thought, rubbing his nose as he hmmmmed in a low, almost growling tone. Who did that?

Rough snorting from the branch above got him to turn around, and he found himself looking up at a very bouncy Mankey. He didn't know this one, hadn't seen him before, but he knew that this one had to have been really fast to get around Abra sensing him. The Mankey bounced up and down on the branch, raising its fists and punching air a few times before throwing them above its head, like it had won some great fight or something.

Ha ha, very funny, Abra thought in its direction. He pulled himself to his feet, dusting off his chest before going back to rubbing his nose. Oww....do you know how bad that hurts?

The Mankey snorted at him, dropping down to the forest floor and raising its fists again. It punched in his direction a few times, and Abra blinked in surprise. What? No no, I'm not fighting you.

It nodded, and he shook his head. It nodded again, and he shook his head again.

This repeated more than a few times before the Mankey finally lost patience. Without any visual warning - and only the slightest on Abra's 'radar' - it suddenly jumped forward, leg sweeping out in a quick Low Kick. Abra closed his eyes again, a quick teleport the only thing keeping him from getting a Mankey foot in his face.

He appeared behind the fighting monkey, and it skidded along the forest floor a few feet before turning to face him again. It huffed and puffed, even as Abra put his hands up, backing up. I don't want to fight. Please, you win, I don't want to-

CRACK!

The Mankey moved so fast! It was only luck that the monkey's fist collided with the tree behind Abra rather than his face, and it would have gotten him with a follow-up kick if he hadn't teleported again, coming out of the teleport up in the trees again, promptly windmilling once more as gravity yanked his balance away.

Going through the familiar dance of getting his balance, he lost sight of the Mankey. He panted softly, turning his head this way, that way; there was no visual sign of the monkey, but it was still around here...somewhere. It was moving too fast for him to 'see' it properly with his psychic powers, but he knew it was still out there.

Even the sound of the fighting Pokemon moving around didn't give away where it was. As soon as one branch creaked, it had jumped off and moved to another spot. Even spinning in place, tracking by sound, sight, and second sight, Abra was only able to track where the Mankey had been, rather than where he was.

Instinct, more than anything else, saved him from the Mankey's surprise attack from above. He leaped back from the branch, his powers keeping him aloft as he moved to another tree, and the Mankey hit the branch he'd been on with a kick powerful enough to snap half of the branch off of the tree. The fighting type perched on the remains of the branch, glaring at him, punching its fists together as it chattered at him.

Abra panted softly, shaking his head. He didn't want to fight, but it was getting more and more obvious that the Mankey wasn't going to stop until either it won, or he did. And if this kept going, the Mankey could easily drop a branch on Abby when she passed by. It wouldn't be long until she got here, either; he could feel her getting closer and closer, and he had maybe a minute or two before she arrived.

He'd have to end this quickly, much as he hated fighting.

Alright. You want a fight? Abra said, his eyes closing and tightening. You'll get one.

His opponent almost seemed happy about that, but Abra ignored the sudden change in pitch in the Mankey's growls and chatters. He held up his hands, focusing his psychic powers in the small circle formed between his fingers. A slight light started to form-

-only to be interrupted as the Mankey leaped at him. There was enough forewarning to teleport again, but it interrupted his move, forcing him to start over. At least this time he had teleported to the flat ground, instead of onto another tree branch.

The Mankey had just enough time to look down at him before Abra had his hands pointed up at the fighter again. It looked at him with surprise, and if this had been another time, Abra might have smiled a bit at the puzzled look on the monkey Pokemon's face. It was so puzzled, wondering how things had changed so quickly. Well, he thought to himself. You shouldn't have picked on someone that didn't want a fight.

With the energy between his hands fully charged, he let it loose. A powerful Psywave blasted out of the circle, and flew through the air directly at the Mankey.

It tried to dodge, but it was futile; the Psywave adjusted its direction, flying after the Mankey into another branch. The multi-colored waves of light hit the fighting type Pokemon as he turned around, catching him right in the face and sending him flying right off the branch, landing on his back on the ground a second or two later.

