Sometimes poetry creates itself. This is one of those poems. This is one of those journeys that I certainly won't forget. Enjoy.

Please comment, it helps me so much. :)

Journey Through a Life Once Lived

Some days I look back on my life And I wonder How I did it all?

The teardrops falling down my face, Rivers on a mountain side With smooth, unbroken ridges Where did they come from? Why did I have so many tears to shed? What dawned on the day the sun rose? How many golden streaks of light filled the day With empty thoughts that fluttered through my head Causing me to shed such bitter tears Sad tears, Happy tears, Tears that shed their own reflection To collect in a pool splashed in by the air.

Each tear has it's own story It's own journey down the face Of the person who cries it. The person who sheds it's lost tear Falling down the face of the broken soul It used to linger from Black fans fanning the waves of tears To be broken of fall by the ground itself.

But tears don't have to be the end. They are a milestone in our lives. The tears we shed are tears once spent Making a memory in our lives; Like a carving in the stone, the tear memories Are here to stay.
