I spent the next few day observing the caves. I watched as the thugs came and go what mouth they used to enter and what one they would leave from. I noticed that the three pups are still alive because they move them four times in a day every sunrise, sun high, moonrise, and moon high. They move them between four caves.

'So that's they the wolves are having a hard time catching a sent as to which one there pups are down.' I think to myself 'Ok time to make a plan the thugs are very repetitive and I can use that to my advantage, tomorrow I strike. The hard part will be saving the pups without alerting any of them that I am there. They keep the pups separated so I will have to work fast. One slip up and they will kill them all.'

I watched closely today making sure I didn't miss anything going over the plan once more. Right before sunrise one of the thugs a purple feline leaves the caves to do a perimeter check and he doesn't come pack till sun high. So I wont have to really worry about him. Then right at sunrise the cubs are transported to their new caves. It will be in that moment that I will strike. The white pup is the closest one to me so I will go after him first. I am going to wait for them to enter the caves and travel a while then I am going to follow their sent to take me to where the pup is being held. Each pup is guarded by two guards so I am going to have to take both out at the same time and I plan to do that with this bow I made while observing them and a few make shaft arrows. Once I know one is free I will move on to the other I have to get all three out before sun high then when that feline comes back I will take him out. No survivors to go to Chris to say they failed in their mission. That night I did not sleep I spent the night making more arrows and watching closely making sure they don't suspect something.

"Right on time." I say quietly as I spot the purple feline moving out of the cave to do his check.

I lay flat on the grown not wanting him to see me. After I waited long enough for him to pass me I get up and watch for the guards to move the pups. I know only a little time has passed but it felt like forever before I saw them leaving the cave. I checked one more time to make sure they were all alive, I saw Shiro the white pup, Damion the blue pup, and then Luna the tan pup, each being taken to their sunrise caves. I waited a little while longer before climbing down the cliff and walking over to the cave that Shiro was taken down Bow and arrow ready for any surprises. I get to the cave and try to look in it but it was pitch black, this is where my nose comes into play. I hesitated a moment not really wanting to be in pitch black but I have to in order to rescue the pups. I take a deep breath and walk in following the stench of the unwashed fur that was coming off of the thugs. I ran into the walls a few times but after a while I got the hang of it. The stench is getting stronger to I'm guessing I am getting close I try to strain my eyes to see something but it was no good. I follow the smell around a corner and see a light around a corner up ahead. 'Yes just like I was hoping they are not staying in the dark.' I think to my self tightening the arrow on the bow ready to strike.

I sneak up to the corner where the light is watching the shadows being casted against the cave walls. When I got close I could here them talking to one another.

"So how long do you think we will have to stay here?" I heard one of them with a rusty voice ask.

"As long as we are needed you know that." The other one spat back almost irritated at the question.

"We are waiting on the signal from Sky but it this Donta person does not deal soon we are going to kill the pups and take the village by force."

I heard a whimper coming from Shiro "Please I just want to go home."

That did it any doubt I had in me about taking out these thugs vanished and I turned the corner Arrow at the ready shooting at the first thug in my sights. He was a young tiger and as soon as the arrow hit him he fell over. I notched the another arrow and shot it at the other thug a yellow wolf, he too fell when I shot him. Those archery classes finally came in handy. I walk over to the shaken tied up pup and start working on the knots.

"It's ok little one I'm not going to hurt you." I tell him as I get the knots undone "Now I need you to trust me ok?"

Shiro nodded as I picked him up and made are way out of the cave. As soon as we were out I took him to the top of the ledge where I was stationed.

"Now stay here while I go get the rest of your friends." I tell him before heading off to rescue Damion next.

On the way to the cave I look up and see that I still have a bit of time before sun high, but I can't slow down just incase something goes wrong. When I got to the mouth of the cave I had to follow my sent of smell once again because the cave was pitch black, but just like the last one they had a light where they were being held. I drew my bow and arrow tight laying flat against the wall listening to try and get a pinpoint on the thugs location.