Abra panted softly as he lowered his hands. Psywave always took up a great deal more energy than he'd like, but it was the only real attack that he had besides picking stuff up and throwing them at an enemy. Besides, that wouldn't have done anywhere like the amount of damage a good Psywave did.

Though he was tempted to just walk off and leave the Mankey where he was, Abra couldn't make himself do it. It just seemed wrong to leave someone injured like that, even if they were the one that had started the whole thing. He sighed, shaking his head at his own soft heart as he walked over to the Mankey.

Thankfully, the monkey Pokemon was unconscious, laying on its back with eyes half closed and spinning. Wonder if it was the attack or the fall that did that? Abra muttered to himself, his pointed fingers poking the Pokemon a few times just to make sure that it was fully unconscious. Thankfully, it was, so he let his fingers roam over the rest of the fighter, checking to make sure that there were no broken bones, nothing that would make it harder for him to get home when he finally woke up.

A thorough examination revealed that there was nothing to be worried about. The Mankey was pretty much unharmed, as far as after-battle consequences went. The worst that he'd probably have to deal with was a lump on the head, and that was just from the fall more than anything else.

It was a relief, though. Abra didn't want to hurt people, didn't like getting into fights over nothing. He was pretty sure it had something to do with being a psychic type; even the Butterfrees that he'd seen didn't like to fight if they didn't have to, or if there wasn't a reason. They kind of saw it as a little pointless, same as he did. There were other things that they could be doing, other important things that needed attention.

Shaking his head, Abra reached down and grabbed the Mankey by the legs. It wasn't too heavy, thankfully, so he could drag it without a problem. He tugged his unconscious opponent across the road, off of it, so that the Mankey wouldn't be so visible to other people and Pokemon going through the forest. No need for the Mankey to get caught without a chance to defend himself.

Just as he was laying a few leaves over the fighting type, he heard a footstep behind him, as well as a click of a poke'ball opening. Abra's eyes opened slightly, and immediately reacted with a teleport, shooting up into the tree above him.

He looked down to see that the poke'ball had hit the tree trunk near where he was standing, and fallen to the ground, still half open. Not broken or useless the way that he'd broken out of had been, but definitely ineffective. He looked where the poke'ball had been thrown from-

-and saw a steaming Abby. Abra shook his head at the sight of the annoyed human. Are you just going to throw poke'balls at every Abra and psychic type you find? he asked her.

"Oh, Abra!" She went bright red, rubbing her forehead. "I, uh, didn't know that was you. Sorry."

It's alright, he said with a shrug of his shoulders. Abra floated himself down to the ground, and slowly reached down to the poke'ball by the tree. Closing it while being very careful not to touch anything that looked important, he carried it over to her. You might want to look more carefully at what you're throwing these at, though. If you miss, or don't get the Pokemon inside, you're going to have something very irritated at you.

"Yeah, I...found that out a few days ago." She rubbed the back of her head embarrassedly with one hand while taking the poke'ball with the other. As she put it on her waist, along with a collection of others, she cocked her head to the side. "So, why are you up here? I thought you were going to be staying back at your part of the forest."

Yeah...about that. Abra looked down, kicking the dirt a bit. I, uh, thought I might walk you to the edge of the forest. Just to make sure that you didn't have to deal with Beedrills alone again, or anything like that. And I thought you might like the company.

She smiled, and Abra couldn't help blushing just a bit. What?

"Oh, you're just being kinda cute," Abby said. "By the by." She pointed towards the buried Mankey. "What were you doing over there? Hiding something?"

Uh....

What was it about this human that made him so tongue-tied? He'd never been this shy before...at least, not in front of males. Females always made him at least a little tongue-tied, but why like this? Why now? He shook his head, and explained the situation. How the Mankey had come out of nowhere to ambush him, and how the fight had gone despite his attempts to make the Mankey stop fighting before he'd knocked him out.

