Hey guys, this is a request from ehh123 from over on FA.

A pet store that's going under has luck put on it when a little magic is casted...

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you think of this.

NOTE: From now one when I write a request I don't want to be constantly asked for when a request is going to be done, when I'm rushed the story tends to lack in content.

Thomas opened up his shop for the day, the pets inside of their cages started to wake up as the lights turned on. Mice poked their noses out of their caged walls in greeting, hamsters started to run on their wheels per usual, ferrets squeaked in joy as they saw the shop owner. Thomas smiled at the inhabitants of the pet store, "Good morning everyone, I hope your night was nice."

From behind the shop owner a husky pushed back panting happily, as he walked past he lick the cages cheerfully greeting his fellow animals, "Come on Domino, we have to open up shop." Thomas said as he donned a smock and walked back to the glass door of the store and turned the closed sign on the door to open, the owner humming walked behind the counter and stood there whistling happy as he looked at his watch. "Nine o'clock..." He muttered to himself, as he said the words children started to walk in dragging in their parents excitedly.

Thomas grinned at his potential customers while Domino beside him barked cheerfully, "Welcome to my store!"

As day wore on Thomas was saddened to see the animals of his store go, but at the same time he was happy for those animals that left with good owners. Domino would walk up to each of the leaving animals and touched noses with them endearingly as they went off to live their new lives, Thomas smiled gently at the small animals who would look at him with happy eyes before they went off. As the sun went high into the sky Thomas heard the bell on top of his door ring and he naturally started to welcome the person but frowned as he saw a dark suited man walk in, "Mr. Mociner I presume." The man spoke in a businesslike fashion.

Domino growled at the man as Thomas nodded and stepped out from behind the counter and approached the man who pulled an envelope out of his jacket pocket before sniffing as he looked at the animals of the store, "Disgusting mongrels..." He muttered with a disgusted tone before tilting his head to Thomas and stepping out of the store, Thomas grimaced at the man before his gaze dropped to the envelope held in his hand.

Thomas sighed heavily as he walked back to his counter and reached over it to grab a letter opener; he slipped the sharp edge into the edge of the envelope and slid it to the side and pulled it open. As he pulled the paper inside out he frowned at Domino, "Let's see the damage boy..." The husky whined as his master's face dropped further as he read over the note, after reading the paper Thomas's hands dropped low and the paper fell to the floor. Thomas's face had gone a pale white, Domino nuzzled his hand in concern and Thomas smiled at him as he patted the dog's head.

"I'm sorry Domino, but it looks like we're going to be losing this place... we have to close shop within a week." Domino whined sadly as Thomas set his hand to his forehead, "How could I ever let the bills pile up like this..."

As Thomas sat back on his counter the bell on his door rung once more, "Hello?" A woman's voice rang out throughout the store, Thomas didn't answer as a woman dressed in a purple sequined dress walked in. She saw Thomas and frowned as she saw the pained look on his face, "Is something wrong sir?"

Thomas realized that the woman was there and smiled sadly at her, "I'm so sorry, I didn't hear you coming in mam... welcome to my shop." He looked at the paper lying on the floor which now resided under Domino's paw, "I guess what's wrong is that I'm going to be losing all of these animals just because I can't pay my due..."

The woman's eyes flashed an iridescent purple as she looked over the shop, "Well if you'd like, I could help you with that sir..."

Thomas sighed and smiled sadly at the woman, "I'm sorry, but I don't think even the richest person on this planet could fix my problem..." Thomas sighed as he stood up, "I think I'm going to close up early tonight mam, have a good night."

The woman smiled at him before leaving the shop, Thomas locked the door behind her before looking over his shop. "I guess I'd best find homes for you all tonight..."

The store was quiet except for the sound of slight snores echoing from a backroom, Thomas slept in the backroom after working all night making calls to different pet stores across town. Domino lay underneath his desk snoring, as the store laid quiet the women from earlier stood out in front of it holding a small book. She flicked through the pages and smiled as her eyes settled on a page, she lifted her hand and started to mutter an incantation. "For all of the good that this kinda man has done, change all of the inhabitants into little people under his charge to let him keep his loved ones."

A purple light flowed from her hand over the store and encased its habitants in the odd aura, the pets in the store started to change along with their cages. They all stayed the same proportions but they started to become humanlike, the animal's cages around them also changed with them into small rooms. The cages became like little apartments with little walkways beside them, clothes appeared on the animal's bodies as they slept.

None of the creatures were spared the transformation; even Domino was affected by the magic as his body was changed into an anthro form of himself. As the women finished her spell she put the book into a bag where a small cat sat who purred happily, "There you go little one, I've repaid Thomas for the kindness that he did to you." The women muttered happily before walking away from the store, the sign to the store had changed from pet store to one which read, Anthro Apartments, now.

Thomas blinked as he awoke to having a hand pulling on his smock, he blinked and sat up to look down and saw Domino but... he was different now. "D... Domino?"

The dog smiled and nodded, "Yeah it's me, though I think something happened to the store..." Thomas blinked in confusion as he stood up and walked out with the dog and gasped as he saw a community of small anthro animals walking around and talking to one another, Thomas gaped at them all as he noticed a small note on the counter.

He picked it up and started to read it, "Dear Thomas, I hope that this little surprise hasn't put you too off. I have enchanted your store to become a small town for anthro animals, every one of your animals have become a small person who resides in an apartment. They will all pay you for staying there so you can pay off the store rent, I hope this is a pleasant surprise for you." Thomas's face slowly lit up as he realized what this meant.

The man in the black suit approached the store with his face set in a grim scowl, "Todays the day I finally get rid of this stupid store..." But as he approached the store he was astonished to have Thomas push out of the store hastily with a wad of money in his hand, "Mister Monicer... what is all of that?..."

Thomas grinned, "This is all of my rent that is due." The man gaped at him as Thomas shoved the money in his hand and turned him suddenly, "Now if you'll please excuse me, I have to get back to my tenants."

As the man was left in the middle of the street with money clutched in hand he realized something, "Did he say tenants?"

Thomas stepped back into the store and grinned at the anthro people running around to their jobs, "Sorry about that everyone, please go back to what you were doing." Domino grinned up at his master as he received rent from the tenants, "How is the income Domino?"

Domino pulled out a notepad and read off of it, "Well sir... it looks like we're going to be fine on money for a long time." Thomas smiled as he rested his hand on the counter and looked at all of the anthros running around.

"I think we'll be fine for a while now Domino..." The owner of the store was pleased with being able to stay with his store, and his family of animals.