"Do you think he will deal today?" I heard one of them ask the other. "I don't know but if he doesn't we kill the flea bags today and take them out tomorrow." the other thug said sounding a little to exited about that for my liking.

After I got a good pinpoint on where they were I turned the cover shooting them both, first the Lion then the Otter. I run up to the blue pup Damion and start working on the knots.

"It's ok don't be afraid I'm here to help you." I tell the shaking pup.

When he was free I pick him up and take him to the ledge with Shiro and set him down next to him. As soon as he was on the ground Shiro just about tackles into Damion holding him tight.

"Ok I will be back then I can take you guys home." I tell them making my way down the ledge one more time. It is about halfway to sun high so I am making good time. This is actually going better then I thought it would, I figured I would have come across a problem by now. I walk up to the final cave and enter it bow and arrow drawn following my nose till I saw the light. I flatten myself against the wall trying to hear them talking to get their location but I didn't hear anything, after a while I was starting to get worried but then I heard a voice.

"I wonder if Sky will mind us having a little fun with this one?" I heard one of them ask purring.

"I don't know we usually don't take hostages this old." the other replied, "But then again what he doesn't know won't kill him."

My blood started to boil if they touched one hair on her I am going to torcher them before killing them. I step into the room shooting my arrow at the Leopard first then at the lizard. The Leopard fell but the lizard the arrow bounced off of him and hit the floor. I take out my knife and charge at the Lizard trying to kill him but every blow I made would not puncture his thick scaly skin.

"You done with playing around?" he asked me before raising his claw to deal the death blow. I rolled away trying to dodge the blow but something weird happened. I heard the lizard yelling and I saw this grey wolf standing over the lizard dead with a spear in his back. The wolf looked at me with his green and blue eyes before pulling his spear out and takes off. I was to stunned to move but when I felt something hit the side of my chest I look over at the tan wolf Luna.

"Oh right sorry." I say rushing over to her untying her.

Once her maw was free of the gag she asked me, "Please tell me you saved the others before me?"

I nod my head as I move over to the lizard to make sure he was dead. Who was that wolf and where did he go?

"Ok well lets get out of here we are in trouble if Sky returns to see his men dead." She said walking out of the room and following the sent train out of the cave. "Oh and great job killing that lizard by the way. An arrow really?"

"It was the only thing I had at the moment." I told her.

I looked up to see if was almost sun high I get me bow ready and notched an arrow. Luna saw this and stepped behind me knowing that danger is around. We started making are way to the cliff where the pups were when I saw him walking into the valley, Sky had returned. I shoot off the arrow I had ready but he dodged it or well he caught it in his paws.

"Great shot any other great ideas." Luna asked sarcastically.

"Yea I've got a few but right now you need to climb this cliff the others are waiting at the top." I tell her slowly backing up to it another arrow at the ready. "I will hold him off you take the pups to safety."

"Alright as soon as the cubs are safe I will come back to help you." Luna said as she took off up the ledge to take the pups home.

Sky was just watching me with his deep purple eyes that seemed to be looking at something more then just me, as if he could see into my soul. 'What if he has the same power Daniel had and that's how he saw the arrow coming at him.' "You know I am surprised for the first time in a long time Tyler" Sky said to me not moving, "To be able to rescue all of the hostages and kill off all of my companions all with in that short of time bravo."

'Looks like I was right he is one of those furs with abilities.' I think to myself not lowering my bow.

"Tell you what I like you kitty so I am going to give you a choice." he said starting to walk over to me, "Join us and help us spread Chris's power or die right there where you are standing."

I growled at the thought "Join you lot?" I asked laughing, "And what die like the rest of your companions fighting for the wrong side? I think not."

Sky chuckled and shook his head, "Wrong move kitty. Say hi to your mom for me."

My blood started to boil 'What the hell did he mean by that? Is she dead? No she can't be!'

Sky started chanting in a language I did not know and I was paralyzed where I was standing, I start to panic. I try to let go of the arrow to I can shoot at him but I had lost all control of my body. He had me under some kind of spell and I was helpless to defend my self. This can't be how it ends it just can't be.....