To his surprise, she not only listened, but seemed interested in the whole thing. She seemed rather surprised when he mentioned the Psywave, though, actually holding up her hands and stopping him. "Wait, wait, wait," she said. "You said that you used Psywave on the Mankey?"

He nodded, but she only shook her head. "Are you sure that's what you used? Not something else?"

I'm sure. Why?

"Because I don't think that Abra's learn that move before they evolve into Kadabra," Abby said. "I mean, I don't think I've heard of any of them doing that."

That's probably because most Abras level up as soon as they can, and evolve as soon as they reach the right level, Abra said. He sat down, leaning against the tree. I didn't. I'm perfectly happy with being an Abra, and I chose not to evolve. It was just his choice, really. Not any big reason; he was just comfortable as he was, and didn't see the need to change himself by evolving.

To his surprise, Abby suddenly lunged forward, grabbing him by the arms. His eyes opened again as he stared up at her smiling face, shocked at the giddiness that his statement had caused. "You chose not to evolve? What level are you? Do you know? What level are you?"

Um...

"Tell me, tell me, tell me!"

All right, all right! He groaned. Just stop shouting, please.

She blushed again, scooting back just as quickly as she had lunged forward, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment again as she realized what she'd done. "Heh...eh heh...sorry about that. I get excited really, really easily."

I noticed. Abra rubbed his arms where she'd grabbed him. Geez, that explained how she had dealt with the Beedrill so easily. She was strong. Anyway, I'm...Hmmm. He had to think about it for a second. I guess I'm level...20? 24? Somewhere in there, I think.

Once more, she stared at him, and he found himself blushing again, looking down at the ground. What? I don't like to fight, so I don't train as much as all of the other Pokemon that you probably-

"You are that high level?"

He froze, utterly still for a few seconds before slowly turning to her. Uh...high level?

"Yeah," she said, nodding.

But...I'm not.

"Yeah, you are."

I can't be. I mean, I hear about all the Pokemon that come through here with their trainers, and they curb stomp everything else around here. And the other Pokemon around here all fight more than I do. I can't be that high level.

"They curb stomp all the Pokemon around here because they're all heading towards the other end of the forest. They're heading towards the cave there that leads to the Plateau." Abby chuckled a little bit, then more, until she was laughing loud enough to scatter a few Pidgeys from the trees. "Oh god, you've been measuring yourself against all of THOSE Pokemon all this time?"

Why not? Abra asked. What's so funny? It was clear that he was missing something, and he didn't like missing things. It made him feel stupid. What's so funny? he repeated as Abby collapsed from laughter.

She kept laughing, and as she kept laughing, he just got redder and redder. This was just humiliating; why couldn't she just come out and tell him what was so funny instead of making him feel like he was an idiot for what he'd been doing?

Eventually, the laughter died down, and she was able to pull herself to her knees. She looked at him with a shaky smile, wiping her eyes before patting his arm. "I'm...I'm sorry, Abra. It's just..." She shook her head. "It's just, this is so close to the path most people take to the Indigo Plateau. You know, where the Elite Four and the Champion is. Only the strongest trainers come through here, with the strongest Pokemon. No wonder you were thinking that you didn't measure up; you've only seen the strongest Pokemon out there, instead of the ones that most trainers have.

"That explains why all of you guys have been getting beaten so bad, too. The stronger Pokemon are further along the path to the Elite Four, so the level difference for most of the Pokemon around here must be huge compared to the trained ones that are coming through. No wonder you were thinking that you were low level."

Abra had to sit down again to process this. They were on the road to the strongest Pokemon trainers out there? This was the way that the strongest trainers came through? He'd...he'd never thought about anything like that. All his life, he'd thought that they were just the same as a lot of Pokemon that were near a city, a place where the humans came to train early on in their careers rather than when they were getting ready to challenge the best.

But if the Pokemon trainers coming through here were going to fight the best of the best...What are most Pokemon trainers like, Abby? Abra asked. How strong are their Pokemon?

"Well..." She sat down beside him, shrugging. "It kind of varies. But if you're level 20, then you're 15 levels higher than the Pokemon that most people start with."

Surprise after surprise. Abra wasn't sure just how much more he could take. But if that was the truth, and coming from Abby, he felt that it was...then he would be stronger than almost anything that she had to deal with during her early times as a trainer. There was no reason to stay here out of fear. And he could...he could see the world, and break his routine, and...

"Are you okay, Abra?"

He looked up, seeing Abby looking at him with a little concern. He had been rather quiet for a while, he realized, lost in his own thoughts. Abra nodded his head at the trainer. I'm...I'm fine. I'm just kind of trying to absorb all of this. It's so weird, so strange, you know? She nodded at him. I mean, I always thought I was weak, always thought that I would be taken out so fast if I ever left the forest...and now you're telling me that I'm stronger than any of the other starting Pokemon that trainers usually get? I mean, it feels like it just couldn't be true.

"Well, trust me, it's true." She chuckled. "I would have liked to have you with me, but-"

Wait.

She blinked. Abra took a deep breath, then another, before asking, Is...that is, would you mind...if I actually did come with you?

The human looked at him in shock. Abra knew that he wasn't the most interesting Pokemon, even if he was stronger than the usual ones; there were probably a lot more interesting ones in the labs, or elsewhere in the wild. I know...probably not your first choice. And I'm an Abra, and I haven't evolved yet...but I'd really like to come with you and see the world...and find out what's out there. If you...if you want me.

He waited for her to respond, waiting to hear whether she would accept him. For a moment, there was nothing but silence, and he figured she was just waiting for a way to let him down gently. Abra braced himself, ready to just teleport after she turned him down.

Instead, he felt a finger under his chin, first just the light touch, then gently pushing his head upwards to look up at her face. Of course, with his eyes closed, it was only 'looking' through his mind's eye, but he could get the feeling and image of a smile for him on her face. "I'd love to have you come with me, Abra; I was hoping that you would do it since I saw you back at your tree." Abby smiled, patting his cheek. "Now, let me just get a poke'ball out-"

Uh, yeah, about that... Abra reached out, gently taking her hand before she could grab a poke'ball. Could we...just travel at first? I mean, I didn't like it in the ball earlier, and I would like to just have the chance to travel with you at first. Is...is that okay?

She looked confused, but slowly nodded. "I guess that can work. But if we go into cities, or places like that, we'll need to come up with a different sort of arrangement."

He understood that, nodding. She nodded back, and then patted his back. "Alright then. Off we go."

Abra fell into step beside her as they walked along the dirt path through the forest. It was rather strange to be following a human like this, but...he kind of liked it. And he liked the way that she made him feel about himself. Confident, strong...like he was a good Pokemon, rather than just the first stage to an evolution of something better.

#

They walked for a rather long time, and by the time that Abby picked a spot to make camp for the night, Abra was more than ready to just fall down and rest. He'd never imagined that humans spent so much of their day walking, and as it was, his head was starting to hurt from lack of sleep. I'm going to need to re-learn how to hypnotize myself to sleep walk, he thought to himself. Not a pleasant idea, but it was the only way he was going to get the sixteen hours of rest he needed to be at his peak.

Abby put down two sleeping bags, laying them out on the ground. She chuckled when he looked at her in confusion, saying, "I didn't always travel alone. And besides, with two sleeping bags, I can use one as a mattress and one as a blanket. But now I have something to share with a friend, so good thing I brought two, huh?"

Yeah, I guess so, Abra said as he sat down on the strange thing. It was surprisingly soft, not to mention smooth, and he took a few moments to just enjoy the feeling of it against his hands, chittering softly to himself as he stroked it again and again.

"Don't tell me that you're ticklish," Abby said with a chuckle.

Ticklish? he asked, looking at her with his eyebrows raised. Why would you think something that silly?

"Well, you were making that laughing sound again."

That wasn't the laughing sound. That was my...I guess you could call it my happy sound.

"Sounded the same to me. Sorry." She shrugged, sitting down on her own sleeping bag.

Abra went back to stroking the sleeping bag, exploring the strange thing. It was very odd; it had a metallic thing on the side, and when he used his psychic powers to pull on it, it seemed to separate the two halves of the sleeping bag. When he pulled it up, it sealed it back up again. Fascinating, he thought to himself as he dragged it up and down, up and down, almost giggling to himself at the way it worked.

As he played with it, he was almost uncomfortably aware of the way that Abby was looking at him. He tried to ignore it at first, but her stare just didn't stop. It was so focused, so intense, that he eventually had to stop playing with the metal strip and turn to look at her in return. Um...am I doing something wrong? he asked.

"Hmm?" Abby asked, blinking. "Oh, sorry. No, you're not doing...doing anything wrong." She blushed almost as bright as the setting sun on the horizon. "Sorry, forget I was staring at you."

Um...why were you staring at me, though? he asked. I mean, it was a little weird, but it only bothered me because I didn't know why you were staring at me.

"Oh, it's not important-"

Come on, we're traveling together now. Abra turned to face her, sitting with his feet pressed together, and his hands on his legs. I...I'd like to know, if you don't mind telling me, that is to say.

Abby looked back at him, her face still bright red. "I..." She sighed, and leaned back on her sleeping bag. "Look. How much do you know about humans, and what...what they do in private?"

Nothing, Abra admitted. Remember, you're the first one I've seen the whole time that I've been around here.

"Oh boy, I don't get the easy ones, do I?" Abby sighed, shaking her head again, rubbing her forehead as she seemed to gather her thoughts. Then her eyes lit up, sitting up. "Alright, this is probably the simplest way, but I MIGHT faint out of embarrassment here."

_Well, if it's that embarrassing-_Abra started to say.

"No, no, I think you should know, particularly if we're going to spending very much time together," Abby insisted. "However, you...you can't tell anyone what you see in my head, okay?"

I don't tell anyone what I see in anyone's head, Abra said. It's one of the rudest thing that a psychic type can do.

"Alright...I'm trusting you, remember." Abby leaned forward a bit, looking him in the...well, at his eyelids. "Now, just look in there, and try and see what I'm thinking on the surface, alright? I think it should be all that you need to know."

As much as he was embarrassed to admit it, Abra was getting more and more curious the more that Abby talked about this private act. He had no idea what the human could be talking about, but it was obviously something that either embarrassed the human, or was something that she really enjoyed. She had started sweating, he noticed; not enough to stink, but it was kind of a nervous sweat, like she was worried about what he'd see or something.

For a moment, he hesitated, not wanting to ruin his new friendship with Abby, but as she kept looking at him insistently, Abra finally dived into her mind.

For once, he didn't have to look around for what he needed to find. Abby had the topic right at the front of her mind, and it was one of the most explicit, shocking things that he had ever seen.

Arranged in front of him was...well, the only thing he could think of to describe it to was the way a reflection worked in a river, shattered into many different pieces. Except here, each reflection shard was its own image, reflecting different things. About half of them were humans only, but others had different Pokemon in them, different species and types, all with the humans...and doing the same things as the humans.

It wasn't...wrong in his mind, but it was very strange. He watched as humans put their genitals together the way that Pokemon did, almost looking embarrassed as they did in some cases, then watched as both male and female humans did the same thing with Pokemon, mating with them. He could sense beneath the images Abby's thoughts, thoughts of wanting...

He fell out of her mind with a blush, going back to himself. You...want to do...do THAT...with me? he asked, his normally golden brown skin turning redder than he could ever remember it being before.

She nodded, her blush matching his as she pointed downwards. "Um...and I think you kind of want it too. Unless I'm making another mistake, and that's not your, erm...cock poking out."

My... Abra paused, his head slowly turning to look downwards.

What he saw made his already considerable blush much worse, as he saw that he had become erect. His shaft, normally kept out of sight by several pieces of skin, had come out. It was probably due to what he saw in her mind, as well as the feelings that she had about the different moving images inside of her thoughts. Yet, he hadn't expected it to 'rise to the occasion' quite so quickly as it had.

His cock was fairly thick, as Abra cocks went, and it was a little wider than some of the cocks that he had seen the humans using in Abby's thoughts. Not quite so long, perhaps, but definitely thicker. Abby looked at it, same as he did, and though Abra could hardly believe it, he thought that he saw her lick her lips, the way that some other Pokemon did when they were looking at a particularly delicious bit of food.

Before he could say anything, Abby moved off of her sleeping bag, crawling towards him on all fours. Her hands rested near his knees, her eyes locked on his cock for a few seconds before she looked away. Meeting his eyes, she blushed, and reached out, holding her hand just above his cock. "Um...I know this...I know this is weird...but..." She laughed nervously. "I...I'd like to do some things with you. Some of the things that you saw in my mind. Just tonight, if you don't want to do it anymore after, but...I'd really like to do a lot with you. May...May I, Abra?"

The thought of doing it with a human, of mating with someone that not only wasn't his species but wasn't a Pokemon, should have felt more strange than this. Certainly, it shouldn't have felt...appealing. It was as close as he could figure to a taboo as Pokemon would have about it.

Yet...

Yet he wanted it. Not just physically, though there was a great deal of that there - considering his lack of luck finding any Abras in the forest, and convincing any to stick around when he had found them outside it - but also emotionally. Abby was kind, he thought; she was even asking him permission, and hadn't tried to capture him with a poke'ball, instead choosing to allow him to come along with her willingly rather than as someone that was stuck in the ball. She was a good person...and could...could very easily be a good partner, he thought to himself.

All of this went through his mind in the space of a second, and the result was a small nod from him.

Abby's face lit up with glee as he nodded, and it took all of his self-control to keep from giggling a bit at the smile on her face. He would never have guessed that her wishes were this strong, even after seeing all of that in her mind.

With all of his self-control locked into keeping himself from laughing, though, there was nothing left to hold back his moan as she grabbed hold of his cock. Her hand was so soft, and warm, the fingers smooth and dexterous, much different than he had imagined fingers would feel on his shaft. His own were rougher, and less able to bend the way that hers were. Her hand gripped him gently, and slowly started to move up, and down his cock. It was a sensation so different from his own treatment of his cock, and he couldn't help but lean back, almost falling over. In fact, he would have fallen over if he hadn't thrown his arms out behind him.

She chuckled a bit at him, and he hmmmed in embarrassment. However, she never stopped stroking him, looking up at him with a smile on her face, licking her lips almost constantly as she looked at his shaft. There was so much hunger, and so much eagerness in her eyes, and Abra's psychic senses were almost overwhelmed with the sheer amount of lust that was pouring off of her, so much of it that it was starting to affect him as well, making his cock throb, bounce, twitch in response to her strokes.

"You really haven't had much attention for a while, have you, Abra?" Abby asked him, her hand squeezing around his base, drawing another buzzing hum from his lips. "Mmm, you're just going to explode when you reach your orgasm, aren't you? I hope that you can wait long enough...long enough to do it in my pussy," she said, pausing a bit as she said words that she never thought she'd say.

Her pussy. The second he thought about it, his attention was drawn away from his cock. Not much - there was no way he could not think about it with her talented fingers wrapped around it - but enough to focus a bit on her. Shivering in pleasure, Abra focused his energy, focused himself to look at her.

It was different to see her psychically now; she glowed with lust, with need, and the need burned hottest in two places. One of them was her chest, near where the heart was, and the other was down between her legs. As he focused on the latter spot, his senses told him how hot she was, how wet her slit was; she needed it, needed him so badly right now, her body craving it. He was amazed that she had managed to restrain herself this well. Abby was worthy of being a psychic herself, just from the sheer control of herself that she had.

But she could not go unrewarded. She should have a chance to get what she wanted, and soon. So, he started to reach out with his telekinesis -

OOOOOH! he moaned in their minds as he felt something altogether different. Something warm, wet, and much tighter than the grip of her hand, something even wetter and slick rubbing around the tip of his cock, teasing him and pushing him towards even more pleasure.

Looking down, his eyes widened almost to painful levels as he saw that her lips were wrapped around his cock, completely surrounding his shaft. He could hardly believe it, but Abby had pulled his entire cock into her mouth. It was so hot, so soft and slick inside, and the only reason he wasn't already bucking up against her like a Rattatta driven mad by heat was because her lips were pressed all the way to his base, and her body weight kept him from getting off of the ground.

It had been so long...so very long since he'd actually emptied himself, and he knew that if he didn't stop her now, she was going to make him blow in her mouth, and then they'd have to wait for him to do anything else. Much as he wanted to cum in her mouth - and oh dear heavens did he want to - he had to stop her now before he reached the point of no return.

With a grunt and a psychic heave, he managed to push her head back from his cock. She gasped as she was forced off of his cock, a little of her saliva forming a string between his cock and her lips. "Wha..."

I was...I was getting too close...and I didn't want you to go without, Abra said, panting softly as he looked down at her. Can...can you let me up, so I can give you your share of the pleasure?

She looked almost disappointed that she wasn't getting his cum in her mouth, but she chuckled and pulled back anyway. "Alright. But tomorrow, you're going to be giving me something to taste, okay?" She blushed. "Oh dear god, I can't believe I just said that out loud."

I can't believe I heard you think it first, Abra said, rubbing the back of his head. He looked over at her sleeping bag, gesturing to it. Shall we...um...on your bed?

"I think that'll work." Abby smiled, sitting down on it before slowly laying down, spreading her legs and lifting her skirt up enough to show off her panties. "Hehehe, I'll let you have the honors of actually undressing me, okay?"

He hmmmed in mixed arousal and embarrassment, getting down on his knees between her legs. The white fabric of her panties were mostly clean, but he could see a wet, clearer spot at the crotch. Even a gentle sniff carried the smell of her arousal to him, and Abra shuddered as his cock throbbed hard in need, his libido begging him to rip those off and just jump on her, almost like he would have done with a female of his own species.

But no. No, he told himself. He wouldn't just take her like that. Not after she had been so nice.

Instead, he lowered his hands to her underwear. It was a little hard for him to get a grip on it with just two fingers and a thumb on each hand, but he managed it. Tugging it down, he had to pull her legs back together, which hid her sex from him for a little bit before he pulled her underwear all the way off of her legs, setting it down to the side. Abby looked at him with a little giggle as he even folded it, and he shrugged with a nervous smile.

"You're so cute," she said quietly. "Now come on...don't make me wait anymore."

She spread her legs again, and this time there was nothing in the way to keep him from seeing her properly. Abra leaned in close as she revealed her sex, watched how it opened slightly with her legs, and marveled at how wet and eager it was. The smell of her arousal was thick between her legs, and it made his head swim as he looked closely at it. His cock throbbed, painfully so, reminding him of his need, begging him to do just what she was asking him to do.

But there was one more thing he wanted to do first, something that he had seen in her thoughts. Instead of leaping on top of her, Abra lowered himself to the sleeping bag, pressing his head down against her crotch, pressing his face against her sex. His nose bumped it first, soaking it with her juices, and he snorted softly as he sucked in her scent. Each breath forced him to fight his own nature, struggling against the need to just spill his load in her, but he kept himself from doing it. He was going to be a good partner for his trainer...for Abby.

Just as she started to lean up to see what he was doing, Abra stuck out his tongue and dragged it over her slit, tasting her. He heard her moan from the little lick, and repeated it in the other direction, dragging his tongue over her pussy, all the way from the bottom of it up to the nub at the top. The liquid that spilled over his tongue was utterly, completely delicious, and he hmmmed in satisfaction, enjoying it even more than the berries earlier.

Her moans were soft, but he heard every one of them, both in his ears and in his mind. She loved his tongue, he knew, and he gave her as many licks as he could, as quickly as he could. The little nub at the top of her slit seemed particularly sensitive, and he paid even more attention to that, driving his tongue against it eagerly, pulling ever louder moans from her lips.

Her slit gushed with juices for him, almost covering his lips in the stuff, and he slurped it down eagerly. His tongue pushed her pussy open, diving inside to get more, and she squirmed under him as he did, her legs twitching, almost closing over his head several times before she stopped herself.

He was about to start licking her little nub again when she suddenly pushed him back, as physically far as he pushed her with his psychic powers before. What? he asked her, worried that he had done something wrong.

"Abra?" She panted, spreading her legs as wide as Abra thought they could physically go, and possibly beyond. "Fuck me."

After this long, there was no way he was ignoring that invitation. With a grin, he hurried to her, laying himself over her. His smaller form meant that his head could only barely reach her breasts, if that, but he slid into her easily, her pussy too wet to stop his cock from sliding in. The wetness at the tip was warm, kind of like her mouth, but different. Hotter.

But that was nothing compared to the feeling of having his cock actually inside of her. She surrounded him with a hole that was tighter than her mouth, and the insides were hotter, wetter, and squeezed him again, and again, milking him and pushing him to cum without him even moving. The soft flesh of her stomach and chest pressed against him, and only encouraged him to stay as close to her, as deep inside of her as he could.

His hips moved on their own, driven by his long neglected sex drive to get fucking. They twitched more than they thrusted, but that was enough, his cock dragging back and forth inside of her. She moaned above him, but he couldn't summon the energy to look up at her. All he could do was thrust, fuck, ram his cock in as deep as he could, again, and again, and again, desperately seeking his own release.

She seemed to be in the same state, too, her hips ramming up against him, grinding against his groin as he met her thrust for thrust. He could feel her hot pussy juice running down his cock, running over his balls before dripping down against the sleeping bag. So hot, so tight...

He could just hear the sound of his cock sliding into her, just hear the sound of himself hilting inside of her. Wet schlup-slap, schlup-slaps repeating again. Abra moaned against her chest, whimpering, panting. He was so close, so...so close....so...

Oooooh! he moaned, almost screaming telepathically as he came. He held her to him, both with his arms and with his power to keep her from pulling away. His cock throbbed, pulsed inside of her before it felt like it exploded, spurting so much of his cum inside of her. He felt like her pussy was draining him like-

Soda through a straw

-the phrase came to him from her mind, but it was just what it felt like, like it was draining him of all that he had inside, of everything that he could produce. And he gave eagerly, panting under her breasts as he drained his balls inside of her pussy.

They held each other for a few minutes afterward, panting, sweating against each other before Abby giggled. "W...wow," she panted. "That...that was..."

Amazing? Abra finished.

"Yeah...you're so..."

Amazing? he finished again.

She chuckled, giving him a playful push that nevertheless pushed him back enough to slide out of her pussy. It was a wet schlorp sort of sound, one that made him moan under his breath. "I have to say, Abra...I could get used to that."

Me too, Abby. Abra smiled. Um...can I...do that again tomorrow night?

"Tomorrow night? You're going to be doing it again in an hour if you can get it up." She chuckled a little bit, sitting up, not even caring about the oozing white cum that was starting to slide out of her. "Now, to pass the time, how about we talk? I don't know anything else about you, but I'd like to know some more about the guy that's going to be giving me such killer orgasms while we travel."

Well...

He settled back, and started to tell her about himself. She leaned forward with the same rapt attention that she'd shown every time that they'd talked, and it flattered him to know that his 'trainer' would be this interested in him. Not just because he was a psychic type, not just because he was her first Pokemon...but because he was himself.

This is the best day of my life, Abra thought.
